Finally defeating Jellal, Natsu gives into exhaustion and falls back as Erza catches him, her thanking them both for saving her but soon the place starts to break down at a rapid rage seeing as the magic within the Lacrima had started to become unstable and with nowhere to go, it was going to explode for sure.
"The magic within the Lacrima crystal is warping it's container, even if we leave we'll still be caught in the blast" Erza said soon trying to think of a way out, she decides to use her body to fuse herself with the magic to contain, though it most likely would've killed her.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Jeff asked, as Erza looks at him with Simon over his shoulder and Natsu woke up.
"It has to be this way, if I can fuse with the magic, I may be able to absorb the magic and save you all" Erza said.
"Don't be stupid! If you do such you will die!" Natsu said.
"Don't worry about me, I'll find a way to stop it" Erza said, gradually fusing with it.
"Don't even think about it" Jeff said, grabbing her arm, as she smiles at him.
"Jeff please let go, without friends like you I don't know what my life would've been; to me you and the others are important, though you hold a much more important place in my heart" Erza said.
"Tell me that when we're not dying" Jeff said, pulling Erza out and knocking her out with a strong punch to the gut.
"Natsu, take Erza and Simon out of here" Jeff said.
"What about you?" Natsu asked.
"I'll stop Etherion from exploding" Jeff said.
"Are you crazy?! No one can contain such high amounts of magic" Natsu said.
"That's the thing, being who I am I can nullify all magic be it mutations or emitters, now go!!!" Jeff said, as Natsu grits his teeth before grabbing Erza and Simon, blasting a whole through the wall then jumping out.
"Please be safe" Natsu said.
"Jeff?" Erza asked sheepishly.
"Looks like it's time to use one of my strongest spells" Jeff thought before going to 3rd stage where the black substance on his arms rise to his shoulders, his horns grew longer and his legs started growing that black substance from his toes to his knees and a tail grows out of his back/tailbone.
Flashback…….
"Remember, being the devil you are, you have easier access to dark magic, but your most natural is something called Anti-magic" the mysterious figure said, as Jeff stops what he was doing.
"What is Anti-magic?" Jeff asked.
"Simple, the power to nullify or redirect magic, you can even infuse it with objects" MF said.
"And what are the limits?" Jeff asked getting back to what he was doing before he stopped.
"The possibilities are endless, you could probably stop a large mountain of magic with the right Anti-magic spell or with a flick of your wrist" MF said.
"Hmmmm, interesting to know" Jeff said.
Flashback end…….
"I'll stop this with a spell I made just in case" Jeff thought, cutting his hands with his nails, slamming them together like he was praying, letting the blood pour to the ground to form a circle and star.
"Ultimate Devil Art: 7 Gates! 7 Sins! 7 Kings! SEAL!!!" Jeff said forming a black ball of darkness around him, as the tower explodes, but when it happened the ball sucked in the magic at an alarming rate as cracks started forming on Jeff's body.
"Almost there!" Jeff said, getting his teeth.
"This is the end!" A voice said in his head.
"Let us out you bastard!" Another said, as Jeff was letting it slip bit by bit.
"You worthless piece of shit! You can't do anything right" Another said.
"Die" Another said.
"Shut up!!!" Jeff shouted.
"Just give up, you're too weak" Another said.
"What would your mother have said, you bastard child" Another said, as Jeff lost it for a few seconds and it was about to explode.
"I failed?" Jeff thought looking at the darkness around him, before hands started reaching out, pulling him down into the abyss but a glowing blue hand grabbed his, pulling him away from the darkness and into his feet.
"You haven't failed, you can still stop it my child, after all you're Jeffery motherfucking Hades" A voice said.
"Mom" Jeff said, seeing his mother's face and tearing up.
"Yes, but now is not the time, go and stop that explosion" She said.
"Y-Yes ma'am!" Jeff said, holding back tears before wiping them away, walking forward.
"Oh and Jeff…." She called as Jeff turns back to look at her.
"What?" Jeff asked.
"I'm proud of you" She said with a thumbs up and a grin, causing Jeff to cry but grin as well.
"Thank you" Jeff said with a thumbs up of his own.
"Ultimate Devil Art: 14 Gates! 14 Sins! 14 Kings! SEAL!!!" Jeff exclaimed as the ball of darkness got bigger, sucking up all the magic from Etherion at a faster rate.
"What the hell is happening there?!" Gray asked.
"Who knows, maybe the ceremony is going as planned after all" Shô said in fear.
"It can't be" Lucy said, soon a voice calling out to them to see Natsu with Erza and Simon.
"Natsu! Erza! Simon! You're alright, but where's Je-" Happy said then they realize he was the one back there.
"What does he think he's doing?!" Gray exclaimed.
"Juvia fears for Jeff-Sama" Juvia said.
"Don't doubt him, I know he's got this in the bag" Natsu said, as the magic implodes causing them to fear for the worst.
"NULLIFY!!!" Jeff exclaimed as the magic then disappears completely, causing the shaking to stop but not without a price, seeing as Jeff pushed himself far beyond the limit of his magic to perform such a spell, his build seemingly gave in as his arms and some side of his head turned stiff then to dust, but that didn't last long as he started the regeneration process to gain his arms and the part of his head he'd lost with what little magic he had left before falling unconscious.
"He did it! He really did it!" Gray said.
"That guy became something crazy" Natsu said.
"I-Indeed" Lucy said but the tower then crumbles, breaking down and falling into the sea from the damage it sustained during their fierce battle with Jellal.
"Crap, let's go looking for hi-" Lucy said but Natsu stops her.
"He'd want us to get to safety first, knowing him, he'll be alright" Natsu said as Erza woke up, everyone hugging her and thanking God for allowing her to be there with them until she realized something.
"Where is Jeff?" Erza asked.
"H-H-He's……." Lucy stuttered.
"Right here" MF said, holding Jeff over his shoulder, shocking them all, as Natsu and Gray then take a stance ready to fight.
"Who are you and why do you have Jeff?" Natsu asked.
"Calm down, none of you are currently on my level, besides he was drowning so you should thank me" MF said dropping Jeff on the ground, before searching his pocket and throwing them a vial.
"Give that to him, he should be back to normal when he wakes up" MF said turning on his heel, and walking away.
"Who are you?!" Erza demanded.
"His uncle" MF said as the others are shocked, not knowing he had family; soon calming down to go patch themselves up.
3 days later…….
Everyone of Team Natsu are in a room, with bandages wrapped around each member with the healing process in full swing, the day went by with Natsu soon waking up before falling back to sleep, soon enough Jeff wakes up to all his friends around him before they explain to him what happened.
"That stupid old geezer" Jeff said gritting his teeth.
"Did you ever know him?" Lucy asked.
"Yes, after all he comes for everyone at the end of the road" Jeff said.
"What do you mean?" Gray asked.
"Death, he's Death the Grim Reaper" Jeff said as the others are definitely shocked by this new development.
"WHAT?!" Everyone exclaimed.
Later on the crew eat with the reintroduction of Erza's friends, though later within the next few days they buried Simon and the three left to give Erza space, though they were caught by her they were still released to go follow their dreams but not to forget Fairy Tail.
"I have to get stronger! This power can be held for so much longer!" Jeff said before his pupils shrink and he let out an unholy roar to the black and red sky.
"He's lost control again" Death said.
"This is becoming an everyday thing isn't it?" A female asked, her eyes yellow with slitted pupils, four horns (2 longs ones in the front and 2 short ones in the back), her clothing clinging to her white pale skin, the clothing looked like it was made from spiderwebs with parts covering the sensitive sections of her body, black high heels with spikes as the heels, her messy silky smooth hair white as snow going down her back and stopping at her waist.
"I wouldn't blame the kid, he's trying his best" Death said as the female deadpans at him.
"Okay I lied, he's hardly scratching the surface but with time he'll probably be about to fully access his devil side" Death said.
"Whatever, let us subdue him quickly" She said.
"Right" Death said as they get to work subduing the rampaging devil.
