The two seeker started fighting each other with a vengeance. Since Battlescream was a clone of Starscream they had exactly the same fighting style.

And the link they shared ment when one of them landed a hit they both felt it. So it was a pretty even matched.

At one point Battlescream slashed Starscream across his chest plants and grabbed his own letting out a little cry of pain.

Then Starscream stabbed his clone in the shoulder. Then shouted in pain as well. "Scarp we just can't win here!" Starscream thought to himself.

Then the two changed into their jet modes and were not in a dog fight. Starscream fired one of his missiles at Battlescream but his clone managed to dodge it by turning sideways in his jet made.

Then Battlescream fired at Starscream who did a barrel roll while fire back at him. Starscream barely managed to avoid hitting the ground when the missile exploded above him. But he quickly managed to regain control.

Starscream was getting tired and it was showing. So Battlescream was taking advantage of this.

But Starscream suddenly saw something he was having another vision but this time it wasn't of what Battlescream was doing this time he saw his and Solarflar's parents who had been killed when they were sparklings.

Starscream had been too young to remember them having still been a new spark when they were killed but he knew they were who he was seeing now and they were both smiling at him with confidence and he could tell they were encouraging him and believe in him so he wasn't going to let them down.

Starscream suddenly snapped back to reality and started attacking his clone and managed to gain the upper hand.

He at one point managed to switch to his bot mode and got onto Battlescream jet mode and sunk his claws into both his clone's wings.

He could feel it too and it hurt like he was fighting in the pits of Kaon. But Starscream didn't care he wanted to stop Battlescream and make sure he never hurt anyone again.

Then the two seekers crashed to the ground. Starscream pulled himself up having been flung a shot distance from his clone on impact.

"That was for Megatron and Shockwave." He hissed as he limped over to where his clone was laying. Battlescream had apparently taken more damage then Starscream did.

Starscream saw his clone struggling to get up. The same way he had often done after receiving a beat down from Megatron.

Upon closer inspection he could tell that the crash combine with where his talens had just stabbed Battlescream's wings had severed them. And Starscream could see his clone's wings on the ground near him cover in energon.

Something about the other seeker on the ground before him beaten and bleeding energon and struggling while trying to stand just seemed pitiful.

Then Starscream knew why. He was basically looking at himself after so many beat down he had taken. He was seeing the past where he had been broken, beaten and alone.

Starscream walked over to his clone who was still struggling to get off the ground.

"You when go ahead and finish me just get it over with!" Battlescream grunted.

Starscream stood above his clone looking down at him.

"What are you waiting for end this!" Battlescream yelled at him.

Starscream held out his servo but instead of stabbing his clone he offered his hand to him.

Starscream remembered himself being in Battlescream's position and how much he had wished that someone would have tried to help or reach out to him. If he could change then why not his clone?

"If you promise not to harm anyone else and atone for what you've done I'll help you to the hospital and ask someone to fix you." Starscream said to Battlescream.

"Really?" Asked Battlescream.

"Yes you can change for the better all you have to do is stop trying to get revenge." Starscream told him. "I've learned now that in going for revenge you only hurt yourself in the long run. Literally in our case."

"Do you really think I can change?" Asked Battlescream.

"Yes you.." Starscream started to answer him only to suddenly have his clone's claws in his midsection.

"I can't believe you fell for that." Battlescream mocked Starscream as he ripped his claw out of Starscream's midsection and punched him to the ground.

Now to late Starscream realized his error. Tricking an enemy into moving in close so he could cause them serious damage was exactly what he would have done in the past and being his clone Battlescream was him in a way he should have known he would do this.

Battlescream walked over and stepped on Starscream's midsection which was painful to the Starscream since he had just been stabbed there. Battlescream felt it too but was ignoring it.

Then Battlescream was about to deal the killing blow by shooting Starscream in the spark chamber. When a rock hit him in the helm.

Then Battlescream turned to see Starshine, Solarflare and the rest of the Autobots standing there having just come through a ground bridge. Along with Soundwave who had managed to find Starscream's signal working together with Sunray and Ratchet.

"Leave him alone. Starscream is part of our family and if you mess with one of us you mess with all of us." Starshine yelled at Battlescream.

Then Battlescream started to fire his missile at her only for Starscream to suddenly gain a second wind and yank him around while firing his missile on him at close range. While at the same time taking the shot Battlescream had intended for his niece.

And everyone watched in horror as both seekers hit the ground and the lights in their optics went out.

Ratchet, Knock Out and Sunray all three rushed over to them. And saw that they had shot each other in the spark chamber and had both gone offline.

"I think we may be able to fix Starscream's body by using parts of Battlescream's." Knock Out suggested. "Starscream immortal spark might be able to use it again once it's fixed."

And both Ratchet and Sunray decided it was worth a try.

"Let's just hope that Starscream's spark will come back to it and that Battlescream's won't." Said Sunray as the three medics got to work.

Meanwhile both Starscream and Battlescream woke up and realized they were ghosts and stated fighting again.

While more like Battlescream started attacking Starscream. Until suddenly Battlescream stopped and Starscream looked to see why and saw a mech holding him back.

"Enough!" Megatron growled at Battlescream he he continued to hold back.

"Megatron?" Starscream said seeing his old master or at least his spark. And remember that Megatron had been unable to join with the Allspark because he had used Dark Energon.

"I'm sorry for what happened to you master." Starscream told Megatron.

"It's OK I know that wasn't you who killed me in the hospital." Megatron said to the seeker while giving Battlescream a death glare.

"And I did accept your apology." Starscream told Megatron which put a smile on the former leader of the Decepticons faceplates.

"I want to apologize to you too." Megatron told Battlescream.

"What do you have to apologize to me for?" Asked the other seeker in genuine shock.

"If it hadn't been for my treatment of Starscream he wouldn't have had a reason to clone himself and I was the one who sent you back to kill him so I was the reason you were made and offlined." Megatron explained.

"It's OK." Battlescream said for the first time feeling genuine remorse. "I'm sorry I killed you and Shockwave and took the chance to recollect with you away from Starscream."

"You didn't because we just did right?" Starscream said looking at Megatron who nodded.

"And Starscream I'm proud of how you handled that fight back there you've come a long way since you were trying to overthrow me." Megatron told the seeker happy that he had changed for the better.

Then they saw the medics working to repair Starscream's body and that they were almost done.

"Battlescream I want you to go into my spark chamber." Starscream told his clone. "You deserve a shot at living a happy life."

"Thank you but I can't you have a sister and a niece and friends who need you." Battlescream told him having had a change of spark and now feeling sorry for his actions.

So Starscream agreed to go back to his body and Megatron explained that apparently the dark energon had left his system so now he could join with the Allspark but had only come back to help Starscream and Battlescream settle this and both seekers were happy for him and wished him farewell.

Then Starscream got ready to go back to his body. "But what will you do?" He asked Battlescream.

"I guess I'll just wonder around Cybertron and see what I can learn." Battlescream told him. "Now that I'm no longer after revenge I think I'll see what it's like to be at peace for a bit and who knows maybe I can find a new body someday."

"Well good luck my friend." Starscream told his clone happy that he was no longer full of hate and having now made peace with him.

Then Starscream went back to his body. And everyone was relieved when he came back online. And told them what happened and that even if he came back online they wouldn't have to worry about Battlescream hurting anyone again.

And told Solarflare about having seen their parents during his fight with Battlescream.

Then they all went back to base and Starscream pulled Knock Out aside and asked him to help him work on something.
