6 Incredible Heroes
Saying Goodbye
It was late in the afternoon in San Fransokyo and finally everyone was safe as people came out and applauded the Incredibles and Big Hero 6. The two teams smiled proudly together as they looked at the crowd; Bob held up a still deactivated Baymax and waved his hand for him. The police took Sickness, who was still frozen in his zero-point-energy, and wedged him in the back of their car. His eyes moved around before looking back at them when the police finally shut the door.
Honey Lemon showed sympathy as she said, "I know Sickness tried to kill us, but I still feel bad for him."
Helen stood next to her as she said, "Well hopefully they can reverse his zero-point-energy and help him."
Go Go glared at Sickness as she coldly said, "I say good riddance!"
Bob held up Baymax and turned to Violet and Hiro with a proud smile as he said, "What matters is that we stopped him and saved the day, thanks to you two. You kids really stepped up, great job."
Violet smiled happily as she said, "Thanks dad."
Hiro was flattered as he said, "Thanks Mr. Incredible."
Bob smiled at Hiro before turning to everyone else and proudly said, "Call me 'Bob'. You've earned it. All of you. You kids may not have powers but you're some of the best heroes I've ever seen."
Go Go smiled proudly while Fred happily squealed and Honey Lemon and said, "Awww! Thank you sir. That's so kind of you to say."
Go Go suddenly changed the subject as she said, "Alright, enough with the speeches, there's still something we need to do."
Later at the Lucky Cat Café
It was now dark and the power had recently been restored to the city and electronic devices were coming back online. The TV was now showing a news report about how Big Hero 6 and the Incredibles had just saved the city.
Aunt Cass paid no attention to the TV as she stared at her phone and tried to dial it and said, "Oh finally the nightmare is over! The power is back on! Now hopefully the police can help me find Hiro!"
Right on cue, Hiro and his friends entered in their civilian garbs along with Baymax, who had been rebooted, and the Parr family.
A huge smile appeared on Hiro's face as he said, "Aunt Cass."
Upon hearing his voice Cass immediately dropped her phone, turned around, and exclaimed, "Hiro!"
She ran to him and hugged him as she said, "Thank god you're alright!"
Hiro hugged her back and she smiled at the others as she said, "Thank you kids."
Honey Lemon smiled as she said, "You're welcome Aunt Cass, but we don't deserve all the credit."
Go Go smiled as she pointed her thumb at the Parrs and said, "Yeah, we had help from the Parrs."
Cass stopped hugging Hiro and smiled at the Parrs as she gratefully said, "Oh, well thank you all for finding my nephew."
Helen smiled as she said, "You're welcome."
Bob smiled and added, "Yeah, helping people is what we do."
Cass's smile soon turned into an angry expression as she looked at Hiro and said, "And where were you?! You've been gone for two days! And the city was just attacked by an army flying robots! Do you have any idea how worried I've been?!"
Hiro got nervous as he tried to make up an explanation and said, "I'm sorry Aunt Cass! I uh… went Bot fighting. And uh… I won but the guys got mad and uh… they took me some warehouse! I was stuck there all day before I uh… picked the lock. Then uh… I was wandering the streets all night until… uh this morning when Ethel, Heather, Fred, Marcus, and the Parrs found me."
Violet stood next to him and joined him as she said, "Yeah! We tried to call you but then the robots attacked and we uh… were trying to stay alive. So we uh… hid in a building until it was safe to come out."
Cass stared at the two of them, not fully convinced as she inquired, "Is there something you're not telling me?"
Baymax raised his finger and said, "Yes. We…"
Hiro quickly cut him off and said, "Are starving!"
Violet nodded and said, "Oh yeah, we're starving!"
Bob agreed as he rubbed his stomach and said, "Yeah. Saving someone and surviving a robot attack really works up an appetite."
Baymax scanned them all and said, "Starvation is not imminent. However food consumption would be…"
Aunt Cass interrupted and said, "Okay. Let's have some dinner. Let's get some food into your empty stomachs! No charge!"
Dash happily cheered, "Yeah!"
Fred simultaneously cheered, "Yes! Nothing is better than free food!"
They all followed Cass as she walked to the kitchen and cooked food for everyone before sitting down and joining them. They all ate together as they moved two tables together and ate some much needed food. While they were eating Cass smiled as she looked at Violet and Hiro, who sat next to each other, and everyone talked happily.
Hiro happily leaned back in his chair and said, "It's good to be home."
Violet looked out of him out of the corner of her eye and then stared forward as she realized something, and she showed a bit of dread.
The next morning
It was Sunday and the Parrs were standing in the parking lot of their hotel loading their car with all their suitcases. Their vacation was over and they were preparing for the long road trip back home to Metroville. Bob had finished loading their big suitcases into the back of the car before shut the door, while Helen put the baby bag on the floor by the backseat.
Bob walked up to Helen and said, "Some vacation huh?"
Helen fondly agreed and said, "Yeah. A lot more excitement than I bargained for."
Violet walked up to them and hopefully said, "Maybe we can come back again sometime?"
Dash stood next to her as he said, "Yeah."
Bob smiled down as he said, "Maybe. We'll see. But for now we need to get back on the road. Vacations are fun but now it's time for us to head home."
Suddenly they heard Go Go's voice say, "Wait."
They all turned to see Hiro, Fred, Wasabi, Go Go, Honey Lemon, and Baymax standing on the sidewalk close to them.
Baymax waved his hand in a circular motion as he said, "Hello."
The Parrs all smiled as Bob happily said, "Hey kids, what're you doing here."
The six of them walked up to the Parrs while Hiro said, "We just wanted to say 'goodbye', and thanks for everything."
Wasabi happily said, "Yeah, if it weren't for you guys we never could've pulled it off."
Helen smiled as she said, "Well you kids all showed real courage out there, and you showed real skill too."
Both groups scattered as they went to each other as Bob turned from them to Fred and said, "She's right. You kids definitely have what it takes to be real heroes, even you Fred. You're a lot like your dad."
Fred clinched his fists and squealed happily as he said, "Thank you so much!"
Bob fondly shook his head and turned to Wasabi and said, "And Marcus, you may not be the bravest hero but when things get hard you show heart. Trust me when I say your uncle would be proud."
Wasabi rubbed the back of his head with a flattered smile and then pointed his finger while saying, "Thanks. When you see him, tell him I said 'hi'."
Bob smiled and said, "Will do."
Helen put her arms around Honey Lemon and Go Go as she said, "You girls showed a lot of spunk out there. You both really know how to bring a nice feminine touch to the world of supers."
Honey Lemon happily hugged her and Go Go and happily exclaimed, "Aww thank you!"
Go Go smiled and when they stopped Bob and Helen looked down at Hiro as Bob said, "And Hiro, you're a good kid. You really did Tadashi proud!"
Hiro showed a flattered smile as he said, "Thanks Bob."
Bob smiled as he turned to Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack and said, "Alright kids, time to say goodbye."
Dash smiled up at Wasabi and Fred as they both high-fived him, while Honey Lemon hugged Violet, then Violet turned to Go Go and happily fist bumped her. Wasabi patted Violet on the back while Fred fist bumped her, and then Honey Lemon patted Dash on the head affectionately.
He smiled then turned as Go Go kneeled down in front of him and said, "See you around Speedy. Next time you're around I want a rematch."
Dash smiled competitively as he said, "You're on! And I'll still win! Cuz I'm faster!"
Go Go smiled competitively as she said, "And I'm smarter."
Dash frowned a bit as he said, "Yeah, I wish I was as smart as you."
She placed her hand on his shoulder as she reassured him, "You don't have to be. You're great just the way you are. You're the Incredible Dash!"
Dash chuckled and she pulled him in a close hug, much to the others' shock, but then she pulled away and stood up. Baymax walked up to them and stared down at Dash, who smiled up at him as he held his fist out toward him.
Baymax did a fist bump and said, "Bah-a-la-la-la."
The Parrs all chuckled when Violet walked up to Baymax and smiled as she hugged him and said, "Goodbye Baymax."
Baymax hugged her back and shut his "eyes" as he said, "Goodbye."
She pulled away from him and Helen handed Jack-Jack to Baymax while she said, "Come on sweetie. Say goodbye to Baymax."
Jack-Jack smiled at him and said, "Ba ba!"
He floated to Baymax, who grabbed him, and they hugged as everyone said, "Aww!"
Baymax held Jack-Jack as the others gathered around them and Honey Lemon happily pinched his cheek and said, "Bye Jack-Jack! We'll all miss you! Be good."
He giggled and Go Go affectionately moved her finger against his chin as she said, "See ya baby."
Fred stared him in the face and said, "You are the coolest baby in the universe! I will never forget you!"
Wasabi stood behind him as he fondly said, "I have to admit, I'll miss your freaky powers."
Hiro walked up to him and rubbed his head and said, "It's been fun Jack-Jack. See you around."
He stopped and Jack-Jack smiled as he happily said, "Hiro!"
Everyone's eyes widened in shock and Hiro pointed at him and said, "Did he just say…"
Jack-Jack happily repeated, "Hiro!"
Baymax spoke with his monotone voice as he replied, "Yes."
Hiro was speechless as he said, "Shut up."
Helen smiled at Hiro as she said, "Looks to me like Jack-Jack likes you a lot."
Bob smiled as he raised his finger and stated, "Well 'hero' is a word that we use a lot, and it does suit you."
Jack-Jack once again said, "Hiro!"
Hiro smiled as he shook his head and then hugged Jack-Jack and said, "I like you too."
Baymax walked past Hiro, leaned into the car, and put Jack-Jack in his seat before buckling him up and patting him on the head. Hiro smiled happily when suddenly Violet walked up next to him and stared at him with a smile on her face.
When Hiro noticed her he suddenly got nervous and said, "Oh… hey Violet. So uh… I guess this is goodbye. It's been real. I'm kind of gonna miss you, but uh… if you're ever in town… maybe we could…"
Suddenly Violet kissed him on the cheek and Hiro was shocked as he blushed and stared into space, and everyone else smiled as they saw this.
When she stopped she happily said, "Goodbye Hiro. I'll never forget you."
She walked past him to the car while Hiro watched her and put his hand over his cheek where she kissed them.
A huge grin appeared on his face as he softly said, "I'll never forget you either."
The Parrs all got into the car, fastened their seatbelts, and Bob backed out of the parking lot and slowly drove toward the street. They slowly passed Hiro, Go Go, Honey Lemon, Wasabi, Fred, and Baymax as they waved "goodbye" to them. Inside the car the Parrs all waved back to them while Bob rolled down the window.
He happily waved his hand and said, "Goodbye everyone. Take care!"
Hiro cupped his mouth as he shouted, "You too!"
Bob rolled the window back up and drove the car away as they began their long trip back home and left San Fransokyo.
They watched the car drive away as Hiro folded his arms and fondly said, "There goes one incredible family."
Fred looked discouraged as he said, "You think we'll ever see them again?"
Wasabi showed a warm smile as he said, "I hope so."
Honey Lemon agreed as she said, "Me too."
Go Go swayed her hip as she said, "Same here."
Hiro nodded as he said, "Yeah, they are really…"
Baymax then said, "Super."
They all looked up at him, surprised by what he just said, then they all chuckled in amusement. Suddenly the ground started shaking and they heard a loud noise behind them. They turned around to see a giant machine with two enormous drills on opposite ends tunnel from the ground. It stopped and then large metal platform emerged from the top of it with someone standing on it.
It was none other than the Underminer, who spoke into a microphone and said, "San Fransokyo, beware the Underminer! I have returned! I will not stop until I drive this city underground and sink it beneath the sea!"
While he continued ranting Hiro smiled anxiously at his friends, who all showed similar smiles and nodded in agreement. Honey Lemon took Baymax's hand and they all took off running and dragged Baymax away.
The Underminer smiled maniacally as he said, "All of you will tremble before me! For soon you will all be undermined! And no one will stand in my way!"
He was startled when he suddenly heard Hiro say, "No one?"
He turned around to see Big Hero 6 hovering in front of them, all of them holding onto Baymax. Wasabi, Go Go, Honey Lemon, and Fred all let go and landed on top of his machine while activating their weapons and preparing to fight. The last image seen was Baymax launching his right rocket fist at the camera, then the title "6 Incredible Heroes" was shown. The credits rolled and showed various 2D images of Big Hero 6 and the Incredibles using their powers and fighting.
The End
Author's note: At last my story is complete! It was a lot of work but the results were worth it. This last chapter was shorter than I thought it would be, but that's probably for the best. Being the last chapter this was mostly meant to be a nice touching moment where they say goodbye to each other. The ending with the Underminer was just meant to represent Big Hero 6 fighting more dangerous supervillains in the future, rather than just common criminals. In case it's not clear, Violet and Hiro are technically not a couple but they do clearly have feelings for each other. The part where she kissed him was meant to be like a goodbye kiss and to foreshadow the possibility of them becoming a couple in the future. In their current relationship, they have feelings for each other, which everyone can see, but they are both too shy to admit it. I thought the kiss on the cheek would be a nice touch and it would satisfy Hiret fans and compensate for them not actually becoming a couple. I do plan to eventually write a sequel to this story, but not for a long time. I want to work on and start some of my other stories first so you'll have to make do with this one for now. Regardless, I am very pleased with how this story turned out. I dare say this might be one of the best stories I've ever written!
