Chapter 11

Seeking truth

Chris, and Ashley begin to make their way through the basement. Suddenly Chris sees something on the floor, and is a little bit creeped out by what he is seeing. What he sees is dried blood that leads to a really heavy looking door. Following the trail; Chris opens the door, and begs Ashley to come with him. However, Ashley sees something in another room, or someone.

"Ash this door is really heavy; you had better come here before the door crushes me" Chris says groaning as he is trying to keep the door open.

"Okay I'm coming" Ashley replies as she slips past Chris.

Chris, and Ashley are disgusted, and shocked by what they see in the room; everywhere there are dead pigs that appear to have already been gutted. Ashley covers her mouth; horrified by what she is seeing. Ashley starts to explore the room a bit, and finds something weird. She pulls open a drawer, and finds pictures of some of their friends; some with the eyes out.

"What on earth is going on here?!" Ashley asks in complete confusion.

"Great this is just what we need; now he has a hit list!" Chris replies a little angry at seeing this.

Chris shines the light on the floor, and finds the blood trail that leads to a chair in the middle of the next room. Both of them feeling relieved thinking they may have found Sam. Ashley turns the chair around only to see a dummy with an eyeless Freddy head.

"What does this even mean?!" Ashley again asks in confusion.

At that moment the Freddy head falls off revealing another skull there. Ashley screams upon seeing this, and grabs Chris for comfort. She starts to sob upon seeing this. "Not again Chris, not again. Who is killing these children?" Ashley sobs as Chris tries to comfort her.

As Ashley looks up at Chris, she sees someone reach behind him, and start to strangle him. Chris tries his best to fight, but is knocked unconscious. At that moment Ashley picks up the flashlight, and sees who did that to Chris. She screams when sees a man in a yellow bunny suit holding a knife. The man begins to approach her; it then Ashley remember the scissors that she found.

She then stabs the man in the shoulder; the man lets out loud angry scream of pain, and glares at Ashley.

"Arggggghhhh! No, no, no, no live and learn!" the man says as he raises his fist at Ashley, and hits her knocking her unconscious. "Live and learn.

A while later Ashley, and Chris wake up to find themselves tied to chairs with a table in the middle, and a gun on Chris's side of the table. Chris sees Ashley, and is relieved to find that she is okay, but angry when he notices something about her.

"Ash are you okay?" Chris ask upon noticing something wrong with Ashley.

"I'm fine, except he hit me" Ashley replies looking towards him weakingly.

Boiling with anger. "You hear me you psycho I'll kill you, you son of a b***!"

"Don't Chris I was probably just a waste of time to you, as I never got to tell you how felt about you" Ashley says.

"What?" Chris replies a little confused.

"I never got the chance to tell you that I've liked you all this time, and I probably never will with what is going on" Ashley says crying.

"Oh, Ashley I wanted to tell you so badly that I feel the same way for a while now. I was just so afraid" Chris admits.

"Hello my latest victims, and welcome to my latest experiment" the psycho says through the speakers.

At that point Chris, and Ashley look around afraid of what is happening.

"If you look in front of you Chris; you have a gun. Now you can take that gun, and either shoot Ashley, or you can choose to shoot yourself. You only have few seconds to decide." the psycho says as the sound of a buzzsaw goes off.

Chris, and Ash both look up, and see a pair of spinning buzzsaws coming down from the ceiling right towards them. Upon seeing this Ash begins to cry; Chris meanwhile is deciding what to do. Before he points the guns at the blades; the bullets do nothing but ricochet off the metal.

"Oh Chris that just won't work in your case" the psycho says as the blades continue to drop lower.

Chris tries to decide what to do, and he points the gun at himself.

"Now Chris don't! I don't want you to die! Please let me be the one to die for you" Ash says looking at Chris pointing the gun at himself.

Chris then points the gun away from himself, but is still deciding what to do; as the blades continue to lower. Suddenly Ashley screams, and then it fades to black.

Meanwhile in the basement Sam finds herself in the grate, and using her feet she manages to push the grate open. It is then she finds herself in creepy room; she starts to have a look around. While she is exploring the area, she comes to realize where she is, and that is she is in the lair of the yellow rabbit. Cause right there on a nearby desk; is a stuffed yellow rabbit. Curious, Sam picks up the plushie; it is then that she experiences another vision. In the vision she sees the yellow rabbit looking at her through some mascot eye holes. The person in eye holes begins to cry, and scream in pain. That is when the vision fades.

Sam upon seeing that; puts the plushie back on the table. "What in the world did I just see?" Sam thinks to herself confused as to what she just saw. She then sees a door, and tries to open it, but finds that it is locked. She then sees on the door that there is a viewing window; curious she has a peek as to what is inside. She is startled when she sees that the yellow rabbit is in there; looking at some camera monitors. Cautiously Sam moves past the door where the yellow rabbit was in; she then sees a tape recorder on the desk.

Curious Sam pushes play, and begins to hear the yellow rabbit's voice on it. "Hello boys, and girls. And, welcome to my little playground! No, no, no, that is not how I want to say it. Let's try that again" the voice on the machine says in a high-pitched voice, and then lowers to a baritone.

"What in the world is going on here?" Sam says after hearing that voice.

Sam then heads back where the grate was; it there she finds a poster for a design on something similar to the way Josh was killed. Including how to make fake blood, and guts. Disgusted by seeing that; Sam makes her way back towards the staircase that she saw. She makes her way up the stairs, and finds a set of double doors; which she opens with caution. It is then that she sees a little camera; that looks like to be positioned near an old chair. Curious she takes a look, but decides against it.

Seeing nothing Sam decides to head back to the area where she woke up; while she is heading someone reaches underneath her, and grabs her leg. Sam lets out a little yelp of freight, but calms down when she sees who it is.

"Mike?" Sam asks.

"Oh, Sam thank god it's you; a lot has been going here" Mike replies.

"What happened to you? Where's Jess?" Sam asks.

"She uh, I don't, uh" Mike replies as he tries to hold back tears. "I think someone killed her"

"Oh, my gosh, it might be the same person who was after me. Listen there is a maniac in a yellow bunny suit, and he killed Josh" Sam explain.

"Oh, man. Well he is going to really pay for what he did to Jess. Hey there is a door here I can't open; would you mind lending me a hand?" Mike asks.

"Sure, I'll help ya" Sam replies as she heads towards the door, and pick up her pack.

Sam makes it to the door, and unlocks it for Josh. The two hug; before Sam takes her pack over to some nearby shelves.

"Um, what are you doing?" Mike asks.

"Well a towel wouldn't be the best choice to wear when you are running from a killer rabbit. Do you mind Mike?" Sam explains.

"Oh, Oh! Right okay" Mike says as he turns around not looking at Sam changing into her clothes.

When Sam is all done changing that is when they hear some screaming, and crying coming from the next room. Upon hearing that Mike, and Sam rush over to the other room. It there they find Chris, and Ashley tied up to some chairs with Chris holding a gun.

"Please let us go" Ashley starts crying.

Suddenly the yellow rabbit steps out from the shadows; upon seeing that Chris opens fire. The bullets don't seem to hit him. The yellow rabbit continues to smile as he makes his way towards them.

"Oh, Chris, Chris" the yellow rabbit says.

"What?" Chris says to himself as he is confused as to why the gun didn't work on him.

"I mean you have heard of blanks before?" the yellow rabbit says as he removes his yellow head revealing that it is Josh in the costume.

Down in the mines after the firetower collapsed; Emilly find herself looking down into a chasm dangling from a rope.

"Oh my gosh!" Emily exclaims as she realizes where she is at.

It is then that she starts to look around at her surrounding; she then sees a fallen ladder. Emily starts to swing with all her might; trying to get to that ladder. She manages to make it; just as the tower collapses even further down the mine. Using the ladder; Emily manages to make it to the ground okay. Before she gets to safety; a piece of debree hits her right on the knee leaving a nasty cut. Emily looks around, and realizes before heading down the tunnel; that she needs some light.

It is then that Emily decides to rip the bottom of her shirt off. "Oh, man, and I looked so good in that top" Emily complains to herself. She then manages to find a stick, and wrap the torn part of shirt on it. Then she dips that stick into some flame, and it becomes a torch. Seeing that she now has light; Emily goes down into the tunnel.

Meanwhile on the other side of the shaft that Emily landed in; Foxy who is looking more nightmare like. Observes her, and using the wall crawls over to where she is. Careful to stay in the shadows; Foxy begins to stalk his prey. Suddenly as Emily begins to head towards the elevator; Foxy smells something. His ears begin to perk up when he hears a familiar screech inside the mineshaft, and he starts to growl because he knows what he has to do now.

Emily goes deeper into the mines, and sees a sign that points to where the elevator is. She heads that way; only to find the path blocked as it has been bordered up. Emily looks around, and gets an idea of what to do when she sees an abandoned minecart. Reluctantly she begins to make her way towards the minecart, and disengages the brake. With a loud bang the minecart manages to break through the bordered-up shaft, and Emily make her way through.

Foxy still tracking Emily; hears the sound of the minecart breaking down the barrier. But, along with the sound he hears more of the wendigos screeching. Foxy growls as he takes another route to where his prey might be hiding. Meanwhile Emily finally makes it towards the elevator, and gives the lever a bit of a jerk; only to find that nothing happens. Feeling frustrated Emily gives the elevator a few more jerks; before giving up.

"c'mon, c'mon! Son of a b***" Emily says to herself after discovering the elevator is not working.

Emily decides to check out the nearby station, and sees that there is a switch to get the elevator to work. She decides to head over to the ladder to see about reaching that switch, and she decides to climb the ladder. About halfway up; the ladder falls with her on it; Emily screams as she falls down into a hole, and tumbles to the bottom. Seeing that there is no light; Emily turns her cellphone on. Only when the light from her phone comes on; does it shine on skulls.

"Ahhhhhh! No, No, No, gross, gross, gross" Emily screams as she tries to get out of the hole.
