CHAPTER 11: OFFERING, ACCEPTING OR REJECTING?
Still confused about the humor of it all yet not really care for it, Kuroko slowly raises up till only his lower half is still submerged and walks toward land. The red-head stares in shocked at the being in front of him. Not an ounce of shame or embarrassment could be seen in the being face, only blank emotionless expression. He knows he should have said something or at least averted his eyes and yet, his heterogeneous eyes keep drawn back to the flawless milky smooth skin that still wet from the water of the lake. His eyes trail the droplet of water from the tip of the small angel's hair, down to his small button nose, to his lustful pink lips then down to his small delicate chin to his slender neck. The playful water continues downward to his flat yet soft looking chest then down to the little p… *CHIRP CHIRP* *MEROW MEROW* *WOOF WOOF* *GRRRRR GRRRR* *SQUEAK SQUEAK*
Suddenly, multiple animals' sound interrupts his 14 years old hormone worshiping the holy site before him. Various cats, dogs, deer, birds and other small animals block his view as well as bare their fangs, claws or anything that could save them from the predators to him. Enrage but not knowing at what, Akashi glares back at them making them starts to shake in fear but still stand their ground. As the glaring contest continue, a mellow voice reaches their ears
"Come one everyone, Akashi-kun isn't a bad guy so stop it."
The animals immediately back down with tail between their legs and rush back to the now dried and fully clothes Kuroko. The animals stay as close as possible to him, some even get to cuddling by him as some are being pet by him, Akashi watches the sight with rise eyebrow.
"They seem to like you a lots, Tetsuya"
"Oh! I always have a way with animals, even when I was a human."
"Is that so? Anyway I know this was once your home but now it's a forest now and you need to adapt to today modern society."
With a side tilt of his head, the angel argues
"But I am doing fine all this time"
"Oh!"
With a mocking tone, Akashi-kun fries back
"Just like how you don't have a phone to call in absent. Or how you don't even know how to do any assignments or duties in school? You better get learning or else some questions are going to ask and as your future ruler, I can't have my subject been seen as a useless person now, can I?"
"… Well you have a point there… but I don't want to leave this place"
Kuroko stubborn states. With a smirk Akashi says
"Then you should stay in my house, it's near here and you could learn about today society."
"The offer is good but I do not want to inconvenience to Akashi-kun. I can't give any benefits for you when I stay there."
"Eh~ I thought all your angels was like 'show kindness to other around you and if you are going to become King you should show more kindness as an example'. So I am being nice now, aren't I?"
With a small sigh and place his two small hands on his waist, the teal boy says
"Kindness is when you reach out to help a person in need even if you would not get something from it. However, kindness is also a sin. If your kindness is too great for them, it could break their mental health and start to resent you for it. A kindness could kill you, a kindness could break a person apart, a kindness could be a bearer of suffering…"
An image flashes through his mind as he said it, then he continues
"So to me, kindness is something you give to someone and the someone could repay in back. And I don't have anything to repay your kindness of letting me stay and learning from your house."
Once again, Akashi is shaken out of his expectation and he's loving any second of it
"No Tetsuya~ Everything have been dulled lately to the point I start to think why not making it a little more interesting? I have a game Tetsuya~"
As he said it joyfully, he walks closer to the other
"A game how I could break someone mind apart. How accurate the future that I have predict? How to manipulate people with just words? And you know what, Tetsuya~"
Now he is only an arm away from Kuroko
"It also got very boring but then you appear"
With his forefinger he lifts Kuroko's chin up to face him, red and golden clash with teal blue.
"You break my world apart. You make my absolute future into something unpredictable and that intrigued me."
And that he's letting go of the small soft chin and takes a couple of steps back
"And I want that excitement. That's why I want you to stay with me. We both get benefit out of it. So what do you say Kuroko Tetsuya?"
He said while standing tall, back straight like a king looking down his subject. Kuroko who still blankly stares at him slowly looks down toward the ground with his bang cover his eyes. After what feel like hours but only mere second, the teal angel asks softly
"Is… Akashi-kun's house have vanilla milkshake?"
Put off by the strange question, Akashi has to recompose himself to answer
"Um… Yes, anything you want the chef could personally make it"
And the poor poor naïve soul of the red ruler is shocked out of his body as the sparkling and glowing teal eyes and back-ground of one Kuroko Tetsuya
"Let's move onward to our new house Akashi-kun!"
With that the smaller one quickly and surprisingly strong grip on the taller one's hand and literally drag him out of the forest in record speed. The last thought of the bewilder one is
