Piper's POV

I was having a great time. Jason and I were back together and he even told me where that adorable scar came from. But at the house, Jason did something really weird.

We were kissing and then he got a text. I didn't know who it was from, but Jason's face went a little pale when he pulled out his phone. He asked if he could take a call, which I thought was also suspicious. When Jason came back in the room he nudged each of the boys and asked to have a word with them. They all looked confused but obliged.

When they all came back, they tried to resume what they were doing casually but they failed, as each one of them looked pale. Jason walked back over to me and tried to put a forced smile on his face.

"Jason," I said sternly, "What was that about?" Jason looked like a cornered animal.

"N-nothing, P-P-Pipes," He stuttered and I knew it wasn't 'nothing'.

"Well, you guys could spend the night and sleep on the floor or go home to a warm, comfortable, soft bed," Thalia announced. I looked down at my watch and realised it was past midnight!

"But it's so much work!" Percy moaned. I couldn't tell if he was kidding or not.

"Yeah! I agree with Percy!" Nico whined. The girls and I shared a look: Boys.

"Fine. Stay here and sleep on the ground," Hazel said indifferently. "I think we have a few extra blankets..."

Later

We were all going to sleep in one room, on the ground. Not sure how we came to that conclusion.

I heard 4 sets of deep snoring and knew that the boys were dead asleep. But I also knew I wasn't the only one lying awake.

I was trying to think about who may have texted/called Jason. I know he had some loose friendships with other kids at school: 2 brothers, Connor and Travis Stoll, A short Hispanic kid, Leo Valdez, but, other than that, who would've texted him? My brain immediately jumped to the conclusion that it had to be Drew. It was like being at war with myself.

It had to be Drew. There's no one else.

Maybe it was one of his friends.

Really?

Yeah... I mean, Jason and the others are kind of popular.

You don't think he's... Jason couldn't be cheating on me, could he?

NO. Jason's not that kind of person!

This thought settled me a bit because I knew that Jason wasn't. He wouldn't cheat on someone, no matter how much he detested them.

He did it once before.

Morning

I woke up abruptly because something quite heavy had just been thrown at me.

"What?" I asked sleepily.

"Get up!" Thalia moaned. It sounded like she had just been awoken herself.

"The both of you need to get up," A voice snapped. Annabeth sounded perfectly awake.

I looked around and saw the boys still snoring, so I threw the pillow that was thrown at me at Jason. He groaned and rose a bit, rubbing his eyes.

By the end of that, everyone had been hit with a pillow.

"What do you guys want for breakfast?" Annabeth asked.

"Pancakes," Nico moaned. "Yeah," Thalia agreed, just as tired.

"Fine." Annabeth took out a small grill and make some pancake batter. As she started to pour the batter onto the grill, Percy let out a very manly shriek.

"What?!" Annabeth had come very close to spilling the batter in shock of Percy's scream.

Percy leaned over and whispered something in her ear. Annabeth looked fairly confused as she reached into a cupboard and pulled out some food colouring. She picked out the blue tube and squirted out a generous amount into the batter and mixed it into the batter. The rest of us were staring at Percy and Annabeth with interest. I think I had a vague memory of Percy always having blue food.

"That's how my mum makes them!" Percy said defensively.

"Alright," Frank put his hands up in the universal, 'I surrender' gesture.

So, with blue pancakes in our stomachs, we got ready for school.

"C'mon," Hazel said, gesturing to each of our cars.

"Why can't we go in the limo?" Nico whined I think he rather enjoyed himself, thinking he was fancy.

Me, Annabeth, Hazel and Thalia looked at each other.

"Well..." I started, shifting my weight from foot to foot.

"We don't really want to draw much attention to ourselves," Hazel finished.

Nico's mouth formed a small 'O' and he nodded.

All of the boys' mouths fell open when they saw our cars.

Thalia's was a sky blue Maserati Spyder, mine was a pink Lamborghini (the pink colour was a joke), Hazel's was a gold (fake, obviously) Bugatti Chiron and Annabeth's was a silver/grey Porsche Turbo 911.

If you're gonna have money, why not spend it wisely? Sorry, but I have a minor obsession with cars.

The boys immediately ran to a separate car and each basically drooled over them. Jason went over to my Lamborghini, Frank to Hazel's Bugatti, Percy to Annabeth's Porsche and Nico to Thalia's Maserati.

"So, you guys know which car you'd like to be taking," Hazel said amused.

I think Jason and Frank sensed this amusement over their antics, so they stood up straight again. Nico and Percy, however, did not seem to detect the sarcasm, so they nodded so vigorously, they looked like bobbleheads.

"Alright Sparky," I said, "Hop in."

As the car door rose toward the sky, I could see Jason trying to hide his excitement.

I smirked. "So, you don't have a problem with showing up to high school in a pink car?" I teased.

"It''s a pink Lamborghini," Jason corrected seriously. I snorted and kept my smirk all the way to school.

It seemed the fact that they had a famous band among them had sunk in overnight. The sports cars probably didn't help our low profile.

There was a short freshman who looked like he was sweating. "C-c-can I, um, have-have a-an autograph?" He squeaked.

I took pity on the poor kid. Now, it was Jason's turn to smirk, "Like being a superstar?"

I play-slapped his arm, then kissed him.

At Lunch

Nico laughed.

"I can't believe you still got whipped in gym, Perce."

"I can," Percy replied and kissed the top of Annabeth's head. She blushed.

We were having a great time! Until the bitches came.

Drew snuck up behind Jason without any of us noticing. She put a hand on his shoulder and he jumped but didn't turn around, he must've known who it was.

"What?" Jason said edgily.

Drew leaned down and whispered something in Jason's ear while Reyna, Khione and Rachel simpered at us.

Jason stood up and rose to his full height, which, compared to Drew, was pretty tall. "You can't threaten us like that." He said firmly. "And if you do it again, I'll be calling the police."

"Then I guess I'll just have to jump straight into action," Drew replied, just as calmy.

"Uh... what was that about?" I asked after their little cheerleading squad had sashayed away.

"Oh, uh, i-i-it's nothing-nothing," Frank said, but he was sweating a bit.

I looked around and practically saw Annabeth's gears turning. It was obvious that whatever happened between Drew and Jason had been shared with the other boys and not us.

"Did she threaten you?" Annabeth asked after thinking.

"What?" Nico asked, his voice seemed an octave higher.

"N-no, of course not," Percy said hastily.

I raised an eyebrow to my fellow Demigods. Something's up.

I think this is sort of overdue.
