It looks like FanFiction decided to start working now, so I'll upload these again.

Hissatsu Deku part 2. Midoriya's quirk is bullshit. Eijiro is the Manliest support.

Hissatsu Deku Part 2

"LOOKING GOOD, HEROES!"

Battle Trial! Now this is what Eijiro is talking about! The Manliest part of the day so far! Not only was All Might himself - the Manliest Man of All! - their teacher, but they also got to wear their Manly costumes!

Eijiro made sure to ask for the most Manly design he could think of. Naturally, this included Manly gears and showing of his Manly chest that he spent so long working on. Besides, thanks to his quirk, armour was sort of pointless, and he saw no point in hiding the results of his Manly workouts.

Looking around, Eijiro grinned at all the Manly costumes his Manly classmates were wearing. Iida was looking super Manly in his full set of armour, and Bakugo had these massive grenade shaped gauntlets. Manly as heck!

The girls too were looking pretty Manly, for Manliness knows no boundaries! Yaoyorozu had a similar idea to him, it seemed. Eijiro made sure not to look too much, though, because being a pervert was super UnManly!

Eijiro then realised that he hadn't seen his Manly bud Midoriya's costume yet. Eijiro was excited to see it.

Ah, there he was! He wore a green goalkeeper jersey, with yellow sleeves that had green lines down them. He also wore green shorts and white socks that went up to just below his knee. On his feet were his normal red shoes, and completing the outfit was an orange headband.

"Ooh, Deku-kun, you look just like a goalkeeper!" Uraraka was the first to reach Midoriya. She and Midoriya seemed to have a moment, and Eijiro grinned at Midoriya's flustered reaction at her costume. His friend was Manly enough to make sure not to stare, which is what Eijiro expected from such a Man.

"Y-Yeah, I went for the goalkeeper look because it offers a bit more protection for the arms," Midoriya explained. "P-Plus the shorts free my legs up for most of my techniques."

Oh, yeah, Eijiro still didn't know what Midoriya's quirk was. This was a good time to a-

"NOW IT'S TIME TO BEGIN THE LESSON!"

Ah, well, maybe later.

Eijiro grinned at his partner for the battle trial. He and Midoriya were chosen to be the heroes in the simulation that All Might explained to them, while Bakugo and Iida were the villains. Two Manly heroes, fighting against two equally Manly villains to stop their unManly plan to set off a nuclear bomb? Sign Eijiro the heck up!

"So, Deku-Bro, what's the plan?" At Midoriya's questioning look, Eijiro flexed an arm. "I say we just run in and take them down! With our quirks we can get right in there and capture them!"

Midoriya shook his head. "No, that won't work against Kacchan. His mobility is top notch, and all of my techniques take a small moment to set up. Hunter's Net is the quickest thing I could think to do yesterday, but I also had the benefit of seeing and hearing him coming from a distance. There's a lot of corners that Kacchan can ambush us from, plus the corridors will limit my options if I don't want to cause excessive property damage, as well as my options for mobility. If he ambushes us, we'll be in a lot of trouble.

"Kacchan will probably go on ahead and leave Iida-kun with the bomb, so we most likely won't have to deal with Iida-kun and Kacchan together. Ideally, we'd be able to lure Kacchan out and ambush him before he can fight back, but we're on a time limit."

Eijiro grimaced at the idea. "Ambushes don't sound very Manly, Deku-Bro."

Midoriya looked at Eijiro. "Lots of heroes use ambushes to defeat villains, Kirishima-kun. All Might himself ambushes villains with swift strikes that leaves them unable to respond, especially if there are civilians in danger. For a hero, the most ideal situation is one where they can disable a villain without putting others at risk."

Eijiro blinked. "Oh, right, I guess you have a point." It made a lot of sense, actually. It would be more unManly to let people get hurt by a villain. "Alright, I see what you're saying, but you also said we don't have a lot of time. So we're gonna have to just go in and deal with them, right? If you're right then Bakugo will be by himself, so we can both take him on and capture him, yeah?"

Midoriya rubbed his chin. "...Yeah, you have a point. We can't afford to be hesitant. We'll just have to go in and be on guard for Kacchan." Midoriya smiled at Eijiro. "Looks like your plan was good after all, Kirishima-kun."

Before Eijiro could respond, All Might's booming voice signalled the start of the exercise.

It only took a couple of minutes for Bakugo to find them. As they approached a fork in the hallways, Midoriya had to dive out of the way of an ambush.

"Deku-Bro!"

"I-I'm alright!" The explosion had just scuffed Midoriya's arm, tearing a chunk out of his jersey.

"Deku! I'm going to prove right here and now that your shitty, bullshit quirk is nothing compared to mine!" Bakugo sneered, his face twisted behind his mask. "You can't do shit if I don't give you the chance!" He went for another strike, but this time, Eijiro was ready.

BOOM!

"Take all the time you need, Deku-Bro!" Eijiro grinned, slamming his hardened fists together as smoke billowed around him. "I'll take the hits so you can use your Manly techniques!"

"You! Get out of my way, Shitty Hair!" Bakugo grabbed Eijiro's arm and, with an explosion-assisted spin, threw Eijiro down the hallway!

Eijiro slammed into the wall. He yanked his arms, but he was stuck. "Damn!" He watched as Bakugo ran at Midoriya, but his Bro was ready.

Midoriya raised his left arm in the air.

"HEAVEN'S-"

He clicked his fingers.

"TIME!"

ヘブンズタイム

Eijro wasn't sure what happened. One moment, Midoriya was in front of Bakugo, the next he was standing behind him, still in the same position.

"Hah!?" Bakugo growled and turned around, but as Midoriya lowered his arm, a tornado formed under Bakugo's feet and sent him into the air. "GAGH!"

As soon as Bakugo went flying, Midoriya ran towards Eijiro. "Kirishima-kun, are you okay?"

"I'm stuck in the wall!" Eijiro said, tugging his arms to demonstrate.

"Just turn your Hardening off, Kirishima-kun!"

Eijiro blinked, but did as instructed. He immediately came loose. "Sweet!"

"DEKUUUUUUUUUU!"

Bakugo was back on his feet and barreling towards them. Midoriya turned around and raised his arms, like he was lifting two dumbbells.

"THE WALL!"

ザ・ウォール

A wall made of solid rock rose from the ground, blocking off the rest of the hallway. Bakugo's cursing was muffled behind the wall, as well as the sounds of his explosions.

"That won't hold him for long! Let's go after the bomb, Kirishima-kun!"

"R-Right!" Tearing his eyes away from the Manly wall, Eijiro ran after Midoriya.

They'd made it to the next floor before the floor in front of them was destroyed by a huge explosion!

"DEKU!" Bakugo propelled himself through the hole, landing right in front of them. "You think you're so fucking smart?! Didn't think of this did you, you shitty nerd!"

Eijiro slammed his fists together, creating some sparks. "Looks like we can't avoid him after all. That's fine by me!" He looked over his shoulder and grinned at Midoriya. "Deku-Bro, just leave this guy to me!"

"WHERE ARE YOU LOOKING, SHITTY HAIR!?"

Eijiro ignored the explosion - as Manly as it was - to maintain his grin at Midoriya. "Get going, Deku-Bro!"

But Midoriya shook his head. "There's no way I can get the bomb without your help, Kirishima-kun. I'll help you take down Kacchan, and we'll get to the bomb together!"

"Deku-Bro…" Eijiro almost teared up at such a Manly declaration of camaraderie.

"Take me down… LIKE HELL YOU CAN, DEKUUUUUUU!"

Once again, Eijiro found himself being tossed aside. This time he went over the hole that Bakugo made. Landing on his hands and knees, Eijiro dug his fingers into the floor to slow down his movement.

He looked up to see Midoriya in the middle of one of his techniques.

Up in the air, Midoriya spun with his arms up against his chest.

"ICE GROUND!"

アイスグランド

As Midoriya landed with his arms behind him (much like an ice skater), a surge of ice shot from his feet. Before Bakugo could react, he was frozen within a chunk of ice.

Yet again, Eijiro was in awe at the Manly display.

"Let's meet up on the next floor, Kirishima-kun!"

"R-Right!"

Eijiro grimaced as he turned a corner, leaving the scene. As Manly as his partner was, he felt like he wasn't contributing much to this exercise. In fact, his partner was SO Manly that he wondered if he even needed to be there.

Eijiro and Midoriya stood outside the bomb room. They knew it was the right room because they could hear Iida doing an evil laugh inside for...some reason. Manly?

"Ok, Kirishima-kun, here we go. I can stop Iida in place, but I need to stay completely still. While I'm doing that, you can go and touch the bomb."

Eijiro looked at Midoriya. "Can't you just freeze Iida like with Bakugo?"

Midoriya shook his head. "Ice Ground won't work here. It was fine in the corridor because it was a narrow path for the ice to travel. Plus Kacchan limited his own movement options with the hole in the ground. To hold Iida down, I'll need something more wide spread, but I'll be unable to reach the bomb while doing it. I'll run in first, and I'll call for you to run in afterwards."

Eijiro paused as he took that in. He held back a sigh and nodded. "You got it, Deku-Bro." Eijiro was disappointed that he wasn't able to show off much during this plan - or indeed, during the whole battle trial - but he also knew that, if this was a real life scenario, disabling the bomb was more important than anything else.

Midoriya nodded back and ran inside.

Eijiro watched from just behind the door as Midoriya and Iida engaged. After Midoriya lured Iida slightly away from the bomb, Midoriya made his move.

After cracking his knuckles, Midoriya brought his hands up, grabbing his right wrist with his left hand. Kneeling down, Midoriya put his hand on the ground, and a dark purple aura emitted from his palm. A purple dome spread out, with Midoriya in the centre, engulfing Iida.

"GRAVITATION!"

グラビテイション

A purple aura surrounded Iida's body. With a strained grunt, Iida fell down to one knee. "What!?"

"Kirishima-kun, now!"

"Right!" Eijiro ran in and dashed towards the bomb.

"NO!" Iida cried as Eijiro touched it.

"HERO TEAM WINS!"

With the exercise complete, Eijiro, Midoriya, Iida, and a shivering Bakugo all returned to the waiting room.

"SO, CLASS, WHO WAS THE MVP OF THIS EXERCISE?" All Might asked, hands on his hips.

Eijiro was pretty sure everyone knew already. Obviously it was Mid-

"Kirishima is the clear MVP."

Eijiro's eyes blew wide open at Yaoyorozu's words. He looked at Midoriya to see his reaction, but was shocked even more to see him nodding!

"While it is true that Midoriya did most of the fighting during the trial, it is entirely because Kirishima gave him the openings he required to perform his techniques. Bakugo's fast reactions, as well as his ambushes, would have taken Midoriya off guard and disabled him if Kirishima wasn't there to take the hits.

"Not to mention that, at the end, the Hero team only managed to capture the bomb because Kirishima was present. Midoriya would have taken far too long to subdue a fast fighter like Iida by himself, and the quickest method clearly involved him using that technique to hold Iida in place while Kirishima touched the bomb. Even in a real life scenario, outside the realms of this trial, Midoriya would have only been able to keep the villain in place, with the bomb free to go off, if he didn't have a partner like Kirishima.

"Kirishima was able to put aside his own pride and desire to stand out, which enabled him to perform the actions that are most befitting for a hero, and allowed his team to be victorious over the villains."

She then went on to praise Midoriya and Iida for their own contributions, while criticising Bakugo for running off alone and for damaging his hideout. During this, however, Eijiro was still replaying her words in his head.

Looking at Midoriya, who was grinning at him, Eijiro found it very easy to grin back at him. Eijiro held a fist out, and after a moment's confusion, Midoriya met it with his own.

Who'd have thought that playing support could feel so Manly?
