Welcome back everyone and I hope your all staying safe and healthy
It's time for chapter 10 of the "S.F chronicles" with all members of the S.F team FINALLY assembled, now it's time to get down to the serious business as we move into RWBY anime cannon and I will be introducing a team that I have been debating on with my brother who has helped me design them to the best that we can and I hope you like em
And now without delay, let's get to it
Chapter 10 Welcome to Beacon
(Back with the mysterious people)
"Two Semblances…in one person, I…I thought that was…IMPOSSIBLE" One of the men said
"Apparently not" The man who proposed Marcus answered
"But…no information on his father, only his mother, Lil' Miss Malachite and his younger, half-sisters, Miltia and Melanie Malachite" One of the women said
"And he DID confess to nearly destroying an entire kingdom to Team STRQ" One of the men said
"But based on the information gathered luckily no one was killed during that…incident and it was because he had extremely little if not ANY control over one of his Semblances" The man who proposed Marcus replied
"Hell, he even forced himself into prison and has spent the last year in it and requested being put into solitary, all of his own free will" One of the women said
"I think we need a little more evidence than that" One of the males said
"Don't take my word for it" The man answered before pulling out a sheet of paper
"Take Summer Rose and Taiyang's word for it" He added, the female then took the sheet of paper and read what it said, after a few minutes she sighed
"I don't BELIEVE this" She said
"What" A man asked her
"Apparently Summer and Taiyang have filed to legally adopt Marcus into they're family" She answered which surprised the others
"REALLY' A man asked the woman
"Yes, apparently they've taken a shine to the boy" She answered
"Then its settled, with two of Beacon's top students watching over the boy we can not only keep an eye on him but also make sure that he gets the best teachers in helping him to control his other Semblance" One of the males said, there was silence so they agreed
"Well…now that all the members have been gathered" The same man said before showing all the files of the recruits on the hologram screen
"Shall we begin" He asked the others who all agreed
(5 years later, starting the cannon of RWBY starts)
Five years had passed since the group of "unique" individuals was brought together and when they first meet each other let's just say it was "eventful" at first all they could rely on was themselves seeing as how they were each from different sides of the spectrum but over the years they soon grew to trust each other when they needed it and rely on it, soon the Special Forces team was born and they became true forces to be reckoned but with further training with commando's, special army forces and even training from other elite and or retired Hunters and Huntresses, along with some very, very, VERY special trainers for each individual members, they became nearly unstoppable, within just five years they had gone on more than a hundred missions all of which were successful but nothing could prepare them for what was next…Beacon
(Bullhead ship)
On the ship transporting the new students for Beacon academy which included Ruby Rose, Yang Xiao Long and Juane Arc, we turn our attention to a pair of brothers, one who was looking out of the view at Beacon and the other was laying on one of the seating benches
"WHEW, look at that view brother, pretty sweet" One of the brothers said (This brother is about a foot taller than Ruby, he's white-skinned, has white hair that swayed to the right, slightly covering up his right eye, green eyes and is only a year older than Ruby, wearing a black shirt with a Chinese dragon image on the front in the color red, a pair of pants, a pair of black, fingerless gloves and a pair of black and white shoes, on his back was his personally made weapon which looked like a Gunbai armament fan but in the center was a sword sheath which had a 3 Ft long sword handle sticking out of the top of the sheath)
"Yeah, yeah" The second brother muttered as he peeked out from under his hat (This brother is the older of the two, the same age as Yang, his has crimson red hair that was almost as long as Yang's hair but only reached under his neck and jade green eyes with white skin, wearing a buttoned up, light blue shirt with a pair of light tanned pants with brown, cowboy-like boots, he was wearing a light tanned trench coat and a large, circular rim hat, he also wore a red bandana around his neck)
"You ain't even looking" The younger brother said
"What's to look out, let me sleep" The older brother replied as he pulled his large hat down over his face to block out the light coming from outside the ship before crossing his right leg over his left leg and put his hands together behind his head
"Sleep, sleep, sleep, that's almost ALL you do now a days" The younger brother said
"These things hardly interest me just enjoy the ride" The older brother said in a hardly interested voice as he tried to get comfortable, the younger brother then sighed
"Seriously man, you DESPERATLY need a girlfriend" The younger brother said before he pulled out a snicker bar before chomping down on it
"And you need to lay off the candy bars…speaking of which, when was the last time you had one, about an hour and a half ago" The big brother asked
"You're such a bore bro" The younger brother said, meanwhile on the other side of the ship was a lemur Faunus boy who was playing poker with a couple of other students and they betted money on it, one of them was Cardin Winchester while several other students watched (Looking only a year older than Blake Belladonna, with white skin, coal grey hair that was slightly spikey and has gold-brown eyes but you couldn't tell because his left eye was covered by an eyepatch, under his right eye was two scars that went down his cheek, wearing a silver, workout shirt, around his waist were a set of leather belt with pouches, he wore a pair of black, baggy pants with red and black shoes, over his shirt was a black hoodie that was zipped up half way and looped around his left shoulder and tucking around his right side was a single-strapped backpack finally from above his butt was a long, lemur-like tail kind of like Tangle's tail from the Sonic Archie comics)
"Alright boys, final call, who's in" The lemur Faunus asked the other three boys
"I'm out" One of them said as he folded his hand
"Me to" The second one added, also folding his hand, leaving only Cardin against the lemur Faunus
"You in or out" The lemur Faunus asked
"I'm in…but let's up the ante a bit" Cardin said
"With what, that's the last bit of money you got, said so yourself" The lemur said
"I KNOW that FUR FACE" Cardin snapped
"Whoa, whoa my friend, just trying to have a friendly game here, no need to get antsy…what's your bet Cardin" The lemur Faunus asked calmly
"Here" Cardin said as he threw an item onto the cash pile in the center of the four boys, it looked like a very stylized and personally customized ring with a red jewel center on top, making several of the students watching "Ooh"
"My personally customized ring from my last Hunter school, damned thing cost me six hundred bucks to make it like it is…what do you got" Cardin asked the lemur Faunus as he put an items down on the cash pile, it was an old-looking, long-barreled pistol (Like the ones that were used in the Golden age of piracy but it had been modified to have a 10 round magazine clip that was built into the handle of the gun and a slick, 7 In-long blade was built under the barrel of the gun)
"What the hell is that" Cardin asked
"A weapon that's older than all of us here…two hundred years to be exact, personally modified over the people who have used in battle, strong enough to blow the head of an Ursa like a balloon…so Cardin, you really ready to lose that ring" The lemur Faunus asked
"Oh, one of us is losing…but it ain't me mutt, STRAIGHT in diamonds" Cardin said, putting his cards down and went to reach for his winnings but the lemur Faunus manipulated his long tail and it somehow formed a hand at the tip and used its two, pointer fingers to slap Cardin's hand away from the pile
"AAH, WHY YOU" Cardin was about to say
"Sorry to rain on your parade buddy but, royal flush" The lemur Faunus said before throwing his hand down, which the students gasped a little, Cardin's eyes widened at the fact that he just lost and to a FAUNUS no less, the Faunus then collected his prized, putting the cash and slipped Cardin's ring on his right, pointer finger
"Hmm, nice fit" The lemur Faunus said with a smirk
"NO…NO WAY, YOU CHEATED" Cardin said, the Faunus then gasped before gripping his chest where his heart is
"I'm hurt…I'm truly HURT that you even suggest such a thing…my friend, I am just better at playing than you and you…well, you're just really shitty at cards but just to show that's there's no hard feelings, I'll give you a bit of advice for the future Cardin" The lemur said as he twirled the gun in his right hand
"Never bet anything you ain't prepared to lose" The lemur said before walking away
"That…BASTARD" Cardin growled as he put the boy on his personal revenge list, meanwhile another boy was seating at the front of the craft talking to someone over his Scroll (He was about two years older than Weiss, is black-skinned, black hair that was in a ponytail and well-kept, his eyes are green and were in the shape of Panther-like eyes, because he is a rare Black Panther Faunus, hanging on the binding that held his hair in a ponytail was an African-like string of red, white and gold beads and on his right ring finger was a silver, metal band with a black stone stud on top, he was in a light blue and silver colored version of Haytham Kenway's default outfit from "Assassins creed 3")
"Yes mother, I am doing well, I am mere minutes away from Beacon academy right now" The young man answered to the woman who was his mother
"Are you eating enough" The woman asked from the other side of the Scroll
"Yes, mother I had a breakfast fit for a king this very morning, you have nothing to worry about" The young man answered
"I still say you should have studied at home where I can keep my eye on you" The mother said, the young man then sighed a bit
"Yes, mother like you said the day I left, three days ago when you called, two days ago when you called, yesterday and this very morning…twice, with all due respect mother I get it but papa wanted to send me to an academy where I would make friends and we both know you will keep that promise" The young man said, the mother paused on the other side of the line before she answered
"Yes, my little warrior, I know…I'm just" The mother was about to say
"I know mother, worried, I PROMISE you I will be careful as possible…I love you mother" The young man said
"I love you to my little warrior and do try to do your best" The mother said
"I will mother and please do me a favor and try not to worry so much, I will be fine" The young man said before he hung up on his mother
*Ancestors bless her* The young man said in his mind, a little bit later the ship soon neared Beacon academy
(Beacon academy grounds)
The S.F team were currently biding their time as they were waiting for the carriers bringing new students to the Academy, they were just relaxing after a previous mission that proved a bit challenging even for people of their caliber, Eric was currently practicing with the weapon that Ozpin gave him the "Power pole" as he calls it, Ivan was brushing Volf's fur with a brush the canine companion certainly grew after five years, he was now at least twice the size of a Great Dane, Merida was pacing back and forth, getting a little impatient, Tifa was fiddling around with Kiryu's circuits, they nearly got fried on the last mission, Hector was hanging upside down from a tree branch near the group, Vali was going through some notes he had on a new puppet design he's had in his head for a while, Ada was reading through a fashion magazine, Corypheus was meditating and Marcus was playing a game on his Scroll which was made especially for his giant-sized hands
"UGH, SERIOUSLY, when are they gonna GET here" Merida asked
"Calm yourself, Merida they will be here learn a little patience" Corypheus said
"Yeah, you strut any harder and you'll wear a hole in the ground your treading on" Ivan added, Volf then barks
"See even Volf agree with us" Ivan said
"Oh, WHAT does a DOG know, I can't help it, just the thought of action gets me all rattled up" Merida said
"I'm with Merida on this one" Hector said before he swung himself off the tree branch that he was hanging from and landed on the ground
"Especially since Ozpin asked us to test the students taking the initiation test" Hector said
"At least one of you is getting a little sick'a waiting" Merida said
"I just want this to be over soon" Vali said
"Why, tired of waiting to" Tifa asked
"Negative, his vital signs indicate that he is…what is the word for it…antsy" Kiryu asked
"See, the metal giant gets it, I want some action around here and Ozpin has us seating here, twiddling our thumbs" Vali said
"Though you can't help but be the least bit curious as to why Ozpin asked us to test the new students in the first place" Marcus asked
"It is often a personal tradition for a couple of masters to observe and judge new bloods" Ada said
"AAAW, I didn't think you considered us masters…that just warms my heart, Ada" Eric said before as he twirled his staff and it decreased its length size
"Well…TWO of us are masters, the rest of you are still coming along" Ada said
"Thank you, Ada" Corypheus said
"What are we then, chopped liver" Tifa asked
"Hey, that's a compliment, what's the point of getting the top if you're taking the easy or fast way, that's no fun" Eric said
"That's the spirit" Ada said, Marcus then noticed the Hammerhead crafts coming in
"Hey guys…they're here" Marcus called
"UGH, FINALLY" Merida grunted as the team quit what they were doing, Volf whined however, he loved the feeling of Ivan brushing his fur
"I know you like it boy, but we got something to do" Ivan answered
"Alright, let's just see how the new meat looks" Hector said as the group walked over to the landing sight of the Hammerheads and saw students walking out of it, many students came out of the transporters
"Well" Eric asked his team
"Some look promising" Ivan answered
"Then again" Tifa was about to say as she pointed with her thumb towards a blond-haired boy throwing up in a nearby trash can
"Some aren't" Tifa said
"Looks however can be deceiving, I mean just look at us" Ada said
"And besides, the guy probably just had motion sickness…it's a common thing" Marcus said before a voice was heard, Marcus then looked to see his adopted siblings, Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long
"OH, COOL, YANG, THAT GUYS GOT A COLLAPSABLE STAFF, OH, OH AND THAT GIRL HAS A FIRE SWORD" Chibi Ruby said in excitement
"Well at least that girl is excited" Corypheus said
"Be right back guys" Marcus said before walking over to the girl and her sister, Yang then pulled Ruby back down to reality
"Ow, ow, ow" Ruby muttered as Yang pulled her by her hood
"Easy there, little sister, their just weapons" Yang told her
"There not JUST WEAPONS, there an extension of who we are, it's like meeting new people but better" Ruby answered
"I agree with my little sister Yang" Marcus called as their adopted, older brother towered over them
"BIG BRO" Ruby and Yang yelled as they both jumped on him and he hoisted them off the ground, laughing
"Big bro, I didn't know he had siblings" Vali said
"They don't look anything like him" Merida added
"He doesn't…not biological one's, he told me about them one time, the red-haired girl is Ruby Rose, the blond is Yang Xiao Long, they're his adopted siblings" Ada explained as Marcus sat his sisters down
"We haven't heard from you in a WHOLE WEEK, where were you" Yang asked
"Busy, you know…stuff for important people" Marcus answered
"But what KIND of stuff" Ruby asked
"Sorry sis, can't say much but what's this I hear about Ruby and her weapon" Marcus asked
"Yeah Ruby are you're tired of your own weapon" Yang asked Ruby who unsheathed her massive scythe and rested it on her left shoulder
"Of course, not, I love Crescent rose, I just like seeing new weapons" Ruby answered
"I say there's nothing wrong with that" Marcus added
"I guess not, but were here for more than just weapons, what about trying to make some friends" Yang asked Ruby
"Why would I want friends when I got you and Marcus" Ruby asked
"Actually, I'm here with some friends of mine to…evaluate the new students…no pressure or anything" Marcus said
"Well, that's cool…because my-friends-are-already-here-see-ya-later-guys" Yang said really, fast as she dashed off with random students, leaving Ruby behind and Ruby was put into a tailspin
"Wait, what, Yang, where are you going, aren't we supposed to go to our dorms, do we get dorms" Ruby asked as she fell backwards into someone's luggage
"Quite a fast one his sister is" Hector said from the sidelines
"Welcome to Beacon" Ruby muttered
"Come on sis" Marcus said as he helped his sister up
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING" A rather bossy voice asked the fallen girl as she sat up and saw a white skinned girl with pure white hair and had a rapier sword on her left hip in its holster
"Sorry" Ruby said
"SORRY, do you have any idea of the damage you could have caused" The girl asked them as Ruby picked up a bottle of what looked like dust
"GIVE ME THAT" The girl snapped, snatching the bottle from Ruby
"This is dust, mined and purified from the Schnee quarry" The girl stated
"Uh" Ruby stated, confused
"What, are you brain dead, dust, fire, water, lightning, energy, are you even listening to me, is any of this sinking in" She asked Ruby, waving the container of dust, flinging some at Ruby
"Whoa, easy there miss, give her a chance to even answer your first question" Marcus told the girl
"She could have damaged some of the purest samples of dust in Vale" The girl told Marcus
"She fell back ACCIDENTALLY, it's not like she meant to do it on purpose" Marcus told her, meanwhile the Black Panther Faunus man from the ship
"What's all the ruckus" The young man muttered as he listened in
"That girls got an attitude on her" Vali said
"She should…that's Weiss Schnee" Hector said
"Schnee, as in related to the owner of one of the biggest Dust companies in the WORLD, Schnee" Tifa asked
"Correct, Jacques Schnee one of Atlas's richest inhabitants" Kiryu said
"And the younger sister of one of my old bosses" Hector said
"This should be interesting" Corypheus said
"Very" Ada agreed
"What do you have to say for this" The white-haired girl asked Marcus who was about to answer before he and the Black Panther Faunus noticed Ruby was about to sneeze and they knew what was about to happen
"Uh-oh" Both the Black Panther Faunus and Marcus muttered at the same time before the Faunus moved into action with incredible speed and he pulled the white-haired girl towards him
"HEY, WHAT ARE YOU" Weiss was about to yell before the Faunus held up the left side of his cape whilst holding Weiss in his right arm and a barrier of energy appeared in front of them while Marcus placed his right hand on the ground to which these roots sprouted up from under the ground and wrapped into a protective ball around him before Ruby sneezed, causing the dust she was sniffing to explode meanwhile the two brothers and lemur Faunus heard the explosion
"What the what" The little brother said
"Probably just some idiot who lost control of their Dust or something" The older brother said
"Should we…you know, check to see if no one was hurt" The younger brother asked
"If that happened then there would be a scream of pain, wouldn't it" The big brother answered
"Well…yeah" The little brother answered as his big brother turned and kept walking
"There's your answer come on" The big brother replied, the little brother signed and shook his head
"Oh BROTHER" The little brother muttered before he followed, meanwhile the lemur Faunus heard the explosion as well
"Well…this place is already interesting" The lemur Faunus muttered, when the dust cleared from the explosion, Ruby was a little charred, the wooden sphere and the energy barrier both disappeared
"Gazuntite" Marcus told Ruby
"UH…thank you" Ruby replied, rubbing her nose, Weiss then looked to see the Black Panther Faunus in his stylish clothing and more specifically the energy barrier he pulled up to protect her and him
"You okay, miss" He asked her
"I think so…UNBELIEVABLE, this is exactly what I was talking about" Weiss said
"I'm really, REALLY sorry" Ruby told the girl as she dusted herself off
"UGH, you, complete dolt, why are you even here, this is Beacon, we're here to fight monsters not to fool around like a brainless girl" Weiss stated
"HEY, I don't know who you are miss, but it was an accident and I don't appreciate you talking to my little sister like that" Marcus told Weiss
"Whoa, whoa easy people let's just…calm down here for a minute" The Black Panther Faunus said
"A voice of reason" Ivan said from the sidelines
"Yeah, it was an accident and besides, I said I was sorry princess" Ruby stated
"It's heiress, actually" Another female voice was heard and the three turned to see a white skinned girl with amber eyes and pitch-black hair
"Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee dust company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world" The black hair girl clarified
"Finally, some recognition" The girl named Weiss stated
"It's also known for its questionable employment of Faunus labor" The black-haired girl added
"Ouch" Merida said from the sidelines
"That true Hector" Eric asked Hector
"Well…it might…TECHNICALLY be true" Hector said
"Double ouch" Eric added
"WHAT, how DARE you" Weiss stated before the black-haired girl turned and walked away
"Wait, she's rich" Ruby asked Marcus
"Not just rich, Ruby, LOADED" Marcus replied
"Indeed, her family is one of the richest in all of Remnant thanks to her father's trading company" The Black Panther Faunus said
"THE richest" Weiss said
"Second only to my family" The Black Panther Faunus said
"Excuse ME" Weiss asked
"Ah, forgive me, where are my manners…Thaddeus Black" The Black Panther Faunus identified himself, to which Weiss's eyes widened
"Black…BLACK…as in the son of Amelia Black, owner of the" Weiss was about to ask
"Black mechanics, the largest producers of over ninety percent of Atlas's military" Thaddeus said
"Huh" Ruby asked
"His company is richer than Weiss's and they make a lot of the machine parts for MANY cool toys that their military uses" Marcus explained
"You make weapons" Ruby asked, lightening up her mood after hearing that his mother's company makes "toys"
"Technically battle mechs, transportation vehicles, advanced defensive systems, those sorts of things" Black said
"I…I see, HMM" Weiss muttered before turning to walk away
"And she didn't even thank you for saving her royal ass" Marcus told Thaddeus
"I think the only thing that was hurt was her, ahem…self-pride" Black answered
"She'll get over it…won't she" Ruby asked
"Let's hope well, I better get going, it was nice meeting the two of you" Black told Ruby and Marcus before walking away, Ruby then dropped on her back
"Welcome to Beacon" Ruby stated in a depressed-like tone
"Come on Ruby, you just got here" Marcus said, a blond-haired boy then walked up to the two
"Hey…need a hand" The boy asked her, kneeling to her level, she was then offered his hand which she took, and he helped to her feet
"Not a day here and I'm already getting yelled at" Ruby replied
"That's because you just got here…these things take time Ruby" Marcus said
"Whoa" The boy said as he looked up at Marcus
"Never seen a guy with Gigantism before" Marcus asked the boy
"N-no" The boy answered, Ruby then noticed something
"Hey, aren't you the guy who threw up on the way here" Ruby asked him
"Hey, motion sickness is a much more common problem than people let on" The boy said
"Sorry, vomit-boy was the first thing that popped in my head" Ruby confessed
"Well, how about I call you crater-face" The boy replied, Marcus let out a snicker in response
"Hey, that was an accident" Ruby replied
"Listen, Ruby I gotta go but we'll catch up later" Marcus told his sister
"Later bro" Ruby called as Marcus walked away
"Bro…that GIANT is your brother" The boy asked
"Sure is" Ruby answered
"Wow…well, um the name's Juane Arc, short, sweet, rills off the tongue, ladies love it" Juane stated
"Do they" Ruby asked him
"Well…not yet, but they will, that's what mom always says" Juane answered
"Well, Juane, I'm Ruby Rose" Ruby introduced herself
"Pleasure" Jaune replied, a few awkward minutes of silence went by
"So, um, I got this beauty" Ruby stated, whipping out Crescent rose
"WHOA is…is that a scythe" Juane asked Ruby
"It's also a customizable, high impact sniper riffle" Ruby added
"A what" Juane asked her
"It's also a gun Juane" Ruby answered
"Oh" Juane muttered
"What have you got" Ruby asked Juane
"Oh, I got this sword" Juane answered, unsheathing his sword
"Ooh" Ruby stated
"I've also got this shield" Juane stated as he pulled out a folding shield
"Nothing else" Ruby asked him
"Not really" Juane replied with a slightly depressed face, Ruby thought she hurt his feelings
"Sorry…I'm a real dork when it comes to weapons, I guess I did go a little overboard when designing mine" Ruby stated
"Wait, you made that" Juane asked her
"Of course, all students at Signal forge their own weapons, did you make yours" Ruby asked him
"No, it's a hand-me-down, my great, great grandfather used it to fight in the great war and my great grandfather, they both used this sword and shield" Juane answered
"It sounds more like a family heirloom to me, but I like it, not many people have an appreciation for the classics" Ruby said
"Yeah…the classics" Juane replied
"So, um, Juane…why did you help me up back there in the courtyard" Ruby asked him
"Eh, why not, my mom always said that strangers are just friends you haven't meet yet…besides, you look like you're a newcomer, just like me" Juane answered
"Yeah…were both that" Ruby muttered
"Well, then let's see where this takes us" Juane stated as the two continued to walk before they realized they didn't know where they were going
"So where are we heading anyway" Ruby asked
"Oh, I don't know, I was just following you" Juane answered, suddenly an awkward silence fell over the two as sweat drops formed on Ruby and Juane's foreheads
