It was bright morning at the Chaotix Detective Agency and the members were packing up. Last night, Vector had received a call from the cops to investigate a case which wasn't suitable for Charmy's age. So, Vector and Espio have to drop him at Vanilla's house. Once they were done, Charmy went downstairs to the living room carrying a luggage where he saw Vector and Espio waiting with their luggages in their hand. They will be gone for a few days.

"Got everythin' ya need?" Vector asked.

Charmy nodded. "Yep."

"Good, now let's go." The team left the agency and headed to Floral Forest Village where Vanilla lived. Once they got there, the croc knocked on the door and expected for Vanilla to open it, also hoping that it won't be Hootie. He didn't want to get teased again like the last time.

The door opened and there stood someone else they didn't know. The team just stood there dumbfounded, it was a hedgehog with dark teal fur, her quills are very long and resembles her hair, she has dark orange eyes, she wore red sleeves shirt, light green belt with red design in the middle, dark purple pants with rips (in a fashion way) and light green shoes with red design.

Vector thought that he's at the wrong house again. "Uhh.. is this Miss Vanilla's house?"

The hedgehog raised an eyebrow. "Of course it is."

"Then where is she?" Espio asked.

"She's doing some errands and have some works to do. She will be back tomorrow. Vanilla hired me to babysit Cream, Cheese and Hootie." the hedgehog said.

"Hootie? Who is Hootie?" the chameleon asked, confused that Vanilla never had a child named Hootie.

"He's an owl, Vanilla adopted him. Anyway, why are you guys here?"

"We're here to drop Charmy, we have some cases to solve and it's not suitable for someone his age. So, could you babysit Charmy either?" Vector demanded.

The hedgehog nodded, "Sure, will do."

Vector turned to the bee and and said, "Now, Charmy, you stay here while we're gone, okay?"

The bee nodded. "Okay."

The two reptiles turned and left. Charmy looked at the hedgehog and asked, "Who are you anyway?"

She grinned, "The name's Migu, Migu the Hedgehog. The protector of the jungles and forests. Swore to fight and would protect our nature habitats at all cost!"

Charmy shrugged. "Pretty cool."

"I know right? Come on in." Migu said and they both stepped in the house.

"Where are the others?" the bee demanded, carrying his luggage.

"Upstairs." Suddenly, a loud fast footstep sounds came from the second floor and soon the culprit ran down the stairs. It was none other than Hootie the Owl himself who was excited to see Charmy.

"Hey, dude!" Hootie greeted, running up to the bee and gave him a high-five which Charmy returned the gesture.

"Hey, Hootie. What's up?"

"Nothing much." the owl glared at the hedgehog. "This plant girl took my phone for being disrespectful although she's the one who's being bossy!"

Migu glared back. "Hey, you're the one who's misbehaving! I took your phone to teach you a lesson!"

Hootie rolled his eyes. "Whatever, c'mon, Charmy, let's go upstairs!"

The two of them ran upstairs, they entered their room as Charmy placed his luggage aside.

"So what brings you here? You're gonna stay here for a while?" The owl asked, hopping himself on the bed.

Charmy nodded. "Yeah, Vector and Espio are going to solve a case, they dropped me here because the case is not suitable for me."

Hootie smiled, "That's cool! We're gonna have so much fun together!"

"Yeah, wanna play some video games?"

"Heck yeah!" Hootie jumped off the bed and the two of them made their way to the television, the owl opened up his game and the two of them started playing.
