This isn't a new chapter but rather a quick update on the story and its progress. I feel like this entire series could've been a million times better than the finished product. A lot of the convoluted nonsense was due to the fact that I felt pressure to rush updates out before I really even had given them much thought, time, or effort. Obviously, I know a lot of people love this story and have been following along since the first installment was released just a little over three years ago.
I'm not stopping the series, but I will be re-doing everything. I'm thinking most of the storylines will be the same, but I want to go back and take the time to give this series the time and effort it deserves.
So, in conclusion, I will be restarting the "House We Built" series completely over. There will be a new version of "The House We Built" within the coming weeks. AJ, Alexa, Bayley, and Finn will still be the main characters. BayLexa shippers may be thrilled to learn that they will still be a couple; Whether or not I decide to pull the trigger on that right away or slow burn it is still up in the air.
I just want to say thanks to everyone who read this series from the beginning. It's my longest-running series on my page and as I've re-read some of the entries I've realized I've grown as a writer and I want to give back to those people with a story we all can be proud of.
