After Pythia craftily snuck that line in, at the end: "If you two want her to accept you both, then you need to work together." I almost felt like I'd been tipped upside down. Could she have not made it any clear? I didn't want Northman to think he had owner ship over MY daughter. That would make it harder for me to build our relationship, with his involvement. And after her parting fucking words, he's been pestering me none stop, until we parted ways at the door's of Merlotte's.

Though it took every ounce of control I had not to walk in through those doors and claim my daughter right there and then. We did agree that he needed to threaten the shifter, so not to reveal my appearance here tonight to Sookie.

Now I was worried what Northman was cooking up in Merlotte's; but I needed to clear my mind and pay Adele Stackhouse a visit. Perhaps a few threat in order to set up my reunion with my daughter. With that thought I closed my eyes and focused on Adele Stackhouse's front door. I'd be polite this time, instead of invading her personal space the way I did before.

I knock on her door, and frowned when there was no answer. I listened in with my perfect hearing, that's more in tune than humans and my frown deepened. Nothing! Maybe the old bat wasn't in? Hu? Spinning on the spot on my heel I pop back to my palace and call it a night. The less involvement I have with the old woman the better, as I may just blast her head off with how much she infuriates me. I'll try another night, or get Northman's involvement in all of this. Perhaps another none-human person will freak the old bat out enough to use my name, to save her own skin.

Eric's Point Of View.

I sensed no other pure blooded supernatural in the building, except for Merlotte and I know the Fairy King was long gone, I hope. IF he truly did see me with my arm around his daughter, I really wish I could have seen the look on his face. I don't think this process will be as easy as the old fool thinks. She wasn't raised in our world.

So upon entering I went straight for the area in which Sookie appeared to be working in, completely ignoring the stares, I new my tall "buff" Viking frame was getting. "Buff" is a new word Pam my Vampire child has learned recently from one of her any female companions. I was watching Sookie and the blonde haired man, I found myself not liking how close he is to her, and not sure how I felt about that thought also.

"JASON! piss off or I'll tell G-gran about the the time you got that poor girl pregnant, then made her get an abortion because your drunken ass couldn't handle the thought of responsibility. If it wasn't for me and Tara covering your ass; when you begged us to scare her away you'd be doing homework with your kid instead of fucking anything with a pair of boobs and being a drunk." She said it so quietly, no other human would have heard it. She then added "You showing an interest when it suits you is freaking me out." Then she stomped off, to the direction of the bar, where a dark haired girl was watching Jason, through narrowed eyes, whilst cleaning the same spot on the bar.

She and Sookie started chatting, completely ignoring everything else around them for a minute.

"Ooiooi buddy keep yer eyes off me sista." A slurred voice spoke from above me. I glanced at him.

"Maybe you should get your own eyes tested, or quit the flow of liquid poison because it's clearly causing your brain to malfunction and your judgment to be clouded." I tell him, and smirked when his eyes lost focused and he frowned in confusion. All of a sudden I had Sookie in front of me too.

"So sorry about him sir." I raised my eyebrows at her 'sir' comment. She shook her head, which the drunken idiot clearly ignored.

"He was eyeing you up." He argued. "I was just doing the brotherly thing." His voice seemed to gained a bit of control defending himself to who he thinks is his... sibling.

"Jason, have you forgotten what I told you not even five minuets ago?"

"Why's he here anyway? I've never seen this dude before and he's steeling my females"

"For fuck sake Jason." Merlotte appeared in that moment.

"I think it's time you went home Jay." He told him.

"Fuck you Merlotte, I ain't done shit!"

"Do you need help turfing this twat out Merlotte?"

"NO! This is my bar Northman, not your shit-hole." The shifter said. I rose to my full height causing a few gasps, and 'oh my gods' from the female's nothing i'm not used too. I just tune them out.

"My bar's not a shit-hole Merlotte. Your's needs a shit tone of upgrading before it falls down in a gust of wind. Either get the shit outta my face, or I will personally throw him out myself."

"Who the fuck do you think you are mister." The drunken twat said. I glanced at Sookie, who as glancing between the three of us.

"It's your choice Sookie." I tell her. Her blue gaze landed on me, closed her eyes briefly, opened them and sighed.

"Go home Jason if you can't behave."

"Will you tell Gran?" I saw Sookie flinch slightly.

"I wont if you go home now." She tells him.

He looked between the three of us, and went over to the bar, and asked the bar girl for a beer. She glanced at Sam who nodded, so she poured him one, and he walked out of Merlotte's with it, without paying. Another guy came over.

"I'll drive him home Sookie." She smiled at him, in thanks. I found I didn't like that either. Why the fuck was I feeling this shit? Was it something related to what Brigant had his boxers in a twist over? And the Ancient Pythoness crypticness.

"Thank you Hoyt."

"Now, do kindly leave my bar Northman."
