The ship's search lights swept from side to side over the waters along the ship's bow. The crew aboard the bridge could only see the waves which crashed against the front and both sides of the vessel. But it was still too dark to see what lied ahead. Luckily, nothing had popped up on radar. They had already been sailing a good few hours now and still had some ways to go.
It usually took about a day or so to reach the island by boat. Though much had changed since their last voyage to the island. The oceans were now teaming with creatures that had been in slumber since the time the Titans had walked the Earth. Turning the bottoms of the ocean into a graveyard of ships. Most of it made up from the US Navy's battle ships and aircraft carriers from the Titan War.
So far, they had yet to to encounter any such creature. Though the underlining fear still lingered within the back of their minds.
One of the crew members monitoring the M.T.R.V radar suddenly heard a sonar alert. Adjusting his head set, he listened in and heard another ping. Peering down at the screen, he noticed a radiation signature over three hundred and forty degrees off the starboard bound and closing. He glanced back at Lieutenant Mattias and Dr. Hajima.
"Lieutenant, we're picking up something off the starboard." He said.
The Lieutenant and biologist glanced back at the crew member. They came up behind him, where they glanced down at the monitor. It was there they saw the radiation signature over the Radar, slowly closing in to the ship.
"What is it?" Lieutenant asked, curiously,
"Another ship?"
The crew member pointed down at the radiation meter at the side of the screen.
"We're picking up high levels of Radiation." He insisted to the Lieutenant.
Dr, Hajima widened his eyes. That was no ship that was approaching them. It was far too big to be another ship. His years of tracking Titans had familiarized him with the ship's Radar and it's ability to detect their radiation signatures.
He turned back to the other crew members.
"Turn off the Lights!" He exclaimed to him.
The Lieutenant glanced up at the doctor.
"What, why?!" he asked, curiously.
"Turn them off, Damn it!" Hajima exclaimed once more.
Just as Elsa was about to speak up, the front of the ship suddenly went dark behind her. They glanced back at the ships bridge and saw the inside go dark. Even the light that stood next to the doorway next to them.
"What's happening?" Elsa asked, glancing up at Jack.
Jack squinted his eyes, curiously.
"I don't know." he said, shaking his head.
The engine of the ship suddenly began to to power down. Jack and Elsa looked back as they felt the ship slow to a stop over the ocean surface.
"Overland!" Mattias called from the bridge above.
Jack glanced up and saw Mattias standing at the top stairway.
"Mattias, what's going on?" Jack asked, curiously.
"We got incoming!" Mattias called down to them.
Elsa turned and gazed back out over the ship's starboard. She then turned and faced out toward the sea. Peering out over the ocean in the distance, it was there that she noticed something moving beneath the surface.
"Look!" she exclaimed, pointing out over the ocean.
Jack and Mattias both stared out over the ocean, where they noticed a large form beneath the water's surface. Several feet below the ship. It was big. Bigger then the ship itself which was but a mere fraction of it's size. Jack and Elsa both stepped back from the railing as it passed under the vessel. They glanced down over the deck, hearing a low faint growling sound from below.
The creature came out from under the vessel and made a ninety degree turn. Swimming out in front of the vessel. Dr. Hajima peered out through the window, where he saw something surfaced from the water. It looked like a long, scaly dorsal fin that ran along the creature's back. It circled around the ships bow like a shark investigating an intruder in it's territory.
Mattias drew the pistol from his side and pointing it at the creature as it passed by. Hajuma quickly rushed over to the Lieutenant and grabbed hold of his shoulder.
"Wait, no!" he exclaimed.
"We can't risk provoking it!"
"It's already provoked." Mattias claimed, glancing back at the creature.
The creature continued to circled around the vessel. When suddenly it then submerged into the sea as quickly as it had appeared. Elsa and Jack stared off in the direction of the creature, breathing a sigh of relief.
"I think it's gone." Jack said, glancing down at Elsa.
The creatures radioactive signature continued to move north over the radar. But as the M.T.R.V crew member continued to monitor the radar, he then noticed the signal suddenly turned and began making it's way back toward them. He glanced back at Mattias and Dr. Hajima.
"Sir, the creatures changed direction!" he exclaimed to them.
Mattias and Hajima turned and rushed back into the bridge.
"Where's it going?"
They came up and gazed down at the monitor, where they saw the creature was coming toward them.
"Toward us." the crew member insisted, glancing back at them.
They suddenly heard the creatures low growling once more. Hajima and Mattias glanced back in it's direction.
Jack and Elsa came over the railings along the side of the ship, peering into the distance. It was there that they saw a large current heading toward them. There was large thin spike surfacing from the water. It was the creatures Dorsal fin.
Jack turned and looked back up at the bridge.
"It's coming back!" he exclaimed.
Mattias turned back toward the crew.
"Get us out of here!" he ordered, pointing forward.
The crew grabbed hold of the leaver and pushed it forward, starting up the ship's engines and propeller quickly. Mattias came back out onto the stairway and glanced down at Jack and Elsa.
"Hang on!" He called down to them.
There was a sudden thrust forward as the vessel went forward, slowly picking up speed. Jack and Elsa both looked back at the creature and saw it was getting closer. They could see the head of the beast slowly rising up to the surface. The Head resembled that of a crocodiles long snout.
And suddenly, the creature leaped out of the water, uttering a load roar. Mattias and Hajima each stared up in shock and awe. Jack and Elsa each stepped back as they gazed up at the titan. The Creature resembled that of a mosasaur. with a large crocodilian snout, black armor skin, four large fins at each sides of it's body, a long blue streak along the side of it's body and large dorsal fine along it's back.
The creature gaped it's jaw wide, revealing the crocodilian teeth that filled the inside of it's mouth.
"Everyone hold on!" Mattias exclaimed.
The creature dove back under the water, causing a massive wave that sent the ship forward. Jack and Elsa both clung hold of the railing.
The room shook from the massive current that struck the vessel, causing Anna to roll into the bunks side railing. The board struck her forehead, causing her to wake up. She leaned off the bed, rubbing her forehead. She glanced down at Kristoff.
"What was that?" She asked, curiously.
Kristoff shook his head. They heard voices outside in the hall.
"Everyone on deck!"
Kristoff squinted his eyes, curiously before throwing off the covers and leaped out of bed. Anna followed suit. He opened the door and saw everyone rushing down the hall.
"Hey, what's going on?" he asked, curiously.
One of the soldiers stopped and turned to them.
"We're under attack!" The Marine claimed to them.
Anna glanced back into the room. She then looked up at Kristoff.
"Where's Elsa and Jack?" she asked, worryingly.
Elsa and Jack were making their way up to the bridge, holding onto the railing for balance over the wet deck. Jack slipped over the deck but was quick to catch himself over the railing. He quickly stood up, his feet slipping over the wet deck.
"Private Overland, hurry!" Mattias called from the stairway.
There was a loud thud as the Ryujin slammed the back of the ship. Elsa gasped as she and Jack grabbed hold of the railing. They glanced back and saw that the creature was now close behind them. The titans body was half submerged like a crocodile.
"It's gaining on us!" Elsa exclaimed, turning back to Jack.
The Ryujin turned and came around the side of the vessel. It then raised it's head out of the water in attempt to attack the vessel, only to knock it out of the way with the current.
Kristoff and Anna were making their way up the stairway. When suddenly the ship tilted to the side, causing everyone to fall back against the wall. Anna lost balance over the stairway but quickly grabbed hold the railing.
Jack and Elsa held tightly onto the railing as the ship was swept away by the current. Slowly, the wave had then died down and the ship came to a stopped. Jack and Elsa stood up. They glanced back over the starboard bound, where they saw the Ryujin was swimming toward them.
Mattias glanced back inside the bridge.
"It's headed straight for us!" He exclaimed.
"We have to move, NOW!"
"Sir!" one of the crew said, glancing up from the Radar.
"We've got something incoming."
Mattias and Hajima came up and gazed down at the radar. It was there that another radiation signature appeared to be closing in on them. This one much larger then that of the Ryujin. Mattias squinted his eyes, curiously.
"What is that?" he asked, glancing to Hajima.
Anna and Kristoff came out onto the deck of the ship.
"Elsa?!" Anna called out to her sister.
They turned and peered down the starboard, where they saw her and Jack. Elsa turned to her and Kristoff.
"Anna!" Elsa said.
Kristoff turned and peered out over the starboard. It was there that he saw the Ryujin was heading straight for them.
"Uh, Anna," he said.
Anna turned back to him before looked out over the starboard. It was then that she saw the Ryujin, half submerged in the water like a crocodile. She widened her eyes.
"Ohhhh..." she said.
Jack and Elsa both took each other in their arms. As did Kristoff and Anna, bracing themselves for the inevitable and what was to be their final moments. When suddenly there came a strange blue glow off to their left. The couple turned and saw a strange blue light below the waters surface.
Hajima came out over the stairway, staring out toward the strange blue glow. All as Mattias and the crew observed from the bridge. Elsa stared out toward the blue glow. She squinted her eyes curiously, feeling a sudden sense of familiarity. As if she had seen that same blue light somewhere before.
It was then they heard the Ryujin's low growl. They turned back toward the Ryujin just as it then leaped out of the water, opening it's jaw wide as if it was about to bit the ship in half. When suddenly a large stream of fire shot out of the water and struck the side of the Ryujin, knocking the sea monster out of the way.
Everyone turned away, blocking out the bright blue light. The Ryujin crashed down into the water several feet from the vessel, causing a massive tittle way that swept the ship away once more. Everyone braced themselves as the vessel was carried away by the current.
Just as the ship settle, everyone glanced back at the sight of the sudden stream of fire.
"What was that?" Anna asked, curiously.
There was another pulse of blue light from under the ocean's surface. Followed by another growling. But this one sounded familiar. As if she had heard it before in Baltimore. Like something she's has be hearing all this time. And that strange blue stream of fire that shot out of the ocean...
Elsa widened her eyes.
"God-"
A large form suddenly emerged from the sea with a massive burst of water. The four gasped as they glanced up to see a familiar reptilian form covered with black armored scales, two large arms with claws along each finger. Three sets of large dorsal fins along it's back, these once much larger then before. A short reptilian muzzle and two golden eyes.
The monster king stood up right over the water's surface. Everyone stared up at him in shock and awe.
"Godzilla!" Elsa said in awe.
Godzilla stared down at the splitting currents of Ryujin's dorsal fin. The monster king growled to his opponent, standing ready for the sea creature's attack. His dorsal plate continued to pulse a surge of bright blue light in an act of intimidation. But even still. Ryujin remained undeterred to Godzilla's intimidation as the crocodilian titan continued swimming toward him.
It was then that Godzilla let out a great roar to Ryujin. Elsa, Jack, Anna and Kristoff each covered their ears at the titans roar. He then charged forward at Ryujin. Just as the two were to collide, Ryujin leaped out of the water, opening his jaw wide as he gave a loud roar. Only for Godzilla to grab him by the boat with his powerful jaws.
Godzilla then dove under the water's surface, dragging Ryujin down into the depths. Ryujin struggled with the jaws of the Monster King as he dragged him under. They came down to the sea floor, which was riddled with the remains of ships that had been destroyed in the titan war. Godzilla slammed Ryujin onto the sea floor and dragged him along. They crashed into several wreckages before Godzilla pulled up and threw Ryujin away.
The Mosasaur-like titan quickly straighten itself out as it swam back around to attack. Godzilla was quick to react, turning around before slamming it's tail into the creature. Ryujin was knocked into the wreckage of a aircraft carrier. The wreckage broke apart in two as the creature slammed into it. Godzilla stared toward the cloud of sand that concealed Ryujin and wreckage it had crashed into.
When suddenly, Ryujin emerged from the cloud and attacked, opening it's jaws wide. Godzilla held up his arms and caught the massive jaws of the sea creature, causing him to fall onto his back into the debris of a ship. Godzilla growled as Ryujin sawm over him. He rolled over onto his stomach, gazing up at Ryujin and saw him swimming up above him. The mosasaurian titan snarled before turning and coming back down at him.
Godzilla stood up and swam up toward Ryujin. Once more, the two titans collided with one another. Godzilla's dorsal plats began pulse a blue light as he then shot a stream of blue fire at Ryjin. Just before he could react, Ryjin was struck by the stuck by Godzilla's blue fire causing him to be knocked back. It was then that Godzilla swam up and grabbed Ryujin by the throat within his jaws.
Mattias came back into the bridge.
"We need to get out of here, NOW!" Mattias exclaimed to the Professor and crew.
One of the crew grabbed hold of the lever and thrust it forward. The engine started as the ship went forward, causing Mattias to fall back against the other end of the doorway. On deck, Jack, Elsa, Anna and Kristoff quickly grabbed hold of the railing before going forward.
Though the ship would not go far before Godzilla and Ryujin suddenly emerged on the other side of the ship. The ship was knocked to the side, causing Elsa to fall back against the railing and overboard the side of the ship.
"Wow!" she cried before falling into the water below.
"Elsa!" Jack and Anna both cried as they gazed down over the edge.
Elsa fell several feet from the ocean surface as the M.T.R.V pass over her. She then swam up to the surface. Upon submerging over the oceans surface, she gasped for air. She then turned and glanced around for the ship.
"Anna," She called out.
"Jack?"
As she continued to looked around for the others, it was then she heard Godzilla's roar from above. She looked back up at him and saw Godzilla bite down over one of Ryujin's flippers and ripped it off. Ryujin roared it utter pain. Godzilla then tossed away the fin before biting down over the creatures neck and plunged it back down into the water. Elsa was then swept up by the wave before sinking down in to the water.
Godzilla proceeding to drag Ryujin back down into the depths. The mosasourian titan continued to struggled in the jaws, desperate to break free of Godzilla. The creature then suddenly preformed a roll, spinning the two around just as they came back down to the debris of sunken ship. Ryujin flipped Godzilla around to his back before slamming him into several ships below.
Upon crashing into a sunken destroyer, Godzilla lost grip of the Ryujin who then slipped out from his grip. Godzilla slowly slid to a stop. He gazed back up at Ryujin and uttered a roar back at him. He got back up quickly and swam after the mosasaur-like titan.
Once more, Ryujin turned and swam back toward Godzilla for one last attack. Godzilla as well continued to swim toward the mosasaur-like titan. And just as the two were about to collide, Ryujin turned his head and opened his jaws wide as he attempted to bit down upon Godzilla's throat. Only for Godzilla to the dive down at the last minute, causing his dorsal spins to collide against the Ryujins open jaws. His spins sliced into Ryujin's armoured flesh, cutting open the side of the mosasaur titan.
Godzilla came out from under Ryujin's now torn carcass as it slowly sank into darken depths below.
Elsa had finally stopped spinning. She then glanced up at the ocean's surface, which was now several feet above. She then turned and began to swim up to the ocean's surface. When suddenly there was a pulse of blue light off to her left. Elsa paused.
There was another flash. And then another. She turned and saw Godzilla swimming toward her. Elsa widened her eyes in shock. He came several feet before he paused. The Monster king stared back at her with his glowing blue eyes.
Elsa found herself unable to move at the sight of his Titaness gaze. The air she tried desperately to hold was almost forgotten. Replaced with the intimidation she felt being before the monster king. Elsa waited to see if he was going to attack. He didn't. But instead continued to stare back at her with that intimidating glare.
It was then that Godzilla glanced down from her and began swimming toward her. Elsa tried to swim up to the surface. Only to then collide with one of Godzilla's dorsal spines. She glance back and saw they were about to surface.
Anna and Jack peered down over the side of the Vessel.
"Elsa?!" Anna called out.
She then turned around to the ship's port side. She came up to the railing and peered down over the ocean below. But still there was no sign of her anywhere. Jack and Kristoff came up behind her.
"Do you see anything?" Jack asked, curiously.
Anna shook her head.
"I can't see her!" Anna exclaimed, glancing back to them.
They suddenly heard another growling sound coming from the port side of the ship. Jack, Anna and Kristoff glanced back. They quickly rushed back over to the port side of the ship. It was there that they something rising out of the ocean.
Mattias glanced back to the inside of the bridge.
"Turn on the lights!" the lieutenant ordered.
One of the ship's search lights switched on and turned toward the direction of what had surfaced. As the light came over it, it was revealed to be several Godzilla's dorsal fins. Cutting the surface of the ocean as it swam off toward the south.
"Godzilla!" one of other marines exclaimed.
"Everyone hold your fire!" Mattias ordered.
Jack squinted his eyes, noticing there was something over one of Godzilla's dorsal spines. He turned and made his way up the stairway as he came up into the bridge. He grabbed one of the binoculars and came out over the top of the stairway. He held up the binoculars and stared through the lenses. It was there over Godzilla's dorsal spines that he saw Elsa clinging hold of him.
"It's Elsa!" he gasped, lowering the binoculars.
Anna and Kristoff gazed up at him.
"What?" She asked, curiously.
She turned back to Mattias and Hejima.
"We have to go get here!" Jack insisted to them.
"He's moving too fast," Mattias insisted, glancing back at Jack and Hajima.
"We don't having anything else on this ship we can use to pursue."
Hajima glanced back at the crew member monitoring the radar.
"Where is he going?" Hajima asked, curiously.
The crew member glanced down at the monitor. Godzilla's radiation signature appeared to be moving back toward the south, the same direction as Monster island.
"Radar has him headed for Monster island, sir." The crew member said, glancing up at them.
"Monster island?" Mattias asked as he and Jack came into the bridge.
Dr. Hajima glanced back at the crew.
"He's heading to the same place as us," Dr. Hajima insisted to them.
"Follow him." he ordered them.
"What about Elsa?" Jack asked, curiously.
Hajima turned to the Marine.
"We'll get her back." he reassured him.
Jack frowned as he glanced out through the viewing windows. He stared out at the dorsal fins of Godzilla as he swam ahead toward the island. His fiancé clinging hold to him for dear like as he carried her off to an island teeming with monsters. Jack turned back to the the open doorway, where he saw Anna and Kristoff were standing. The two stared concern back at him, both having overheard them.
Jack peered forward once more, contemplating the danger Elsa may be in.
