Weeks pass and everything is going swimmingly. Derek and Emily have been looking at houses. "Why don't we take a look at some of your properties?" Emily asks.

"Surprisingly, I have no current projects," Derek responds

Emily seems surprised, "Really?"

Derek nods, "We have been to the bright blue townhouse and the upscale brownstone. Where are we going today?"

Emily huffs, "We are taking a tour of a four bedroom and two bathroom home. It is twenty minutes from work and in a nice residential area.." Emily checks her watch in a rush, "We're going to be late."

Arriving seven minutes late, a woman opens the door to greet them. She helps them inside, "I am Nicole Brunswick, your real estate agent. You can call me Nicole. Before we get started do you have any questions?"

Nicole lets them into stoney house. Derek says sheepishly, "I have a few questions if you don't mind."

"Go right ahead, that's what I'm here for," Nicole answers.

Derek and Nicole blab about the details of the house for a while. Emily tries to keep up, but the language in which they are speaking is inconceivable. She cuts in, "I'm sorry, could you speak English?"

Nicole laughs, "Oh, I am so sorry. I don't normally have clients who are well versed in the real estate business."

Emily grumbles, "I trust Derek with asking the structural questions about the house. With that being said, I have some questions of my own." Nicole nods and Prentiss begins to read off the list she made the previous night, "How are the schools in this neighborhood?"

Nicole answers, "The schools are amazing. They have scored an eight ir better from the government inspection and other opinionated factors."

"Great," Emily continues. "I see we do have a backyard, how loud and disruptive is this area?"

"It depends on who you ask. The lady two doors down, Mrs. Kimball, has three grown children and oftentimes has her grandchildren visiting her. She is very sweet and handles the screams of little children, but down the street there is a man, Fred, he is old and has no children. He doesn't love the noise, but what are you going to do about it?" Nicole responds.

"I guess that is good. One more thing, what is the crime rate here?" Derek gives Emily a look. "On a scale of 'leave your doors and windows unlocked' to need a 'high-tech security system,' where does this community stand?"

Nicole seems impressed, "That is a great question, I don't get it very often. On a scale of 'leave your doors and windows unlocked' to need a 'high-tech security system', this community would be your average 'lock your door, maybe have a deadbolt just in case.'

Emily follows along, "That is better than what I was expecting."

Nicole smiles and starts walking towards the kitchen, "Let's have a look." The house tour takes about an hour. Derek and Emily have not let go of each others hands. The occasional 'this is reality' look they gave each other paired well with their smiles. Exhausted and tired from the tour the slouch onto the couch in the living room. "Before I get into any logistics, do you picture living here?"

The couple looks at each other. From the way their eyes glisten they know what each thinks. In unison they answer, "Yes!"

Nicole raises her hands clapping in joy, "Wonderful! I'm so glad." Sifting through papers she starts to talk numbers, "The owners asking price is just under your budget- which is amazing. If you would like, you can put in an offer under the asking price, but I must warn you a lot of people are interested in this house." The pair nods and listens, "I like you guys, you seem like wonderful people and I am going to really push for you to have the house. If I am being honest, the people who own the house now are impossible to negotiate with, they have had seven people send in other offers, all were turned down because the offer was too low."

Derek sits closer to the edge of the cushion, "What do you suggest?"

Nicole sighs, "I would put in an offer meeting their asking price."

Emily's eyebrows slightly rise. The three talk prices. They all stand up and shake hands, "Thank you so much, Nicole. You were wonderful. We hope to hear from you soon."

"Have an amazing rest of your day, I truly hope you get the house," Nicole gathers her papers as Derek and Emily walk out the front door.

Morgan and Prentiss hop in their car and pull out of the driveway. Prentiss takes a deep breath, "That is our house."

Morgan scrunches his face with minimal confusion, "What?"

Prentiss swivels her head and torso to face Morgan, "That is our house, Derek!"

Still confused Derek retorts, "Could you elaborate?"

Emily takes a second to rephrase, "When you and Nicole talked about the electrical and foundation, I skimmed the rooms that I could see while standing there. I don't know what happened, but I could picture a different scenario in every room."

"What scenarios?" Derek asks.

"I could see us raising our children. I could see us in a disorganized kitchen trying to bake cookies for their bake sales and I could picture us in the living room playing board games and watching movies," Derek's smile widens. "You are telling me you didn't see that?" Emily is mildly taken back from his reaction.

Derek focuses on the road while explaining, "I saw our family playing in the backyard, I would be pushing one on the swing, another would go down the slide and the other one would kick a ball or run around. I could see a line of children in the morning waiting for their pancakes and eggs. I can see the closets filled with clothes that they will grow out of the next day; and I could visualize all of them crawling into our bed when there is a thunderstorm. I pictured a lot and no other house we toured made me see that."

Emily grasps his shoulder and rubs it softly and lovingly. Her phone vibrates loudly, "Someone's calling me." She digs through her purse trying to find her device. "Aha!" Emily grabs it.

Worry overcomes her, Derek looks at Emily, "Who is it?"

"It's Nicole, do you think she has an answer?" Emily seems agitated. Derek shrugs his bulky shoulders. Emily hits the green answer button and puts the call on speaker, "Hey, Nicole. Did we forget something?" Derek pulls over, he looks at Emily with anxiety.

"No, I just wanted to call and let you know that I talked with the owners," Nicole pauses for dramatic effect causing the couple to hold their breath in fear. "Congratulations! You got the house!"

Emily drops the phone in shock, she picks it up and hugs Derek. He kisses her quickly before returning to the call! "That was really fast." Derek adds.

"The owners took your offer as is, all we need to do is some more paperwork; but other than that, you are the new owners of 37 Peabody Street. I am so happy for you guys."

"Thanks, Nicole. We will make some time to sign the papers," Emily does a tiny victory dance.

Derek laughs as Nicole ends the conversation, "It was wonderful meeting with you all! I hope everything goes easy for you."

Nicole hangs up. Derek takes Emily's hand, he glances at her ring. He smirks lightly and leans in slowly for a kiss. Emily softly kisses Derek. The pair separate lips and hug, after the unlock arms their smiles fade, "We just bought a house."

Derek replies, "We just bought a house." The two stare off into the distance, "We have to update the team."

Morgan starts the car and returns on the road with every emotion raging through his toned body. Emily adds to his earlier statement, "Dave is going to want a party and Penelope is going to want to decorate."

Derek prepares for what is to come. "Should we call them?"

"I think so," Emily responds. "Do you want to do a group call?"

"Do you know how loud that will be?" Derek looks quickly at Emily.

"You're right. I will call them in order of reaction volume, least to greatest," Emily shuffles through her phone to find her contacts, "Let's do Hotch first."

After clicking on his phone number it rings once before he answers emotionless, "Hotchner."

"Hotch, it's Emily and I am in the car with Derek," Prentiss switches to speakerphone.

"Is there something you called about," Aaron was in a particular odd mood.

Derek speaks up, "We just wanted to let you know that we are signing off on a house."

"Congratulations, I am happy for you two," Aaron says in a monotone voice of excitement.

"We just wanted to fill you in on the news," Emily pulls the phone closer as she predicts that the call will end soon.

"I hope everything goes well," Hotchner says.

Sensing the call is over Emily says, "Thank you, we'll see you tomorrow at work." The phone beeps as the call ends. Emily scrolls through her contacts once more, "Next up, Wonder Boy."

She presses on his home phone number, the phone rings a few times and a squeaky voice picks up the phone, "Hello, this is Doctor Reid."

"Hey, Spencer. This is Derek," Derek slightly laughs, "Do you always answer your home phone with your title?"

Spencer chuckles a little, "I just started doing that, a colleague who I have mentored with said that it often tells the caller you are intelligent and serious."

"That's great kid, I am calling from the car with Emily," Derek returns the starting point of the call.

"It sounds professional," Prentiss responds to his greeting.

"Thank you, Emily," Spencer gracefully accepts the compliment.

Emily announces, "We are letting you know that we just bought a house!"

"Really? That sounds amazing. Have you told anyone else?" Spencer's voice goes up one octave in excitement.

"We told Hotch, we are making our way down the list," Derek replies.

Spencer regroups himself, "Be careful when you talk to Rossi, he is most likely going to plan a housewarming party for the both of you." Spencer laughs at himself.

Derek chuckles at Spencer's laugh, "We are preparing for that."

An alarm blares in the background of Reid's voice. He jumps up, "I have to go shut my timer off."

Emily laughs, "We will talk to you later." Reid hangs up. "After Reid, comes JJ."

JJ's phone jingles, "Hey Em, what's going on?"

Emily clears her throat, "I am in the car with Derek and we are driving back from buying a house."

Unluckily, JJ had a sip of water forcing her to gulp it down, "That's incredible! I'm so happy for you guys."

"Thank you JJ!" Morgan turns the corner, "We are going into a parking garage, we might lose you."

"I can't wait to take a tour and-" JJ cuts out.

"JJ? Are you there?" Prentiss checks her phone, "She's gone." Prentiss scrolls to Rossi and takes a deep breath.

The phone doesn't ring even once before Dave picks up, "Emily, I heard you bought a house."

Derek and Emily look at each other in shock, "Who told you?"

"Word travels fast," David smirks. "I was wondering, what are the main colors of the house? I need to coordinate party arrangements."

"Dave," Emily says begrudgingly.

"What?" Dave does not understand why Emily is aggravated.

Derek unlocks the door, they walk in and stand around the counter. Derek grabs Emily's hand and takes the lead, "Dave, if you would like to host a small housewarming gathering, we would be more than happy."

Rossi rejoices, "Si, grazie!" Dave comes back down from his high, "I am still going to need the colors."

Derek replies, "I will text you pictures and under no circumstance can you tell Penelope."

Dave sways his arms in happiness, "Perfetto! See you later."

"See you later, Dave," Emily rolls her eyes.

She looks at Derek who has no words, "Come on, you know you want a Rossi party." Derek scooches closer to Emily.

The tension built up in Emily released, "Ugh, fine." She moves to the living sitting on her favorite chair, "Is that what we're calling them now?"

Morgan chuckles and lays on the couch, "Garcia came up with it."

"Of course she did," Emily sits back and rests her head. "Are you ready to call Penelope?"

"As ready as I can be," Derek sits forward.

Penelope answers, "Emily, the beholder of the three most beautiful and perfect babies, what's up?

Emily laughs, yet Derek answers, "Hey Baby Girl."

Penelope gasps, "Is that Derek Morgan the father of the three most beautiful and perfect babies?"

"You know it," Derek laughs. "Baby Girl, guess what this is?"

Derek jingles his new keys he kept from Nicole and Garcia tenetivialy listens, "It sounds like keys, but they don't sound like yours. You have a waxy layer on your key making them less noisy. Where did you get those new keys?"

Emily takes a gasp for air before conversing, "Do you want to guess?"

"Did you get a new car?" Garcia asks.

Emily corrects her, "Not a car, but a house."

Garcia wheezes in excitement and pure shock, "No you didn't, you did not just tell me that."

"We hope you can make it to Rossi's party," Derek adds.

"You bet your cute toned bummed I am. When is it? What will I wear?" Penelope starts to rattle off quick questions.

Emily repositions herself on the couch, "Hold your horses, Pen. We can get into more details later, but for now do you have any questions?"

"I just need a minute to process this huge news. The next thing you are going to say is you bought a minivan and you eloped somewhere," Garcia waits for a response.

Derek says, "We are looking at bigger cars, but nothing has popped up yet; and no we have not eloped. If we did, we would invite you immediately."

"Talk later. Ciao, Baby Girl," Derek says goodbye. Garcia hangs up. Derek swoops his head and looks at Emily's glistening eyes. He smiles at her, she returns with a grin. Derek reaches his hand out, he clutches her clammy hands and moves towards her. "I love you and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with; and our kids."

"I love you too," Prentiss twiddles with her ring as she snuggles into Morgan's side. Swishing a blanket over herself, she lays her head down on his lap and takes a deep breath. With only a few seconds passing, Prentiss is dead asleep. Morgan chuckles and strokes her hair lightly as she snores heavily.
