Chapter nine

Mulder moving as fast as he could dare with the roads and or any police patrols. He was lucky to finally make it back to the motel with dropping off the bags of food while Loki needed to get back to the forcefield before the germs began to hit his immune system.

John Doggett was nice enough to drop him off at the house for where the force field was located leaving Monica to stay in their motel room feeling something that she couldn't figure out what it might be.

William walked into the motel with his mother hugging him getting off the couch of the living area. She wasn't able to sleep any further until she was able to talk with her son. William knew that she was going to be hurt even though at the same time. She was going to let him go either way knowing he can help the aliens and himself using the device that Loki had mention.

"Mother General Wilcox was very interesting in many ways. I was glad that he was able to help with the formulas to help his planet and population. Otherwise Loki is giving me 24 hours to make my decision on using the device to wipe away my powers. I will tell you now I have decided to take the chance. I am tire of always running away from them any my parents. I want the both of you in my life after you had taken care of me when I was a baby and having no choice but to give me up."

Scully and Mulder were in tears with his words. More so with Scully finally realizing that letting him go was going to be easy. Mostly because of new baby in her womb that is Fox Mulder's. She had never thought that it was going to happened after all of these years and at age 52. She had to laugh when her life was at a crossroads with her medical career. "William I completely understand in regard to your decision. I will wish you all of the best with the device and if and when it does work. I want you to say goodbye if you decide ti=o leave to search for yourself."

"Father I don't understand what mother is actually trying to say?" He looked over at his father with the shake of his head.

"I don't either sometimes William. It's what makes it interesting to be around Scully after all of these years. You should of seen her when she walked into my office of the X Files? At that time she was so naive and not believing anything about Aliens."

"Really Mulder! I wanted to shoot you at times with your crazy theories. However I did fall in year with you as the years went by." She was blushing having to think about the first time they had sex and how things had changed for them.

"Well any rate I will leave later with Loki to the area of the force field and his spacecraft..." He was tired in need to sleep with Mulder telling William to sleep on the couch while they went into the bedroom so that Scully was able to eat her food.

Meanwhile John Doggett had come back after dropping off Loki and him moving into the force field and his craft to meet up with the others and explaining the entire situation on the formulas.

"Loki do you think William will decide to go through with using the device?" Serius II older than Loki asked having to be the technician to be using the device on William.

"I have a feeling William will be deciding with his mother letting him go. He's a pretty special person." Loki said about William. "I will contact Central of our planet and let them know I will send the formulas on how to go about using the cloud seeding and other drugs. They will be most pleased that a human is able to help us out."

"I will agree." Serius II had to say with moving into the transport pad down to the lower levels of the spacecraft. He headed for the level for where the device was located. He down the corridor with others moving to their quarters to rest with their sleeping cycles. Serius II walked inside the lab and turning on the device to check all of the power levels when his bondmate Julius Three came in asking on whether he was alright.

She was much younger than Serius II and been bonded for the past twenty years and is suffering with a light degree of radiation poisoning in spite the fact she was four months pregnant. And the physicians of their home planet that if they find a cure she will be able to survive as with the unborn child.

As she moves over to her bondmate speaking instead of the telepathy. "Don't worry Serius II everything is going to alright. I have learned to live with our planet dying as with many others. if Loki has come back with help from the humans I am all for it." She said with the touch of her frail hand.

"I wish that I could be like you my wife. I just can't see you dying in front of me when I can't do anything about it. I am hoping that the formulas given by this General Wilcox will help us save the planet and those still alive." Serius II said...

Meanwhile Loki had sent the formulas vis subspace frequency to reach them quickly and with knowing the answer soon. Loki after sending the formulas, he had gone to his quarters to sleep thinking about the chance William was going to be taking with the device in spite the small percentage of accidents.

He didn't bother to remove his uniform and laid down on his air mattress for which helps him sleep without the dreams or nightmares of his planet. His bondmate Wilma one died last year in childbirth from the radiation poisoning. He hasn't been able to move on with his life accept contact William and General Wilcox. Hopefully this will make up for the lost of his bondmate and the child.
