Crowfeather's POV

I watched as the clan stared quietly at Briarlight and Jayfeather. Leafpool and I are next, I thought. Bramblestar straightened up, "I will let you two stay until I know what to do with you but you are not allowed to return as a medicine cat Jayfeather" he meowed then he turned to me and Leafpool, "Your explanation" he demanded. I stepped forward,
"On the day you kicked Leafpool out, I found her crying on the WindClan border. She told me that Jayfeather and Briarlight were missing in twolegplace, so we decided to find them, we found them and stayed in the forest outside twolegplace" I finished. Bramblestar nodded,
"Ok well same applies for you, now I have to go think, but everybody please don't make me break up a fight, Squirrelflight can sort patrols when she returns" he meowed going back into his den.
"Well that was easier than I thought" Jayfeather grunted, crouching down, and tucking his paws under him. I sat down but kept my back straight, in a more respective posture.

Jayfeather's POV

I had no idea what use I was to the clan at this point. I could change bedding and do the elders ticks, but other than that I was completely useless, one of the downsides to being blind. I had no other use in the clan other than being a medicine cat, but since I had broken the medicine cat code I was banned from my duties. At least Leafpool could be a useful warrior, but me? I may as well be an elder. I finally picked up Squirrelflight's scent as she padded in through the thorn barrier. I stood my paws as she dropped her prey turning to us excitedly.
"When did you come back?" she purred touching noses with Leafpool, Leafpool flicked her tail.
"Sun-high" she meowed happily, "We are suspended from medicine cat duties for now, but we're allowed to stay until Bramblestar knows what to do with us" she added. Squirrelflight nodded bounding over to the high ledge she sat under it and began calling names.
"Lionblaze can you lead a hunting patrol to the old twoleg den, take Leafpool, Briarlight and Hollytuft. Thornclaw take a patrol to the WindClan border, take Sorrelstripe, Fernsong and Leafshade. The rest of you can either hunt or hang around here but I want at least two warriors here apart from myself" she finished as the cats began to move off.
"Squirrelflight, where should we sleep, I'm guessing the warriors den is full" I meowed as Squirrelflight padded back over. She began to ponder,
"Try sleeping in the apprentices den for now, do you want help freshening the moss?" she asked her voice sympathetic. I shook my head,
"No I don't have any thing to do today so I should be fine." I trotted over to the apprentices den picking the first nest and puling the old dirty moss out. Once I had done that nest, I moved to another nest, then another until I had done all of the nests. I turned to the first clump of old moss, tumbling it into a ball, I grabbed in my jaws and padded out the den.
"Jayfeather?" I heard someone mew, I turned to scent Alderheart, so I turned to walk away.
"Wait!" he squeaked, "I didn't know you were coming back! I thought you had run away!" I turned to face Alderheart dropping the moss.
"Do you really think I would leave the clan to be a kitty-pet?" I snarled, glaring with cold blind blue eyes. Alderheart flinched and dropped his head,
"I'm sorry" he murmured, "I- I-"
"You have nothing to say to me! And because of you I am useless" I growled, picking up the moss and stalking away.

Briarlight's POV

I padded into camp a mouse hanging from jaws, this was the first prey I had caught on clan territory since my accident. I dropped the mouse proudly on the prey pile then looked around to see Jayfeather bundling fresh moss into the apprentices den. I followed him in giving his cheek a loving lick, "Want some help?" I purred, as Jayfeather began spreading all the moss out. He looked up at me smiling, his blind blue eyes twinkling with affection.
"I've got it, how was hunting?" he mewed softly, spreading the moss out.
"Good" I meowed spreading some out, Jayfeather's whiskers twitched.
"I said I got it!" he chuckled, I let out a snort,
"Did I ever listen?" I mewed, my own whiskers twitching with amusement. We finished up the den then padded back out, side by side. I picked up a thrush from the prey pile and padded over to where Leafpool and Crowfeather were sharing tongues. Jayfeather sat beside me as we each took a bite from the bird.
"I want to visit WindClan to apologise to Breezepelt, we got along well, and I feel bad" Crowfeather meowed, Leafpool looked concerned, but nodded.
"Of course, just be careful, from what Squirrelflight said Nightcloud doesn't seem to accepting" she fretted. I looked over at Crowfeather,
"Are you going to try re-join them?" I asked. Crowfeather shifted,
"I would like to, but I don't think I could, and I like being with Leafpool" he added looking down at his mate. Leafpool blinked,
"what if I came with you?" she asked softly, looking at the tom with hopeful eyes. Crowfeather looked surprised but he purred licking the top of her head,
"It would be better with you beside me" he meowed.

Leafpool's POV

I looked over nervously at Jayfeather, I know he would be the first to notice but I wanted to tell Crowfeather first. "Wanna go for a walk?" I purred, trying to keep nerve from my mew.
"Uh, sure" the dark tom replied getting to his paws and following me out of camp. Once we in the forest I turned to Crowfeather, "I need to tell you something" I started nervously. Crowfeather picked up my nerves and sat down.
"What is it?" he asked gently. I took a deep breath,
"I'm expecting kits" I murmured quietly, Crowfeather seemed dazed,
"Really" he finally stuttered, I nodded quietly. "Oh Leafpool, that's- that's wonderful!" he exclaimed, I tried to focus on the positive parts, but we had only just got back to the clans, I didn't know how they would take it. I nodded slowly trying to keep the smile planted on my face, but my eyes gave me away. "Leafpool, it will be okay we'll find a way" Crowfeather murmured, wrapping around me protectively.
"Of course," I purred, but I couldn't help the sliver of fear worming into my heart. I'm so sorry kits!

Oh my goodness, its been so long! I've really been bad with this and I'm not sure if I can continue writing it but I will do my best guys.

Also you all saw it coming, she's having kits again. BOO YAH!
