Flashback! Leo and Calypso are 18 or 19 (going on 1,000).
"Leo?" Calypso asked
"What?"
"We need jobs." She said "We're in the real world now."
"Yeah. About that... I have an idea. It might be a bit far fetched though." Leo said
"What is it?"
"Remember when we were on Ogygia, and we were joking about opening an auto shop? That also sold fruits, vegetables, cider and stew?"
"Vaguely" She grinned, seeing where he was going.
"So, what do you think?" He smiled
"Where would we get the money?"
"I have this thing I made, that I think I could sell the design for and make enough money to buy a small shop." He said enthusiastically.
"Oh! What is it?" Calypso asked, curious
"It's not interesting. A drill bit design my mom was working on before she..." Leo trailed off, looking sad
"Oh. sorry." She said. "I'll look for a location, while you try to sell your design."
"Yeah!" And they both went their separate ways.
"So what do we name it?" Calypso asked, looking at the sign, just waiting to be painted
"Well, I think we were going to call it Leo and Calypso's Garage: Auto Repair and Mechanical Monsters." Leo replied, and she started to trace that out.
"One problem, Valdez." She said after a few minutes "It's too long. If I put it on the sign the words will be too small. How about just Leo and Calypso's Auto Repair and Mechanical Monsters?"
"Sure. I like it."
An hour later, they stood outside of their new shop, admiring the sign. Calypso had written the name out in deep blue, and draw flames around it, along with a drawing of Festus.
"It's magnificent, Sunshine!" Leo exclaimed "Well, I can't read the words, but that's just Dyslexia."
"It is, isn't it. Now we should get to work getting the inside ready."
"This is going great, isn't it?" Leo said. The shop had been open for a week, and they had had many customers.
"Yeah. We have one problem. I need a last name." Calypso said "I don't know what to say to people who ask my name."
"You can have mine." He replied. There was a pause, then Calypso spoke up.
"Did you just... Ask me to marry you?"
"Oh, I suppose I did. Sorry. Not very romantic is it?"
"No, it's not. But yes!"
"What?"
"You do want to marry me, don't you Valdez?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Well, yeah. But I figured you'd want a proper proposal."
"Well you'd better get working on that then." She walked off, leaving him dumbfounded
