Chapter 20.
Getting Optimus and then Cybertron.
(Jack POV)
We just beamed up to Voyager.
"Where are we?" Bulk said.
"Say Hello to Voyager," I said.
"But how," Ratchet said.
"Voyager was my Dad's ships, Before Jack got it next," Mum said.
"This ship being pass through family since we got it," I said.
"I'll get to the Bridge," Mum said. Heading off.
"Cortana, what's the power systems like," I said.
"I'm firing them up now, another 5 minutes and we will be good to go," Cortana said.
"But we still need to get Optimus," Ratchet said.
"Already got a plan for that," I said.
Then we headed out and into the Turbolift and went to the Bridge where Mum was at OPS.
"Mum, How are we doing," I said.
"Almost ready, Cortana is finishing bring everything online before we go, So how are we getting Optimus back," Mum said.
"Seal off Shuttlebay 2, Place Forcefield all the way around it," I said. "Cortana, Is the Cloak online,"
"Yes, But I can't tell if it's fully ready yet," Cortana said.
"Then we beam him out and high tail it to Cybertron," I said.
"Coordinates set," Cortana said.
"I'm picking up the Nemesis, We are in Transporter Range, But we should wait till we are in the air," Mum said.
"Then Let's go, Blue Alert," I said. As the Klaxon went Blue.
"Airlocks all sealed, Landing struts ready to restack," Mum said.
"Ready Thrusters," I said.
"Thrusters, ready," Mum said.
"Alright Cortana Take us up," I said.
"Firing Thrusters," Cortana said.
As we shook a bit when we got off the ground.
"We're airborne," Mum said.
"Get a lock on Optimus and Energize," I said.
"Energizing, We got him, Shuttlebay 2," Mum said.
"I'll get down there try and talk with him," Ratchet said.
"Go, Cortana, Set a course for Cybertron Warp 9," I said.
"Course Plotted and layed in," Cortana said.
"Engage," I said.
Then Voyager went into Warp as the Nemesis didn't know what happened.
"How long till we reach Cybertron?" I said.
"6 Hours," Mum said.
"What about the Nemesis," I said.
"Only saw us as we went to Warp," Mum said.
"Let's hope they don't have Warp Drive," I said.
"Me too," Mum said. "But let's hope we can get Optimus back before that,"
"Not the only one," I said.

By the time the con's figured out what had happened We were almost at Cybertron, we were just another 5 mins from reaching it.
Ratchet managed to get Orion back on our side, At least enough to get him to calm down.
"How'd do we find Vector Sigma once we get there," Bulk said.
"Easy, Mum Scan the signature of the key, Maybe the sensor could point us in the right way once we got there," I said.
"Already on it," Mum said.
"Jack, we almost in the system," Cortana said.
"Drop out of warp, full Impulse," I said.
Then Ratchet came back with Orion.
"Ratchet," I said.
"It's okay," Ratchet said.
"We're coming up on Cybertron," Mum said.
"On screen," I said.
Then it came up. But it looked dead.
"It's dead," Orion said.
"Damn Con's," I said. "Mum where is it?"
"I got a direct but, have a look at this," Mum said. Pulling it on the screen.
"Looks like Cybertron is in a Nuclear Winter," I said.
"But it can't be, There was no Nuclear energy on Cybertron," Ratchet said.
"How long did this start Mum," I said.
"At least 2 Millions years ago," Mum said.
"That was after we left Cybertron," Ratchet said.
"So if it wasn't Con's what really did it," I said.
"No clue, Nothing on Sensors to tell us who did it, Nothing on our database at least." Mum said.
"Entering orbit," Cortana said.
"Can you get a lock where," I said.
"Nope, But it could be at least 2 miles away from these Coordinates," Mum said.
Putting up an area without any Radiation. "That the only place without Radiation," I said.
"Look like it and it expands for 10 Miles, No Rads at all," Mum said.
"What a shield," I said.
"No idea," Mum said.
"Can we beam down," I said.
"No, Not even take a shuttle down," Mum said.
"So we came all this way for nothing," Ratchet said.
"It's not over yet," I said. "Cortana, can Cybertron support a landing,"
"Don't see why not?" Cortana said.
"You can be serious," Ratchet said.
"Deadly," I said.
"Jack, there's not atmosphere on the planet," Mum said.
"Then I'll use an EVA suit," I said.
"I'll change back and go with him," Arcee said.
"Then what are we waiting for. Cortana, Take the Warp Core offline, Vent all Plasma from the Nacelles, and get atmospheric thruster ready to go," I said.
"Landing struts online, Inertial Dampers at Maximum," Mum said. "We good to go,"
"Then Let's go, Blue Alert," I said. Then the Klaxon went off and Blue again. "Alright, Cortana Put us down,"
"We're on the Glide trajectory, Altitude 100 Kilometers, Speed 10,000 KPH," Cortana said.
Then we got hit.
"We have an EM discharge in the lateral Relays, Rerouting the ODN conduit, We're all right," Mum said.
"Cortana," I said.
"20 Kilometer to landing site, We should able to see it," Cortana said.
"On screen," I said. "Engage Landing struts, prepare the release inertia dampers and adjust them to match Cybertron's gravity field,"
"Landing struts. Down and locked," Mum said.
Then Cortana landed us nice and smooth on the surface. "Disengaging Engines, Securing thruster exhaust, We're down," Cortana said.
"Stand down Blue Alert, Arcee, you with me, Mum, Voyager yours," I said. As we got into the turbolift and headed down and into the room with the EVA suits. I went to put one on.
"Jack, you know I don't need one you know," Arcee said.
"I know, But I do," I said.
Then I finished putting it on but not started to air supply yet. "Let's get to the shuttlebay," I said.
Then we went there and I sealed the Shuttlebay off.
"Cee you best change back," I said.
"Already going to," Arcee said Moving out and bit before changing back to her Normal Form.
Then I started up the air supply and depressurized the shuttlebay and opened the bay doors.
"Mum, We're heading out," I said. Grabbing the Phaser Rifle.
"Acknowledged, but you better come back," Mum said.
"I plan on it," I said. Then Arcee Changed and I got on and we drove out of the bay and headed the direction the key was flashing in.
It took some time but we found the way into where Vector Sigma was. But then Something came and attack Arcee.
"Arcee," I said.
"GO, I'll hold it off," Arcee said.
Then I kept going on. Knowing Arcee would catch up. I ended up right next to a deadend but when I moved the Key to the wall it opened up. So I kept going on. Where I found another door which opened when I got close to it with the Key out. Where there was this massive area.
"Jack to Voyager," I said.
"Jack," Mum said.
"Is everything alright," Bulk said.
"Just fine. I think we found Vector Sigma. But I can't find a place to put this," I said.
"You don't need to Jack, Is there a large platform?" Ratchet said.
"Yes, why?" I said.
"There should be the same marking on the ground like the Key," Ratchet said.
"Found it," I said. "But it's needs to be bigger,"
"Doesn't matter just place it down, Jack, It will do the rest," Ratchet said.
"Got it," I said moving and placing it down before backing off as it got bigger and the platform raised up. "That really did something," Then It started to flash and go towards the Key. "Download in progress, What's it like up there?"
"Nothing on sensors," Mum said. "But I am picking up a group of Life sign that Ratchet has confirmed as Cybertronians,"
"And they are heading this way," I said.
"Yes," Mum said.
"Got it, Once we got the data, we'll high tail it back to Voyager, Jack out," I said. "Arcee, you read me?"
"Still a bit busy here," Arcee said.
"Damn, It's downloading here soon we are heading back to Voyager," I said.
"Let me know when and I'll pick you up," Arcee said.
"Always," I said. Then the channel cut out. "Arcee, Arcee you read me?" But nothing.
Then I noticed something in the room with me and Aimed my Phaser at it, Which turned out to be a Female Cybertronian.
"What do you want? Who are you?" I said.
"Moonracer, I am the guardian of Vector Sigma. What is the reason you are here?" She said.
"Waiting for the Key to finish downloading to get our friend back," I said.
"He must be a Prime for that?" She said.
"He is," I said.
"But why would he send whatever you are?" She said.
"Human," I said.
"Weird, I can sense something other than that in you," She said.
"What you mean," I said.
"Doesn't matter, But If a Prime sees fit to give you the most important Key to this place," She said. Then I saw something Silver and it hit through my suit.
"Ouch, What the hell," I said hitting the ground.
"You Will find out," She said. Then everything started to fid around me. "Remember," She said touching my head then I was out for the count.

When I woke up, I got up but there was no sign of her. Where'd she go. Damn it. What did she put in me. I looked at where whatever it was hit me. But nothing was there and the breach in my suit wasn't there. But what did she mean by Remember. Remember what. What did she mean something different about me. Maybe she was just picking up my Wolf side.
"Jack, you read me," Mum said.
"Yes, Mum," I said.
"Is it done," Mum said.
Then I saw the Platform back where it was when I entered and the Key back to it's normal size,
"Yeah it's done, we're on the way back," I said.
"See you soon," Mum said.
"Jack To Arcee," I said.
"I'm here," Arcee said.
"It's done, what about you and whatever that is," I said.
"Yes, and I got some Backup, I'll pick you up then we headed back to Voyager with them," Arcee said.
"See you then in a moment," I said.
Heading back to Arcee after grabbing the Key and ran back the way I came and I could feel someone watching me. But I don't care I wanted out of there. Where I met up with Arcee just by the wall which move apart the first time.
"It's done, Let's get back to Voyager," I said. Getting on.
"Then let's go, Chromia, It's me when high tail it right behind me," Arcee said.
Then we took off towards the surface where I saw 3 others fighting that thing which saw us and then followed us in some sort of vehicle modes back to Voyager and into the Shuttlebay.
"Cortana, seal the shuttlebay," I said.
Then the doors sealed and repressurized the bay.
"All done," Cortana said.
Then I took of my Helmet.
"Ratchet, Where's Orion," I said.
"Shuttlebay 2 with me," Ratchet said.
"On my way," I said. "Cee,"
"Already on it," Arcee said.
Then I left and headed down to the other shuttlebay after I got the EVA suit off. Where I found them.
"You got it," Ratchet said.
"Right here," I said.
Then I got up the a higher level enough for Eye level in his Cybertronian form.
"Orion," I said Holding up the key.
"Do you really think I'm worthy," Orion said.
"More than you know," I said.
Then Orion's chest opened and the key fired something into his chest.
"What is happening?" I said.
"It's the Information you get from Vector Sigma, His memories are going back into his mind," Ratchet said.
"How long is this going to take," I said.
"From the look of it, It's nearly finished," Ratchet said.
Then the light from the Key, it finally stopped and then flew towards Orion who grabbed it.
"Optimus," I said.
"Jack, Where am I?" Optimus said.
"It's good to have you back Optimus," Ratchet said.
"Where are we Ratchet," Optimus said.
"Voyager's Shuttlebay," I said.
"You know," Optimus said.
"It's my ship so yeah, kind a do, Jack to Bridge, It worked, We've got Optimus back," I said.
"Thank god," Mum said.
"Yes!" Miko said.
"Alright," Raf said.
"Sweet," Bulk said.
"Cortana, Fire her up let's go home," I said.
"It's going to take 5 minutes to do that, Jack" Cortana said.
"Fine, We're on our way up," I said.
"Where's Arcee?" Ratchet said.
"We found 3 others out there, Arcee called one Chromia," I said.
"Chromia is Arcee's Sister," Ratchet said.
"Who was the others?" Optimus said.
"Didn't get their names," I said. "Jack to Arcee, Optimus is back, We're heading up to the Bridge,"
"We will meet you there," Arcee said.
Then Optimus went into his Human form and we headed out of the Shuttlebay and up to the Bridge in the Turbolift where Arcee was already there.
"IronHide, Jazz," Optimus said.
"Good to see you boss," Ironhide said. As well as Jazz.
"Good to see you Optimus," Chromia said.
"You good, Cee," I said.
"Yeap," Arcee said.
"Then let's go before," I said.
"Jack, I'm picking up a ship in orbit, It's the Nemesis," Mum said.
"Have they seen us," I said.
"Not Yet," Mum said.
"Cortana, Now or Never," I said.
"Engines and all other systems online," Cortana said.
"Jack, they see us, They're launch Aircons at us," Mum said.
"Cortana, Get us in the air," I said. "Red Alert," Then the Klaxon went red.
"Firing Engines," Cortana said then we lifted off the ground. "We're airborne,"
"How far up before we can go to warp?" I said.
"280 Kilometers as least," Cortana said.
"The Aircons are coming into weapons range," Mum said.
"Lock Phasers full spread, Ready Railguns," I said.
"Cortana, Get us out of here," I said.
"Firing engines," Cortana said,
Then we started moving, before we got hit twice.
"Direct hit Shield are at 98%" Mum said.
"Return fire, All Phasers banks," I said.
Where we started to shot back at them.
"We took out 6 of them, But they launch another 39 at us," Mum said.
"Cortana, Evasion pattern Alpha 1," I said.
"It's no use, They're coming from all side," Cortana said.
"Just do it, Cortana," I said.
Then we got hit again.
"Direct hit to the Port Thrusters, we're losing altitude," Mum said.
"Reroute Emergency Power get us into Orbit, Cortana, Bring ZPM 1 online," I said.
"Done, Shield are at 95%, Engines at full," Cortana said.
"We still got them on us," Mum said.
Then we got hit again.
"Thrusters are failing, If we don't get out of this now or we never will," Mum said.
"Cortana, photon Shockwaves, right now," I said.
"Aft Torpedoes loaded, Firing," Cortana said Launch 3 of them at the Aircon. "Firing Phaser banks," Which blew them up and did the Shockwave.
"That did it they're breaking off," Mum said.
"Cortana," I said.
"Thrusters are down we can't," Cortana said.
"What about Emergency power," I said.
"We barely got enough for life support," Mum said.
"What about the rad particles can we use them for a power source," I said.
"Yes, But we need to modify the power grid," Mum said.
"What if put it straight into the Plasma Manifold," I said.
"We'll blow out every power relays on Voyager," Mum said.
"Damn if we do, Damn if we do nothing," I said. "Do it, open the forward nacelle ports and reverse the pressure gradient. Take in 600 Kilograms,"
"Particle concentration at 3000 parts per million," Mum said.
"Release the Manifold, Cortana," I said.
"Rerouting Plasma to the Power conduits, We have impulse back," Cortana said.
"Take us up, Cortana, Full power," I said.
Then we started to go up but.
"13 power relays just blew on deck 6," Mum said.
"Keep going," I said.
"We're crossing the Thermosphere," Cortana said.
"What about the Cons," I said.
"Nothing, But from the looks of it they have there own hands full," Mum said.
"Altitude?" I said.
"260 Kilometers, 270, We've cleared the Thermosphere," Cortana said.
"Set a course for Earth, Maximum Warp," I said. "Engage,"
Then we went to Warp.
"We're clear," Mum said.
"Cortana get repairs on the way," I said.
"Already on that," Cortana said.
"Look like we are going home people," I said.
"What about Megatron," Miko said.
"Doubt we've seen the last of him," I said.
"We're not sticking around to find out," Mum said.
"Too true there, Stand down Red Alert," I said As the Klaxon went off and lights came back on.

We were another hour from home, I left Cortana on the bridge While I went and got some sleep.
But I kept having these weird Dreams. There even had these Tin can thing on it which could kill someone in one shot. There was others, A blue Box, A Man and A woman. But what is it, Why is this happening now, Is this what that guardian meant back there. Guess we will find out later.
But what did she put into me, is that what is causing these dreams or is it for another purpose.
It would be good to get home anyway. Problem is that Megatron will know about Voyager by now.
"Bridge to Jack," Arcee said.
"What is it Cee," I said
"I don't know, Can you come up here," Arcee said.
"On my way," I said.
Then I got back into my clothes again and headed up to the Bridge where it was just Arcee and the 3 we found there. Chromia, Ironhide and Jazz if I remember right.
"What is it, Cee?" I said.
"Have a look at this," Arcee said.
Then I went over to OPS and saw it. 3 ships.
"3 ships," I said. "What about them?"
"It's like they are holding that position like they are waiting for something," Arcee said.
"Or us," I said. "Cortana, Fire up the cloak,"
"Engaging Cloak now, But we have to slow down to Warp 5 to be on the safe side," Cortana said.
"Do it," I said.
"Now what," Arcee said.
"We wait and see what they are, Not like they will see us," I said.
"I didn't know that Earth had this technology," Chromia said.
"It doesn't, Voyager the only ship like this for now, My Granddad was the one who got Her first. Then he gave her to me. Last time I heard, SGC got an Alpha site to make more Ships like this one, But nothing," I said.
Then Optimus has came onto the Bridge.
"Optimus, what are you doing here?" I said.
"I noticed that we slowed down so came to have a look," Optimus said
"3 Ships like they're waiting for something, have to go at Warp 5 for the Cloak to stay intact or get detected," I said.
"Jack, we can see them now," Cortana said.
"Let's see them," I said.
Then there were put up on screen.
"They're Decepticons frigates," Chromia said.
"How'd," I said.
"Trust her, Jack, She knows," Arcee said.
"You stole them from the Cons didn't you," I said.
"Couldn't resist," Chromia said.
"Cortana can they detect us," I said.
"No, From the looks of it they haven't picked up anything. We going to easily smooth pass them and they won't know the different," Cortana said.
"Maintain course," I said.
"If we could take them out," Ironhide said.
"Then they'll know, We got Cloak technology," I said. "We carry on,"
After another hour we were finally approaching the system with home in.
"Jack, we're approaching the Sol System," Cortana said.
"Drop out of warp, Put us on course for where we put Voyager last time," I said.
"Already on it," Cortana said.
"Where are we going," Chromia said.
"Earth's Moon, Only place where Voyager can't get spotted by the Cons," I said.
"I'm not picking up the Nemesis, And we're approaching the moon now," Cortana said.
"Drop the cloak," I said.
Then we decloaked.
"Cortana, Take the warp core offline, Vent all plasma from the nacelles, Inertial dampers to maximum, Bring landing struts online," I said.
"Ready to go," Cortana said.
"Put us down then Cortana," I said.
Not that long later, Voyager was back on the moon, Powered down apart from life support and Transporters. Where we beamed back down to the Base on Earth. Then We all headed home since we were only away for 14 hours, Which we can easy tell people that Miko and Raf was staying over at mine for the night.
Fowler went back to wherever he goes. Ironhide and Jazz stayed at the base while Fowler was finding them a vehicle mode. Chromia took the same Vehicle mode as Arcee. Who decided to come back with Mum and I. Since Mum drove, I went with Arcee back home. Then we pulled up in my garage where I got off Arcee.
"Home sweet home," I said.
"I hate to say it but I miss it too," Arcee said.
"Well I'm hitting bed, Night you 2," I said.
Then left for bed.
But what was going on with me lately. Maybe I feel better after a good night sleep.
