CHAPTER 9: WEAPONS OF MANY WEAPONS.

(POV: Mysterious Narrator.)

Back in the massive room, Dr. Smith was for certain that he'd had slain Billster until the dust settled to reveal the 15 year old stopping the attack with a shield made of blue flames. The teen then swiped his arm to his right and sent the swords that were aimed right at him, straight into the wall. As he lowered his arm, A ring of blue flames began to swirl around Billster as small sparks and embers separated from it, and began to form into swords. As he looked towards the opponent in front of him, Billster spoke with a dead serious tone in his voice.

"I hate guys like you! Thinking that your wrong doings are right! Thinking that you can get away with ANYTHING, whether it's good or bad! It's for these reasons why cults like yours should be burned to ashes!"

As he'd said this, the ring of flames that was around him raged more as the weapons fired. In disbelief and shock, Dr. Smith then summoned more weapons from the arsenal he had and they all shot out of their sigils like bullets. As the weapons collided, the speed and power from both sets created a shock wave that almost knocked even Gordon over.

"Whoa!" Percy cried. "Is he crazy or something?!"

"No!" Thomas replied. "Billster is using his most powerful trump card! He's using the flames from Blue-Spark to create weapons that he can fire back at the Gate of Babylon that the mad doctor is using!"

"Is that even possible?!" Exclaimed Edward.

"Well, Blue-Spark is a legendary weapon created by Hephaestus, the Greek God of Flames and forge." Lady replied. "So, It should be."

As the others continued to spectate, Billster had begun to get the upper ground on Dr. Smith, who is now infuriated with the results he'd been getting for they weren't what he'd intended. As Billster's weapons continued to destroy his, Dr. Smith scowled with rage.

(POV: Dr. Smith.)

"Impossible!" I thought. "I'm Losing?! Why is this happening?! My calculations should be top notch and yet they're failing me!"

As I then looked over at the boy who I was fighting, I noticed that his scabbard was empty and that his sides and back were unguarded. Taking this opportunity I summoned one of the other blades that I had in my arsenal and charged right at him as the blades that were being fired were used as a distraction. However, as I was just about to get close to him, he roundhouse kicked me in the stomach and I slid backwards.

"I bet you're wondering, how did I know your plan to slash me where I'm unguarded?" He then spoke to me as his blue eyes emitted flames. "The answer is that I used more than just my eyes to pinpoint your positioning. By hearing the sound of your footsteps, I concluded that you were attempting to attack me from the side, thus how I was able to kick you away in time."

Upon hearing his explanation, I couldn't help but feel impressed over his ability and intelligence.

"He'd used another one of the 5 senses to spot me. Clever." I thought. "But still... He is no match for me!"

As I then went in for another strike, my opponent summoned his blue sword from the ring of flames and clashed blades with me. As we clashed I found that I was losing ground as my blade began to crack.

"How... are you... winning against me?"

"Gilgamesh was the most powerful king of all time for he had the biggest number of powerful weapons." The boy then replied. "However, though the number of weapons may be high, you just recently reconstructed the rune, and haven't really had any time to master and train with these weapons."

The blue sword within that boy's hand began to glow brighter.

"Compared to me, you're just an overly eager one trick pony!"

"CRASH!" Went my sword, as it's blade then shattered.

"THUDD!" I had lost the fight.

As I breathed heavily, I could now only think on how my master would punish me upon finding out that I had failed. Though I never realized up until now, maybe this ONE defeat is what I've wished for. Looking at the boy whom I just thought I carefully thought up my words, as I then spoke to him.

"And to think I was so powerful with that rune." I sighed. "Excellent work. truly remarkable. Now please, kill me. For you are the victor of this fight, and I had failed my master. If I return back up there now he'll most likely kill me very painfully."

As I awaited for him to kill me, it came to my shock as he then sheathed his blade and then put me in handcuffs. As I stood, frozen, I muttered my next question to him.

"W-why a-are y-you s-sparing me?"

"Though I hate those who do evil," He then replied. "I will not execute those who wish for mercy and who are in need. If you still wanted to kill me or everyone else or fight, I probably would have decided otherwise." He then gave me a kind smile as he continued. "Anyway, for now, you'll be under arrest and be put to work with creating stronger potions and assisting in relic research."

(POV: Mysterious Narrator.)

As Dr. Smith heard this from Billster, the scientist dropped his jaw, making it quite obvious that he was not expecting this level of mercy. However, before anyone could say anything else, Billster fell down onto the floor, blacking out.
