Thankfully, Derek is able to clean up the mess rather quickly and efficiently this time around, so the crowd isn't kept waiting for too long before the next two contenders are raised up on their pedestals.
"Before we begin this round, we would like to give a word to one of our sponsors: Tim Allen! Have you ever found yourself feeling the oddly specific combination of in need of a friend and in need of home repairs? Well, Tim Allen is there for you and your house! Just call him up and he'll hang out with you all day while he works on fixing up whatever you need. In response to this sponsorship, we've dubbed this next round 'Tim Allen Wrench'! It's Kyle the Performer going up against Dave the Tool Guy! Each competitor represents one half of Tim Allen's services! So, let's see what should be valued more: someone who will keep you entertained, or someone who will repair your stuff!" As Ciqufrinz announces this, the big screen shows a zoomed in camera shot of Tim Allen in the crowd, standing up and waving a stack of business cards, which he begins handing out to audience members who approach him. Soon after the announcement ends, Attota sounds the horn, and Dave and Kyle both step off of their pedestals, with Kyle taking a deep bow and giving a glistening white smile and wink at Dave. Dave smirks and crosses his arms, tapping his foot on the sandy floor, before speaking up.
"You've got quite the name for yourself, aye? Seems like you don't exactly have much of a fanbase here." Dave says, and Kyle merely shrugs.
"Nothing will please everyone, dear. But at the same time, everything pleases somebody! That's the beauty of being a performer. No matter what I do, it will always appeal to someone out there." Kyle makes a waving gesture at Dave. "Anyways, why don't you do the honors and start off the match? I'm hoping we can keep this more civilized than the previous matches."
"Alright, if you say so." Dave puts his arms out in front of him, and twiddles his fingers, and the air in front of him shimmers, before manifesting his Stand, MC Hammer, which fittingly takes the form of a rather large hammer floating above the ground. Kyle snorts in amusement.
"What are you going to do? Smack me with that? It looks very slow and clunky." Kyle remarks.
"Quite the contrary, actually. I couldn't smack you with this if I wanted. In fact, I can't smack anything with it. Or even touch anything with it. Don't believe me? Watch this." Dave brings his hands in a downwards slamming motion, and MC Hammer swings towards the ground, but rather than colliding with the sand, the sand seems to move downwards away from the hammer, sliding out of the way to avoid making contact. In fact, upon further inspection, it seems the entire planet is actually being moved by this! Radius RR 6 in its entirety is being shifted through space to make sure that it doesn't come into contact with MC Hammer! Kyle stumbles and loses his footing as a result of this, landing in a very unflattering position on the ground and getting sand all over his face and hair. Dave stops moving MC Hammer and reaches to his tool belt, pulling out an ordinary wrench and running at Kyle with the wrench at the ready to use as a weapon. Before he can reach Kyle, though, a ghostly humanoid figure shoots into the air from Kyle's back, before spinning through the air right at Dave. Dave can't move fast enough to avoid the figure, but to his surprise, it simply dissipates against him when it reaches him, seemingly not harming him in any way. Dave blinks a few times, and looks back at the wrench he's holding.
"Huh. You know, this isn't the first wrench I've used. I dropped my original wrench down a sewer grate one time. It took days to get it back, and it was hardly even worth it...but I found some other funny things down in that sewer. There was a lot of really pretty graffiti. Man, I wish I'd brought a camera and taken pictures of it!" Dave lets out a laugh, seemingly completely becoming distracted from the fight, while Kyle stands up and dusts himself off, chuckling.
"You seem to have forgotten the task at hand, Davey boy! Or perhaps, you're simply remembering a bit too much? It appears that you've fallen under the effect...of September!" Kyle claps to himself, while an aggravated gasp falls across the crowd, many of whom aren't Stand users and as such didn't realize that Dave had been attacked by a Stand ability. Kyle twirls and dances in circles around Dave, who continues rambling about all of his tools individually, his eyes glazed over with a dreamy haze of nostalgia. Kyle grabs an ordinary hammer from Dave's belt, and tauntingly dangles it in the air.
"Hey, that's the hammer I used to fix Diametre's roof! Oh, that was one hell of a job, haha! Diametre is quite scary to work for, but he certainly pays well." Dave muses, while Kyle tuts smugly, before bringing down the hammer on Dave's head, over and over again, until he collapses to the ground. Kyle takes another bow to the booing crowd, and strikes a proud victory pose as he is transported to the victors' area, where he nonchalantly struts over to a chair and plops down into the seat, exchanging a glance with everyone else in the room. Pecha shoots him a spiteful glare, but he just smiles and winks at her, before leaning back in the chair and taking a nap.
