Chapter 10

I waited at the airport for Silvio and his family to arrive. Beautiful was excited to see her friends again. It's been too long since they talked face to face. She was at home preparing the spare bedrooms for our guests. We converted the small main floor office back into an additional guest bedroom. Stephanie wanted Silvio's boys to have their own room during their brief stay. Steph and I were secretly hoping they'd be staying longer. I guess that would depend on any loose ends they had back in Miami.

Beautiful and I reviewed the contracts for Silvio and Rodriguez prior to employment at SI. She was willing to offer them shares in SI after successfully completing their first year of employment. It was the same offer she made to her father, Frank, Lenny, Eddie and the team that makes SI the profitable company it has quickly become. Steph always reassigned some of her shares to offer her employees. Hector and I would immediately re-align our shares to maintain equality between the primary shareholders and investors.

I couldn't be more proud of my gorgeous wife. "Les, thank you for agreeing to pick us up today," Silvio said interrupting my thoughts.

"Hey Silvio. Hi Anna, Chris and James," I welcomed my guests. "Steph and I have a vehicle at the house for you to use during your visit. Anna, Steph is excited to finally meet you in person."

"I'm so excited you agreed to permit me and the boys visit as well. It's been so long since we've been here last. We moved to Miami before I had the opportunity to meet Stephanie. If Silvio takes the job, I'll need to find one or I'll go stir crazy. I hope we get along as well in person as we have during our phone conversations," she shyly added.

"With Stephanie, what you see is what you get. If you two got along during your phone conversations, you'll get along equally well in person. She is the most loving, caring, generous person I know. Anna, if you're interested, there's an accounting position available. Mary Lou could use your expert assistance with the accounting for the two businesses. Steph was planning to place an ad, but I convinced her to wait and ask for you to consider the position." I knew Stephanie wanted to personally ask her, but the need to put Anna at ease was more important.

Silvio led them to the baggage claim while I quickly texted my wife. 'I kind of let the cat out of the bag.'

'LOL. I knew you would. Do you think she'll accept?' I smiled when she instantly knew what I meant. We have an amazing connection. Most days, verbalizing our thoughts was completely unnecessary.

'Definitely. We'll be on our way soon. Love you Baby.'

'Love you too Darling.'

I was smiling when I placed my phone back into my pocket. "I don't think I've ever seen you look so happy," Silvio once again interrupted my thoughts.

"Steph, my Beautiful, makes me happier than I deserve to be. She's my soul mate, my better half. You may not recognize her. She's not the same scared, timid, shy girl you first met," I simply stated.

"Then we should be on our way," Anna interrupted.

I helped Silvio load their luggage into the SUV. Before too long, we were pulling into the driveway. Predictably, Beautiful was waiting for us on the small porch. "Welcome to our home," she said as Silvio pulled her into his embrace.

He kissed her cheek and said, "Thank you for allowing us to stay with you and Les." I slightly lifted my chin to indicate the house for sale next to us. He gave me a slight nod to indicate he noticed.

"Silvio," Anna whispered to her husband. "If you sign the contract, we should look at the house next door."

Beautiful grabbed her phone to send a text. She smiled when it was quickly answered. I had a feeling she was up to something involving our friends and the house next door.

I showed James and Chris the 2 bedrooms available to them. Chris quickly claimed the main floor bedroom. He argued, "I'm the oldest, so I get first choice. Besides, you sleep like the dead, so if there's any 'funny business' happening between mom and dad or Steph and Les, you'll sleep through it." I laughed when he looked at his parents and wiggled his eyebrows.

Steph and Anna blushed bright red. This should be a very interesting night. Judging by the small touches between Silvio and Anna, they had as much difficulty keeping their hands to themselves as Steph and I. After that thought processed through my mind, Beautiful wrapped her arms around me and placed a kiss behind my ear.

I quietly moaned before pulling her against my chest and passionately kissed her. We pulled apart when Chris announced, "Just great! These guys are just like mom and dad, James. It's going to take a lot of bleach to get those images out of my mind." He grumbled as he unpacked his suitcase, filling the small dresser available for his use.

We ordered Chinese for dinner. The boys were surprised with how much food my wife could eat. I know Steph attempted to keep her moans to a minimum, but both James and Chris had difficulty preventing their bodies from reacting.

She quietly mumbled, "I'm sorry guys. I can't help it." I smiled as she blushed a gorgeous shade of pink.

"She really enjoys her food. You guys will eventually get used to her moans," I added.

Anna commented, "I've never seen anyone enjoy their food as much as you Steph."

"It's an involuntary response. The better the food, the louder my moans. I thought I was doing an excellent job keeping the volume under control." I watched as she blushed a deeper shade of pink.

"Beautiful, there's no need to be embarrassed. I forgot to warn Silvio. However, he should have remembered from the last time he worked in the Trenton office." She laughed when I waggled my eyebrows. I grabbed her hand and brushed my fingers over her knuckles. She squeezed my hand before continuing to eat.

After dinner, the boys settled in front of the TV to play games on the X-Box. I had several games appropriate for them to play. Silvio assured me they have more graphic, violent games at home.

We originally scheduled our meeting for the following morning, but Steph insisted on conducting business after dinner. "If we handle all the details tonight," she argued, "then we could spend tomorrow visiting." I watched as Anna quickly nodded in agreement.

I held out my hand for my wife to grab as we maneuvered to the table to conduct business. "I took the liberty of drawing up a contract, assuming you would be interested in transferring to SI," she passed Silvio the contract. "Your responsibilities would be identical to your current job with Rangeman. With SI, you have an opportunity to utilize all your skills. Please read over the contract and review it with your lawyer. If there's a direction you'd like to take at SI, feel free to make notes on the extra page attached to the back. I have also outlined all the departments within SI. If you have a preference of department, mark it on the sheet. Your contract currently overlaps several departments."

"I would like a few minutes to read the details of the contract," Silvio stated.

"Les and I will be in the media room while you and Anna discuss your options," Steph said. I stood up and grabbed my wife's hand. She led me to the basement to watch a movie. I nearly laughed when she selected Ghostbusters, her favourite movie.

During the movie she sent a few texts. I could tell she was up to something because she would smile after reading each reply.

Halfway through the movie my phone chimed. 'I'm ready to discuss the contract,' Silvio texted.

'On our way,' I replied.

"Beautiful, Silvio's ready to discuss the contract." She gave me a small smile before stopping the movie.

"I really hope he agrees to the terms," she whispered as we slowly walked up the stairs. "If he signs, do you think I could have Anna sign this contract?" She showed me the contract I never noticed in her hand.

"Definitely," I replied. Beautiful raised her eyebrows in attempt to just raise the one. I smiled and rubbed the worry from her eyebrows. "Both Beautiful. They will both sign."

We entered the dining room to find it empty. I heard a hurried but whispered conversation coming from the living room. Anna squealed in surprise when Steph asked, "Are you ready to negotiate Silvio?"

He nodded, "Yes. I agree to all the teams as outlined in the contract. However, I will only sign if you offer Anna a job at your lingerie company." Beautiful couldn't stop the huge smile from erupting. She pulled a contract from behind her back.

"Please review these Anna. I have 2 contract options for you. Mary Lou would like to spend more time working at the lingerie business and accounts payable for both companies. She has shares in both. The first contract is for the accounting department head and office manager for SI. I have top of the line accounting software to assist with payroll and accounts receivable. You are responsible for vetting your personal assistant and department employees. I have final say for hiring, once they pass the standard background check. The second contract is only for the accounting department head. I can give you time to read the contracts to determine which would be a better fit for you." Beautiful gave Savannah both contracts.

I knew she was hoping Savannah would choose the option including office manager. She would become Stephanie's right hand man, so to speak. It would certainly alleviate the amount of work Beautiful has taken on. I was planning to leave Rangeman to help, but she helped me realize I would become extremely bored being stuck in the office every day.

Silvio read over the contract details with Anna. "Steph, this first contract seems to imply Savannah would become your second in command," he quickly referred to military terms.

"That is correct. She will also receive shares in SI," she added.

I nearly laughed when Savannah quickly signed the first contract after initialling items as indicated. She gave the pen to Silvio who jotted a few ideas on the last page of his contract before signing. I added my signature as a witness.

"Welcome to Sleuth Investigators Silvio and Anna," Steph said as she handed me the contracts to photocopy. "As per your contracts, you have up to 1 month to move to Trenton from Miami. Your moving costs are covered by SI. We would like to offer you our guests rooms until your family gets settled in your new home."

Both Silvio and Anna hugged Beautiful and thanked her for the opportunity.

We sat in the living room with our guests to plan out the next few days. Steph was excited to give them a tour of their office spaces. Even though they would be working in the same company, they are on separate floors. I could tell Beautiful was excited about working closely with Anna. She was upset Mary Lou wanted to work primarily at the lingerie store, but she also understood Mary Lou wanted a less stressful job.

"I was getting very bored just working in the accounting department every day. It was becoming almost ritualistic. Every day was almost exactly the same as the one before," Anna explained her reason for signing the diversified contract. "I was ecstatic when I read the first contract, giving me other responsibilities to keep the job interesting."

Beautiful laughed. "I completely agree. I may be the CEO, but I talk to many people and I still work on the difficult searches. If I had to sit at my desk all day, I would go crazy." I nodded in agreement.

We talked for another hour before calling it a night.

When Beautiful and I entered our bedroom, I closed and locked our door. "Do you think you could be quiet?" I asked. She nodded. I quickly stripped before removing her clothes. Her lips pressed against mine as I carefully laid her on the bed. I felt her hands grab my ass to pull me closer to her.

"Les, please. I need you in me now," she whispered. I lightly bit her bottom lip as I plunged into her. She pressed her lips tight against mine to muffle her moans. "Move," she demanded. I slowly moved, feeling her pulse around me. She was already so close. I attempted to draw it out. She pulled me closer and wrapped her legs around me. Using my right hand, I gently pulled up her hip to shift the position. I felt her raise her legs to drape over my shoulders. Her orgasm caused her body to shake and pulled me over. My mouth was still firmly attached to hers, muffling our screams.

Her legs dropped from my shoulders. "Wow. How does it always get better?" she asked.

"It's because we were made for each other, Beautiful. You're my soulmate, my other half, my lover, my partner, love of my life and most importantly, you are my wife. I am so proud of everything you accomplished. I'm proud to be your husband. Stephanie, I love you with all that I am."

She kissed me thoroughly before replying, "I love you too Les. It's important to have a loving, supportive husband. I'm honoured to be your wife." I pulled her tight against me before we succumbed to sleep. Tomorrow was going to be a very busy day.
