Day 24 – Drowning
Yugi wasn't meant to drown in simple things. There were a thousand other students in the business program, all thriving, who went to weekend parties and had girlfriends and declared college "the time of their lives." They didn't sit in the library until it closed. They didn't struggle to memorize lectures, didn't panic the moment of the test. They didn't waste time daydreaming about a long-ago arcade trip with Joey and Ryou and Anzu where the whole world was contained in the striking of an air puck and the cheers of his friends screaming, You won, you won, you won!
