I Don't Own Minecraft

"Alright let's get going" The words felt dry in my mouth even as I said them as I stood in front of the nether portal I had made almost a full week ago now. Even with two people helping me out now, and us arguably being much better equipped, my feet felt frozen as the two in front of me stepped into the portal and vanished. I realized after a moment that I didn't want to go back in, the place scared me, and yet...

I bit the inside of my cheek hard for a moment and forced my feet to move as I stepped inside the portal and fell into the blissful warmth of the transporting of dimensions. At least the ride to hell wasn't all that bad, heh, I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere. Unfortunately said joke wasn't made as I didn't have the time to think of it as I was suddenly injected into a painfully hot space as it felt like all moisture in my mouth disappeared as I appeared in the nether as I took a step out of the portal.

"Damn that was awful" Huh? I looked over towards Bine who was currently bent over with his hands on his knees as he seemed to try and not throw up, even as he looked around with a green face as he seemed to try and take in ether the sights or the heat. What the hell, why did he look so sick?

"No kidding, you could have warned us about that" I looked over and noted that Alysine was in a similar position as her brother as I noted her face was a bit green as well, though not as noticeable as her brother. The only thing that made since was that the portal transport wasn't as easy for them as it was for me but I wasn't sure why that would be the case...unless.

"I didn't know it would be bad. Enderman remember? I'm pretty use to disappearing and reappearing from one place to another, I guess it also happens to apply to portals as well. Sorry about that" Bine gave me a halfhearted thumbs up while Alysine just scoffed a bit before straightening up a bit before grimacing a bit as she tugged on the collar of her iron chest plate, like it was just getting to her as to just how hot it was. I felt the urge to say I told you so, but with held and just said.

"Come on, we're next to a lava lake so it's extra hot around here, once we get to the wastes it should cool down a bit more and when we get by the soul sand valley it should be somewhat manageable" The two seemed to groan but they asked for us to come here so I didn't bother to say anything though I really did want to rub it in, I amanegd to contain myself somewhat as we moved on, though as we managed to get past the massive open lava lake by walking around the rim, I noted Bine suddenly pull out his sword as I looked around and spotted what he had seen.

"Stop!" He was a good fifteen feet away from me so in a moment I had vanished and appeared in front of him and grabbed his sword arm to halt him from moving anymore as I turned and looked at what he has been heading towards. Thankfully he hadn't gotten himself killed as he had been on his way to attack a zombie piglin.

"Dude move, it's a-" I cut him off there and said with a much sharper tone than I might to use.

"It's a passive mob! Until you attack it that is, then everyone of them in a mile from it will swarm on our position to kill you dead. And unlike zombies these things are fast and they all have swords to cut you down with. So do me a favor and don't attack anything in here that doesn't attack you first. Ok?" He seemed to pale a bit, even with sweat dripping down his brow as he looked back at the mobs for a second before nodding and saying in a slightly shaky voice.

"S-sorry" I just shook my head and gave him a pat on the shoulder as I waved for him to follow after me as I continued to move while thinking about what to say to make him feel better, after all I needed to get better at not being me, aka being nice when I speak. After a long moment I said.

"It's fine man, you didn't know and nothing bad ended up happening" He nodded as I noted Alysine was now actively not looking at me at all, I didn't get it. She seemed to do that whenever I teleported it would seem, it had taken me a while to notice because I hadn't teleported much recently since I was healing, but even now that I'm pretty sure that I know what I'm doing that she doesn't like, I'm not sure why she doesn't like it. I would have asked but before I could Bine dragged me into a conversation.

"S-so what are those things?" I looked over at him for a moment, thinking about how to respond before looking over at Alysine, who was very clearly not looking at me still, though from her looking off in the direction of the crimson forest we were approaching, I wasn't sure if she was also ignoring her brother or just to caught up in the sight. I guess I would be the one to answer.

"They are zombified piglins which you get from, well, a dead piglin. While piglins are hostile mobs here in the nether which we will be trading with later on with gold to get ender pearls without as much risk of fighting endermen" I made note to make sure to get them to help me mine out a couple of these nether gold ore pockets to get some gold built up before we return. At least that was what I was thinking before Alysine's voice broke me out of my thoughts.

"No, we aren't trading, we're going to kill enough endermen to get the pearls that way" I looked over at her while noting Bine winced at that for some reason. I thought about saying something on that as the way she said it was honestly kind of concerning considering I was part enderman myself. But once again I was cut off from doing so as I heard the undoubted sound of a loud squeal. I would know with how many pigs I've killed. But they didn't sound like zombie piglins, and there wasn't any pigs in the nether... Oh shit.

"Get ready!" It was all I could say as I was to busy looking around, and then I saw them, two piglins, not zombified running towards us from the right with golden swords at the ready. The thing that caught my attention though was that there were three more in the back with crossbows loaded and ready to fire at us, and that Alysine, the one that had no idea how to fight, was between me and her brother and the horde of mobs. Rushing forwards, I clashed my sword against the closest piglin, barely in time to stop the strike from ripping into Alysine side, with no idea as to how effective the amour would be.

Gritting my teeth, I pushed back hard against the blade and knocked it out of the way before instantly sinking my stone blade into the head of the piglin before pulling it out and rushing towards the ones armed with the cross bows as I trusted Bine to deal with the other piglin and Alysine to be able to help me with her bow. Plus I'm the only one here immune to arrows. Which proved to be a good thing as before I even had the chance to dodge out of the way, I was ripped from my shot via teleport from two arrows that would have ripped into my throat or head if they had landed.

Appearing a bit closer but to the left of the piglins, I didn't waste anymore time and vanished again before appearing next to the furthest on the left before stabbing it deep into the piglins side, easily nicking at least both of it's lungs and probably it's heart. After all, this ones were alive so I could aim at the body, which I was much better at, than the head to kill them.

Pulling my blade out, I walked quickly up to the second one, and brought my sword up, and in a slash, had split it's throat open as I winced a bit as for the first time listened to something alive drown to death with it's own blood flooding it's throat. I was so use to mobs which didn't feel pain or animals that died so fast from these hits, that decapitation attacks kind of become normal for me, but it moved out of the way and now it was slowly dying as I felt the need to look away. That's when I was almost shot.

It wasn't the last piglin, no, I had almost died to many times from being unaware of my surroundings, the piglin had dropped it's crossbow and had begun to pull out it's own gold sword. Meaning I had been shot in the back as I appeared behind the piglin, I put it out of my mind for a second and instead forced my head out of my own disgust as I stabbed my blade through the piglins chest, right over the spot the heart would be on a human and hoped it was the same as it's body dropped as I walked away from them as I noted the arrow that had failed to hit me on the ground a little while away. I walked towards it and picked it up.

Moving my eyes back towards the source of the arrow, I felt a very annoyed frown appear on my face as I saw Alysine standing there, looking away pointedly, like she was trying to act like she hadn't almost killed me. I felt the instant need to stalk over there and fucking smack her, but that would be stupid, though I was admittedly pissed. Logic won out, she didn't mean to do that, probably, after all I doubt she has much experience with a bow. So instead of focusing on my anger, I looked over towards Bine and noted he had already killed the piglin easily enough. Good, at least one of them is competent.

Looking back at the now despawned piglins, I noted on the ground was a nice looking crossbow, the thing wasn't like one found in the overworld obviously, the iron was replaced with gold where the lever was along with the spot for the bolt, or arrow, not to mention the wood was a rich dark purple color, making it clear what kind of wood this came from, as well as the draw string, it was a white color with red seemingly seeping into the ends a bit. It wasn't hard to guess this came from a strider's head. All in all, it looked fucking awesome and I was going to keep it.

Besides I preferred crossbows than normal bows in the game, I liked that I could keep them loaded before using them, plus they were just stronger and more accurate at the only downside being loading time. And surprisingly this one already had a arrow slotted into it, from the looks of it, the arrow head was still flint while the shaft was also blue colored wood, like the crossbow, with the fetch on the end being the same as the string on the cross bow. Of course I wasn't going to use it as from the looks of the thing, it was low on durability, only about a quarter left on it, plus I only had one extra arrow on me, so it wouldn't do much, plus I don't have much experience with them.

Still, all in all, this was a surprisingly nice way to get me back into a more neutral mood. I wouldn't say I was happy because I don't think anything would be able to convince me that being in the nether was a good idea. But this helped my bad mood at least, and I didn't feel as angry anymore which was nic-

"Hurry up, I wanted to get out of here already" I felt something bend a bit in my head as Alysine's voice rang out to me as I felt all good will vanish as I frowned as I tossed the crossbow into my inventory before turning around and glaring at the woman as I walked back. She flinched at the sight, and or once I didn't feel bad or confused about it at all, it was the reaction I wanted to see. I was trying my damnedest to not be an ass, but she did not make it easy.

"Sorry, I figured I deserved a moment to think after someone almost shot me. Come on" She had been about to say something when I cut her off with that last sentence as I near stomped past as the heat was making me sweat a lot more than I had been a few moments, it probably didn't help that I was now angry, but I ignored that as I continued on, keeping an eye out at the sky all the same to not be caught off guard by another ghast, but I didn't see any nearby.

This trip was going ok so far, beside the unbearable heat, which I knew was effecting the other two worse than it was me, as I had already kind of gotten somewhat use to it, not to mention they both were wearing heavy iron chest plates as we all walked. About ten minutes later, we had arrived at the soul sand valley. From here I'll admit my memory was a lot more shady but I still had the path I had outlined in cobble so it wasn't hard to find the fortress from there, though it did take another twenty minutes or so with how much the soul sand slowed us down until I saw it.

"There, come on" Walking up to the base of one of the support towers, I looked upwards, looking for the ledge I had managed to catch last time and quickly spotted it. As the two walked up besides me, I absently reached out and grabbed both by the shoulder and focused hard and vanished.

"Fuck!" I was the one to say it as the three of us appeared on the railing as I pulled the two onto the floor right before my vision swum as my skull pounded in my head for a moment. Right, teleporting with a person is painful, but teleporting with more than one person is hell, good to know. Lightly I tried to shake my head but it didn't make me feel any better so I just pushed the pain into the back of my head as I looked over towards the other two who looked a bit dizzy but not all that effected, before saying.

"We're stair casing down on the return, moving you both fucking sucked" They didn't say anything but I did note Bine nodded like he was seriously remembering that while Alysine rolled her eyes, it pissed me off but I continued to walk forwards towards the path while making sure to make note the corners to not get caught off gaurd again. Alysine thought it was stupid while Bine noted it was smart.

"The hell is that" I spun around, my sword already in hand and with the instinct to teleport already itching at the back of my head, only to sigh in relief at the thing Bine had seen wasn't a wither skeleton, and instead was a magma cube.

"It's a magma cube, it's worthless, it's to small to even do damage" While I didn't really like how she had said it, I also didn't like at all the things she said because she was wrong. I felt like not saying anything and letting it attack her but I decided to move past the two, back tracking a bit as I reserved the grip in my sword before stabbing through the small cube and watched as it disappearing before saying.

"They can drop magma cream which is great for potions so they aren't worthless, and your thinking of slimes, the small magma cubes can still cause bad burns if you let them touch you" I didn't bother to see how see reacted to being told she was wrong, I didn't want to deal with her at the moment as I moved back to walking in the correct direction. Listening out for any rattles which thankfully didn't come as I saw a familiar looking chest ahead of us. Which Bine instantly zoned in on, which was kind of amusing to be honest as I called out to him before he got to far.

"I looted it already but feel free to take the horse amour, we might get some use out of it if we can find a horse near our plains biome" He looked back to me before smiling as he flipped open the chest before laughing to himself before grabbing the item and took it out, with a big smile on his face. I didn't know why he seemed so happy, but I'll admit, I smiled as well, it was nice that he seemed to be so happy, neither of the two seemed to ever really laugh or smile. Alysine never did it, and Bine's laughs never lasted long, like mine. It made my chest feel lighter to see him happy for some reason.

Shaking my head, I continued to walk on as he laughed a bit as I showed them to the blaze spawner. From there, things honestly didn't go to bad, we killed a lot of blazes, mostly because the damn rods wouldn't drop for some reason, and we all took a few burns, not going to lie, my left arm was a little crispy. But in the end, I had eight blaze rods in my inventory, though Alysine strangely made an argument for her to hold onto them. I just ignored her.

It wasn't that bad to be honest, not as bad as I thought it was going to be, sure we had fought a bit, but the piglins weren't to bad I guess, and the blazes seemed to get confused easily when there was so many of us, throwing fire in evrey direction, which I was able to teleport around easier now that I wasn't close to collapsing like I was last time.

Alysine got quiet after that, but Bine was more than fine holding the conversation after I had killed most of them with him helping me distract and kill off a few himself. Honestly I had pegged him as not the best fighter because of how we met, but he could easily hold his own, in fact he's probably a decent bit better than me since he's been trained for this kind of thing for years.

It was a nice feeling, to not have to be burdened with all the death. I wasn't sure if he thought the same way, but as we walked down the halls, he was smiling a bit more, walking backwards a tad, more looking over his shoulder, as he held a slightly rocky conversation with me. Mostly because I wasn't good with long talks, I just wasn't use to them, but I was admittedly kind of happy. And so was him apparently with the light smile on his face.

That feeling disappeared as I heard rattling and felt my eyes, both, widen in shock as I watched as a wither skeleton suddenly just seemed to appear and rush at Bine's back, sword already raised to bring down on him. They weren't that far away but the problem was I wouldn't have the time to get my sword out and I didn't have a shield... Something about the smile on Bine's face, as he had yet to realize what was happening, made the decision for me as I vanished as I heard the start of a scream from Alysine.

Appearing in front of the blade, I'll be honest, my head was spinning a bit, clear I hadn't completely recovered from using my teleporting as a cab service. Not that it really mattered since I didn't have a second to do anything, when the blade of the sword slashed a crossed my chest. I felt a gasp rip from my throat as I stumbled back as my hand pulled out the crossbow, my mind still not catching up to what had happened as I shot the weapon, I missed needless to say as I landed on my back staring up at the ceiling as I listened to yelling while the room seemed to spin a bit as I blinked to myself, confused as to what was happened when my vision finally faded out from assumed blood loss or the hard hit to the head from falling.

That cliff hanger tho. Yeah, I don't know I really like cliff hangers to mess with people, and I just wanted it to be all angst like with the ending, which is the point of this story to be honest, just having fun while torturing this poor guy I've made up, and watch him slowly overcome it all, or fail, honestly it could go either way, I mean there's enough foreshadowing for both. Anyway, I'm going to do a fun little sneaky thing and might add in some other POVs next chapter, I don't do it often, in fact only recently I've started doing it at all in one of my other stories, but I think it might work for a bit of exposition so I'll see what I think by the time I start writing the next chapter. See ya.
