*Chapter 11*
Dean glimpsed up, disappointed in himself, for not at least getting the scum.
Sam was the first to spoke, "We'll get him. Don't worry about it, Dean."
"It's okay, Dean. Barton hasn't seen the last of us!" Missy added.
Dean looked at them, both beamed back at him. He noticed how comfortable Dalton was in his Uncle's big arms. Then, he remembered the certain object he had with him, that he wanted Missy to have.
"Missy? Would you?" Dean asked, in mid sentence and kneel beside the bed. He presented a ring to her.
"YES! Oh, Dean! YES!" Missy exclaimed happy.
Few days passed, Missy moved the ring with her middle finger, without realizing it. She glanced at it's marvelous beauty of a sparking diamond shape, and wrapped designed that was placed on a white golden band.
Missy had escaped into daydreaming state, until the burning of the Hamburger Helper snapped her out if it. The meal had began to stick to the bottom of the pan, making a mess.
"GET A GRIP, MISSY! The boys can't eat rubber for supper." Missy scorned herself out-loud.
After the food was done and the stove was off. Missy once again admire her beautiful ring. They had decided to wait on setting the date. Neither one was in a hurry to get married, not now anyways. But Missy had told Dean that she wanted a nice wedding, when the time was right, but not anytime soon.
Missy didn't need a piece of paper to tell her heart who it belong to. The ring and being married was just a bonus. Right now, they would have to wait and see what the future holds. She giggled at the reaction Dean had when she asked how did he afford the ring. He merely shrugged as it was his little secret. She guessed he won it in that poker game he was in. Dean had let it slipped, while back when he talked about an case about a poker game he won. Missy didn't mind, she loved Dean and he loved her. She hurried at the task at hand, the boys would be back soon and hungry.
Everyone was seated down at the dinner table, where the food that Missy prepared was self-served.
"This is reall-really good," commented Sam in a mouthful.
"Mmm. It is." Dean added, also his mouth full. He then took a slip of his cold beer.
"I'm glad y'all like it." Missy replied, as she purified the baby's food.
Dalton had grown much faster than normal humans. Missy ensured them that this was normal giving his "sea" traits. She mentioned that it should stop when he turns nine or ten years old.
The boys nodded, and Sam asked, " How did you find out?"
"Well...I had heard about it from a few mermaids that their human mates refused them. It left them to raised the babies as merfolks. These mermaids had discussed about what their little ones had done, like the children's abilities to rapid grow and so on. The sea doctor assured them that this was normal and not to fret.
"Is it forbidden?"
"It is. However, some took matters in their own hands and others. Well, it was merely a oops."
The Winchester just nodded.
After Dalton had ate, Missy got her something to eat. She seated in between Dean and Dalton, who was in his high chair playing with his toys on the tray. The boys had went back for seconds, which Missy didn't mind. It just meant her cooking was excellent.
"So, I seen a small and abandon building that would be perfect for bakery shop." Missy hinted, excitedly.
Dean dropped his fork, loudly. Sam cleared his throat.
"What?" Missy asked, as she noticed the boys exchanged looks at one another.
Dean swallowed and curiously recited, "A bakery?"
"Yes."
"Where at?" Sam questioned.
"Just miles down the road." Missy answered.
"Sam and me will have to check it out, before anything is done with it." Dean mentioned. Then, he took a swig of his drink.
"Yeah, gotta make all the creeps are protected from big bad Missy." Sam joked
"Poor creatures!"
"Guys!" Missy declared, displeased and rolled her eyes.
The boys chuckled, while in a cute laughter Dalton joined them.
"We can do this! And it can pay for it self. I even thought of a color scheme and a name. M and D's Sweet Shop."
"M and D's?" Dean asked.
"Oh! I get it," Sam rendered.
"Why our initials? Catchy though," Dean wondered.
"Why not? You be eating what didn't sell that day, or the extras, especially the pies.
"PIES!" Dean responded.
"I thought you might like that idea. I'm even working on a sweet menu. I have also consider a salty one, too. I have to remember to include allergies ."
"Wow!" Sam commented.
"I can't wait to have pie, free pie." Dean spoke, happily.
Sam slightly giggled at his brother's action. He went to get Dalton out of the high chair.
"Come on, Dalton, let's you and me go play with these blocks. What da ya say, big fella." Dalton just mumbled something back and Sam agreed with him. It was a sweet moment.
"He's growing so fast!" Missy acknowledged, then got up to do the dishes.
"Yeah." Dean replied, sadly.
"Dean, he won't try to kill you. Not like...When he's a teenager he might say he hates you, or he doesn't care about us, but he'll say that to me, too." Missy indicated.
"I know. I just worry." Dean admitted.
Missy smiled at him and then she turned back to the dishes in the sink. Dean raised up and wrapped his arms around her, which made her ceased her movement. He gave her a deep hug and sighed.
Missy took both hands and placed them onto Dean's.
"Things will be alright," she said in comfort.
"Sure hope so," he answered back. Although, Dean's thoughts were somewhere else.
The next day had went good. They all had agenda's to do. Dean always made sure there was two vehicles at the Bunker tuned up and ready to go.
Dean and Sam had to be out of town for a case that needed taken care of. It wasn't nothing big, just the salt 'n' burn ordeal. Dean told Missy they be back tomorrow; if things went smoothly. He also told her to keep in touch and let him know about the building situation.
Missy held Dalton in her arms as she walked towards Dean's other care. The spare-other car was a 1967 Shelby Cobra style Mustang. The Tang wasn't baby, but her black glossy and two orange race stripes made her just as beautiful.
Dean took hold of Dalton and hugged him and give him a kiss, and then fastened him in his car seat.
"Be good for mommy. Daddy and Uncle Sammy has to go take care of something. We be right back." Dean said and went to Missy.
"You two be careful!" She spoke sternly.
"We do our best." Sam called back, as he shut the Impala's trunk and coming to give Dalton a kiss on top of his head, then took a seat in the Impala.
Dean bent down to give Missy a passionate kiss. To hurry them along, Sam honked the horn at them; the two laughed.
"You also be careful." Dean stated, as he made his way to the Impala and close the door.
"Will do."
With that, they was into their cars and took off, going in different opposite directions.
Missy and Dalton had made it back with good news. She -they was an owner of that shop. Yes, a lot of things needed to be done. Just the basics electric, painting-cleaning, and so on.
'The news could wait until they got back I supposed' Missy thought to herself.
Missy was carrying Dalton in, as she told him the ideas that she had in store for the building. The boy would grinned at her. Next, she placed him down in his day pen, while she went to warm up left-overs. In mid ways, her phone went off. Missy pulled it out and answered it.
"Hello. ..It went good...Yes. I was gonna to wait...I don't know..A now? I hear ya...Alright...Yeah I will..I-"
Suddenly, Missy heard a noise. She told Dean to hold on. Dean in the background had requested, "What's going on?"
Missy put the cell phone in her pocket, then grabbed her tridents that were close to her. She got them out of the 'gear room' when the boys left. Missy quietly went towards the sound.
All of the sudden, Missy felt cold hard arms engulfed her, as she struggled. It was clear by the view of who it was.
"Now, now. Don't even think about it! It's so nice to smell you again." Barton said, as he inhaled her scent of her skin.
"UGH! You again?! How did you get in here?"
"I have my ways!" He hissed.
"Let me go!" Missy demanded.
"Not happening! I will finished what I've started!"
Missy's eyes widened, but soften. She realized her phone was still on line with Dean. She hope he heard every word.
Matter of fact, he did and now Dean had made an U-turn and was heading back to her. Sam let go of the side of the door when he seen his brother took this action.
Barton hadn't noticed her tridents in her hands. Once the gripped was loosen. Missy spin and stabbed him in the chest. She knew it wouldn't kill him, but inflicting pain into him felt so good.
"OUCH! Why you bitch!" Barton shrieked.
Missy held her other trident high as defense stance, waiting. She was distracted by Dean's yelling. 'Boy that was fast! I bet he broke every law', Missy thought.
"Oh, look he came to save his slutty princess!" Barton said, with clench teeth. He had forgot the hole in his chest as he turned."Good, he can watch as I turn you, you will my Queen!"
"Not this shit again! I'm not and won't be your damn Queen! My heart belongs to-"
Barton grasped quickly and tightly squeezed her neck.
"Listen you tramp. This is how its gonna to work. I will change you! He will observe you as you become something he has decide to whether to kill or not. Then not doing anything. He will watch you enjoy the taste of your and his bastard son's blood. You won't have no say, because the thirst will over come you. It will be such sweetness and revenge for what that bastard did to my family! An eye for an eye. In the end, I will win, because you will belong to me!" Barton announced, devilishly.
"Seriously? Get a life. Leave me the hell alone!" Missy hoarse out.
"MISSY?" Dean hollered, as he ran towards the voices.
Meanwhile, Sam had took Baby Dalton into another room and held him very closely. He had the other arm aim high in wait for any type of danger to come their way.
An evil laughter bounced throughout the Bunker, then Barton spoke.
"Oh, my plan of kidnapping almost worked. My associate, Clay was just greedy and blood thrust like me. The profits was a bonus, we would divide the money. I would tell him the where bouts of the mermaids on the shore. Their hang out spots. However, he wasn't supposed to hurt you, when he capture you." Barton stopped and in sick twisted tone added. "That was my job. Such a shame he's not around anymore."
"You have no idea how sick you are! You-" Missy was hushed by the sudden constricted of pressure that Barton inflicted to her neck.
"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Dean remarked angry. "Let her go! NOW! He demanded, as panic and fear filled him after he saw Missy's life escaping.
Well, well, well. Look who came to visit us, my Queen. The O-Mighty Dean Winchester. Finally, we meet again. I decided to come to you, since you never showed." Barton smirked.
"Leave her out of this. It's me you want. So come and get it?" Dean insisted.
"If you say so." Barton said and with that he threw Missy onto the floor, face down.
"I'm gonna to enjoy watching you bleed out." Barton remarked, as he produced a knife.
"Right back at you!" Dean commented back, as he held out his blade.
"You have escaped Death's jaws, but not this time. All that changes now! I will enjoy the reaction and pain you will endure when Missy is turn into something you have always killed with no hesitation. To witness your non-decision. The icing on the cake is when she drinks your son's blood, because the thirst will take over her. As you take your last breath that leaves your body. The last image will be is me- us leaving you alone as we take everything you ever cared about away from you!"
"Um. Yeah. I don't think so," Dean replied in disgust.
In a swift movement, he ran over and punched Barton, which he only stumbled and caught himself. Then, Dean felt a hard impact to his face. Barton had returned the blow. Dean looked up from his sitting position and shook it off. He wiped the running blood off his lip and said.
"Ain't we just a big bad of sunshine. If that's the best you got. Well, hate to tell you pal. That's nothing!" As Dean talked, he was in search for his blade, which was lost in the encounter.
"Looking for this?" Barton questioned, as he pointed to the desire object with the tip of his toe. In a sudden action, he flipped it with his foot and it went flying across the floor away from them.
"DAMN IT!" Dean yelled.
"You've met your match, Winchester!" The evil vampire spoke between the many teeth he shown.
Suddenly, Barton froze in the air, with a weird look upon his face. Dean had a puzzle expression. Next, he saw blood dripping and coming around from Barton's neck, follow by the sound of the separation of his head and neck. Once the head split from the body had fallen. There stood a beautiful sight. Missy holding the machete in a tight grip with both hands.
"Missy?" Dean asked.
"Nasty ass bastard! Ugh!" Missy glanced over at the dismember body and said, "You know if you're gonna to kill someone, kill them! Don't keep on talking. DAMN!" She announced and threw the knife down.
"Missy and Dean exchanged looks and he said, "That's my girl!"
She smiled at the compliment and asked, "You okay?"
"Never better."
"SAM? How is Dalton and you doing?" Dean queried.
"We're good. Y'all?" Sam questioned.
"We're fine."
