Chapter 10
What's up!
Before you complain. I'm gonna skip, I Remember You. but I'll get back to that in the future.
I'll be starting the lich, Finn the Human, and Jake the Dog.
Anyway hope you enjoy it and start.
Wait… almost forgot. I don't own Adventure Time or any of the characters.
Expect of the OC.
It has been hours since the invasion of Gunthers and the day since Finn and Phoebe have moved their relationship to boyfriend and girlfriend.
The scene shows the skied has turned to night and inside the treehouse show Finn and Phoebe sitting on the couch playing BMO.
Phoebe let out a cute yawn, making Finn chuckle a little and making Phoebe blush a little blush and smile" hmm, you tired Finn?" Phoebe asked.
Finn nodded as he started to yawn too." Yeah. we should get ready for bed" Finn said as the duo started to get up and headed towards the bedroom.
Meanwhile at the border of the fire kingdom there you see a flambo running towards the grassland and stopped as he started to catch his breath.
Flambo pants as he looked toward the grassland as he was a long way to get there. " Man, took me a while to sneak past those guards. Still, a long way to get there, but no stopping now." Flambo said as he ran as fast as he could.
Back at the treehouse in the bedroom Finn and Phoebe are sleeping soundly in bed but Finn's dream. Finn is in Billy's crack with a bear wearing a mask and dogs are there too, and Billy is kissing his lady friend.
Then there is a snail sliding towards the enchiridion. Then the bear spoke" Dark times are coming" the bear said. The snail started to whisper some dark chant.
Finn is just sitting there having a good time as Billy's lady friend is doing a rodeo with the bear and Billy is laughing too as his lady friend was in the bear mouth.
"You talk like justice, Billy, but you can't kick a plane," Billy lady friend said making billy frown but then the wind started to blow in the crack and the enchiridion started to flip to different pages as the snail is still whispering dark chant, but then the enchiridion pages stopped, then the snail shape into the Lich standing taller than Billy as he tries to get away but then the Lich strike at Billy's heart.
Finn woke up from his sleep and started to scream and he fell out of the bed, but his screaming woke up Phoebe.
Phoebe rubs her eye and sees Finn on the floor." Finn, what happens?" Phoebe asked as she got out of her tin-foil sleeping-bag. She went to Finn's side and she could see Finn panting in fear.
Finn looks at Phoebe with a concerned look. "Nightmare, this snail was mucking it up. But there were other guys. There were a Bear and some dogs. And Billy's lady and Billy, and Billy were really scared of something fierce. Something real fierce. But the cosmic owl was there, too. Kind of" Finn told Phoebe. Phoebe was worried and confused at the same time.
" Who the Cosmic owl and billy?" Phoebe asked as she didn't know them.
Finn was sort of surprised, but he couldn't judge her as he knew that she was stuck in the lamp for fourteen years.
"Well, Billy was a great hero all across ooo. I met him, I was so excited but was sort of disappointed when I saw him, he was sort of lazy and he stopped being a hero." Finn telling Phoebe when the first time he and Jake met him" he said that "beating up monsters and evil was a hopeless effort" that what Billy said" Finn said.
Phoebe got it as she wanted to know who was the cosmic owl" ok, I got who Billy, But who's the cosmic owl?" Phoebe asked as she wanted to know.
Finn started to think but he doesn't know the whole detail. " To be honest, I don't know much about the cosmic owl at all?" Finn as this was the first cosmic owl dream he had. "The only one who knows about the cosmic owl so much is Jake," Finn said.
" Then should we ask him or something?" Phoebe suggested asking Jake.
Finn thought and nodded" Yeah, let's ask him." Finn said as he and Phoebe went to the living room to his phone.
In the living room, Finn and Phoebe are sitting on the couch as Finn starts to dial the numbers on his phone to call Jake. the phone was ringing until Jake answered with a tired voice.
"Mmm, Finn, why did you call? I was having a nice dream about eating food" Jake said with a tired voice as you can hear a loud yawn on the other side of the phone." Anyway, what do you need?" Jake asked as he wanted to go to bed.
Finn put the phone on speaker"Sorry Jake, But the reason I woke you up, is because I had a cosmic owl dream" Finn said.
Finn and Phoebe heard silence for a bit and Jake spoke again." Whoa… the cosmic owl? Bro what if that was a premonition dream,?" Jake asked as they could tell he was fully awake.
" You think?" Finn asked as he needed Jake's knowledge.
" Could be. What was your dream about?" Jake asked as he wanted to know what his bro dream was about.
Finn took a deep breath as he explained his dream to Jake about Billy and the snail and the cosmic owl being on tv and told Jake about Billy being scared.
Jake got the whole story about Finn's dream" Finn, we better go tell billy about it just in case. He'll know what to do. I'll meet you at Billy's crack" Jake said as he hangs up the phone.
Phoebe looks at Finn as he had a worried look" Finn if you're worried about this Billy guy, and we should probably go meet Jake at Billy's home." Phoebe said as she ran to the bedroom getting ready for the long journey.
Finn walks back to his bedroom to get ready. Finn wears his adventure clothing, the same white bear hat, blue shirt, and dark blue shorts and carrying his green backpack, and Phoebe is wearing her royal dress.
Finn straps his demon blood sword to his back, just in case if they run into trouble.
Finn and Phoebe exit out of the treehouse and head towards Billy's crack in the mountains.
But then after Finn and Phoebe left the treehouse in the distance there you see a running flambo heading straight toward the treehouse as he stopped at the door panting heavily as he ran non-stop to warn Finn.
Flambo gently knocks on the door to the treehouse" Yo! Finn you in there?" Flambo shouted out as the door opened revealing a game console named BMO and seeing Flmabo.
BMO waves at Flambo" well hello Flambo, what brings you out here?" BMO asked as BMO wanted to know what Flambo was doing here and wanted to know why he was panting so much.
Flambo took a deep breath, Flambo inhales and exhales, and told BMO about the assassination at Eldur place on Finn. " Alright, BMOwhere is Finn?" Flambo asked BMO.
BMO places his hand on his chin as he was thinking where they went." Hmmm, If I remember correctly, He and Phoebe went to go meet Jake at Billy's crack to warn him about a dream of some sort or something." BMO said, making Flambo groan angrily, that he ran all the way to warn Finn.
Flambo looks around as he wonders where Billy's crack is? "BMO, do you know where Billy lives?" Flambo asked as he was in a hurry.
BMO shook his head" No, I have no idea where he lives?" BMO told Flambo and he groaned some more.
Now back with Finn and Phoebe, as they were nearly there to Billy's place, as they walk through the rocky mountain area. then the two stopped when they saw Jake pacing back and forward in front of Billy's crack, as he was waiting for the two to show up.
Finn waves at Jake trying to get his attention. Jake looks towards the two and he smiles and waves back." there you two are! I was wondering if you two were never gonna show up" Jake said.
" you know, I don't have powers like yours." Finn telling Jake." and Phoebe doesn't know where Billy lives," Finn said, and Phoebe nodded in agreement.
Jake blush in embarrassment as he just realizes that.
" Ok, let's talk to Billy" Finn heading inside Billy's crack, and Phoebe and Jake follow behind. The trio enters the crack." Hello? Billy?" Finn calls out to Billy and sees him on top of his T.V sleeping.
Jake decided to wake up Billy." Billy, Wake up!" Jake shouted at Billy waking him and Gasp.
Billy got up and looked towards the three uninvited guests" what the heck are you guys doing in my crack?" Billy asked the trio." It's 3:00 in the morning" Billy told the three.
"Oh, you know, just dropped by to say "hello," see what you're been… up to, what, uh, how are these days?" Finn said nervously as he tried to tell him.
Then Jake decided to speak up" We came to see if you're dead." Jake said.
"What? Why would I be dead?" Billy asked the two heroes and the flame elemental girl and she looks nervous a bit.
Finn chuckles nervously" Yeah… stupid. Um, I had a dream about a bear and an old lady and a snail, and you were there and the snail killed you or something." Finn said.
Billy's face gave out a shocked look in fear and looked back at Finn" was the cosmic owl there?" Billy asked.
"Uh, yeah, on TV. Does that count?" Finn asked but Billy spoke again.
" Your dream is an ill omen of grave significance." Billy put his hands in front of Finn for him to go on. Finn walks on Billy's hand and Billy lifts his hand while Jake hangs onto the edge of his hand, and Phoebe hovers next to his hand and in front of his face and spoke" Finn" Billy only said.
" Yeah?" Finn replied.
" Are you ready to come with me on a mission to save all life from The lich?" Billy asked him to save the world with him.
Finn just stood there silent and spoke again" Yes." Finn said.
Later the four are standing in front of the ice kingdom border as Billy told them that they have to snatch all the gems of power from all the crowns.
" Wait, so we have to snatch the gems out of all the crowns of powers?" Finn asked Billy and Phoebe asked a question too.
" Does my gem count as a gem of power?" Phoebe asked the giant hero.
" It does, But we won't be needing it," Billy said to Phoebe as she rubbed her forehead ruby gem.
Then Finn asked another question" But, why do we have to snatch them? Can't we just ask them for them?" Finn asked as snatching would count as stealing.
" No time. The fate of the world hangs in the balance." Billy said and told them there was no time to ask.
" Oh, yeah, I forgot," Finn said as they started their quest for the gems. The first gem they collected was the ice king from his crown and they had trouble getting the engagement ring princess gem, and the more gems they took the closer to defeat The Lich. they found LSP sleeping.
Finn, Jake, and Phoebe kneel next to LSP as she was snoring." Are you sure that's a gem?" Jake asked as he wasn't sure the star on LSP's forehead was a gem.
" I think so." Finn grabs the star on LSP's forehead and begins to pull it out and hear some squishy noise" It's so deep." Finn said as he pulled the star gem completely out of LSP's forehead.
" Gross" Jake said as you can almost hear a gagging noise that Phoebe was making as she found this disgusting.
Finn and Billy ride on top of a giant Jake and Phoebe flying next to them. Finn looked back at his hero and saw his hair flowing the wind as Finn decided to do the same. Finn took off his bear hat and let his long blonde hair flow through the wind. Phoebe sees this and smiles. Phoebe kinda likes when takes off his hat, and she wanted to tell him he looks better without the hat, but next time she'll tell him.
Finn, Phoebe, Jake, and Billy are sitting in a gap somewhere, eating. Finn, Jake, and Billy are eating sandwiches and Phoebe is eating her coal.
Jake shapeshifted his hand into a pouch and moved his face to the pouch where all the gems of power were being held. Jake shook the pouch making the gems clink. " Man, we got so many gems. This is crazy." Jake then looked up to Billy" Hey, Billy, how many gems we still need to get? Two? One?" Billy looked at Jake and nodded. Jake frowned at Billy responding and asked again" Wait, two or one?" Jake asked again and Billy put his hand up and lifted one finger, telling Jake that they need one more" Huh." Jake said.
Finn munched on his sandwich and stopped" I want candy." Finn walked up to Billy's side." You got anything in the saddlebag?" Finn reaches into Billy's saddlebag.
Billy's eyes widened as he felt Finn searching into his saddlebag." Get out of there!" Billy shouted as he pushed him away from his saddlebag.
" Oof!" Finn landed on his back holding something in his arms. He lifts the object in his hands and notices it" The enchiridion?" Finn looked back at Billy with a questioning look" How'd you get this?" Finn asked Billy.
" I found it in the mouth of a bear," Billy said to Finn.
As the enchiridion was mentioned. Phoebe remembers that Finn was talking about it months ago, but she and Finn must have forgotten it.
Billy looks at the group with a serious look" This book is really important. It has magical powers. Turn the little sword sideways." Billy told Finn.
Finn did as he was told he turns the sword sideways, as he did, the enchiridion spring open in the middle revealing a slot of some sort.
" Whoa!" Finn exclaimed in shock.
Then all of a sudden the gems in Jake's pouch started to float towards the enchiridion fitting the slot on the enchiridion. The gems were placed in the enchiridion making the gems glow and the glow began making the gems light pointed at the center forming a red sphere.
" Exhibeo carnotum," Billy said as the Red sphere began to form a holographic object.
Finn, Phoebe, and Jake were awestruck.
" What is this stuff?" Finn asked Billy.
" Hold on," Billy told them as he began to hum and the headpiece on Billy's head and the blue gem began to glow as Billy tried to focus the blue laser to the shield on the bottom left side of the enchiridion, and it also pops open and revealed a person who was similar to keyper but with a cap with a book on top of it.
" Hello, my name is booko!" booko introduces itself as booko" What you see here is a map of the multiverse. It shows all the known dimensions and the links between each of them. This is the dimension that contains the universe in which we currently reside" Booko said as he explained.
Then Jake spoke," Enhance!" Jake shouted as it enhanced the ooo over and over again" Whoa. Mmmmm! Make it stop!" Jake shouted at the map.
Booko clears his throat" Anyway, at the center of the multiverse is a dimension called The Time Room, believed to be the quasicorporeal dwelling place of The Almighty Prismo. The Time Room is the dimension that exists outside of time. The time room produces the time waves that are experienced by other dimensions. Some have permanent links that allow travel to and fro. Others become linked temporarily by naturally forming wormholes, and others can become linked artificially by magical portals torn open by items of great power." Booko explaining how dimensions travel works." Once the last gem is inserted into the Enchiridion, it will have the power to create a portal to any dimension in the multiverse. An activated portal creates a time dilation in which either end of the portal experiences a temporal synchronization, allowing for the safe passage of particles…" Booko stops to inhales deeply to catch his breath and speaks again"... through a nonlocal region of space-time." Booko has done explaining.
Billy taps at Finn's head getting his attention" I'm gonna push The Lich in there." Billy tells Finn that he plans to push the Lich into a portal.
" Oh, cool," Finn said as he agreed to the plan.
Jake stands up and walks up to Finn" Let's go get that gem." Jake said.
" Yeah!" Finn exclaimed, but then Phoebe noticed Billy staring at Finn, and Jake. It started to weird her out, but she also noticed something different about him. He wasn't giving any body heat at all. Thanks to her heat-scent, she could scent any heat-signature from warm bodies.
Then they finished up and headed to the candy kingdom where the last gem was.
When the groups reach the candy kingdom, Billy decides to stay behind" I'll wait here, go get the gem and put the last gem into the Enchiridion" Billy said as he walks into the woods.
Finn then spoke," Wait, you're not coming with us?" Finn asked.
Billy shook his head" I can't go with you, Finn, you must do this" Billy said as he stepped into the cotton candy forest.
Finn then stops and looks at Phoebe and Jake." okay, no turning back" Finn said as the group walk to the candy kingdom
Finn, Phoebe, and Jake were in front of the candy kingdom.
Finn looks at Phoebe" Pheeb," Finn called out. Phoebe looked at Finn" I need you to wait here" Finn said, a shocked look.
" W-what?!" Phoebe exclaimed," why do I have to wait here?" Phoebe asked as she crossed her arms and frowned at her boyfriend.
Finn sweatdrop" Pheeb, I know you're not happy about this, but I need you here just in case something goes wrong," Finn said as Phoebe nodded as she understood.
Phoebe sigh" Ok, I'll wait out here, but make it quick, I don't want to be here all night," Phoebe said.
Finn nodded as he and Jake entered the candy kingdom and Phoebe waited outside the candy kingdom wall. Phoebe paced back and forward, waiting for Finn and Jake to get the gem.
Later Phoebe sees Finn and Jake coming toward her, but she notices something on Finn's face. She noticed a cut on Finn's Face it was bleeding. Phoebe's eyes widened in shock and with worried.
" Finn, what happened?" Phoebe asked as he and Jake ran past her. So she went after them and caught up with them.
Phoebe runs next to Finn's side and she sees him pull out the Enchiridion and see PB gem. Finn inserted the final gem into the Enchiridion, as the last gem was inserted, the slot close and began to shake in Finn's hands and started to glow and the skull started to chat something and exploded and the bird on it flew off and the sword started to cut the Enchiridion and black liquid started to cover the book and harden turning it into a block.
Finn gasps as he doesn't know what to do. Then Billy steps out of the cotton candy forest.
" Hurry" Billy shouted at them. Finn kept running toward Billy with the block in his hands.
The candy kingdom portcullis opened up and then Princess bubblegum came running out and shouted at the group" Finn, stop! That's not Billy! It's The Lich!" PB warning them.
Finn, Phoebe, and Jake turn their heads." Huh?" Finn said as the three kept running toward Billy.
Then the gumball guardian came up" Lich alert! Lich alert!" The Gumball guardian shouted as it fired a beam out of its mouth and hit Billy's face as he dropped to his knee as there was smoke coming off his Face.
" Billy!" Finn shouted and ran quickly to check on Billy. Phoebe saw this and ran quicker too. But then the smoke cleared from Billy Face and revealed the left side of The Lich face with an angry look.
Finn, Phoebe stop in their tracks as everything has darkened.
" B-Billy," Finn said as he saw the Lich wearing Billy's body.
Then The Lich started to crawl toward the two" The book, Finn. Give me the book." Billy said as he tried to reach for the book. Finn gasps as he and Phoebe start to back away from The Lich. " Quickly, child! We're running out of time." Lich said as he was still crawling towards the two.
" Lich! You - you messed Billy up. You just want to mess me all up, mess everyone up. You tricked us." Finn said as he and Phoebe are still backing away from The Lich.
" No, child, it's all true. The book has great power. I can make you live forever, anything you want, just give me the book!" Lich leaped toward the two, but Finn and Phoebe jump over him.
" No, no, no, no, no, no no, no. no more tricks! You'll never get this book!" Finn said as lifted the book high and slammed it on his knee cracking the book.
Phoebe stood there hearing The Lich shouting *No!* and Finn repeatedly slammed the book in his knee again and again, until the book started to glow all the colors. Phoebe looks back at the Lich and sees him smiling darkly, her eyes widen in fear as The Lich wanted this. She tried to tell Finn to stop but the book exploded pushing the two to the ground.
The Lich started laughing as the portal was open in front of him.
PB shouted" Oh, no! Finn, what did you do?" PB asked as Finn and Phoebe were getting up.
The Lich continue to laugh" Wha? Wha?" Finn said.
The Lich Stop laughing and got up and started to walk through the portal and look at Finn with an evil smile" Ah. Thanks, Finn. I couldn't have done it without you." Lich thanking Finn.
" Jake, stop him!" don't let him through that portal!" PB shouted. Jake stretched to The Lich and grabbed a hold of his leg. The Lich tried to shake him off and he kicked away but his arms stretched too as he was still holding onto the Lich. The Lich growled and walked further in.
PB shouted again" Hang on, Jake!" Pb told Jake was being dragged then he planted his foot to the ground but was still being dragged to the portal.
" What now, Princess?" Jake asked as he was having trouble holding The Lich back" Ah!" Jake yelled as he was doing the best he can then Finn came running towards Jake to help him.
" Hold on, Jake!" Finn shouted as he jumped at Jake grabbing hold of him and planted his feet to the ground to help Jake, But it also dragged both of them into the portal.
Phoebe sees Finn and Jake getting close to the Portal. Phoebe had to act fast, she flew towards them as they were completed in the portal she flew in the last second as the portal closed.
The camera pans out leaving behind the gems of power, the screen faded to black.
Hey there, I was planning on making this the longest chapter I ever have written.
But something got me thinking.
Some of you are wondering, how would Finn and Phoebe feel each other, and some of you are thinking, To be some training between them to help Finn and Phoebe to help Finn's fire-resistant or maybe a special amulet that can help Finn.
To The Book of Eli: No. I'll make Pheeb something more, something like Finn. Don't worry, If you read one of my other stories. Adventure Time AU.
