A/N: HI READER

Welcome to the next chapter of Elements of Den-O. We got a special chapter right here, because this one here is the prequel chapter to mine and Taiman215's next crossover story. But before we get into that, let's get going with this.

WRITER FORM!

Chapter 10: UNDERGROUND HASSEL!

Negataros sat by himself at the Generals' table, feet up and stroking his horn. A hum passed through his lips as he thought to how his other Generals were doing.

"Feeling down I see eh Neggy? Why so glum chum?" A voice asked, sounding like a 1920s' radio host. Walking up to the round table behind Negataros was an Imagin wearing a bright purple dress shirt with two black marks that cross each other. Underneath, he has a dark pink pinstriped coat along with burgundy dress pants, as well as a purple knotted bowtie, burgundy claws with glowing pink tips, and hooves for feet. His head was a horse skull with deer antlers poking out and yellow eyes. In his hand was a staff with what looked like a vintage microphone attached to it.

"Wendigo, didn't expect you back so soon." Negataros said as he put his legs down. "Report."

"Well the mines were dark, I could barely see in front of my own eyes, the darkness bleak as-!"

"Get on with it. I'm in no mood for your dramatics." Negataros grumbled.

"Such a bore…" Wendigo sighed. "Fine, to cut it short." He reached into a portal hole and threw something into the table. What he threw was a severed head of a reptilian creature with dull crystals in its' head. "The mine was empty, except for this fella, and even with him he had none of it. He put up one hell of a fight ya know."

"So another dud." The evil Imagin growled. "How many mines is that now?"

"Ooh, lemme check." Wendigo reached into another portal as a drumroll played. "Number 18!" He pulled out confetti. "You're running out of mines Neggy."

"Grrrrr!" Negataros was about blow a fuse, if not for Wendigo to calmly place a hand on his shoulder. "And how many active mines are left?"

"Only one, and I've sent one of my best Imagin there to see the operation goes swimmingly." The glow in Wendigo's eyes brightened a little.

The sun shone through the windows of my room and pushed against my eyelids. I groggily pulled myself out of bed with a yawn and stretched.

It's been a few days sine Kabu joined our team, he's gotten along well with the other Tech guys especially Krankcase as the two are working together with researching the stones.

I got out of bed and headed downstairs where I saw six out of seven of my Imagin sitting at the breakfast table.

"Morning guys." I yawned and walked over to the fridge. "Lemme guess, Kabu's at the lab again?"

"What gave that away, the fact there's no voice blaring about logic?" Momo huffed and sipped his coffee. "We just had to be stuck with a smartass huh."

"Oh be nice to him." I said as I grabbed milk and cereal. "It's not every day we get a robotic scientist as a friend."

"Yeah, and he likes animals too!" Ryuu cheered.

I took a seat at the table and proceeded to eat my breakfast. "So I heard some big shot Skylanders are coming in today, some real high tier guys."

"High tier?" Serpen asked. "What class~~~~~es~~~ as high tier around here?"

"I dunno." I said as I tapped my spoon on the bowl and eat my cereal. "That kinda title could go for anyone."

"Bah, I bet they ain't tough shit." Momo huffed. "We could probably take whoever they are."

The sudden rumble of the clouds caught our attention as we all went outside to see a bunch of clouds circling into each other with a bright light in the middle.

"What's happening?! Are we being attacked?!" I asked Ray, who was just standing there with his arms crossed outside the entrance to the Academy.

"No, no, this is just them having a dramatic entrance." He said, tapping his foot. "Any~~~~~ second now."

From the bright light in the middle, three silhouette's dropped down and landed dramatically. The first was a penguin in gold and black armour with a pair of spiked gauntlets, King Pen. The second was a four armed creature made out of what looked like space and had ninja stars, Starcast. And the last was a black furred humanoid with silver gauntlets and dark blue fur in his head with horns and white eyes in a silver mouth mask armed with a large sword, Wild Storm.

"Master King Pen, Master Star Cast, Master Wild Storm." Ray greeted with a bow with me quickly joining.

"Ah, nice to see you once again young Ray." King Pen bowed back. "And you must be Amy, I've heard about you from Tidepool."

"It's an honour Master King Pen." I smiled.

"So what brings you three to the Academy?" Ray asked.

"It would be best if we talked within the Academy's place of meetings." Star Cast said. Ray nodded and lead the three Sensei into the Academy.

"Those are other Sensei?" Kin asked as all the Taros looked at them. "They just eradiate true strength."

"The walking penguin is the leader, he's the strongest." I pointed out. "It must be really important if three Sensei are here."

"So shouldn't we go with them?" Ura said. "If they're here it must be important."

"Oh you're probably right." I realised and chased after, joining them in the meeting room.

"So what is the problem exactly Master King Pen?" Ray asked as the three masters went to the other side of the table.

"Someone has been attacking Imaginite Mines." King Pen straight up said. "Around the lands different mines have been attacked where Imaginite was once mined. Eighteen different mines have already been ransacked."

"All the mines so far were already drained of their Imaginite." Wild Storm added. "Since Kaos' use of Mind Magic, many sources of Imaginite have become run dry."

"But through rigorous searching, we've discovered that there is one mine left." Star Cast concluded. "We've made it our mission to stake out this last mine and see what exactly is attacking."

"Uh, let's assume for a minute that not everyone here knows what Imaginite is. Ya wanna explain?" Momo motioned.

"Imaginite, a rare form of crystals that draws energy from one's imagination." Kabu said as he walked in. "My apologies for my late arrival, Dr Krankcase and I were studying the Stones. Imaginite connects to the user's Mind Magic and can be used to create anything."

"Impressive, you are quite the intellectual one." King Pen acknowledged. "We've discovered that the finale mine is in Dim Lit Abyss, but deep down where the glow isn't so bright."

"The Dim Lit Abyss, that's where all the creepy crawlers come from." Ray put his hand on his chin. "I can get a team of Light Skylanders quick enough for us to-!"

"That would be unneeded of you Ray." Wild Storm interrupted.

"Huh, what do you mean?"

"We were hoping to take only Amy along." King Pen looked at me. "When I hear of a promising new warrior I would like to see them in action."

Saying that took me into shock, he wants to see me in battle?

"Um, with all due respect Master King Pen, Amy and I work best as team." Ray tried to convince him.

"I understand that, but as Grand Master I would like to see Amy and these Imagin battle in person." He said looking at the Taros.

"Heh, well prepare to be amazed." Momo sneered.

"Your cockiness is illogical." Kabu shook his head.

"What you say you metal bastard?!" Momo tried to get into a brawl with Kabu but the other Imagin held him back. "I'll rip your wires out!"

"Uh just ignore them Master King Pen, I'd happily go with to the Dim Lit Abyss." I said, trying to act all professional.

"Then we shall meet at your flying train, I hear it's a fun ride." The Grandmaster bowed before he and the other two Sensei left the room.

I let out an exasperated sigh and leaned on the table. "I've never had to act so professional in my entire life."

"Amy, Amy look at me." Ray held my shoulder and I looked him in the eyes. "Please, please, PLEASE try to keep the Taros out of trouble. Try to have Momotaros not challenge Wild Storm to a sword duel. And PLEASE do not do anything stupid."

"Moi, stupid? Don't know the meaning of the word." I brushed off.

"Yeah, but they do." He pointed at my Imagin who were currently in a huge tussle.

"The best I can do is try." I shrugged.

A few minutes later the lot of us got aboard the DenLiner and took off.

I walked into the main cart where everyone was doing their own thing; Wild Storm was sharpening his sword, Star Cast was just looking out a window, and I took a seat on the table opposite of King Pen who just sat there with his eyes closed, meditating I think.

"Hey, Barista-Bot," I called out to our very own coffee serving robot, that's right we got a robot to serve us beverages. "Could you make me a strawberry milkshake with whipped cream and cherry on top please."

"YOU GO-O-O-O-O-O-GOT IT B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-BOSS!" Barista-Bot steamed out before getting to work. Sure he seems a little unwired but he makes good stuff.

"Would you like anything Grandmaster?" I asked as he kept his eyes closed.

"Mm, a chi tea would be lovely." He hummed.

"Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YES SIR-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R!" Barista-Bot saluted.

"He seems a few circuits short of a computer." King Pen chuckled with his eyes still closed.

"Yeah Barista-Bot wasn't fully programmed properly. So he's a bit energetic."

"C-C-C-C-C-COME ALI-I-I-I-I-I-VE MY CREATIONS! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Putting it lightly." The Grandmaster chuckled. "So tell me young Amy, how well are you when it comes to fighting?"

"Um well I'm not the best fighter." I admitted. "It's normally not even me that does the fighting, it's the Taros."

"Ah, possession I'm guessing." He said. "A rare form of magic indeed, used by only few. Impressive."

"If I may ask Master King Pen, why did you really want me to come without Ray? Wouldn't it have been beneficial if he came along?"

"Maybe." He replied with his eyes still closed. "But I wanted you see you in action, I heard many a things about the Den-O's powers and I wished to see them in person. How much do you trust your Imagin?"

"With my life I guess, these guys have saved me more times than I could count." I said as I looked at them doing what they were doing.

"Hmm, I wish to learn more about them, tell me about them, please." He asked now finally opening his eyes.

"Well," I turned around on my chair. "The red one, Momotaros, I'd describe him as pure anger. He's a sword user as well as Fire Element and kind of my go to Imagin to use."

"What fucking language is this…." Momo growled as he read a newspaper.

"The blue one, Urataros, is the most cunning of the lot. He uses a staff as well as being in Water Element and is the one I use when I need to be more agile yet still up close."

"She likes me, she likes me not, she likes me, she likes me not, she likes me…..she likes me not." He sighed and picked off the last petal on a flower.

"Then there's the yellow one, Kintaros, the muscle of our team. He wields and axe and Earth Element, he's strongest out of them and went toe to toe with a Giant once."

"Zzzzzzzz…" He snored.

"Next is the purple one, Ryuutaros, the child like wonder. He's our gunner and dances while fighting if you can believe it and is even Magic Element. He's the most destructive I've found out."

"Drawing cute little animals, la-la-la-la-la-la~~~~." He sang while colouring.

"The grey one is Serpentaros, he's the first Imagin that wasn't in our original crew. He uses a scythe and in part of the Undead Element. I'd say so far, he's the most sensible one."

"*Sigh*…." He simply sighed.

"The stuck up white one is Sieg, the only Imagin that doesn't end in Taros for whatever reason. He does good with his pair of small weapons and Light Element, but he's way too fancy about fighting."

"*SIPS*, ah delightful." Sieg said after sipping some tea.

"And then lastly we have our newest and smartest team mate, the bronze one Kabutaros. He's a close combat kinda fighter with mini cannons in his arms and is our Tech Element. He uses logic when fighting and is our speedster."

"Hmm." Kabu had multiple screens around him and typed away at them.

"Quite a team you have, all seeming to show a wide arrange of emotions, perfectly balanced." Barista Bot came around and slammed out drinks down. "I will enjoy seeing them in combat."

"Yeah, you're in for a surprise that's for sure. We fight like people have never seen before." I chuckled. "So, tell me about this Dim Lit Abyss. I don't think I've heard of it before."

"I'm not surprised, it's a place mainly kept secretive because of its danger." King Pen said. "It's an area deep within the Glowing Lagoon, deep enough that light is an unknown to the creatures lurking in there."

"It's that dark?"

"The only light down there being the dim light of algae at the very bottom. Down there lies creatures beyond nightmares, monsters that only exist in the darkest corners. It is important that we do not separate." King Pen said.

"Okay, it's dangerous, got it." I noted. "Do you have any special orders Grandmaster?"

"Hmm, please you must stop with the formalities, that title is used for only my students and fellow Sensei." He gave a chuckle.

"Yo Amy, we're almost there." Momo said as he walked into the cockpit.

"Kay on my way." I said back. "He's too short to reach the handle bars." I said as I stood up and made my way into the cockpit as well. "Right buddy, let's land this hunk." I said getting onto the DenBird. "Ok….just like how we practiced." I grabbed onto the bike's handlebars and gently started to land the train, getting a few bumps and impacts before skidding to a stop. "Well…..looks like I still need some practice." I weakly chuckled and looked to Momo, who was sprawled on the floor.

"You suck at this…."

After everyone got over their motion sickness, *cough, cough cry-babies*, we all met outside with Master King Pen guiding the way with a VERY bright lantern. When they said this place was dark they underexaggerated, the entire place is pitch freaking black, I can barely see even with the lantern, like maybe a couple metres in front of my own face.

"You really can't see anything down here, do you know where we're going King Pen?" I asked, trying not to trip on anything under me.

"Trust me young Amy, I know what I am doing." He said calmly as he continued to walk. "I can sense the Imaginite, it's powers grow closer, we're almost there."

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamy, I'm getting scared…." Ryu whined as he hugged my leg. "It's too dark."

"It'll be ok, just stay close to me and the others and everything will be ok." I reassured him, giving him a little pat on the head.

"It's here." King Pen spoke up as he stopped. "Wild Storm, if you'd be so kind." The Air Master growled as he stepped forward, dragging his sword across the ground before spinning around and slashing through the darkness, sending a lightning bolt through the shadows and illuminating our surroundings by reflecting off of all the crystals.

"Wow…." I said in awe at the sheer size of the cave. It was huge, larger than the Academy I'd say, the entire thing was filled to the bring with multiple coloured crystals, each one lighting up and changing different colours. "It's beautiful…"

"A true sight to see indeed." King Pen commented. "It would seem as though this mine is still thriving with Imaginite, and has yet to be attacked. We should set up a defence, wait for the enemy to attack."

"Do we even know if they'll be here, this place is in the middle of nowhere." Momo said.

"Do you have a better idea tiny demon?" Wild Storm said, pissing off Momo in the process.

"EX-FUCKING-SCUSE YOU YA FURRY ASSHOLE?!" He was going to attack the Sensei but was held back by Ura and Kabu.

"He is quite the impulsive one is he not?" King Pen hummed at which I weakly chuckled as an answer.

"A-a-a-anyway, defences, let's go guys!" I said trying to usher away Momo so he wouldn't start anything. "Momotaros, you need to learn how to calm down."

"I gotta calm down?! That guys being a real ass, acting all high and mighty just cause he's some hot shot Sensei or whatever."

"Senpai please, you need to calm down, remember our breathing exercises." Momo only shot him a glare. "Ok jeez never mind."

"Could we just, please try to play nice here? Could we maybe not embarrass us PLEASE?"

"What do you mean, we've been way worse than this before?" Kin asked. "Is it because they're here?" He nudged his head over to the three Sensei going into the cave.

"YES, of course it's because of them. These guys are the top of the top, the crem de le crem, the big boys! So can we please try to behave here guys, please?" I emphasised the last part.

"Tch, fine alright, alright, you don't have to be so pretentious about it, we get it we're annoying." Momo huffed, crossing his arms.

"No, Momo that's…..that's not what I meant…" I said before sighing. "Let's just, go in the cave and get ready, ok? I'm sorry." I apologised as we headed inside, there I could see Star Cast and Wild Storm were setting up some kind of trap or something while King Pen was glancing at the walls, humming to himself in thought. "Something the matter sir?"

"Tell me Amy, when you look at these cavern walls, what do you see?" He asked me.

"Uuuuum, I dunno…." I said looking over the walls as well. "There's a bunch of dark gems in rocks, are they important?"

"These are Imaginite, or at least they used to be, years upon years of staying in here have rendered them useless." He started to waddle away, to which I followed trying not to fall to far behind. "So this certainly begs the question, why exactly are these enemies attacking these mines? All the Imaginite has no magical properties anymore."

"Yeah….Imaginite is useless if it doesn't have any power in it, all that's left is just a hunk of rock. So there must be something else in the mines that they're looking for!" I theorised.

"I think the same, we should keep our selves alert in case we find anything that would even seem to be important." He said curtly.

"Alert! Alert! Enemy Imagin signatures detected, squadron of 20 to probably 30 incoming." Kabu said. "Probability frontal assault victory, 72.35%."

"Grandmaster, the traps are set!" Wild Storm called out.

"Excellent." The penguin smirked, despite having a beak…..? "Everyone, get into hiding, we end this streak of attacks once and for all." The Taros and I hid behind some large stalagmites while King Pen, Wild Storm and Star Cast went behind a boulder.

The sounds of marching followed by voices as the group saw a squad of Mole Imagin, being led by someone in a cloak who was skipping his way down.

"Come along now boys! It's time for a scavenger huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunt!" He sang before his posture changed to a more cold stroll. "Let's just make this quick."

"Why does that voice sound familiar…..?" Momo wondered. "That damn cloak is blocking too much, I can't see him."

"Shh, we don't want them to hear us." I said, just peering slightly over cover. The Imagin got closer and inevitably got to the entrance, the one in front stepped on the hidden wire in the dirt, setting off a hidden trap that rained down ninja stars from all around the entrance. The leader noticed this and leapt out of the way, as did some of the Moles who saw it coming, except for a very unlucky few that got struck by the traps and reduced them to piles of sand.

"An ambush?! Where?!" The leader called out.

"I may not know why you strange creatures are attacking these mines, but I know as a guardian of Skylands you must be stopped." King Pen said as he stepped out of his cover, getting into a battle position, the other two Sensei joining him.

"Come on Momo, you wanna show off, let's show off." The red Imagin only huffed and jumped in my body, slinging on the belt as he walked out and joined the Sensei. "Right, listen here fuckos, I don't really care about what's in this cave or why ya want it, all I know is I'm itching for a real good fight right now! Henshin!"

SWORD FORM!

(Insert: Double Action Sword Form)

The Den-O suit formed on us as Momo rolled our neck, making the DenGasher into it's sword mode. "Ore…..Sanjou!"

"The Den-O is here, strike them down!" The leader in the cloak said. The Moles yelled and charged towards the four of us.

"From start to finish, I'm at the Climax! Let's Go! Go! GO!" Momo darted straight for them, slashing wildly as some of the Moles fought back, others going after the three Sensei. Star Cast kept his distance as he threw ninja stars, bouncing around to keep himself mobile. King Pen was walking at a steady pace through the Imagin, striking them with his gauntlets and hitting hard enough that it caused them to immediately dissolve. Wild Storm roared as he ploughed through some of the Moles, ramming his horns into three before throwing them away, stopping besides Momo as the red Imagin stabbed a Mole right in the chest.

"Your swordsmanship is rough, sloppy, it's disgusting!" He commented, slashing at his own strong pace.

"Oh shove it up your ass, I don't give a fuck!" He pulled his sword out and punched the Mole in the face. Momo ignited his sword and shot out a flame slash, crashing a pair of Moles into the wall. "Keep your damn swordsmanship to yourself!"

"You need to learn some respect, you are talking to a Master!" Wild Storm growled, sending a lightning bolt.

"Respect is a two way, fucking, STREAK!" Momo started erupting with fire, taking out couple Moles. 'Momo, calm down, you're getting heated. Just don't listen to him…'

"And Master Eon told us you'd be a great hero, right now, all I see is a girl and some monsters!"

Momo growled and turned around to face Wild Storm, but before he could anything the cloaked leader jumped in between the two, slashing down with a weird shovel looking sword. He quickly darted over to Momo and stuck across our chest with his strange sword, Momo managed to catch his blade in a lock and pushed him back.

"Wait, that sword…." Momo muttered. "That's it, I figured out who you are!" The realisation was cut short when Wild Storm came charging in and slashed at the Imagin, who leapt out of the way. "Hey, furry asshole, watch it! If you're too careless you'll make things worse!"

"Learn you place, and stay out of my way!" He responded before charging at the leader, performing a downwards slash. Just as he got closer the leader threw the cloak off of him, showing he was a black and green Imagin, his left leg and right arm were green while his right leg and left arm were black, his head was black and green split evenly with two different antennas sprouting out.

'WHAT KINDA FREAK IS THAT?!' I know the Imagin are meant to be monsters and all that, but this thing is just over the top. "Wild Storm you fucking idiot, you're gonna split him in two!"

The Imagin didn't even bother to block the attack as it started to split into two identical Imagin, the only different being their eyes, the one with the shovel was narrowed while the other one, who had a viola looking sword, was wide eyed.

"Wh-what?!" Wild Storm gaped. The wide eyed Imagin giggled before kicking him away, the Sensei stumbling back.

"Hoooooooooooooh boy you are SUCH a foooooooooooooooool, hahahahaha!"

"Maybe you should've listened to the Den-O, because now you've had one problem evolve into two."

'Who are these guys?' I asked. "The AntHopper brothers, Ari and Kirigiris, dammit…." Momo growled.

"They became two monsters…..how did I not see that coming?" Wild Storm groaned as he pushed himself.

"Well maybe if you weren't so stingy, and if you listened to me, this wouldn't have happened." Momo said, pulling the Sensei up to his feet.

"Shall we brother?" Ari asked, resting his shovel on his shoulder.

"Of course we shall!" Kirigiris squealed with his blade and rushed at Wild Storm while Ari charged at us.

'In coming!' Ari's and Momo's swords clashed against each other, this continued for a while before Ari bounced over us and slashed us right across the back.

"This fucker…." Momo proceeded to swing around wildly, trying his best to hit the bouncing Imagin. 'He's too fast!' "Then we'll have to be fast! Oi, smartass bastard, get over here!" He called before pressing the orange button, making techno music blare out through the cave.

(End Song)

"Understood." Kabu said after blasting a pair of Moles with his arm cannons. He sped over and jumped into my body just as Momo jumped out. "Henshin!"

GEAR FORM!

(Insert: Full Force)

Sword Form's armour disappeared, being replaced with the orange armour of Gear Form. The gear came spinning on our helmet before turning into the visor.

"Probability of success; 83.12%" He said, rolling his shoulders. 'Wait, why not 99.99 like last time?' "There are multiple factors that indicate towards-" 'Ya know what, I don't care, just get em!'

Ari came running and tried to slash with his sword, Kabu ducked under it and gave the Imagin an uppercut making it fly back. Kabu took the DenGasher apart and formed them into his wrist mounted cannons.

He aimed both cannons at Ari and began to fire, some shots managing to hit before the Imagin decided to jump out of the way, using his grasshopper like legs to bounce around. Kabu activated his super speed and chased Ari around, occasionally being able to clash with him and landing some punches on his face or chest.

"Gah, you're new, I didn't expect the Den-O to get any new Imagin, especially one of your power." He grunted and rubbed his neck.

Kirigiris jumped back over and landed next to his brother. "Hey….hey….hey Bro, can we try that new thing we wanted to try?!"

"I don't see why not. It is out power after all." Ari tapped his shovel on the ground. Both of them glowed with a purple aura and soon began to bounce around and ricochet like bullets. Kabu tried to keep our eyes, but couldn't get a lock on to fire.

Ari bounced off one of the stalagmites and flew right towards us, slamming his knee into our mask. Kirigiris came from the top and slamming his elbow into our back, crashing us into the ground.

"Hahahahaha, we got em bro! How does it feel to stuck so bad huh?" Kirigiris taunted us.

'Come on Kabu….get up, please….you can do this!' I tried to encourage him. He grunted as he pushed himself up. "Continuing this battle would be Illogical, probability of success has reduced to 42.89%"

'We can't give up, we need to figure out what they want with this mine!' It was when I finished that thought that the entire cavern shook, ceasing the fighting and making everyone look around in confusion. 'W-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-what was that?'

(End Song)

"Warning! Warning! Life form detected approaching rapidly towards our direction. 900 metres, 800 metres, 700 metres, 600 metres." The shaking began to get even more violent as "300 metres, 200 metres, 100 metres, 50 metres! Everyone move!" Kabu activated his super speed to pick up the rest of Taros and move them to safety as the grounded started to crack open.

"Everything's going shaky-shaky!" Ryu shouted in panic. A roar was soon to follow as something started to break through, the creature was large with scales covering its body, sharp claws on the end of its arms and a long tail, the most notable part of it was the multi-coloured crystals that decorated its back and head. The creature let out another cave rattling roar that made everyone stare at it in shock or confusion.

"What….is that?" Kin gasped.

"A Crystalizersaurus…." King Pen said, lost for words it seemed. "I've heard stories about them, but they're said to be extinct."

"Well there's~~~~ clearly one right there." Serpen huffed. "And it looks~~~~~ angry."

"As to my calculations, the ensuring battle and vibrations caused by the AntHopper Brother's bouncing attacks have awoken this creature from a long slumber." Kabu theorised. "Retreat is the best logical option."

"There it is that's the beast our master sent us after!" Ari called out, getting his brother's and all the Moles' attention. "Bring it to its knees!" The Imagin then blatantly ignored us, running past us and charging for the creature.

"They're after the Crystalizersaurus? If that's the case, then there is no option of retreat." King Pen said. "Make sure they don't harm it, protect it at all costs!" He spun through the air like a drill, knocking back a few Moles as he started to attack the Imagin in a more focused way.

'Damn, he's really going at it now. Hey, I think we should switch to Serpen or Ura, give us some more reach.' Kabu nodded. "Logical, I agree." Just as he was about to press the blue button the dinosaur roared out and began to thrash about, attacking everything and anything near it, swinging its tail wildly and sending a lot of Moles flying into the walls, making the cave shake even more violently.

'Whoa-whoa-whoa! HOLD ON!' I scream as the floor once again started to crack directly beneath us. Ari bounced back away from the danger while Wild Storm and Star Cast tried their best to get away. Kabu and I were unfortunate and subsequently feel between the crack. "Hold on, I got this!" Kabu activated his super speed and started to run up the falling rocks, he leapt off a couple of them and stretched out an arm to grab the ledge, managing to barely grab a hold of it.

The roar of the Crystalizersaurus was heard again, as Kabu and I saw the giant reptile falling backwards into the same hole as us, in doing so knocked us down into the darkness.

King Pen continued to fight off the Imagin, bashing one across the face before hearing the roar of the dino as it stumbled into the hole, also seeing the armour of his comrade falling also.

"Young Amy!" He called out, running towards the hole.

"The creature is getting away!" Ari shouted, right before Kirigiris ran past him.

"Don't worry Bro, I'll get iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!" The whacky brother yelled as he and King Pen raced towards it and jumped inside.

"Grrr, follow him." Ari ordered as the remainder of his Mole Imagin went to follow into the deeper underground, only to be cut off by a flurry of ninja stars and lightning bolts stopping them in their paths. Star Cast and Wild Strom jumped in between them, weapons drawn and ready to continue fighting. The last of the Taros also walked up to join with their weapons drawn as well. "Traitors….you dare to stand in our way."

"Oh why don't you tell it to someone who care, cause this guy certainly doesn't." Momotaros huffed. "Oi, fur-fest, think fast!" He said before jumping into Wild Storm's body, giving his fur some red streaks and changing his eyes to red as well. "Oh yeah, that's more like it!"

'What the hell are you doing?! Get out of me this instance!' He snarled, trying to gain control but ultimately failing. "Nah I think I'll keep this for a while." Momo chuckled as he looked at both swords in his hands. "All right let's get this shit going! Let's go! Go! GO!"

"Amy….Amy are you functional?" I heard Kabu's robotic voice as I stirred myself awake.

"Kabu…?" I groaned and pushed myself up. "What happened, where is everyone?"

"During the battle, the cavern began to collapse, being the unlucky ones that we are, we fell into one of the cracks, resulting in us being lost within the underground." He summarised.

"Hmm, well, ain't that fantastic." I grunted as I stood up, using the walls as support. "I guess we'd better try find a way back to the surface with the others than huh?"

"Agreed." He said as the two of us started to make our way through the dark tunnels. "My scanners are picking up interference, I cannot find a most suitable path for us to take."

"It's fine bud, we'll just have to find it ourselves." I assured him and continued to walk. "I just hope the others are doing okay."

"Before descending too far, I noticed that Grandmaster King Pen and the AntHopper Imagin Brother Kirigiris jumped in to follow us, as well as the giant creature falling in as well."

"So they're down here, we'd better keep an eye out." The walk was pretty quiet, the only real sound being drips or small stones crumbling, the only real light being from Kabu's eyes. "Hello~~~~~? Anyone down here~~~~?" No response, well that was dumb. "You sure you can't pick up anything on your scanners?"

"Some sort of energy is interfering, all I detect is static." Suddenly we heard the sounds of shuffling and footsteps, Kabu immediately armed his cannons while I was ready with the belt. "Reveal yourself, we have you outnumbered."

"Amy? Kabutaros? Is that you two?" I know that voice. Coming into our field of view was King Pen, covering his eyes because of the bright light.

"Master King Pen!"

He sighed in relief. "Well, am I glad to have found you two, this place is windy like a maze, I thought you'd be lost forever."

"Well, thankfully we found you, now we can get out of here together. Any ideas?"

"Not a clue I'm afraid." The penguin shook his head. "These tunnels seem to go on and on and on."

"Well….how about you Kabu, any ideas?" The tech Imagin's head swerved from side to side. "What's up?"

"I'm picking up a faint breeze, by following we'll find the breeze's origin, leading to our escape."

"That's as good as plan as any, lead the way." King Pen said as Kabu started to run in a direction, the two of us following after him. As we continued to go through the caves, I could start to feel that same breeze he was talking about, hearing the wind whistle.

"We're almost there, I can feel it!" I said cheerfully as we turned one last corner, only to find the entrance was subsequently blocked by fallen boulders and rocks. "Oh are you kidding me?!"

"Impossible, the amount of wind propulsion coming from here should've indicated this was the best possible exit." Kabu grabbed his head, trying to figure things out. "Error…error…error…...error…error…Not…logical…"

"Now I know you must be disappointed friend, but never must one give up on hope." King Pen said walking past the two of us, stopping in front of the pile up and rearing back one of his gauntlets. "Sure, logic can be helpful, and I will admit Kabutaros you are definitely smart, but one must always remember…." He struck against the bundle of boulders, fracturing them and revealing a continuing path. "….to also follow their instinctive heart."

"Whoa…" I gaped.

"Follow….heart." Kabu held on of his hands over his chest. A low growl echoed from beyond the, sounding pained and familiar. "That sound came from the Crystalizersaurus, it sounds hurt."

"Kaos sent these monsters after the creature, so it is our duty to protect it, let's go." King Pen said, Kabu and I looked him in the eyes with a nod as we raced down the tunnel. As we got closer we could also hear the sound of a blade clanging against something. And when we reached the origin of the noise, there we saw the crazy AntHopper brother slashing his sword against the crystals on the Crystalizersaurus' head, making is groan and whine in pain, the creature itself being trapped under some rocks.

"Oh shut up, once I get this lovely Imaginite off of you the pain will all be over!" Kirigiris laughed and raised his weapon once more, only to be frozen in place by King Pen's frost breath.

"That'll help him cool off." The three of us moved towards the massive reptile, who snarled and growled at us defensively.

"It's ok, we are not here to hurt you, we are your friends." Kabu said, trying to reassure the creature. "Don't be afraid…." The growls calmed down, but the lizard was still a little defensive. "We need to remove these rocks, it's crushing on his legs."

The next few minutes were spent with the three of us doing our best to all the rocks off the giant lizard. After moving a fairly large one I stopped to catch my breath and noticed the bigger crystal on the Crystalizersaurus' was on the verge of breaking off. I gently patted the creature's neck, making it release a low growl.

"Oh you poor thing, we invaded your home. I'm so sorry." I softly said. A minute or so later and we managed to clear away all the rocks, freeing the reptile and standing back so we could give it room to stand. It groaned a whined a little bit, before it managed to stand up perfectly, licking it's bruised leg to help numb it.

"There we go, all's right as rain." I sighed, dusting off my hands. The Crystalizersaurus looked down at us and let out a happy rumble, nudging his nose into my body. "Hahahaha, hey-hey it's alright, no need to thank us."

It stood up straight a purred happily, before roaring out in pain as the big crystal atop its head was cut clean off, Kirigiris catching it mid air and landing behind us.

"YES! I got it, failed this time Den-O!" He manically laughed before using his power to bounce around before heading through the exit.

"NO!" I yelled and was going to chase after him, only for the tremors to start again. "Dammit, we're gonna be trapped again!" I gripped my fist before subsequently being picked up off the ground, scaring me at first until I realised I was being lifted into the Crystalizersaurus' back, same for Kabutaros and King Pen.

"Well, this is certainly surprising." The Sensei chuckled.

"Hell yeah, HI HO DINO AWAY!" I pointed forward, the Crystalizersaurus roaring in response before charging through the tunnel.

Momotaros was having fun, being in a body like was feeling awesome, and he gets to duel wield!

He slashed down another Mole before blasting away another two with a lightning slash.

"Why have I never possessed one of you guys before? This is great!" He cheered to himself, much to the dismay of the person he was possessing. 'This is embarrassing.'

"Traitor…you're starting to get on my nerves…" Ari growled swinging his sword at him. The two Imagin clashed their blades, fire and air combined together in a devastating force. Momo landed a double slash directly on Ari's chest, making him stumble back. "You bastard, you'll doom us all!"

"Eh? I would ask what you mean, but I don't really give a shit, and would rather end this. So…" Momo started to focus, igniting fires on his sword while sparking lightning on Wild Storm's. "Hissatsu…..Ore no Hissatsu waza….." He charged at Ari with a yell, striking him with the Storm Sword, skidding to a halt and raising his own sword. "Extreme Slash, Part 5, THUNDER AND FIRE VERSION!" He slammed his sword down, striking Ari hard enough to make him explode on the spot. "And that's how it's done."

Momo jumped out of Wild Storm's body, making the Sensei grab his head and lean on his sword. "Please, never do that again, I hated that."

"Whatever you say fur face." He huffed in return. The two looked around, seeing that Star Cast and the others dealt with the final few Mole Imagin.

"That should be the last of them." Ura sighed, wiping his brow.

"Now we must focus on finding on Amy and the Grandmaster." Star Cast declared. They all agreed and started to head towards the hole, only to stop at the noise of maniacal laughter as the other AntHopper Brother leapt out.

"Bro! BRO! I got it!" He looked around excitedly, only to calm down when he saw no one. "Where…..where is everyone…?"

"We beat them you meanie!" Ryuutaros yelled at him. "Now it's gonna be your turn!"

"You…..you killed my brother….RAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He screamed with fury, dropping the crystal in his hand as he charged violently with his viola sword, only to be slammed out of the air by the Crystalizersaurus, who came crashing through the cavern wall, the giant lizard slamming its tail into the evil Imagin.

"Amy!" The Taros said relieved.

"Did you guys miss me?" I smirked and slid off the Dino's back. Kirigiris was angrily muttering to himself as he pushed himself up, glaring at us. "Uh, reunion later, Kabu, let's finish this guy off!"

Kabu looked down at me, patting the Crystalizersaurus on the head before jumping down. "Affirmative." He turned translucent and entered my body, giving my hair an orange streak and placing a pair of technical goggles on my forehead, also making my eyes orange. "AntHopper Imagin Kirigiris, you will pay for hurting this beautiful animal, and I will be the one to destroy you." He quickly pressed the orange button on the belt and held up the Rider Pass. "Henshin!"

GEAR FORM!

(Insert: Full Force)

Kabu super sped over to Kirigiris and slammed his fist into his face just as the armour finished assembling.

"Probability of success; 99.99%" In a flash he made the DenGasher into their twin cannon form and rapidly blasted the Imagin in the chest, causing sparks to fly. Kirigiris managed to dodge out of the after some shots and tried to attack us with his sword, only for Kabu to back and side step away. Kabu then attacked with punches, enhancing them with both his speed and from close range shots of his cannons.

After a while, Kirigiris manged to kick us back, activating his power to star bouncing around, striking us any time he got close.

'Not this again, god what a pain.' I mentally groaned. "Not to worry, I have everything figured out." Instead of using his speed to enhance our arms or legs, he directed the power to our head, genius. "Sensors at full capacity, I've got you now!" He redirected the speed to our left leg, spinning around and slamming Kirigiris' stomach with our knee, making the Imagin cough up sand and fall to the floor.

"B-b-b-b-but…I was so fast…."

"I ran my calculations, finding the most logical patter for your jumping attacks." Kabu said as he took a few steps away from the pained Imagin, getting a good distance. "Probability increased to 100%." He pulled out the Rider Pass and scanned it.

FULL CHARGE!

Orange energy flowed to the barrels of the cannons, slamming our hands together Kabu aimed at Kirigiris.

"Incineration Cannon!" He got into a good stance and fired at laser directly through the AntHopper, making him yell before exploding.

(End Song)

Kabu rolled his shoulders and unclipped the Belt, jumping out of my body. "And that's a job well done." I sighed as the two of us walked back to the group.

"Excellently done, I'd expect nothing less." King Pen smiled.

"Oh, uh…thank you Grandmaster, but like I said, I'd be nothing without my Imagin, there always there for me." I smiled towards my Taros, getting different reactions, mostly pleased though.

"I….I believe I owe you an apology." Wild Storm said as he stepped forward. "I treated you as a lesser warrior, when in actuality you have the makings of greatness." He bowed. "Please accept my deepest apology."

Momo chuckled and crossed his arms. "Maybe next time that'll teach ya." He snarked in which I flicked the back of his head. "Gah, ugh fine, I accept."

I smiled the interaction, seems everything's ended just as well as it began.

[~~~SCREEEEEE~~~]

The loud, ear piercing noise was the only thing I could hear, all anyone could hear. I fell onto my knees, my head started to burn, eyes darted around, all I could see was what looked like reality bending and being messed with. The last thing my eyes focused on was the large shard of Imaginite, and the strange portal that opened next to it.

"I really must thank you for doing all the hard work, but now…..I'll be taking this." A voice said before the torture stopped and the crystal was gone.

"What was…..what was that…that pain?" Sieg asked, taking deep breaths like the rest of us.

"That feeling, I have never felt anything like it…" Star Cast groaned.

"Guys, whoever that was, just got away with the Imaginite." I fell down into a seated position to rest myself. "We failed, I…..failed."

"Young Amy." I heard King Pen call me as I looked at him. "While we may have lost this one battle, the war for the betterment of Skylands is still to be fought, there is no sense of wallowing in self-pity." He assured me, resting one of his wings on my shoulder. "Besides, I believe we did good today, we saved an endangered creature, and it appears to want to thank you."

Confused by what he meant, I looked up to the Crystalizersaurs who was nipping at the crystals on his back. With a quiet snap he turned his head back to me and gently placed down something in front of me. It was another Imaginite crystal, this one much smaller than the other, about the size of my hand. The dino rumbled gently and nudged it towards me. Not wanting to seem rude, I picked up the gem and stood, looking at the creature with a smile.

"Thank you." I said. He purred once again before letting out one final mighty roar and descending back into the cave. As I watched it leave, I took another look down at the gift it gave me, sure I didn't win this time, but no one really knows how the future goes anyway.

[Imagin General War Room]

Negataros chuckled, finally a victory for his side. In front of him was the large Imaginite crystal, as per gifted by the Wendigo Imagin standing beside it.

"I must say Wendigo, I am very much impressed, congratulations." He said.

"Well I do aim to please after all, taking this beauty was a simple task. Why do things yourself when others can do it faster?" Wendigo spun his staff before taking a showman's bow.

"Excellent." Negataros stood up and walked over to the crystal. "Now for the next phase of the plan." His hands began to fuel with an evil magic as he transferred the power into the crystal, it started to chip and break before shattering into pieces, only to then reform and shape itself into a new being.

His chest was purple and garbed with small chains hanging off it, as well as a pair of angelic wings hanging off the back. On his left arm had rocks on the shoulder and upper arm, while the forearm was skeletal and bone like. His right arm had coral on the shoulder while the forearm was mechanical. His thighs were light bluish, with feathers decorating his hips, meanwhile his left vines and the right leg was cosmic like. Finally his head was very demonic, and even had fire like hair spurting from it.

"Behold, my master piece. Elementaros." Negataros proclaimed as the new born Imagin looked around, humming to himself. "Now, who is your master?"

"My….master?" Elementaros wondered. "Are you saying you command me?"

"Yes, I am your creator, Negataros, you will serve me, and assist me in destroying the Den-O!"

"Destroy the Den-O huh?" He hummed. "How about…..no!" He backhanded Negataros, sending the leader crashing into the chair as Wendigo went to help him. "I think…I'll be my own master." He said before using his powers to create a portal beside him. Turning into a ball of multicoloured light, he flew in and the portal closed.

"Um, pardon me asking sir, but what just happened?" Wendigo asked dumbfounded.

"I believe…..I just made an Imagin strong enough…..to destroy time."
