[Tower[ Baam]

The tree of them stood in front of a massive pit, there were five minutes left on the clock, and even though the clock could be set for fifteen minutes it had started at ten.

All around them were sets of red doors, and sitting in front of them was their examiner drinking coffee.

The test was simple, they just had to open the right door and they would pass.

It was easy enough but what would happen to them if they piked the wrong door, every time someone failed to pick the right door their screams could be heard outside so it was obvious that something bad would happen.

Rak crocodile looking member of their team became fed up with waiting and he just walked up to a random door that caught his eye and kicked it open.

"Congratulations you passed," the examiner said to them

Those words shocked everyone, considering they had to pick a door. that was when it quickly dawned on all three of them that they just had to open a door, the test was nothing more than a leap of faith.

Something that was meant to see if they trusted in their instincts enough that they were willing to put each other's lives on the line, with little to no help whatsoever.

They all walked out of the room and entered another white room, it was just like the waiting room they had been in, except that there were fewer people here, it made sense because there were a lot of people that had failed the test.

"..."

Kuhn seemed to be worried about something, Baam had noticed that even before the team had entered the exam room he had been on edge for some reason

"Mr. Kuhn, what's wrong?" Baam asked his teammate

"I was thinking about that other place, the one that suddenly showed up, I was wondering if it was possible to travel to it and come back to the tower" Kuhn answered Baam

As Kuhn answered Baam he remembered the group of people that he had seen in that dark place, there were people that shouldn't have been there, people that had either gone missing or died along time ago.

In all honesty, Kuihn wouldn't be all that surprised if people that had failed to go up the tower, decided to try their luck inside the castle instead.

Different rules and different skills and that meant that people who were once considered weak inside the tower could be a real threat if they managed to find their ground inside the castle.

"If we can then I'm going there because that where Rachel is" Baam answered Kuhn, there was no hesitation in his voice.

"...What if she doesn't want to be with you Baam?" Kuhn asked his teammate

Up until now the three of them had been walking to a set of nearby chairs, but it was as if Kuhns words had triggered something and all of them had stopped walking all at once.

Baam didn't say anything he just looked straight ahead.

"That isn't possible, Rachel...Rachel has always been with me and I've always been with her" Bam answered Kuhn

The mood had gotten bad, so Kuhn smiled and lightened the tone of his voice.

"Well if you can manage to that then why don't we bring her here and climb the tower with her" Kuhn said to Baam

"Yeah" Baam answered Kuhn as he remembered that Rachel had originally wanted to enter the tower and be able to hold or become a star

Kuhn listened to the tone in Baam's voice and noticed the hope his teammate had, it reminded him of Maria, the girl from his past, no she was more important than being some girl but now she was somewhere so far away that they might as well be strangers.

They finally reached their seats and Rack finally spoke, despite the Wraithraiser not being able to keep his mouth shut earlier, he had been unusually quiet this entire time.

"No one said we can't go there and come back whenever we want," Rak said to the two of them, however, his voice sounded as if he was remembering something too

"That green turtle, he smelled like blood. That was an Alpha, not the kind that leads, but the kind that lives" Rak said as he remembered John standing in front of him

They watched as people began to pass and entered the waiting room, while others screamed as they failed the test, they sat there for what felt like hours until they were told that the test had finally ended and they were each given a room to sleep in.
