"Wake up Stephanie." Diesel murmured gently shaking her shoulder, "We have an appointment in 15 minutes with the new architect.".
Stephanie sighed, "I don't wanna." She said rolling over and hiding her face in her pillow, "I don't want to deal with anyone else today."
Diesel chuckled, "Do you want a new apartment before the babies come?" He asked standing up and crossing his arms as he looked down at her.
Stephanie groaned and kicked her feet, "Yes…. but I don't wanna get up." She moaned out, "I am tiered."
Diesel chuckled, "Lets go take care of this meeting and then you can go back to sleep." He said holding his hand out to her.
Stephanie sighed dramatically, "Fine…FINE." She yelled throwing her arm out to grab his hand, "Let's get this done."
Diesel chuckled, "It won't be that bad…. Plus, I will help you eat dinner after." He said pulling her up, "Then you can go back to sleep."
Stephanie sighed, "Ok but I am not getting dressed." She said pulling her Rangeman sweatshirt over her head as she yawned, "I am going as I am."
Diesel shrugged, "I could care less." He said watching her pull her hair in to a loose ponytail, "Just throw some shoes on before we go upstairs in the construction area."
Stephanie nodded her eyes half closed as she shuffled over to the bathroom to brush her teeth, "Fine can you get me a smoothie." She called out.
Diesel came back a few moments as Stephanie was pulling on her Ugg boots, "Are you ready?" He asked handing her the smoothie taking in her black leggings, Black boots, Black Rangeman sweatshirt and grinned, "Are you channeling Ranger today."
Stephanie grinned as she sipped her smoothie, "I am channeling comfort and laziness." She said walking to the front door, "Are the guys upstairs already?"
Diesel nodded as he pushed for the elevator, "Yes they brought the architect up while you were getting ready." He said walking in when the doors opened, "Remember if this one acts up just say it and we will take care of it."
Stephanie shook her head, narrowing her eyes in determination, "No I will take care of it… but it will be nice to have all of you there for back up." She said watching as the doors slid open. She grinned when she heard Hal give a shout, "Although if it sounds like the guys are already talking."
Diesel snorted following Stephanie into the room over to the counter where Hal, Cal and Hector were standing with arms crossed over their chests looking at a man who was spreading out blueprints on the counter.
Stephanie took in his appearance, He was quiet good looking with blond wavy hair, tall muscular build, not quiet as muscular as Ranger but he could defiantly fit in the building with the other guys. Stephanie gave a small smile when he looked up, "Good afternoon." She said setting down her smoothie and holding out a hand, "My name is Stephanie."
"My name is Mike….Mike Johnson… but you can call me Mike, "He said with a full smile, "I am here today to see if we can get you a new apartment that you love." He said.
Stephanie smiled taking in his bright blue eyes and full genuine smile and she gave a smile back, "I just wanted to talk to you about what happened with your coworker the last week… I just want to make sure that we do not have the same issues." She said.
Mike nodded standing up and turning to her, giving her full attention which made Stephanie begin to think that Mike would be a much different experience.
Stephanie smiled back, "While I know that this... all of this is your area of expertise." She said waving her hands around, "But there ae defiantly things that I am wanting to add and put in that are important to me…." She pointed at the guys who were now leaning against the wall, "That is Hal, Cal and Hector…. They are here to help with the security points and what Ranger would find important." She looked at Diesel who was standing with his arms crossed and eyes narrowed, "And this is Diesel, and he is here to… well just because."
Mike gave her a big grin, "That sounds good to me…. I am here as a guide to get you where you want… I will give you ideals and tell you what will and wont work from engineering standpoint but in the end you are the lead…" He looked around the empty space then back at Stephanie, "Because in the end you will be the one that lives here… so the only person that matters is you…what you want is priority."
Stephanie gave him a bright smile, "I already like you…. much better then Miss. Oliver anyway." She said leaning against counter.
Mike gave a burst of laughter, "You are not the first to say that…. I will say her work is impeccable and beautiful." He said standing up for his coworker, "However it doesn't work if it is not what the client wants in the end."
Stephanie smiled at him, "That sounds about right." She said, "Now should we get down to business?"
Mike gave her a smile, "These are the plans that Miss. Oliver came up with… I want you to tell me honestly what you do like and what you don't… then we can get the guys thoughts on what we should be adding?" He asked looking back to the guys on the wall.
Stephanie nodded, "I like that plan." She said walking around the counter to stand next to Mike looking down at the blue prints, "So I think the most important thing we need to have are the large master with the walk in closet and bathroom… I would like the two extra bedrooms to only have a partial wall dividing them for now with the set up to make it a full wall later. I would like there to also be a bathroom and shared closet between the two room that can be dived later." she paused pointing to the left, "We need two offices side by side that can be opened to share work but glass that can be closed if need, similar to my office down stairs we can show you." She paused and looked to the black kitchen, "We want a large kitchen with an oversized island and a large walk in dining room, the table I want sits 10. We also want a large living room and a guest bathroom for visitors to use out here." She looked to Diesel who gave her a nod, "I would love the living room to be able to set up for a large screen for movies…. as well as the entire space of the living, kitchen and dinning room to be open to see one another with the feel of being slightly separated."
Diesel nodded looking to Mike, "We were thinking the master bedroom to stay along the back wall there." He said pointing behind the kitchen area, "and the kids rooms to be along this wall…." He said pointing to the right. "And the offices along the back closer to the elevators and the living room to be along the left…. we would like floor to ceiling windows along the office areas that can have them, the living room and more windows added into the kids rooms."
Stephanie gave a small cringe, "I know that we are asking a lot… do we have the space for all of that?" She asked looking around the new blank space, "I mean if I could…. I would add in a play area for the babies."
Mike nodded looking at the blueprints, "Well your thoughts are not on these at all really…..." He pushed them away and grabbed a pen and paper, "Ok let me write all of this down and I will draw up some plans for you to look at." He said quickly writing down everything she had said.
After a moment he looked up and smiled, "All of this is easy enough to put in… we just have to get a layout that you would like… and this space is just under 3,000 square feet so we can add all of this plus a play area and the rooms will still be pretty big."
Stephanie's face broke out into a huge grin, "Yea?" She asked looking back at the guys who gave her small nods, "I know the guys will want to talk to you about security we need to add in around the apartment as well as the types of windows they want added….. they said something about bullet proof like they used on the 5th floor."
Mike gave her a quick nod, "That is easy enough." He said with a smile, "Once we get a general layout we will start looking at different points of architecture and lighting, we can also start looking at different materials and colors you would like around the apartment."
Stephanie bit her lip, "Can we wait on some of those things… just a few weeks if its ok." She said softly, "I would like Ranger to be back if possible."
Mike nodded, "Let's get the layout first…. I will have some drawn up in a day or so and then we can change or add anything you would like…. From there we will add lighting and any security the guys want to add… the last thing we do is the different materials like cabinets, backspaces, tile and flooring and any colors or things you would to add from a design perspective." Mike said, "We can do that last part in a few weeks…. It will take time to get the basic layout and walls put up… we can push as much of it back as possible and get the bones of the apartment done then add the rest step by step."
Stephanie bit her lip for a moment then smiled, "Thank you so much." She whispered, "For a moment I didn't think I was going to get anything done before Ranger got back."
Mike gave her a big smile, "We can get a lot of this done…. And save what we can for… Mr. Manoso … or Ranger?" He paused waiting for her to nod, "We can save what we can for Ranger to be here…. I know you had a deadline you were wanting to meet…. I am thinking begining to end we can get it done with the budget you have in 15-20 weeks."
Hal pushed off the wall and walked over, "How much would we need to add to the budget to get it done faster." He asked.
Mike gave a small smile, "With construction…. the bigger the budget the faster it will get done…we can add more workers and with a bigger crew it will move up the timetable." He passed and frowned, "Somethings will just take longer though, so at minimum 10 weeks I am thinking."
"Consider your budget increased… we would like it done as soon as possible…We want Stephanie to be comfortable in her last few months of pregnancy and her home is the best place for that." Hal nodded over at Mike, "I also will need a list of anyone that will need access to the building… we need to do background checks…. Plus, any time frames when someone will be here so we can have men standing guard." He said looking over at Hector, "Also we will have general cameras up at all times to cover all of the apartment until the permanent cameras are in place."
Mike nodded writing down everything Hal was saying, "We can do that…... we have two general crews that we use, I will get you all of the names and see how fast we can get started." He said looking over his notes.
Mike looked over at Stephanie with a smile, "I will be back on Wednesday with a few layouts for you to look through as well as some ideas for the for the apartment." He paused looking over at Hal, "If you want to put the cameras up in the next few days we might be able to start as soon as Friday if Steph likes any of the layouts."
Hal nodded, "We can do that… get us the names as soon as possible." He said looking over at Cal who nodded, "I have Stephanie's schedule so call me when you would like to come by, and I will block time for you."
Mike nodded, "I will call you when I get back to the office and set up a time to come by." He said, "And if you give me your email, I will send you a list of the contract workers we will be most likely using." He paused and rubbed his chin for a moment, "I will warn you some of them will have a record…. We try to use those who are good at their job and we try to give second chances… I will say we have never had any problems with any of the workers before."
Hal nodded, "Having a record doesn't bother us… having connections to the wrong people might." He said, "It also gives us a list of who we have on our premises…. We always keep a list of anyone who comes into our building."
Mike frowned, "Everyone?" He asked eyes wide.
Hal gave a small smirk, "Everyone…. Why do you think we needed a few hours before you were allowed to come." He said.
Stephanie rolled her eyes, "They are protective of the building and who has access." She said.
Cal snorted from behind her, "We are protective of her." He said walking over and putting his arm around Stephanie's shoulders, "So… MIKE…. just so we are on the same page…. We will be watching you and everyone that comes in the building."
Hal narrowed his eyes, "AND tread carefully how you talk to her… whatever she wants… she gets, cost does not matter…. Time does not matter…. So, keep that in mind better then Miss. Oliver did." He said.
Mike held his hands up, "Stephanie will get nothing but respect and listening from me… if something cannot be done, I will make sure to explain why so maybe we can come with alternative plan." He gave a small smile, turning to look at Stephanie, "I meant what I said before… this is your home Stephanie… it needs to be what you want, that is the most important thing and I will make sure that happens."
Hal nodded, "Good then we are all on the same page." He said turing to Stephanie, "Is there anything else you want him to add to your list?"
Stephanie nodded pulling a list out of her hoodie, "I made this list before." She said holding it out, for Mike to take from her, "It has a few random things that I would like added to the apartment… a sink in the center island… a large enough storage entry closet we can add things like strollers….." She paused thinking for a moment, waving her finger, "In the master bathroom I want a large walk in shower with multiple shower heads and a separate large bathtub… I want a door going from the master into the twins room that can be closed up later… and a few other things like that."
Mike nodded, "These are too easy." He said looking over the list, "I will add everything to the layout."
Stephanie smiled at him, "I think you will…." She said thoughtfully, "I like you." She finally said after a moment with a grin, "For one you listen… but two, you seem to love what you do and be excited to help me."
Mike grinned, "I do love what I do… and I love making people happy… knowing that something that I created… something that I poured my heart into…... is the place where people will live out their lives." He paused looking up, "There is no better feeling then that."
Stephanie smiled thoughtfully, "You touch peoples lives long after you have left their lives." She said softly.
Mike nodded, "Yes." He said simply.
Stephanie rubbed her stomach lightly, "I think you are prefect to help us… you listen… really listen when I talk." She paused for a moment and gave a soft smile looking over Hal and Cal then looked back at Mike, "I don't want you to be afraid to tell me if you think you have a better ideal or if I should modify something…. You are better then I am at this and I trust your judgment." She said, "I know if you are telling me to change or do something different it will be for a reason."
Mike smiled at her, "Yes of course." He said, "I will get you your dream home Stephanie."
Stephanie nodded, "Then I will see you in a few days." She said smiling at him before turning to Hal and Cal, "You guys want to go over any place you want security to be so he knows as he builds the blue prints…. I have to run to my office to get some paper work done."
Hal nodded, "Sounds good… you need to go anywhere the rest of the day?" He asked.
Stephanie shook her head, "I am staying in for the night…. I do have a meeting tomorrow at one of our client buildings… I am going to take Hector to check on the new access points." She said.
Hal frowned, "Cal and I have meets we can't miss… So, Binkie and Zip follow you." He said, "We will be free in the afternoon if you need us."
Stephanie nodded reaching up to kiss Hal cheek gently, "Sounds good." She pulled back, "I should be in all afternoon, but I do have another appointment the next day in the afternoon."
Hal frowned, "I think you plan these when you know we are busy." He said.
Stephanie threw her head back and laughed, "That's exactly what I do…..." She said, eyebrows wiggling, "I will send you my current appointments and meetings for the next two weeks."
Hal sighed and rubbed his eyes, "Yes do that… at least then we can plan for what is scheduled…. Although you seem to go off book often." He muttered.
Stephanie smirked at Hal, "It is part of my charm." She said turning to Diesel who was chuckling at her, "Let's go Mr. Mr…. you promised to help me with dinner." She turned to Mike, "See you in a few days."
Mike nodded and waved, "See you." He said turing to Hector and Cal who were now whispering to one another as they wrote done a list of access points.
Stephanie slid her hand into the crook of Diesel arm, walking him to the elevator, "Can you go tell Ella that I am going to be in my office…. I want to check over some of the contracts for tomorrow."
Diesel nodded, "Of course…. I will talk to James about your medicine." He said as the elevator doors slid closed, "I talked to Meg about switching your IV and shots to the night since it they made you so sick all day…. It defeats the purpose if you still cannot keep anything down."
Stephanie shook her head, "I know I just…. I can't seem to get a break." She paused when the elevator door opened on 5, "I will meet you in my office." She said stepping out and waving as the door slid closed.
Stephanie walked down the hall to her office stopping when Zip ran up, "Hey Steph…. We got another round of afternoon mail in…...including a special delivery." He said handing her a pile of envelopes.
"Thanks Zip." She said opening her office door, "I heard that you get to hang with me tomorrow when I go to some contract meetings."
Zip followed her into the office and threw himself into the seat across from her desk as she took a seat, "Better than the desk duty I had before… Hector made it so the new guys take that while the rest of us take turns following you around." He said with grin.
Stephanie snickered, "You guys hate desk duty, but it is often safer then hanging out with me." She said beginning to open her mail.
Zip snorted, "I would take a bullet hanging out with you any day over watching monitors." He said.
Stephanie shook her head, "You guys have a wired sense of fun." She muttered looking over a contract she pulled out of the envelope, "I have been shot before…. It sucks."
Zip shrugged, "Think about it…. The risk of being shot while having fun hanging out with you… and your adventures…... or hours upon hours of watching screens." He said.
Stephanie looked up and thought about it for a moment, "I mean… when I was shot in the ass it didn't hurt too badly… I would take another shot in the ass before did day and days in front of a computer." She said.
Zip burst out laughing, "See… even you can agree that sometimes in a rare case…...getting shot is better then doing monitor duty." He said pointing at her.
Stephanie shook her head as she gave him a small smile, "Let Ranger hear us saying that." She said, "He would kill us both."
Zip nodded, "Yes he would… and luckily you are currently pregnant and only doing safe things." He said pointing at her.
Stephanie held her hands up, "Of course I am only doing safe things…... although…" She paused pointing and grinning, "When things happen, they are NOT my fault."
Zip threw his head back and held his side as he laughed, "This is true." He said standing up, "But it never is your fault… is it." He asked walking to the door, "Holler if you need anything, I will be on the floor for a while."
Stephanie smiled as she watched him walk down the hall through the glass, she looked down the express envelope and frowned. There was no return address and it only said her name and the building number. She quickly ripped off the top of the envelope and her eyes widened when another envelope slid out with her name in cut out letters.
Stephanie felt the blood drain from her face and reached with shaking hand to grab the remote that locked the door and changed the glass to opaque. She carefully pulled on a pair of gloves from her desk and opened the letter, laying it flat on the desk. Her breath caught in her throat as she read.
Stephanie,
I saw you today… I saw you when you came out and I was excited to see you. Until I saw your stomach… how could you do this… to me? to us? You walked into the doctors office surround by men. Do you even know the disappoint I felt that you decided to stay in that building, with those men. Now when I rescue you, I will have to help you understand what you are doing wrong. I will have to help you remove the burdens from your body.
Never fear,
I will save you soon,
I will see you soon.
Stephanie felt her stomach rolling and she twisted in her chair to the side falling to her knees in front of the wastebasket throwing up everything that was in her stomach. She closed her eyes against the horror that was sliding through her, the stalker was escalating… he moved from adoration to anger and he threatened her babies… her fucking babies. Her hands trembled as she cupped her stomach, "I won't let anything happen to you." She whispered, closing her eyes as the room spun, "I promise I will NOT let anything happen to you ever."
Stephanie jumped when she heard the knock on the door, "Steph... open up I have your dinner." Diesel called out.
Stephanie's stomach rolled at the thought of food and she heaved into the garbage again. She closed her eyes tighter when Diesel called out again, "Stephanie… let me in… now." She could hear the worry in voice, but she was paralyzed, on her knees hanging over the garbage. "Stephanie please open the door."
She closed her eyes holding her stomach tightly and tried to take deep breaths… to push the nausea down... to push the anxiety down. But she could not think past fear… she could not move past the fear. She closed her eyes when Diesel reached out and yanked the handle breaking the lock. She refused to open her eyes when she heard Diesel rushing across the room to gather her in his arms, "Hey… what's going on?" He asked softly.
Stephanie did not say anything just put her face to his chest, literally trying to bury her head away from what was happening. Diesel pulled her close rubbing her back gently, "Hey…. Its ok…. I am here… whatever it is." He looked her over, "You and the babies seem to be ok… all of your auras are strong." He told her softly trying to reassure her, "Talk to me."
Stephanie shook her head as a sob pulled out of her chest, "Diesel." She whispered her hands rubbing her stomach begging for her babies to kick so she could feel them, so she could know they were ok and the must have been listening to her because she felt the gentle roll on her hands and sagged in relief.
"What the fuck happened." Hector growled from the door way snapping the door closed as Stephanie continued to cry against Diesel.
Diesel shook his head, "I found her like this… both her and the babies look fine." He said looking over at Hector.
Hector kneeled next to them, reaching out pull Stephanie into his arms, "Hermana…. What is going on?" He asked softly his arms tightening around her, "Talk to me." He begged, "You are starting to scare me."
Diesel stood up and started to look around the room as Hector kept talking to her gently, "You have to talk to us." He said looking when Diesel eyes narrowed to the letter and he snarled under his breath.
Diesel pulled on another glove quickly reading it before turing it so Hector could read it.
Hector clenched his jaw as he read the words in the letter, when he was done, he shook his head and kissed her curls, "You are going to be ok…... all three of you are going be ok... but we have to talk to the guys now…. He is escalating."
Stephanie shook her head, "No…. it will only make Ranger worry if he finds out and he cannot do anything about it…. So no, I can't let this distract him." She said her voice breaking, she took a deep breath and pulled back wiping her eyes, "But I also know that I have to be careful…. So, for now... again, I am not leaving the building… I will reschedule anyone that I can and bring the rest into the building… and have at least one guy in the room with me at all times with clients."
Hector frowned, "I would rather tell the guys, but as long as stay inside and have a man with you with any clients... we will do this your way." He paused looking over at Diesel, "All clients will be screened before they are allowed in… and I want Diesel or I to be in the room with anyone that is a new client."
Stephanie nodded, sitting back on her heels, "I can do that…. If I need to leave the building… we will tell the guys … but I need to keep him safe…I need to keep Ranger safe, just as much as myself and the babies." She whispered, watching Diesel come to kneel next to them, "But Ranger will only be gone a few more weeks…. I can hold out."
"Fine we will do this your way." Diesel said sighing and pulling her up into his arms carrying her over to the couch and setting her down gently, "We need to have some ground rules though." He pulled one of the chairs over to sit in front of her, "I am going to get this new letter to Joe…. But Steph….this letter is escalated… he is getting angrier… more off kilter, and there is a direct threat to you and the babies now."
Stephanie nodded shivering as Hector pulled a blanket from one of the cabinets and wrapped it around her, "He is right…. That letter shows that who ever is writing it truly believes that you already have a relationship… the babies threaten that relationship and he will do what he has to get rid of them…even if that means hurting you." He said sitting next to her on the couch.
Stephanie closed her eyes, "Ok so what do we do… what else should I do?" She asked softly as Hector pulled her into his side, rubbing his hand up and down her arms to warm her up.
Diesel sat back in his chair, "You are always with someone when you meet anyone inside the building…. If it is a new client, Hector or I are there… We call Meg to come here for you appointments and you do not step one step outside of this building." He looked over at Hector who nodded.
"I want an active tracker on you at all times and I am going to add more cameras in and around the building." Hector said, "I am also going to assign you someone to watch over you in the building…." He held up a hand when Stephanie went to cut into and shook his head, "I will tell them I am being overly precautions with the new meds you are on… that we are worried about you fainting… so whenever you leave this office to go anywhere you will have a shadow…. Once you get it to the apartment at night Diesel or I will make sure it is cleared and locked up after us…. And I don't want to hear it, with crew members coming in the building I want every area covered."
Diesel nodded, "I agree… I also think that anytime she goes to 7 to meet with any of the crew it should be you and I with her."
Hector clenched his jaw, "I am also adding new safety with the elevator…... It will be unable to stop on any floor but 1, 5 and 7…. so any workers or meetings do not have access to the other floors and I am upgrading the security pads on the stairs… thumb prints and codes for only those who work here."
Stephanie sighed, "So now I have to take the stairs?" She muttered with a small smile.
Hector raised an eyebrow, "No…... smart ass... I will get you a key card like Rangers that will allow you to go to any floor…... but if you go to any floor beside 4 and 5 you need Diesel or I with you." he said.
Stephanie rubbed her forhead as a headache started to come in at full force, "Ok…. I can do this… no problem… it will be easy." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "I will never ever be alone… will I? She whispered.
Diesel gave a small chuckle, "No… well maybe when you are in your bed but since you don't want to tell anyone …... Hector and I are going to put you in the bubble so thick that no one will be able to see inside it." He said.
Stephanie sighed, "I am scared." She whispered, her voice breaking as she looked at the guys, "I want Ranger."
Hector's misted, "I know you do… and we are going to keep you… those babies... and the guys all safe until he gets back." He said holding her hands tightly, "But when he gets back… you need to make sure you protect us from them… since they are going to kills us."
Stephanie smiled softly like he wanted and nodded, "You can stand behind me…. Plus, I am pretty sure they are more scared of you then you are of them anyway…... well except Ranger."
Diesel snorted, "I am not afraid of anyone… not even Ranger." He said smirking.
Hector raised an eyebrow, "Then you can tell them when they get back." He said making the smirk wipe of Diesel's face and Stephanie laugh as she wiped the tears off her cheeks.
"I will tell them… you big babies." Stephanie said to the guys as she rubbed her stomach, "They won't kill me… yell and be mad but these babies offer me some protection." She paused with a smirk, "We will protect the big bad men."
Hector rolled his eyes but grinned as Diesel pointed at her, shaking his finger, "Keep up your attitude and see if I ever…. ever leave you alone... I will make sure we are watching you even in the shower." He said making Stephanie freeze in horror.
"You wouldn't." She said.
Diesel snorted, "Ohhhh I would." He said, "I most definitely would…" He grinned, "Now for dinner." He said.
-/-/-/-
Ranger sat at the small grimy table across from Tank and scowled, "We have been here over a week and still have nothing." He murmured under his breath shifting so slightly no one noticed in an attempt to offset some of the overbearing 100 + degree heat, "We need to be more aggressive."
Tank gave a small smirk as he took a gulp of the alcohol from his dirty cup, "You have never been in such a hurry before…. Anything you trying to hurry back too?" He asked quietly.
Ranger gave a subtle nodded, "I just keep getting this bad feeling." He said quietly looking across the dirty bar, eyes taking in every detail and categorizing it for when they had to leave.
Tank gave a frown so small no one noticed except Ranger, who gave one small shake of his head, "Not with this." Ranger said looking up as Lester walked into the bar, giving him a small nodded as he walked over and slid into the open chair at the table, "Back home… I feel like I need to be with her." He taping his finger on the table, "Something is going on… something is wrong."
Lester frowned, "She told us she was going to be careful." He murmured, "Plus you have the entire building watching her… with H and D, she is portably going crazy not being left alone." He said with a smirk.
Ranger shook his head, "No…. it is something else." He murmured as his eyes continued to scan every exit, his face blank, "She would call it her spidy sense…. Something is off…. I can feel it." He said eyes narrowing slightly as he took in the group of men who just walked into the bar, "Let's take care of this." His chin barely moving as he tilted his head to the bar, standing up, "I want to get home."
Tank pulled Ranger's glass over and swallowed down his alcohol before standing up, "Then let's take care of this…. And get back to our girl." He said his chin jerking at Ranger.
Lester stood up, nodding over at Ranger, "She is going to be ok…... but I agree…... I want to see if she popped." He said with a grin, "Plus I want to see if we are having girls or boys."
Tank snorted, "We could be having one of each." He muttered pulling the gun from his back.
Ranger shook his head, "The two of you are having nothing…. She and I are the ones having the babies." He said pulling his gun to rest it along his thigh as he walked across the bar.
Lester snickered pulling the gun from the small of his back, "You keep telling yourself that." He grinned, "and keep telling everyman in our building that." He said making Tank chuckle.
Ranger sighed, "You guys are a pain in the ass." He muttered with a small smirk, "But you are not wrong." He said shaking his head making both men laugh as they placed their guns in the small of the men's back at the bar, "Let's get this shit done."
Lester grinned evilly as his hand came to rest on one of them men's shoulder, "Yes…. Let's take care of this." He said leaning forward to whisper into the man's ear "How are you today Amigo?"
The men turned as Tank came to stand next to Ranger and took a step back at his size and the gun hidden in his hand between them, "Yes…." Tank said with a feral smirk, "Let's get this done."
