Previously on Ninjago: The Ninjas have found out where the other staff is to defeat Aspheera. So now Lloyd, Harumi, Nya and Zane must now travel to Clutch's club to retrieve it. While that's happening, the other half of the team have been hiding in the cave of the monastery to fix up a mech to fight off Aspheera and her army until their friends arrive with the staff. Can they get the staff? Will the other half of the Ninjas fight off Aspheera? Will they stop her? Find out now!
A/N: I'm sorry this took so long. And I know I promise soon, but things have been so busy for me to continue it that I lost track of time. Not to mention not enough inspiration to even focus on this story. And so, I came up with an idea. Instead of focusing on all the episodes' scenes, I'm only gonna focus on Harumi to speed things up a bit. If that's okay with some of you. But I'm gonna do it anyway, so that I can finish with this. Enjoy anyway.
Chapter 10: The Explorer Club & Vengeance is Mine!
While at the road of Ninjago City, The Royal Bike, ShuriCopter and the Land Bounty arrive at the Explorer Club. The Ninja (Nya, Zane, Lloyd and Harumi) got out of their vehicles and ran out to the door of the club. They kicked the door down. They are surprised to find the club with no one there. Cecil Putnam, the head of the Explorers Club, appears behind them.
"This is an emergency! We need one of the items in your collection!" Lloyd said quickly.
"The second Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu!" Zane said quickly after Lloyd.
"The one Clutch Powers gave you!" Nya added.
"The fate of Ninjago and the safety of our friends are in danger if we don't get that scroll!" Harumi finished.
"Let us see." Cecil suggested as he brought out a list. "Scroll of Confusion, Scroll of Dancing Monkeys, ah here: Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu. Yes, that particular artifact has indeed been deposited in our archive." he told them as the Ninja smiled in relief.
"Thank goodness." Harumi said with a smile.
"Great, we need it, fast." Lloyd told them since they are in a hurry.
"Of course, sir. I just need to see your membership card." Cecil asked them.
"Membership cards?" Harumi asked.
"No, we're not members, we just—." Lloyd was interrupted by Cecil.
"It pains me deeply to inform you that access to the club archives is for members only." Cecil informed them quickly.
"Are you kidding me right now?" Harumi asked in disbelief.
"This is an emergency! The fate of all of Ninjago is at stake!" Zane called out in slight anger.
"Oh, is it? Oh dear." Cecil said in shock.
"So, we can have the scroll?" Nya asked again.
"Oh my, no!" Cecil yelled. "Rules are rules, after all! Where would society be without them? Hmm? We can't have anarchy, can we?"
"Seriously?" Harumi said in annoyance.
"Well, um... Can we join the club then?" Lloyd asked so that they could get the scroll quickly.
"Hm. Of course." Cecil answered as he continued. "Once you reach 10,000 hours of certified exploration, notify us, and we shall begin the multi-year process of examining your applications." he explained as he slams the door on their faces.
The Ninjas looked at each other in shock and disbelief.
"Did that just happen?" Lloyd asks in shock.
"Apparently it did Lloyd." Harumi answered her boyfriend.
"Oh, that makes me mad! I'm going right back in there and giving that little pencil pusher a piece of my mind!" Nya angrily yelled.
"We do not have time for this. May I suggest another tactic?" Zane offered as the rest of the team looked at him.
"What tactic?" Nya asked him.
As if Zane answered with action, he uses his hologram tech to make himself look like Clutch Powers. "Deception." Zane said with his voice sounded like Clutch's.
"Nice one." Harumi complimented.
"Yeah, that's pretty good. You look just like Clutch." Lloyd added.
"Oh." Nya said in now getting what they meant.
Zane walked into the club again while the rest of the team waited outside.
"You think Zane could pull this off, even with the disguise?" Harumi asked in concern.
"I'm sure he will. He's good at this after all." Lloyd answered with a smile.
But to prove him wrong, Zane came back out after a moment and deactivated his hologram disguise.
"What happened?" Lloyd asked Zane.
"Apparently, Clutch Powers' membership has been suspended." Zane answered with a frown.
"Every time something bad happens, it's all on Clutch today?! Seriously, what is it today!?" Harumi angrily yelled of their luck tonight.
Nya was equally angry at this misfortune. "Harumi's right! I'm done with that pencil pusher! You know what time it is? It's Ninja o'clock!" she called out as she ran while the others followed.
The four Ninja climb up to the roof of the building. Lloyd stops the fan with his sword and some ice from Zane.
Lloyd observed the fan. "Okay, that looks safe…" the fan creaks a little, now he is a little worried. "...enough." he finished with a worried tone.
"Let's hope this will hold." Harumi pointed out as Nya uses a grappling hook and throws it at the smokestacks.
"We go stealth here. No weapons." Lloyd informs them.
"Let's hope we stay quiet." Harumi added to herself as the Ninja climbed down until they heard voices. The fan creaks, and Lloyd's sword and the ice moves a little bit.
Lloyd saw this ."Guys, problem." he told them as his sword fell and the fan moved again. The four Ninja yell.
They yell through the vents and then fall into the room under the fan in the club.
"Oh, dear." Smythe, the fan member, saw them in shock.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" Underhill yelled out in anger.
The four Ninja saw their situation and tried to figure out a plan.
"Uh, sorry, we're, umm…" Nya started.
"Working on the air conditioning?" Lloyd said with a nervous smile.
"Yeah, what he said." Harumi supported. But that didn't last long when Lloyd's sword fell through the vent and into the room. Lloyd catches it with a sheepish smile on his face. Harumi facepalm herself for this unlucky night. "This is not our night tonight." he muttered.
"Security!" Underhill called out.
As if on cue, Cecil and three security guards came through the door. Cecil saw the Ninja.
Cecil gasps "You again!" he yelled in anger.
"Run!" Lloyd said to his friends as they ran to a door to the relic room and shut it. Zane uses ice to freeze the doorknob to lock them out.
"What a mess." Zane commented at first sight of the room.
"This must be where they store all the ancient relics!" Lloyd called out.
"And from the looks of this, they really have a lot of adventures with this stuff." Harumi added.
"Which means the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu must be in here! Come on, spread out, let's find it." Nya finished as the four spread out to search for the scroll.
Zane looks at some scroll, and Lloyd gasps looking at a rubber chicken. Scared, he knocks over the Chest Vortex.
Nya saw this. "Lloyd, careful! That could have been dangerous." she scolded him.
Lloyd didn't mind that "It's just some weird chest with a mouth— Whoa!" he shouted in surprise as the Chest Vortex sucks books and scrolls with a mouth, the Ninja are holding on to whatever they can hold from being sucked in.
"What is that thing? It's horrible!" Nya asks in fear.
"It's a Chest Vortex!" Harumi called out, in having stories and history on some relics in ninjago before she became the quiet one.
"She's right! And it was a part of the Sybex Tribe!" Zane added.
You two say that likes it's not weird!" Lloyd told them as they held on.
The Chest Vortex continues to suck things as big as the rubber chicken. Lloyd then stops the vortex by stopping it with the cube that stored the rubber chicken.
The three ninja give Lloyd a three way look. Lloyd saw this as he sighed. "Yes, I'll be more careful. But don't pretend you had any idea what that thing could do, either." he told them.
"Lets just be more careful for now on okay." Harumi told them as they nodded their heads in agreement.
Lloyd stumbles upon a mirror. "Agh!" he started until he saw his father instead of his reflection. "A mirror?" he asks himself in confusing.
"Lloyd? What's wrong?" Harumi asked her boyfriend out of curiosity as she walked towards him.
"What? What is it?" Nya asks as well and walks towards the two.
"It's some kind of weird mirror." Lloyd answers to both of them.
Nya gasps as she sees her reflection, but as a civilian. "But why?" she asked.
"What is this thing?" Harumi asked.
"It seems to show us our greatest fears." Lloyd theroized.
Unknown to them, a mommy hand starts crawling towards them without them knowing.
"What makes you say that?" Harumi asked him.
"Because when I look at it, I see myself becoming my father." Lloyd said solemnly as he fears of becoming his father since he's related to blood from him.
Nya steps closer to the mirror again. "I see myself normal, like I never achieve my True Potential." she said as she looked down from her reflection.
Harumi took a look at her mirror and saw her reflection, she gasped at what she saw. "I see myself, evil." She said in sadness as the mirror is showing her reflection as The Quiet One. "Like I never redeemed myself from my evil side." she finished.
Zane then saw his reflection and showed quite a shock. "No. I see— I see myself, but without any humanity." he pointed out as he saw himself as just data of the shape of his body. "Only a machine." he finished with a sad look.
"It's okay you two." Lloyd reassured his two friends by laying his hands around them. "Whatever you two see, ignore it. It's not real." he pointed out to them.
The mummy hand crawls on Nya's hair and attacks her and the other three Ninja. They screamed on getting the hand off, until Cecil and the guard eventually got in.
"There they are!" Cecil pointed out as the four Ninja ran to the other door. "Stop thieves! This is getting tiresome." he pleaded. But the Ninja closed the door to prevent them from getting closer as Zane froze the nob again, and also because the hand doesn't get into the room the Ninja are in, the entomology room.
The Ninja looked around and saw entomology cases with rare bugs and plants.
"We must be in the entomology room." Zane pointed out.
"The what?" Lloyd asked in confusion since he never heard of it.
"He means this room is full of insects, from all over Ninjago Lloyd." Harumi explained to him more clearly.
"Come on, we don't have much time." Nya explained to them as she turned to Lloyd with a look. "And Lloyd, don't knock anything—" she was cut off when she accidentally knocked over a case with wasp looking insects. "Okay, I did that." she said embarrassedly.
"What is wrong with us?" Harumi asked herself in dependent voice.
Zane examines the wasps. "Interesting. Venomasicus Tigrus, tiger wasps. Their sting's the second most painful." he explained as he held one.
Lloyd yelled in pain as one of the wasps sting him. "AHH! RUN!" he yelled out to his team.
The Ninja run away from the wasps but are blocked by Cecil and the guards, who get in.
"Doesn't that guy ever give up?!" Harumi said as their luck is not on their side.
"Subdue these malefactors!" Cecil ordered his guards, but before they could react, the wasps attacked the four. Cecil dodges them and has a blowpipe. "I will place a proper kibosh on this charade! For the empire!" he declared as he blew his dart at them.
The dart bounced off of Zane (Since he is a Ninjdroid and is made of Titanium) the dart hit the ceiling, then the wall then the case with spider looking insects.
"Oh, fie!" Cecil cures at his mistake.
"What are those?" Lloyd said in fear as the four ninja backs up from them.
"Vastodectrus Venemous, the number one most painful sting in the world." Zane explained in fear.
"Let's not stick around to find out how painful it is!" Harumi shouted out in fear.
Nya finds a door leading to the treasure room where the scroll is. "In here! We need to regroup!" she called out to her teammates.
The three other ninjas followed her as they headed for the door.
"Sorry, guys!" Lloyd apologize to Cecil and the guards.
"You'll be thanking us for saving Ninjago!" Harumi added as they shut the door to prevent any of them or the insects from getting in. Zane freezes the nob again to be sure.
"Hey, look!" Nya pointed to the scroll.
"That's it!" Lloyd cheered.
"We've found it!" Harumi added.
Lloyd was about to grab it, but Zane stopped him. "No! It's too dangerous for someone to touch with their bare hands!" Zane informs Lloyd and reminds him of their experience back at the museum.
"How about this?" Harumi grabs a banner nearby, wraps the scroll around, puts their hoods on, and heads out of the club and into their vehicles as Harumi parked her bike in the Land Bounty to help Lloyd keep an eye on the scroll, as they drove off at night.
"Come on, let's get back to the monastery!" Nya declared as they drove off to save their home and friends.
They drive for a while, Zane is still in his copter, Lloyd, Harumi and Nya are in the Land Bounty to get to the Monastery faster. Lloyd and Harumi are behind Nya while keeping an eye on the staff with the scroll.
Nya tries to call their friend to tell them the news through the radio. "P.I.X.A.L., come in. P.I.X.A.L.?" she desperately asks, and the smiles as P.I.X.A.L came through the screen.
"Nya, where are you?" P.I.X.A.L asked.
"I'm with Zane, Lloyd and Harumi. We have the second scroll. Repeat: We have the second scroll!" Nya said cheerfully as the three ninjas can hear Kai, Cole, and Jay cheering.
"She's right Pix. We have the scroll and on our way now." Harumi added.
"That's the most welcome news." Pixel said with a smile.
Wu came in. "Nya, Harumi, tell Lloyd to be careful with the scroll. It is very dangerous. The less he handles it, the better." he informs them as he remembers the last time him and his brother uses the scrolls.
"We understand. We'll be careful." Nya confirmed, and then they heard a loud boom.
"Wha-" Kai called out in shock.
"What's that sound?" Nya asked, worried.
"The structural integrity of the doors is failing. You have to hurry, girls." Pixel pleaded.
"We will!" Harumi answered.
"Hold on, Pixel! We're coming!" Nya added as she pushed the lever for the thrusters with Zane doing the same to catch up.
"What is it?" Lloyd asks the two girls.
"Aspheera is about to get to our friends Lloyd." Harumi answered.
"We're running out of time." Nya added as she turned to Lloyd. "And Lloyd, Wu said to be careful with that scroll. It's dangerous." she informs him.
"I'll be careful." Lloyd replied. He then unravels the scroll to take a look at it. But in doing so, his powers were amplified and green energy fire was coming out of his head while his eyes were glowing green.
Nya and Harumi turned and saw, worried.
"Lloyd, I think you should put that down." Harumi advice carefully.
"Yeah. Maybe you should wrap it up again, just to be safe—" Nya was interrupted when Lloyd snaps at them with a glare.
"I said I'll be careful!" Lloyd said with a corrupted voice. Nya and Harumi stare at him in shock. Lloyd realizes what he said as calms down a bit. "Nya, Rumi, I… I'm sorry. I-I don't know what came over me." he said in a applogic in his own voice again.
"Don't blame yourself Lloyd. It's not you who is talking." Harumi said with a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.
"She's right. It's the scroll, Lloyd." Nya agreed. "Put it down." she told him.
Lloyd did as he was told, he resisted for a moment and urged himself to put it down. Harumi helped him put it down by placing her hand on his holding the scroll. And then eventually wraps it up again. The two smile at each other before getting back to their seats.
After some time, they made it back to the Monastery by going to the entrance to the cave. The two vehicles came out that surprised the enemies that are surrounding the rest of their friends. Zane got out of his copter first. And then Nya, Harumi and Lloyd with their masks on, came out of the Land Bounty.
"Ashpeera!" Lloyd called out to the serpentine witch while he pulled the staff up high.
Aspheera looks in shock. "The second scroll? Impossible!" she yelled in anger.
"I'm full of surprises!" Lloyd boasted as he, Nya, Harumi and Zane jumped down to confront Aspheera. Aspheera Spinjitzus first and Lloyd clashes with her. Aspheera slams her staff down on Lloyd and the staff flies out of his hand. "Gah!" he cried in pain. Harumi ran to him in support.
Jay leaps at the staff and Spinjitzus at Aspheera. "Ha-ah! Wha-haha!" Jay cheered as he and Aspheera clashed at each other and Aspheera slams into Jay. He splats onto the ground, while the staff flies through the air. "Eurh! Ah!" he grunted.
"I got it! Huh!" Cole called out as he grabbed the scroll in the air and charged at Aspheera. "Rargh! Ha-cha!" The battle cries as he leaps at Aspheera and brings the staff down on hers. "Huh! Ha!" he called out as they Spinjitzu at each other and Aspheera knocked him out. "Unh!" he called out.
The staff lands on Kai's feet. Kai picks up the staff and attempts to use it. But nothing happening to him, turns out the scrolls only affects people who have elemental powers, it doesn't work for those who don't have powers. Ashpeera grins at the powerless Kai.
"Kai!" Wu said this.
"Look out!" Zane called out.
Aspheera spins at him with a yell.
Kai doesn't back down, and then charges at her, but Aspheera easily knocks him out. He flies back into Wu, while the scroll lands and rolls to Harumi's feet. "Agh! Unh!" Kai grunts in pain.
Harumi grabs the staff as it unleashes her golden powers again. The Ninja (Except for Lloyd, Nya and Zane) saw this in shock as Harumi is using golden powers again. She charges at Aspheera with a yell as they clash weapons. Then they spin at each other, they were both equally matched as they brought to a standstill. But that didn't last long until Aspheera kicked her in the stomach hard, sending her back and dropping the staff as it landed on Zane's feet.
Aspheera then tries to banish Wu, but they leap away and the Titan Mech disappears. P.I.X.A.L. stares, astonished, at the empty space.
Zane runs towards Aspheera and leaps over two Pyro Vipers, with the staff in his hand. "Ah. Leaves my friends alone!" he yelled at her as he freezes two Pyro Vipers charging at him with a grunt and yell. And then she shoots his ice straight at Aspheera.
Aspheera yelled from the ice, as she knows fire and ice don't mix. Zane traps Aspheera in ice. The rest of the Pyro Vipers try to run away, but Zane encases them with ice. The ice spreads all along the entryway of the secret base.
The others looked in shock at what happened. "Holy cow!" Cole commented.
"H-H-How'd you do that?" Jay asked nervously.
Wu answered. "It's the power of the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu. Zane, give it to me." he told him. Zane looks at the scroll hesitating, the power is consuming in. But Wu won't allow it. "Zane!" he yelled at him to snap him out of it.
Zane walks over to Wu. Aspheera shifts her gaze to Zane and Wu and glares at them. Zane walks over to Wu and gets ready to hand him the staff. Aspheera breaks her hand, holding her staff, free.
"Look out!" Lloyd yelled on what he saw.
Zane gasps as he and Wu look in the direction to see a banishment spell from Aspheera's staff cast towards Wu. Harumi saw this and ran towards them in hopes to push them out of the way, Zane quickly pushes Wu out of the path and takes the blow, with Harumi along with him when she grabs his shoulder before the spell hits. They fell through a portal like tunnel on where they were going.
"Where are we going!?" Zane yelled in fear.
"I don't know! But I can't hold onto you!" Harumi said as she slipped from Zane as she and the Ninjdroid got separated from each other in the tunnel.
"Harumi!" Zane called out.
"Zane!" Harumi called out through the echo of the tunnel before she couldn't see Zane anymore. She screamed as the tunnel was bringing her somewhere on where Aspheera wanted Wu to go. "I sure hope this takes me and hopely Zane to a nice place! AAAHHH!" she screamed as she fell through the tunnel to some unknown place they've never gone before.
Shocking! Isn't it? So I made the part where Zane and Harumi are traveling to the Never-Realm in separate locations since Harumi was holding Zane through the tunnel. Can she figure out where she's going? Will she control her powers? Will she find Zane? Can she get back home somehow? Will their friends find her? Find out next time!
