Danny stares at the students gathered together, relief spreading across his face. "Boy am I glad to see you guys! How'd you even find me?" Mina points to the Booo-merang, imbedded in a piece of rubble. "We followed that thing. Momo remembered you mentioning it was locked into you, so I threw it!" "Looks like we made it just in time, ribbit." Tsu comes over and frees Danny from the restraints.
"Thanks Asui," says Danny, standing up and rubbing his wrists. "No problem, and call me Tsu," she replies. At the other end of the room, Plasmius gets to his feet. "Well, apparently this is now happening..." he says with irritation. He presses a button next to the canisters. They open with a hiss, the Nomu becoming consciousness. "So, what'd we miss?" Asks Todoroki.
"To sum up, that's Plasmius my arch enemy, those are Nomu made from clones of me, and they are about to attack us." Danny assumes a defensive pose. "Indeed," says Plasmius. "Though the pleasure of killing him is for me alone. Is that understood?" He speaks to the Nomu, and they prepare to fight. Some of them even have parts glowing green. "I'm going to enjoy this thoroughly," Vlad says to Danny, cracking his knuckles. "We'll see about that, Fruit Loop. As for me, I'm Going Ghost!!!" The silver rings fully manifest around Danny this time, allowing him to transform into Danny Phantom. "Nomu, attack!!!" Plasmius orders, as the combatants charge towards each other.
The Nomu quickly split the students from each other as Danny and Plasmius fight one on one. The Ice Nomu chases after Iida, shooting icicles at the speedster. The Muscular Nomu goes after Kirashima and Mina, the former activating his quirk to block two large fists. The Bone Nomu fights Tsu and Deku, who tries to land a punch but phases through the now-intangible bones. Bakugo and Todoroki take on the Ecto Nomu, blocking and dodging its hand blasts of ectoplasm. The last Nomu is fought by Momo, who's quick to smash it with bo staff she created, and Uraraka, who slams it to the ground with a judo takedown.
The Ice Nomu is unable to keep up with Iida's speed, so it tries creating obstacles like ice spikes out from the wall, and even trying to freeze the ground. Fortunately Iida's had practice fighting against an icy opponent from his recent sparring with Todoroki, and his reaction time has never been better. Though Iida knows he can't keep it up forever, and Ice Nomu starts creating ice ramps to slide around the area and speed up. Thankfully, he spots Mina up ahead.
"Mina, get ready!" he yells. She gets out a Ghost Grenade. "Lead it this way by Kirashima!" He nods and alters his direction. Mina sprays acid behind Iida into the Nomu's eyes. It roars in pain and continues towards Kirishima. The sturdy hero sees what's coming and leaps aside for it to smash into his own Muscular opponent. "Now!" he yells, and Mina throws the grenade. It explodes and unleashes a green gas. The Nomu are momentarily stunned, but the gas doesn't seem to affect them long. The Ice Nomu continues its chase while the Muscular Nomu advances on Kirishima again.
"Damn, they must have regenerative quirks worked in!" Kirishima yells. "Then let's try peeling them down to nothing!" Bakugo yells. "Switch with me!" He blasts up into the air and activates the Fenton Peeler as Kirashima charges at the Ecto Nomu. It quickly armors him up and launches a beam at the Muscular Nomu. Layers of skin and muscle peel away, until it can barely stand. "Hey Frog, use the thing!" Tsu aims the capture gauntlet on her right hand at the creature, firing a white beam of energy that sucks in the withered Nomu into the opening. "One down!" she says.
The Ecto Nomu attempts to trap Kirashima in a Full Nelson grip, but its suddenly zapped by green lightning and leaps back. "Ha! The Specter Deflector worked liked a charm!" However, he's now covered in ectoplasmic goo. "Ugh, but man this stuff is nasty! I've got this guy covered Todoroki, go help Iida!" "Got it," he nods.
Running towards Iida, he activates his left quirk, throwing a blast of fire at the Ice Nomu. It stops and turns, advancing on Todoroki. A beam of ice is set loose, met in turn with a burst of flames. The two face off while Iida quickly catches his breath. "Tsu, over here!" She swings across the area with her tongue. "I'm going to knock it back this way. Use the Gauntlet once it's airborne, ok?" "I'll be ready, ribbit."
Over with Uraraka, the Nomu she's fighting suddenly splits into 8 clones. "Uh oh," she says. "Uraraka," yells Momo. "Float up, now!!!" She quickly claps her hands together, rising towards the ceiling as the Clone Nomu attempt to group up and grab her. Momo fires the Fenton Grappler, launching at one, which vanishes. The others are still actively trying to grab Uraraka, while two more turn on Momo. She uses her bo staff to fight them, however the malformed bodies are tough to counter with their enhanced speed.
"We gotta catch the original. Fire again!" Uraraka says. "But which one?" Momo calls over. The floating hero drops a gas grenade. It goes off, with one clone in particular being affected. "That one!" Momo shoots at the singled out Nomu, capturing it in the net. The other clones vanish. Uraraka aims the capture gauntlet on her left hand to suck up the Nomu. She floats down, high giving Momo. "Nice!" she says happily.
Deku is taking on the Bone Nomu himself. He fights using his Shoot Style. Suddenly he leaps in, only to phase through the skeleton. But this is exactly what he was waiting for. Much like Bakugo during his sparring match with Danny, he twists in mid-air, and landing a kick at the skull. "Sssmmmaaaaassshhh!!!" The skull shatters, and the other bones drop to the ground.
It's not finished, as the bone fragments start to re-form, the skeleton coming back together. "Uraraka!" He calls out. On cue, she drops from the ceiling, firing the gauntlet at the skeleton, capturing it.
Back with Iida, he runs by Kirashima and pulls out his own Fenton Works weapon: the Jack-o-Nine Tails. He aims and shoots, catching the Ecto-Nomu as it battles the sturdy hero. It drops to the ground, unable to move until it's suddenly yanked behind Iida and dragged. He continues to run until he turns back towards the Ice Nomu. "Todoroki, ice the ground!" He nods and fires a blast of ice, covering the surrounding area in a thick layer of ice.
"Bakugo, go for the head!" "Don't tell me what to do!" The explosive hero roars as he leaps behind the Ice Nomu, firing an explosion at the back of its head. Using the distraction, Iida stops short just before the ice. He swings his arm, the momentum sliding the captured Ecto Nomu at Ice Nomu's legs.
"Tsu!!" Iida calls. The rainy season hero fires her gauntlet at the downed Nomu, sucking them both up. "Is that all of them?" She asks Iida. "All except their leader. Let's go get him!" Meanwhile, Danny is having an intense battle against Plasmius. The older ghost has certainly improved in combat and Danny can barely keep up, taking more shots than he can land. What's worse, his power hasn't fully returned from being hit by the Plasmius Maximus.
Fortunately, the cavalry arrives as Plasmius is suddenly wrapped in the Jack-o-Nine Tails. Danny lands a big punch to his head, knocking his nemesis to the ground. He struggles to get up, but is covered by the net from the Fenton Grappler. Plasmius is completely infuriated by the turn of events as the other students stand before him, weapons aimed and quirks activated.
"It's over, Plasmius," says Danny. "Don't make this harder than it has to be." Plasmius glares at the halfa, then at the students. But then, he starts to chuckle. "Ok, the villain's captured but he's laughing. That's never a good sign," says Mina. "You know, when I became a full ghost, I discovered a few new tricks," Plasmius says ominously. "One in particular is most fitting..." He takes a deep breath, Danny, Bakugo and Deku realize what's about to happen. "Everyone get back!!!" Danny yells as he quickly makes an energy shield.
Plasmius unleashes a powerful Ghostly Wail. Waves of red energy envelopes the area. The walls shake, rubble starts crumbling, and the roof starts collapsing from the top level. Cracks begin forming in Danny's shield as he struggles to maintain it. The effort causing a nosebleed as the roofs completely collapse on top. Suddenly his shield shatters and the roof comes crashing down. Finally, Plasmius ends the Wail and the only noise heard is his own maniacal laughing.
