Two nights later Alessandra knocked on Randy's apartment door. He answered it smiling when he saw her.

"Hi." He said.

"Hi." She went inside. They kissed.

"You don't have to knock next time " "Just come on in."

"Ok."

"How was your day?"

"Good."

"Come on, I want to show you something." They went over to the bookcase. Randy removed the hidden panel.

"The code for this is 4-1-8-4."

"Ok." He put in the code and the bookcase opened up to the secret room. "You have a secret room?"

"Yeah." "Come on."

They went down the stairs. The incinerator was gone. Lined up all along the walls were glass refrigerators, filled with what appeared to be bags of blood.

"What is this?" Alessandra asked.

"This used to be where I incinerated my victims." "Now it's where I'll be storing my blood." "Don't worry, it's all taken from donors."

"You mean stolen from a blood bank?'

"I didn't steal it but yeah."

"Who did?"

"I've got connections."

"How do you really have all this money?"

"I told you, stocks." "In the 1900's when they became a thing, a bought a few." "Then a few more and it just grew from there." "Come on, I wanna go outside."

They went back upstairs and outside. Randy made sure nobody else was around. He went behind Alessandra.

"Do you trust me?" He asked.

"Yes."

"Close your eyes." She did. Randy grabbed her. "Don't worry, I won't let go." She was confused when he said that. Suddenly she didn't feel the ground beneath her feet anymore. About ten seconds passed. "Alright, open your eyes." When she did she saw that they were flying.

"We're flying!" They could see all the lights from the buildings. "This is beautiful."

They went to a tree overlooking the Atlantic ocean lit by the moonlight.

"This is great." Alessandra said.

"I want to give you something." He took a sliver ring with a ruby in it out of his pocket. "When I was still alive, when we believed that we found our soulmate." "We would give them this ring." "It bonds us together forever and is a sacred promise that we'll always love each other."

"That's beautiful." He put the ring on her finger. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Around the same time Annie was taking a short cut down an alley to get home.

"Excuse me." A mans voice said from behind her. She turned around and saw a man in full vampire face behind her.

"Ahhhh!!!" She screamed and started to run but didn't get very far before he grabbed her.

"That was fun, but I'm hungry " He bit her.
