*Travis was shown outside while walking down the metallic pathway, until Jackie is shown approaching from behind while jogging.*
TRAVIS: We should be there by late afternoon, depending if nothing stops us. *He stated, only to approach the slums, he then stopped finally, in order to allow Aerith and Jackie to catch up, as he placed his metal hands in his metallic side racks*
*Aerith let out a small huff as she at least caught up to Jackie.*
AERITH: "For the love of Gaia don't attempt to knock him out anytime soon." She said with a smile and small laugh. "It's not worth it."
*Jackie glanced over to Aerith as she continued jogging.*
JACKIE: "Why isn't he acting like he can lead us in his condition?" She was almost tempted to start sprinting, but didn't. "Besides that he deserves it."
AERITH: Oh hush it, *She playfully called at Jackie only to hear Travis call out to the 2 of them.*
TRAVIS: Hey are you girls coming? *He stated looking at them ,* If not I can head over to Sector 1 on my own it's not a big deal. *He stated* Besides its quite a hike, And I can't fly for whatever reason. *He stated as he glared at his jetpack, as it puffed out smoke from the engines.* Yeah I got to result to walking. Anyway come on this way, we'll be at the Sector 4 gate in no time.
*Aerith picked up the pace and let out a small sigh.*
AERITH: "Well if you're gonna be walking this fast you might as well carry us." *She joked with a small laugh.*
*Jackie kicked the dirt as she reached them.*
JACKIE: "Oh your literally nothing, but a bucket of bolts, flesh, blood and bone." *She said.* "If this should be a hike for anyone it should be a hike for you." *She glared at him and started walking, muttering something under her breath.*
TRAVIS: You know if you don't wanna tag along, you can hang around and make your own adventure, no one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to do this okay *Travis stated, as he hopped over a metal fence, which led to the Slums area.* Our destination is at the end of the slums. Come on this way.
*He stated as he moved through the streets, this time slowing his walking pace in order to allow the girls to catch up.*
*Aerith patted Jackie's back.*
AERITH: "C'mon cheer up once this is over how about we go visit the others." She said flashing a smile before going over the fence.
JACKIE: "That'll be nice I guess."
*Jackie said with a small smile as she went over the fence and followed behind the other two wondering about something.*
*In the Slums it no longer changed as much as it did 14 years ago before the Meteor strike occurred, people were still living in poverty, and the streets were no longer that different, some people were good, while others were mean, however a Travis continued to walk through the streets, he grinded a bit as he felt his head, but fought it off as he continued walking on the street.*
*Aerith hummed quietly as she walked not necessarily knowing if she wanted to start small talk seeing how Jackie was being hostile and Travis was injured, so she just decided to stay quiet.*
*Jackie crossed her arms as she walked behind the two not letting her soft side get the best of her especially now.*
JACKIE: "I should have left when I had the chance." *She said to herself knowing that she didn't exactly mean it.*
*Travis ignored her words, only to see Evil Aerith standing on top of one of the buildings, waving, with a creepy smirk on her face, Travis shook his head, and continued on. Some of the citizens witnessed Travis stop and look at one of the buildings but saw nothing on it, and began to become concerned, some actually were saying.*
MAN: What happened to him?
WOMAN: Travis is damaged and full of holes.
*Some of the people in Sector 5 were staring at them not at Aerith but at Travis, as a matter of fact one man even said.*
MAN: Its Travis Hans,
MAN#2: I thought he vanished, He hasn't been seen since 2010,
*Many talks were being mentioned by most of the citizens, but Travis was ignoring everything as his main goal was to get into Sector 1.*
TRAVIS: Yes Everyone I'm still alive, don't mind me, just continue what your doing, okay Sayonara. *He told everyone, while walking backwards before turning to continue on. Some people were shocked on what happened to his face and body.*
WOMAN *To her Husband* What happened to him. He looks chipped up.
HUSBAND: I don't know.
*Aerith picked up on some of the conversations and jogged up to Travis.*
AERITH: "Someone seems to be famous." *She said giggling as she looked back to Jackie before looking at Travis with a smile.*
TRAVIS: Perhaps, *Travis stated* But more of concern. *He stated, with a smile toward the flower girl*
*Within moments the trio were finally out of the public street.*
*As the group were walking off the pathway, they were approaching the official Construction site of Sector 5 where they would have to get past it in order to get over to Sector 4. However, while they were walking. Travis then spotted something in the air, and saw Evil Aerith Flying in the sky as she waved hello before disappearing into the clouds. He shakes his head to try and get his vision back together as he looks back up into the sky and doesn't see anything.*
TRAVIS: *Silently.* God Damn it.
AERITH: "What's wrong?" *Aerith asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.* "Is everything alright?"
*She asked, looking around somewhat concerned.*
*Travis realized that the girls or at least Aerith might have heard him talk, he turned to her and said.*
TRAVIS: Oh I'm fine Aerith, don't worry about it, anyway we are here, Come on we got to get to the top of this Construction site, for at the top lies the key to sectors 4 and 3 at the same time.
*Travis began to climb the ladder at fast speed to the point that he was at the top in a matter of seconds*
AERITH: Alrighty." *She said climbing up the ladder behind him.*
*Jackie let out a small sigh as she climbed up the ladder and decided that she would attempt to be less hostile and not make a smart remark.*
*As Travis waited for Aerith to climb up an idea came up, as he came up with a plan to have a little fun with Aerith by playing her own game and actually teasing her a bit. As she reached the top of the ladder he sat down on a pile of wooden planks that were strong enough to hold him up and said*
TRAVIS: What took you so long Aerith, I've been here for at least 2 minutes.
AERITH: "Ha ha so funny." *She said with a smile as she dusted herself off.*
*Jackie looked at the two and rolled her eyes as she looked up at the sky, tapping her foot somewhat impatiently.*
*Travis then made his way through several flights of stairs on the construction site, as he moved through and passed several support beams and metal structures, before finally reaching the Crane, and climbing up, to the point he ended up high up until finally reaching the top of the crane, as he looks down.*
TRAVIS: *Calls down to Aerith and Jackie* Oy! Hurry Up Girls, you two ladies wouldn't wanna to lose to an old cyborg now would ya Ha ha ha ha. *Dashes on the crane while they were all the way at the bottom of the crane 300 feet below.*
*Aerith looked up and laughed.*
AERITH: "Your own!" *She yelled running up after him.*
JACKIE" "Hey! Wait up!" *Jackie yelled running after the two doing her best to keep up or more of not trip and hurt herself.*
*As Travis waited he saw Aerith and Jackie come up as he sat down with his arms folded across his chest on top of part of the Cranes Power box.*
TRAVIS: Aye what gives, I thought we were supposed to be friends, why didn't you beat me up here, *Travis stated while holding in the urge to laugh at both girls, as they had just climbed 300 feet.*
*Aerith smiled.*
AERITH: "Well it's not our fault that we aren't part robot like you. "She said with a giggle.
*Jackie sighed.*
JACKIE: "This is the first and last time I ever go with you two, since going with you guys involves way too much climbing." She chuckled.
TRAVIS: Oh is that so Jackie, I thought you were supposed to be tough, I thought you were supposed to be the ultimate soldier, *Travis stated walking around her then said.* I also thought that nothing phases, you, but yet here we are on top of a crane and you are being defeated, made a mockery out of climbing? I thought better of you kid, but I have been wrong before, I guess, you really aren't that good of a soldier if you can't handle a simple ladder, *He stated with a chuckle as he walked on down the Crane side with a soft chuckle in his voice as he past Aerith.*
*Aerith watched knowing that Jackie wasn't going to respond to the well and backed up a bit and prepared for the worse.*
*Jackie clenched her fists and looked at him.*
JACKIE: "Well watching your family die and your own village where you were born and raised destroyed before your every eyes kinda takes a lot out of you." She said fighting the sudden urge to pull out her katana.
*Travis wasn't trying to get on her past, but since she brought it up, he just stopped and said.*
TRAVIS: Your not the only one who lost a family kid, You at least got to see them, you at least got to say goodbye, I never got that chance when I lost my mother, I will not fight over something like this, I was human just like you were once, then I died, and I became this, you think I'm proud of it, I was never there, for my mother when she needed me, I lost her, I lost my dad, I lost everyone, and when was I? In the ground, by the time I was turned into this, It was too late, I became everything that I promised my mother that I would never be, and I ended up being Shinra's super soldiers, doing their bidding like a bunch of puppets on strings, You at least have the chance to move forward, you at least had the chance to live a happy life with your family before they died, I never had that, You can hate me all you want, but you can't change the past, I've tried, it didn't work out well. Every night I close my eyes. I see my mother screaming where I was, and how I was never there to save her, I then had a dream, one where I saw her. I felt like I was human again, I was a child, I had a great time with her. *He said with a smile, until it turned into sadness.* Until I asked if she would always be there, then everything fell apart, The sky soon changed, I was confused, until I noticed a black dark void coming in. *Travis stated while looking at Jackie in the eye, showing no fear or hostility.* She then said, Farewell my son I know you will make the right decision. I tried to get to her, but the minute I moved I turned from a normal little boy into what I am today, and I could do nothing but watch, as she was pulled into the black abyss. I woke up sad, Every day I wanted to destroy myself, *He said walking toward Aerith* But I am not there yet, I made my mother a promise after Sector 7 was destroyed. Especially after Hunter Curtis and I tried to save it, we were the ones that were supposed to destroy Sector 7 14 years ago back in 2007, but we refused, and instead they had their forces do it instead, by the time we got there to try and help it was too late, The pillar blew up in my face, and I ended up getting nearly crushed to death by the plate, and beaten into a pulp by an enraged Barret with an MG Arm, blaming me for the death of his daughter Marlene, when all this time she was in Aerith's house. Ever since that day. *He said walking back toward the area he was before.* I made my mother a promise that I would never see anyone die like that again. You can hate me Its not going bother me Jackie, I'm used to this, everyone on Gaia hates my guts, to this day I'm surprised Aerith doesn't yet, but if you wanna hate me that is fine, you don't have to help me, I'm not going to fight I'm not going to show any hostility. I just want you to understand that you're not the only one hurting inside. *After saying what he had to say he slowly turned his back and continued walking.*
*Aerith looked down trying her best not to cry or do anything drastic.*
*Jackie stood there as she wiped a few tears away.*
JACKIE: "Well nobody said I hated you, but alright." *She said letting out a small shaky breath as she walked over and patted Aerith on the back softly.*
