Hi guys. I am sorry for getting this chapter out too early, its just that I have to go somewhere later so I won't have time to post this chapter later. But, anyway, this is chapter 9. (Woohoo)

(Tobias' POV)

I am laying on my chest on a bed in the infirmary as the doctors are working quickly on getting the bullet out of my back. I feel dizzy and tired. It's probably what they injected me with a needle. Probably so I don't feel the pain-

I wake up, Christina is on a bed next to me. As I remember what is happening Christina says, "Your awake."

As I am about to say 'It's my fault you got hurt,' Matthew enters the room and says, "It's all my fault you two got hurt."

"What do you mean Matthew? If I didn't leave the room both me, and Christina wouldn't have been hurt. It's all my fault," I say.

"No it's my fault, I didn't help you fight them. I should have helped you two instead of just standing there."

"No, it's not your fault Matthew. You are a scientist. You are not someone who would fight," I say.

"It's none of your faults," begins Christina, "first of all Matthew... Four is right you are a scientist, not someone who would fight, and second of all Four... you left the room because your father was outside so it's none of your faults. Okay?"

Matthew and I nod. Then a blond hair, small, grayish-blue eyed girl about 16 enters the room. My eyes widen. So do her's.

"Tris," I say at the exact same time she says, "Tobias."

I get up, and we both run to each other. We put our arms around each other in a big hug.

"Y-Your here," I say, I look around at Christina and Matthew, their facial expressions haven't changed.

I look back at Tris, her hands are on her head, she starts moaning, "What's wrong," I say worried.

She pants as she is saying, "Christina... Matthew... are you... Memory serum?"

"What?" I say.

She calms herself down before saying, "T-This isn't real. Is it? Christina and Matthew are just the memory serum a-attacking me. Are you the memory serum? You can't be the real you because this is about me, you can't be here. Can you?."

I don't understand what she is saying, "I am real. What do you mean Christina and Matthew are the memory serum? They are 'themselves'-" She interrupts me by kissing me. She holds me by putting her hands on my cheeks, my hands are around here, holding her.

"You are real," she says. Then everything around us starts to change. It gets louder and louder.

She moves her head side to side before saying, "Bye. Tobias, I want you to remember, I love y-"

Everything ddisappears.

I am back on a bed in the infirmary. I stampede up, "Tris," I mumble.

"Wait, you are not supposed to be up yet," says a girl next to me. Christina.

"B-But where... Tris," I mumble again.

"What?" says Christina.

"T-Tris," I say.

"Four. She is not here right now," says Christina

"But I saw her," I say

"Four lay back down," says a boy behind me about my age. Matthew.

"But I saw her," I say once again, as I lay down.

"It-it could have been just a dream," says Matthew.

"I don't think it was," I say, "why can't I get up, I don't feel any pain?"

"That's because they gave you a very powerful painkiller," says Christina, "you have to stay laying down, the wound can start bleeding again, I know they bandaged it up, but it can still start bleeding again."

Then a woman enters the room. A doctor, "He can leave if he wants to, we are just running the final test."

"What test?" asks Matthew.

"Well we were looking at his genetics, and there were small spots of memory serum in him, we took them away - or I should say killed the memory serum in him - by inoculating him. So we just want to see how the serum got into him," says the doctor.

"Does that mean he forgot some things?"

"No," says the doctor, "no because for some reason the memory serum wasn't trying to hurt him... it was almost as if the memory serum was attacking someone else, which is surprising because it was the enhanced memory serum that was attacking him."

"What? But if it was the enhanced memory serum isn't it supposed to make him forget? What happened that the memory serum didn't work?" asks Matthew.

"Well one reason is that he has some traits of Divergent, but even Divergent can't resist against the enhanced serum. But anyway we don't know the rest. Well anyway, follow me." she says.

She takes us to a different room.

In the different room, the doctor stands in front of a computer screen she looks at it for a while then look at us, she looks shocked, "The serum, i-it had someone else's genetics."

"Who's?" asks Christina.

"Tris Prior."

So that's the end of this chapter. In the reviews tell me what you think about this chapter. Did you like it or did you not? Also, give me some suggestions (be Candor). Thank you!
