The Slime and the Math Teacher
Mom: So Kazuto, are you enjoying your time in Yokai Academy?
Kazuto: Yeah, I think I'm doing okay here.
Ya know ever since they installed phones here at the academy that allowed us to call our families in the human world all of the students have taken full advantage of them. I myself am no different as I decided to call home regularly to check up on my mom and dad.
Mom: I'm glad to hear you're having a good time, those letters you've been writing make it sound like your getting into all sorts of new things. Although your father and I really wish you wouldn't get into so many fights.
Now I regretted getting into so much detail about what's been going on. I thought it was better than glossing over the situation if I just told them the truth, especially since my mom was always good at telling whenever I was holding back something.
Kazuto: Yeah sorry if I made you two worry. Believe me I never intended to get into any fights but it's just how things turned out.
Mom: Yeah your father and I figured that was the case. You've always been caring when it came to others, I'm glad to see you haven't changed since then. Now onto the bigger subject, how are your girlfriends doing? Any future daughter or daughters in law we should know about?
Even on my end I could tell she was smirking at me. If I were home right now I know she and my dad would constantly annoy me about this until I told them what they wanted to know. Sometimes it seems like they're still in high school with how they behave.
Kazuto: ( sigh ) I had a feeling you or dad were going to ask me that. Mom it's not like that, they're just friends.
Mom: Oh sure they are~. That's not the impression we got from those letters you sent us.
Seriously it wasn't like that, at least I thought it wasn't. Okay sure I got along with the girls really well, especially Moka. Actually I really, really got along well with Moka. It wasn't just the fact that she was incredibly beautiful, she was also one of the nicest people I have ever met. Plus there was something about her, I couldn't explain it but somehow there was a connection between us. I don't think that connection had anything to do with her constantly sucking my blood, or the fact we knew each other's monster identity, but it was there all the same. I do care about the girls, but when it came to Moka she was different, she was special.
Kazuto: Even if you're right what chance do I have that I would be good enough for any of them?
Mom: Kazuto Tempest, if there's one thing in this world you are it's good. If anyone says otherwise you can send them to me. Just have faith in yourself, your father and I taught you that much.
As we finished up our conversation I had a lot to think about. On my way back to my dorm I kept replaying what my mom told me about the girls.
Kazuto: ( Well at least it sounds like mom and dad are okay with the idea of me having a girlfriend. Actually from what mom told me they're okay with me having multiple girlfriends. )
I stopped right outside the dormitory as I just realized something.
Kazuto: HAVE I ACTUALLY BEEN BUILDING A HAREM THIS WHOLE TIME?!?!
I can't believe I was this dense, how did I not see this sooner. To be fair all these incidents have been getting in the way so I guess I shouldn't be too hard on myself.
Kazuto: Now I know how those anime protagonists must have felt. Just really wished I wasn't as dense as most of them.
Now that I realized what was going on I really couldn't stop thinking about it. All night my thoughts kept returning to that subject, I tossed and turned without any luck of getting enough sleep and the next morning I had to suffer the consequences. I was in the middle of math class trying to focus on the lesson but I was having a difficult time keeping up. Normally I try to pay attention in math as much as I can since it's not my best subject, but because of my lack of sleep from last night I had it tougher than I already do.
Ms. Ririko: Mr. Tempest.
Kazuto: Uh yes Ma'am!?
Ms. Ririko: Solve the problem on the board.
I took a quick look at the problem she asked me to answer and my brain immediately shut down. We began to get into the more difficult lessons and it took everything I had just to keep up, and it's not like I can ask Great Sage to just tell me the answer. I know you're probably thinking why couldn't I just ask Great Sage to tell me since it's one of my skills, the reason why is because it's developed a slight personality of its own and it refuses to just tell me stuff like this. When it comes to studying it's more than happy to help out, it's like having my own personal tutor at all times, but I can't just go through life just expecting to get answers whenever I desire unless I was in a dangerous situation, so as of right now I'm on my own. Unfortunately.
Kazuto: S-Sorry, I don't know how.
When the other students started laughing at me it just made me more humiliated than I was already. Some of them actually called me an idiot and that got others to laugh even harder.
Kazuto: ( This is so embarrassing. I should have just stayed in bed today. )
While I was busy with my self loathing I didn't notice Ms. Ririko walk up to me. When I did I got uncomfortable with how close she was to me, mostly because she dresses up in a way that leaves very little to the imagination.
Ms. Ririko: You're such a bad boy Kazuto. If you zone out like that again I will have to punish you.
Her way of speaking also made me rather uncomfortable as well, seriously how did someone like her become a teacher in the first place?
Ms. Ririko: Don't forget that we're close to finals, so I would advise you pay extra attention during class.
Kazuto: Wait the finals!? Oh crap I totally forgot about that!!!!
How could I forget something so important! This is really bad, if I don't shape up now there's a good chance I can fail the exam. Once school was over for the day I asked Moka to join me up on the school roof since I wanted to ask her for a favor.
Moka: Wait you want me to tutor you in math?
I know I said that I could have Great Sage help me when it came to studying, but I personally didn't want to become overly reliant on my skill all the time. Plus I need to socially interact with other people or else I might end up becoming a shut in.
Kazuto: I do, with all the insane mix ups I keep getting dragged in it's become almost impossible to get any proper studying done. I know this is a lot to ask but I could really use your help Moka.
Moka: Well if you really need my help I'd be more than happy to do what I can.
Kazuto: Really, thanks Moka you're a life saver!
In all honesty I thought she would be more focused on getting her own studying done since the final exams are a big deal. I was definitely going to find a way to repay her for this.
Moka: Of course. And... since we're going to do this... would you like to do it in my room?
Kazuto: Huh?
Moka: The two of us are going to need a quiet place to study. If we do it in my room I can help you with math and anything else you might need grasping.
Kazuto: ( Anything else! I know she's talking about school work but after hearing her say it like that with that blush on her face I'm pretty sure we won't get any studying done. I'm mostly going to keep myself from suffering a nervous breakdown! )
I was brought out of my moment of panic when Moka wrapped her arms around my neck as she gave me warm smile.
Moka: Kazuto I promise to do everything I can to help you out. I know that you'll pass the finals.
Kazuto: Thanks Moka, I really appreciate it.
Moka: Of course, after all I...
Now it was my turn to blush, my heart rate began to speed up as I thought Moka was going to confess to me.
Kazuto: ( Is she actually going to say it? Am I ready for something like this? )
Maybe mom was right, maybe Moka cares about me more than I realize. But what about my promise from 10 years ago, should I let that go after all this time? I then felt her fangs pierce my neck as she began to drink from me again.
Moka: ... I can always count on you to let me suck your blood.
Probably should have seen that coming. Well at least she agreed to help me so this wasn't a total loss, just as we were about to head back Kurumu then rushed through the door and judging by her expression she had something on her mind.
Kurumu: Hang on a moment, no way am I going to let Moka have you all to herself!
Kazuto: Uh Kurumu how long where you eavesdropping on us?
Kurumu: That's not important. What is important is that I payed extra attention in class today so if you should be studying with anyone it should be me. Once we're done with math we can move on to anatomy, so what do you say Kazuto~.
Yukari: Oh no you don't!
Suddenly Yukari came crashing on top of Kurumu with her broomstick.
Kazuto: ( That looked like it hurt. )
Yukari: If you need a study buddy for math you can come to me anytime. I know everything when it comes to mathematics and with the finals coming up you need the best tutoring possible so what do you say.
Mizore: Speaking of helping.
I was wondering when Mizore would make an appearance. She just showed up out of nowhere and scared the daylights out of both Yukari and Kurumu who just recovered from the crash earlier.
Mizore: I'm in the same boat since I missed a lot of school, so is it okay if I study with you guys?
Yukari/Kurumu: Um yeah, sure.
I did not expect things to get like this, and while I admit that I would prefer to study alone with Moka I really needed the help.
Kazuto: Hey Moka, what do you think about making our private study session into a group one instead?
Moka: I actually think it's a great idea. So what do you girls think should we start hitting the books?
Kurumu/Yukari: Yeah!
Mizore: Mhm.
Thankfully because the final exams were only a few days away all club activities have been called off so the students could take the time to prepare for them. We decided to study in the club room as Yukari made a chalk board appear from thin air and began writing some equations on the board. As she was going over the material both Moka and I payed extra close attention to Yukari as she took the time to explain the formulas as carefully as possible while providing examples on how to solve each one. Kurumu was doing pretty well following along at the beginning, but it wasn't long until she got completely lost and now I don't think she understands what's being explained anymore. As for Mizore...
Mizore: ( muttering ) Kazuto Tempest, Kazuto Tempest, Kazuto Tempest...
She actually spent the whole time just writing my name over and over again in her notebook. After a solid hour and a half of studying we decided to take a short break.
Moka: So Kazuto, do you think you're starting to understand how to solve these kinds of problems?
Kazuto: I think I am. I really do appreciate you helping me out. Seriously Moka thank you.
Moka: Aww it's nothing. I'm just happy to help.
Kurumu: Well it's great you two understand but I still don't! Kazuto will you please be my special private math tutor!
While Yukari tried to pry Kurumu off me and go over the material with her again I glanced at Moka's notebook and I couldn't help but admire how she wrote down her notes.
Kazuto: Wow, you're incredible Moka.
Moka: What do you mean?
Kazuto: It's just your notes. These must be some of the most thorough notes I've ever seen. Your handwriting is neat, they're easy to follow and everything is organized by topic. No wonder you get such good grades.
Moka: Kazuto stop it you're embarrassing me. If you want I would be more than happy to copy my notes for you.
Kazuto: N-No I couldn't ask you to do that. I already asked for so much when I wanted you to tutor me, besides I'm sure you still need to get your own studying done as well.
Moka: I don't really mind, you're my friend Kazuto. I would do anything for you.
After a few more hours we all finished up our study session for the day, Moka and I went over to our lockers before we headed back to the dorms to rest up for the night.
Kazuto: Man I'm beat, I honestly can't remember the last time I studied this hard for a test.
Moka: I know what you mean, but it's all worth it if you learned something from this.
Ms. Ririko: Now this is a surprise. I thought you already left for the day.
We then saw Ms. Ririko walk over to us, for some reason she seemed a little annoyed.
Ms. Ririko: I thought you two would be studying by now. Or were the two of you taking care of some club business?
Kazuto: Actually we were just finishing up a group study session.
Ms. Ririko: A study session? Well I have to say I'm actually quite disappointed.
Kazuto/Moka: Huh?
Ms. Ririko: Well it is nice to hear that you're putting in the effort, but whenever students get together they often mess around rather than focus on the material.
Kazuto: But we didn't mess around.
Moka: It's true. We spent the last few hours working very hard. Kazuto was even starting to understand the lessons and...
Ms. Ririko: I highly doubt that. You're just a student Miss Akashiya, you are not a teacher.
We weren't expecting her to behave like this, it was as if she had almost no faith in us learning this kind of stuff on our own and that she was one of the only people who were qualified to do so. I also wasn't expecting her to suddenly grab me by my face and suddenly push me into her breasts.
Ms. Ririko: Teaching is something that is to be left to professional educators. Which is why starting tomorrow I will personally tutor young Kazuto myself.
I struggled to look up and when I did I saw her face turn red and she started to breathe a bit heavily.
Ms. Ririko: You'll never forget the lessons I'll teach you, I'm already looking forward to it. I. Can't. Wait~.
( Timeskip- Next Day )
After another day of school it was almost time for me to head off to my tutoring session with Ms. Ririko. I was definitely not looking forward to it, especially since I kept getting weird vibes from her. Right now I was in the club room with the others just trying to enjoy some peace and quiet before I had to head out.
Kazuto: ( sigh ) I am so not ready for this.
Kurumu: You're talking about getting tutored by Ms. Ririko right. I actually talked to some of the older students about her and from what they told me she gets so into teaching her students that sometimes she goes overboard.
Kazuto: I really didn't need to hear that. Anything else I should know?
Kurumu: Well there are two more things, but whenever I think about it I end up getting so mad. All the boys won't stop staring at her tits!
Moka: Wait really?
I noticed that Moka began looking towards her own chest, I quickly looked away since I didn't want another misunderstanding like before and get labeled a pervert again.
Yukari: Aww are you jealous that your own massive honkers aren't as big as hers? You're acting like a child Kurumu.
Kurumu: Well actually Yukari, the only child here is you. And the proof is in your flat as a pancake chest!
Yukari: I'd rather have mine than your big fat balloons!
Kazuto: ( Is there any particular reason why Yukari is fondling Kurumu right now? )
Kurumu: Mine are big, but what makes them really nice is how squeezable they are, unlike yours. Isn't that right Kazuto.
Kazuto: No comment.
Yukari: You're so superficial, guys like Kazuto prefer mine because they offer quality over quantity and they're all wrapped up in a cute tiny package.
Kurumu: Yeah, they're still flat as a board though.
Yukari: ( gasp ) YOU SHUT UP MISS MILK COW!!!!
Kurumu: WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME LITTLE MISS FLATTY FLAT CHEST!!!!
Honestly I would prefer to just stay here with the girls and dealing with all this chaos rather than having to go for tutoring, but I had no say in the matter.
Moka: Hey Kazuto, I know that you're not looking forward to these tutoring sessions, but in the end it's still better than to possibly take make up classes afterwards.
Yukari: Moka's right, if you end up scoring a 50 or below you'll have to take intensive remedial classes before they let you out for summer break.
When I heard those two words it was if a light was turned on inside my head. With all the craziness I had to deal with it had completely slipped mind what was just over the horizon.
Moka: Kazuto are you okay?
Kazuto: I can't believe I almost forgot.
Kurumu: Forgot what?
Kazuto: It's finally summer break once finals are done!
Sun! Sand! Surf! All the things that make summer worth living is within my grasp, and best of all this time I actually have friends that I can spend time with and have some fun.
Kazuto: I'm gonna do it! I'll work as hard as I can to pass the finals! And when all is said and done we can all spend summer break together!
Moka: Kazuto that's a great idea! We can spend the summer together and have some fun.
Kurumu: Sorry Moka, but Kazuto and I are going to be spending our time at the beach playing with some beach balls!
That's when Kurumu started hugging me tight again from behind as Yukari began to hug me around my waist.
Yukari: Nuh uh, he's going to be having a deliciously sweet summer romance with me~.
I then felt a tap on my shoulder as I turned to see Mizore with a bowl of shaved ice in her hands.
Mizore: He'll be sharing a snow cone with me as we watch the sun rise.
After saying my goodbyes I then made my way to my tutoring session with Ms. Ririko, despite the fact I was not looking forward to doing this I had to suck it up if I wanted to spend my summer break with the girls. It wasn't long until I arrived at my destination, I took a deep breath and prepared for whatever was behind this door.
Kazuto: Hello, I'm Kazuto Tempest from class 1-3. I came here for tutoring with Ms. Ririko.
When I entered the room it was completely dark except for the little bit of light that was being produced by the candles around the various tables, it gave the room the feeling of being inside a dungeon.
Ms. Ririko: I've been expecting you Kazuto.
From out of the shadows came Ms. Ririko, what happened next made me question whether or not I was actually ready for this. Remember when I said that her way of dressing left little to the imagination, well now it left very, VERY little to the imagination! She basically had the same outfit she normally has except she ditched the white shirt she normally had on and instead her top was barely covered by her leather bra.
Kazuto: WHY THE HELL ARE YOU DRESSED IN AN OUTFIT LIKE THAT!?!?!?
Ms. Ririko: I just thought it would help you get up, to give you the motivation to study hard.
Kazuto: Are you insane!? The only thing that outfit will do is motivate me to have crazy fantasies! This is just wrong, you're my teacher for crying out loud!
Just then I felt the familiar sensation of something hitting me, since Pain Nullification blocked out the actual pain I just felt a tap on my face. Looking at Ms. Ririko I noticed a whip in her hands as she walked closer to me.
Ms. Ririko: Wrong? I don't find this wrong at all. But you are right I am your teacher, and the teacher must be treated with upmost respect while the student is the submissive slave that bends to their will.
I really needed to find a way out of here, as I tried searching for one I failed to notice her lower half transform into a large serpent tail as it snuck around behind me.
Ms. Ririko: Now why don't we get started, I should warn you that my lessons can get quite intensive.
Suddenly something had forcefully attached itself to my head as a surge of electricity began to shock me, the only noise from that point on were my screams of pain.

( Ms. Ririko's pov )
That was much easier than I had expected, I guess Mr. Tempest was in need of educational guidance more than I had originally thought. After I gave him a strong dose of my electricity he simply stood still as his head dropped. He looked so peaceful now that his only thoughts were going to be about all the wonderful things I was going to teach him. Just the thought of that gave me a rush as my body grew hotter and hotter~.
Ms. Ririko: Now then, let's begin today's lesson. You better be prepared because we will go all night long~.
As I carefully approached him to caress his young face he suddenly grabbed my hand before I could reach him.
Ms. Ririko: Impossible! How can you move without my say so? I didn't give you permission to move!
( Kazuto's pov )
Did you guys honestly think that would work on me? Psych! I admit I was caught off guard for a sec but there was no way I was going to just stand there and let her have her way with me.
Kazuto: Pain Nullification.
Ms. Ririko: What?
Kazuto: Electrical Resistance, Mental Manipulation Resistance. Physical Attack Resistance.
The grip I had on her hand began to tighten as I used my free hand to grab her tail and yank it off my head.
Kazuto: Sorry to tell you teach, but it looks like we just aren't going to be a good match for one another. My skills pretty much make your feeble attempts at teaching me a few things a complete waste of time.
She was starting to get really pissed at me, so much so that she attacked me with her tail. I let go of her and blocked the attack with my arms using Body Armor as the hit knocked me through the wall and outside the school building. As I hit the ground I looked up to see Ms. Ririko jumping after me, when I got a good look at her I noticed that the end of her tail opened up kind of like a flower as the appendage began coursing with electricity.
Ms. Ririko: It would seem that you are beyond educating, in that case allow me to offer you a different lesson. One that I can assure you will be your last one!
She then tried attacking me with her tail again in a series of fast swings, trees fell as I dodged her attacks as the force behind her strikes was too much for them.
Kazuto: ( Man this woman is crazy, is she seriously doing this all for the sake of education? If so than she's nuttier than a fruit cake. )
Ms. Ririko: Hold still so that I can firmly discipline you!
She charged her tail with electricity again as she held my arm in a firm grip, while the electricity didn't hurt me her grip was another matter, it held onto me rather tightly and she then threw me into some of the tombstones that were found around the school. Before I could get up she grabbed me by the face with her tail and tried shocking me again.
Ms. Ririko: I don't care how resistant you are, I'll keep pumping you full of my knowledge until you submit to- AUGHHHHH!
She was suddenly blasted off of me as my hand began to surge with electricity. When she had me pinned down I tried to see if I could channel the electricity she produced hoping that I could turn her own power against her. As luck would have it I succeeded.
Great Sage: Notice: you have now gained the skill Electricity Manipulation.
I looked down at my hand as I stood back up, the electricity from before was successfully channeled into my hand. The crackling energy I had just gotten was then infused with my magic as it began to turn black.
Kazuto: Nice, now let's try this again.
She then slithered her way to me and tried to grab me but I was quick on my feet and avoided her attempts easily by shooting my own electricity back at her, every time she tried to use her own I simply used it for myself and gave it a little boost from my magic to deal some damage. Just as I finally put some distance between us she then burrowed underground to try and get the jump on me.
Kazuto: ( Smart move, now she has the chance to ambush me from below. Great Sage help me out here. )
Great Sage: Affirmative.
I closed my eyes as I allowed Great Sage to determine my next move. I stood still to calm my heart as well as listen to my surroundings, it was quiet for the most part except for the wind gently blowing through the trees. Suddenly I heard something from underneath me, it was muffled by the dirt so I couldn't tell exactly from where it was coming from but I had faith that my partner wouldn't let me down.
Great Sage: Alert: Ms. Ririko is about to attack from your right exactly 10 feet away from you.
Just as Great Sage predicted Ms. Ririko dug out of the ground exactly where they said, she charged at me with this hungry look in her eyes. I turned to face her as I focused my magic into my left hand, just as we were about to meet I hit her in the face as hard as I could and to my shock I sent her flying through the trees faster and much, much further than I have ever done before. All the trees in her way snapped like toothpicks as she was no longer in sight. I just stood there dumbfounded by what I just did.
Kazuto: Uh Great Sage, what just happened?
Great Sage: Answer: it is the result of your newly awakened skills. Steel Body and Strengthen Body. Steel Body when in use enhances your muscular strength, Strengthen Body enhances your overall body. These skills most likely awakened due to repeated battles.
Kazuto: So you're telling me that when I used my magic earlier to enhance my attack I was already putting an incredible amount of strength so I ended up using too much power?
Great Sage: Correct.
I realized that I might have accidentally killed my teacher with that last attack so I started running after her hoping she was simply knocked out. It took a few minutes but eventually I made it to where she landed, but when I got there she was no where to be found. I tried looking for her but it looked like she got away. With nothing else to do I went back to the classroom to pick up my bag and then headed for my dorm room. That whole ordeal left me tired so I took a quick shower to help me relax a bit, once I was done I decided to study just a bit before dinner.
Kazuto: Hey Great Sage, you got a minute?
Great Sage: Of course.
Kazuto: Remember when I tested out the skill Degenerate with my thread skills, well I was wondering if you can use it for some of my other skills. I have a feeling that some of my current skills might not be enough for some reason, so it would probably be a good idea to see if we can get me some stronger abilities if possible.
Great Sage: It is possible, however some of your skills might be lost due to the process. Analysis suggests that only four of your current skills can be fused at this time. Would you still like to continue?
Only four of my skills could be used right now? I was hoping for more than that but I guess it was better than nothing.
Kazuto: Go ahead Great Sage, activate Degenerate.
Great Sage: Understood. Notice: the Mimic ability of your unique skill Predator has been fused with slime's inherent skills Dissolve, Absorb, and Self Regeneration.
Kazuto: So my species skills now have Mimic imbued into them, awesome!
Great Sage: Furthermore all three species skills can be combined, would you like to use Degenerate?
Kazuto: Yes.
Great Sage: Understood. Species skills have been successfully combined into the new skill Ultraspeed Regeneration. Mimic has also remained with this new skill.
So now I have better regeneration, that's a relief at least. It would suck if I lost that, it would be like fighting a powerful boss in an RPG without having a healer on your team or healing items in your inventory. Besides I also gained three new skills today so I really shouldn't be complaining in the first place. After dinner I got ready for bed, I was wondering what would happen tomorrow when I got to math class, if a fight broke out I had to be prepared for the worst.
The next day I went to school while constantly looking over my shoulder. I knew Great Sage wasn't about to let me get blindsided but I was still nervous overall. Once I got inside I spotted Moka waiting for me in the hallway, when she saw me she ran over and hugged me.
Moka: Good morning Kazuto. Hey what's wrong you seem really tense for some reason.
Kazuto: Let's just say that the tutoring session from yesterday didn't exactly go as planned.
As we walked to class I explained the situation to her, she was scared to learn about how Ms. Ririko basically went nuts and after we made it to class we explained the same story to Kurumu and Mizore. As the day went on we met up with Yukari during lunch to bring her up to speed, afterwards it was time for math class. Walking inside I braced myself for the worst, when I got a good look inside I noticed that a lot of the students were missing, even after the bell rang the missing students never showed up and neither did Ms. Ririko.
Kazuto: Where is everybody?
Moka: Not sure, maybe they're all out sick or something?
Kurumu: Or they decided to just skip class.
Mizore: Yeah but this many people at once, that doesn't seem right. Even the teacher isn't here today.
As time moved on we were still without a teacher so we just spent the whole time just talking with one another, well everyone was while I took the opportunity to keep studying.
Moka: Hey Kazuto, I almost forgot to give you this earlier.
She reached into her bag as she pulled out a notebook and handed it to me.
Moka: I know that Ms. Ririko may not approve of me helping you prepare for the math final, but even so I still want to do all that I can to help you get through this. So I copied my notes for you by hand and put them all in this notebook for you, it's not much but I hope you find them useful.
I forgot that she offered to do that, I was very touched by the fact she took the time to do this for me.
Kazuto: Thank you, I promise to put them to good use.
As I took the notebook our hands briefly touched each others, we quickly looked away as we both blushed a little from it. After classes ended for the day me and the girls decided to head to the club room for some more studying, all except for Moka who was asked by Ms. Nekonome to deliver some papers to another classroom, as we were close to our destination we suddenly heard the sounds of several footsteps following us. As they continued to grow closer and closer we were suddenly surrounded by some of the students, we took notice of the blank look in their eyes as they approached us like zombies.
Yukari: What's with these guys, they're kind of freaking me out right now.
Mizore: Something is definitely wrong here, it feels like they've been waiting for us this whole time.
Ms. Ririko: We have, and I believe it was worth the wait.
From within the crowd we saw Ms. Ririko slithering towards us as the students surrounded us even more, we were completely trapped as it looked like the only way out was by fighting.
Ms. Ririko: As you can see these boys and girls have been given a rather thorough study session by me, and I think it's time to show you just how effective my teaching methods are.
All the students then changed into their various monster forms, from within the crowd Ms. Ririko was guarded by some of the students as others began attacking us. Kurumu spread her wings as she took care of the students that could fly while Yukari and Mizore worked together to keep the crowd of students from overwhelming us by attacking with washtubs and keeping them away with walls of solid ice. I stuck to using my threads to bind as many students as possible.
Kazuto: Remember that these guys are under Ms. Ririko's control, try not to hurt them too much if you can help it!
Kurumu: That's gonna be a little tough, it looks like they have no problems hurting us as much as possible!
Yukari: I'm open to any suggestions if anyone has one! I'll even take one from Kurumu if she has one!
Kurumu: Hey!
Mizore: Too bad Moka isn't here right now, if she was we could just have Kazuto remover her rosary and release her power.
Ms. Ririko: Oh are you talking about this little tramp right here?
From where I was standing I saw Moka being held by Ms. Ririko's tail, her body was covered in electrical burns and she was barely conscious.
Ms. Ririko: Students like her have no place at this academy, so I will take great pleasure in making sure she's severely punished!
She then used her electricity to hurt her as more students appeared from the trees. The numbers weren't working on our favor, we needed to free Moka's power if we wanted a chance at making it through this.
Kazuto: ( Great Sage, any ideas? )
Great Sage: Answer: utilizing the skill Vampirism you can drink from the individual Kurumu in order to obtain the ability of a Succubus to create illusions to stop the enemy for a short time.
Kazuto: ( Sounds good. ) Kurumu I need you for a favor! Mizore create an ice wall around us!
As Mizore created her ice wall I walked up to Kurumu and explained my plan to her, she was a little hesitant but agreed to help. She allowed me to drink from her as I felt the effects of her blood beginning to flow through me. Using a sudden surge of magical power I shattered the ice wall as the blood from Kurumu had temporarily made me an Incubus.
Kazuto: Time to test out my new skills.
I walked to the center of the crowd as I did my best to use my enhanced charms, I honestly had no idea what I was doing so I just copied a cool pose from an anime hoping it would work.
Kazuto: ( I feel so stupid right now, no way is this going to work. )
Girls: WE LOVE YOU KAZUTO!!!!
On second thought it actually worked. Guess I shouldn't underestimate the charms of an Incubus. As the girls all had hearts in their eyes ( including Moka, Kurumu, Yukari, and Mizore ) I used the illusion abilities and enhanced them with my magic to knock out the students quickly leaving us with just Ms. Ririko as the last enemy standing.
Kazuto: Now teach, are you going to let Moka go or am I going to have to come over there and beat you senseless for hurting my friend?
Ms. Ririko: How dare you. HOW DARE YOU MOCK MY SKILLS AS A TEACHER! I WILL NOT BE MADE A FOOL BY THE LIKES OF YOU!!!!
As she began to lose it I created the illusion of her back in the classroom in her human form. She looked around as the students were diligently studying. All was calm, all was peaceful, exactly the way she wanted it. Suddenly the students began to fade, one by one until she was all alone, after which her world dissolved into darkness. When she could see again she noticed that not only was Moka free from her but that she had changed into her true self and was ready to get some payback.
Ms. Ririko: What happened? What did you do to me?!
Kazuto: While I had you trapped in an illusion we were able to get Moka away from you and give her one of my healing potions to undo the damage you gave her.
Inner Moka: We also took the time to heal up your little army of students and send them back to get some rest. Now all that's left is for me to kick your ass for what you put me through.
Ms. Ririko: It looks like my attempts to firmly educate you weren't enough! I guess all of you are just unable to grasp the sort of guidance I've been entrusted with giving you!
Inner Moka: You call what you do educational guidance? Don't make me laugh.
Ms. Ririko: What, how dare you! I'm a teacher!
Inner Moka: No you're just a poor excuse for one. All you are is a small minded narcissist, you always hammer the importance of learning into others so all me to return the favor and teach you your place.
In just a matter of seconds Moka avoided all of our teachers attacks and delivered a powerful kick that sent her flying up high before crashing back down.
Inner Moka: Had enough?
Ms. Ririko: Yes and I appreciate the guidance you have given me.
Suddenly her whole body was encased in ice, we all looked towards Mizore is she simply shrugged at us with a smile on her face.
Mizore: What can I say, sometimes I just don't know how to hold back.
A few days later after that whole ordeal it was time to begin our final exams. Even though I received lots of help from my friends I was still nervous that I wasn't going to pass, in the end I settled for trying my best and hope that it was enough.
Moka: So Kazuto how do you think you did on the final?
Kazuto: Hopefully well enough, but whatever I get at least I have no regrets.
Moka: How come?
I then reached into my bag and pulled out the notebook Moka gave me.
Kazuto: Because I studied with all of you, and the notes you gave me were a really big help. Honestly Moka I can't thank you enough for your help.
Moka: Kazuto!
She then went on to suck my blood again as I tried to stop her since I still had a few more exams that day.
Two days later and we got our results, our next adventure would take place during our summer break.
Great Sage: Results: Kazuto received a score of 80 and Moka received a score of 95 on their final exams.
( Meanwhile )
Kurumu: ( sobbing ) But I tried so hard!
Great Sage: Results: Kurumu received a score of 35 on her final exam.
Yukari: ( sigh ) And after all that tutoringI gave her.
Great Sage: Results: Yukari received a score of 100 on her final exam.
Mizore: ( I did it.)
Great Sage: Results: Mizore received a score of 59 on her final exam.
