Chapter 8:Death Of A Friend

"Team 2,you guys had been performing greatly last year so we would like for you to do the honor to escort our Daimyo to our village."The Hokage said,giving us the mission details.

"It's truly an honor,Hokage-Sama."Aoba-Sensei bowed.

"Hell yeah!You hear that Tsundere Hyuuga,Itachi!?We are the best team ever!"Tenma celebrated,jumping up and down everywhere.

"This is Daimyo we are talking about,there is still a possibility for people like Sadai to appear,just like our first C-Rank Mision."Itachi-Kun reminded.

"Yeah,idiot Tenma,you're gonna get killed if you think this is is an A-Rank Mission for god sake."I shot out.

"There, aren't going to argue just before our mission right?"Aoba-Sensei said,stopping us from quarrelling.

"Let's meet at the gates in ten minutes,remember to pack enough ninja supplies."Aoba-Sensei commanded before leaving in the winds.

"Let's go."I said before dragged them out of the office.

"Oh Ho Ho!So this is the Team 2 I have heard so much about."Daimyo said,holding his fan in front of his face.

"I must say,100 D-ranks,50 C-Ranks and an A-Rank is quite you for your service to the country."He praised as he began to mount onto the carriage we are suppose to protect.

"I thank you for your praises,Daimyo-Sama."Aoba-Sensei said politely.

"It's a pleasure to be working with Fire Guardians as well."Aoba-Sensei continued

"Let's do our best to protect the leader of our country."The guardians bowed with an equal respect.

"Itachi-Kun,I have a question to ask you."I started.

"What is it,Hikari-Chan?"Itachi-Kun hummed.

"Have you ever wonder the feelings and emotions of a family killer?"I asked a question that is almost like a death trap.

"You mean killing a whole clan,like how the Uzumaki's ended up?"He tilted his head.

"Y…Yeah,sorta?"I squeked.

"If it's an outsider,I doubt he would feel any 's a different story if it's a clansman."He said pausing as he started to look around.

"Strange,I thought I felt someone."Itachi-Kun said abnormally.

"A clansman would've been devastated since it is highly possible a mission made by a higher-up to do so."He explained,almost saying out the truth.

When I raised my head,everything skies are orange and everything is blood red.I saw Itachi-Kun lying against a tree.

"What the….Itachi-Kun!Itachi-Kun!"I shouted,shaking the downed boy.

"Hikari-Chan….it's all you…fault."He whispered into my ears.

"What!?Nononononononono!"I murmured,staring at my bloodied hands.I inspected more clearly and I found out he was indeed hit by a palm.

"You selfish bastard!I should've known you were so willingly to kill to gain better eyes."Tenma said,with his body stuck in a tree and ears bleeding.

"I wouldn't do it!Stop!Make it stop!"I shouted,kneeling down and clutched my head.

"Kai!"A familiar voice called out.

"Huh!?"

"Hikari-Chan,are you alright?"Itachi-Kun seems like I was trapped in a genjutsu.

"I…I….I'm F-f-fine."I said weakly,trying to get back on my feet.

"Hahaha!You guys are simply amusing,never thought I would find so much pawn on a mission."A masked guy said.

'What the-I can't move….my body is screaming that this guy is danger.'I thought,trying to move my body.

"What pawn you were saying huh?Punk!"Tenma shouted.

"Oh…I wonder such a cooprate team..hoq would they hate the world or how are they going to destro themselves if one of them dies."The masked man voiced out his dark thoughts.

"We would never die!"Tenma shouted back again.

"Ah!Such naive thoughts,remiinded me of someone in the past."

"Shut up!"Tenma started to rush the man.

"Wait!Tenma!Don't!"Me and Itachi-Kun shouted both running behind him.

"Gotcha!Wha—"Tenma's attack phased through the man and soon after his phased through he was cut through his nack.

"Tenma!No!"I shouted,rushing to his masked man seems to stop his eyes,tells a lot of stories,sad ones,the ones that brought despair

"A Hyuuga and an Uchiha as a team,that's rare…but that would bring more despair."The man walked slowly towards hands cupping my face since I'm closer to him.

"Such beautiful eyes….so much power behind eyes that sees the future."My eyes were widened.

"How did..."

"How did I know?I have my ways.I wonder what are the ways to awaken that ability though…..you can only see a second despair can you see through those eyes,How will you see to humanity's end?"He said,boring his single sharingan eye into my silver Byakugan.

"And you….I warned the clan before and I will warn of the Senju or even Senju related should not be trusted."His eyes bear even more hatred and anger towards Itachi-Kun,despite how his advice makes sense.

"You two will be of a great tool."He said,letting go of my chin.I lost my balance and sat down on the dirt road.

"Until we meet again,Future-Changers."He said,dissapearing through a distorted space.

"W-who was t-t-that."I subconsciously,chuddled with Itachi-Kun,trying to find confort but it failed when I caught myself staring at Tenma's corpse.

"Tenma….really died."I almost cried…no,screw that!I cried even my Byakugan can be mistaken as the Sharingan.

"He died a hero,Hikari-Chan.."

"No!He did not!Don't you see?HE WAS SLAUGHTERED!"I bit the words out one by one.

"Hikari-Chan…"

"He was our teammate and I failed to save him…."After that I fell unconcious due to mental exhaustion.

"Oi!Tsundere Hyuuga!"

"Tsundere?Hey!"

'Tenma…'I though as the voice echoed during my sleep.

"It's all your fault!"His voice turned into anger.

'No..'

"You knew!You could've seen that!Why did you lied about your eyes!"

'No!No…No!'I repeated,my sleep is disturbed by that as I shot out of my bed.

'Eyes that sees the future!You had those,why did you not use it!?'His voice still echoed.

"Nonononononononononono"I murmured under my breath,like a broken record.

'It's all because of your blinding love for that Uchiha!'

"I said I did not!"I screeched,pushing the glass of water off my bedside table,destroying it.

"No…."I spaced out eyes locked onto the water that was slowly turned red…like blood.

"I'll kill you for this"That voice became so much more realistic.

"Don't…..Hinata-Chan still needs me…."I clutched my head.

'Onee-San….why did you let him die?'

"Hinata-Chan!I-I-I-I-I…."

"Itachi-Kun!"

The images flashed again and again.I was tortured,my first witness to the death of alt friend.I was walking on the streets like a zombie day by day,even the most cold blooded Man in this village flashed me a pitiful look.

"Hikari-Nee-Chan…."Hinata looked at me worriedly.

"No!Don't come near me!"I screeched and stepped back from the door steps.

"Please!I don't want you like this!"She said in a familiar volume.

"It's not my fault….It's not my fault…It's not my fault…"I repeated again,hugging my knees and stared at the ground 's cries was muffled out by all of my dark thoughts.

"Lady Hikari,you have to stop this instance!You are destroying yourself."Head Maid said as she sending a bowl of Udon for me.I refused to eat and we have been argues for a few hours already.

"As I told you head maid,I am perfectly see F.I.N.E."I said,poking my head.

"You have PTSD,I knew not lie to a clan that have all seeing eyes."She said,force feeding me.

"….."

"You have been restless for a few nights Hiashi was so devastated and dissapointed."She informed.

"But Tenma was…"

"Not your fault."

"Then what is!?I have future seeing eyes!Yet I still can't do anything!"I shouted back.

"You can,by moving forward from his have been acting like Kakashi-San."She said,picking up a book besides me.

"How A Shinobi Dies?You wanted to be a tardy woman just like Kakashi-San."I shook my head.

"Then wake up,Lady Hikari.I'm so pained when I saw you suffer from this.I can hear your every whisper and every shouts."She said,hugging me like I was a teddy bear.

"I…..I will."I said,my emotions stablized…..for now.
