Arc 2 Chapter 6: Exam A
There were hundreds of students in their hero costume in a big crowd. Izuku was amazed by how many students there were. A lot of students from various hero schools. They all had one common goal; To pass the exam.
"So many people all in one place," Izuku stated.
Ochako nodded. She then took his hand.
"We'll get through this together. Just like always." She tells him.
Izuku smiles, turning towards her. "Just like always."
"Have I ever told you how sexy you look in your hero costume?" Ochako asked.
"Not as sexy as you," Izuku retorted with a smirk, as he took her by the waist.
The two of them were about to share a kiss when….
"AHEM!" a voice startles the 2 from behind. "If you two love birds are done having a moment here, we need to get going."
"Oh please, Kaachan, keep the PDA laws to yourself, i know you well enough to know that you spend all your free time sticking your tongue down Camie's throat." Izuku comments causing the explosive blonde to well, explode.
"Oh atleast I get some time with my girl, all you do is train." Katsuki retorts.
"Hey, for your information, I do spend time with Ochako, I just don't stick my tongue down her throat every chance I get, cuz most of the time our daughter is around and you know how she gets with all the PDA" Izuku defends.
Meanwhile
Eri sneezed while reading a card in her hand. She was playing chutes and ladders with her "Auntie" Midnight. Midnight looked at her.
"Something wrong sweetie?" she asked.
"No Auntie Midnight," she said, "I just had a feeling that someone was talking about me.
Back at the Exam
"Homies, homies, let's not fight!" Camie said smiling, "We're all aiming to pass together aren't we?"
"And Izuku next time you feel like 'sticking your tongue down' my throat, all you have to do is ask." Ochako tells the boy, for him to blush like an idiot and almost pass out from a nosebleed.
"Wow, you two are both disgusting, and adorable," Kaminari commented.
"At least we're not idiots!" Izuku shouts at the boy.
"Don't encourage him," Jirou said.
"Is someone jealous?" Kaminari whispers to Jiro causing her to blush and stab her jacks into Kaminaris eye.
'Sorry doofus,' she whispered.
"Why does it always have to be the eye with you!" Kaminari exclaims as he holds his eye in pain.
Ochako suddenly remembered something. She then kicked Katsuki in the buttocks hard, and he screamed in pain.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" Katsuki shouted.
"For teaching Eri how to flip people off," Ochako said, "Next time, you'll be sent to the stratosphere." she playfully warned him.
"We're getting off topic so we should move to the next scene," Sero said.
He then pushed the current scene away, and now we find ourselves to the main room where someone was on top of the stage giving out his speech.
"So let's get this thing over with," the person said, "every year there are about over a thousand students who take this test. My name is Mera and…. god why the hell cant I sleep!"
People were confused.
"No matter what the motive, the expectation of a hero is simple; put your life on the line and rescue others, but don't seek trouble," Mera explained, "Time is one of those things that a hero holds dear. In fact, time is one of the things you will be tested on."
He pulled out some rubber balls.
"Each examinee will have three targets on their bodies, and each of you will have 6 balls," Mera started, "And if all three targets are hit you lose."
"This is different compared to the entrance exam," Momo told Kenshi who nodded back.
"This is on a whole different level," Mina said, "But I'm welcome to a challenge."
"Once the expansion is done you will all get the Balls needed." Mera told the students.
He then pressed a button. Just like that the roof opened revealing a giant arena with various landscapes and terrains. The students were taking a minute to look around. Bakugo started to walk off.
"Bakugo, wait," Kenshi said, "Something seems off. For safety measures we should team up and take them head on."
"Good luck with that," Katsuki said, "I'm taking them on my own first chance I get."
"Hold on Bakugo, taking on the enemy by yourself could result in a catastrophe," Iida said, "We should do as Jotaro suggests and strike as a team."
"I told you to call me Jojo," Kenshi told Iida.
"And I told you to stop saying my catchphrase, Kero," Tsu said
"Right…. as Jojo suggests." Iida corrected himself.
"Didn't you hear the old geezer? It's a race against time," Katsuki told them.
"Let him go, Iida. Kaachan will cause collateral damage if he stays here with his blasts." Izuku tells the group.
"3…."
Izuku started channeling Power Stack And OFA around his body. Kenshi got in a ready position.
"2…."
Other students were getting ready as well. Rin was determined to take Kenshi down.
"1….. GO!"
The exam officially started. Students began to gang up on Izuku and the others. One of them walked forward.
"We know about all your fancy moves so I doubt they'll work on us!" He said. He had balls ready to throw at them. They all came fast paced. Izuku jumped forward doing a vertical spin kick.
"Wyoming… SMASH!" He shouted.
The kick was so strong it emitted a whirlwind blowing the balls away from the students. One of the students had a hardening quirk similar to Kirishima only he could make other objects hard. He started throwing some. Another student threw some underground. They had ultimate moves of their own. They were determined to take down U.A before they even had a chance!
"Let's not back down everyone!" Izuku said, "As your class president, I'm gonna lead you all to victory and make sure we all pass! Let's do it!"
"YEAH!" Everyone shouted.
Momo created a shield, Mina had her hands ready, Toru created forcefields, Kenshi had a gaming weapon in his hands. Class A was ready to pass this exam and work together!
Izuku's eyes started to glow. He had a vision of the balls coming from under. He then turned to Jiro.
"Jirou!" He warned.
"On it boss!" She said.
She jumped down and revved up for one of her ultimate moves. She placed her earphone jacks into some gauntlets she got from Melissa.
"By plugging these earphone jacks into your Gauntlets you should be able to increase the range of your sound waves. A hard punch might do the trick"
Jiro smirked and punched the ground. The sound wave stopped the underground balls from coming any further.
"Heartbeat FUZZ!" She shouted as the ground shook to the rhythm of Jirou's heart.
More balls came in other directions, but Mina used her acid to shield them.
"I managed to update your costume based off Jojo's suggestions. Now you should be able to shoot acid from your shoes as well. You can also make shields using the acid from your hands."
The acid she shot out protected her and the others from the balls and melted them. "Acid VEIL!"
Kaminari stepped forward and decided to use his new gear to work. He thought about what Melissa said.
"Try focusing a small amount of electricity for when you do this ultimate move of yours. It will go a long way in using it for the exam."
Kaminari envisioned a sword. Using the electricity, he managed to create the sword that was conjured from electricity. He used it to slice the incoming balls to pieces. "I'm gonna take this one from Naruto, Raikiri!"
Jirou was no doubt amazed at what he just did. "No wonder I developed a crush on him," she said.
One of the students stepped up. His quirk involved shaking the ground, and also making it break. He decided to put one of his ultimate moves to use. The ground started to shake and the terrain started to move. Momo was near an area where the ground was being lifted and crumbled. She lost her balance and started to fall. As she continued to descend, she found herself falling slowly.
She looked up to see Kenshi who had her bridal style. He was wearing some kind of ancient wings and armor. Kenshi looked down to her and smiled.
"Looks like you fell for me," Kenshi said as he smirked.
Momo playfully punched his arm and said, "You're always full of surprises Kenshi."
Katsuki, Camie and Kirishima were face to face with a student from Shiketsu High, Seiji Shishikura. His quirk involved manipulating human flesh into small sized balls. He then faced Camie.
"We may be friends outside of school life Ustushimi," Seiji told her, "But from here on out, we're rivals."
He stepped forward.
"This exam is our moment to shine, and to show the world what Shiketsu High is truly made of, so unless you want to end up a pile of useless flesh, I suggest you stand aside, because I don't plan on losing," he said, "Now is the time to show the world what a mudstain U.A truly is compared to students like us."
Katsuki had an explosion charged up in his hand.
"Well if you're so powerful as you say," he said getting ready to fire, "then why not show us with actions instead of just words?"
He started hiss ultimate move. He only fired the explosion from a specific spot from his hand while using his other hand to make the explosions smile.
"AP Shot: AUTO CANNON!"
He started firing the explosions at Seiji. He quickly evaded most of them, but some of the shots got to him peeling off some of the flesh he had built. He was amazed at how the students were growing stronger.
"Perhaps I underestimated you quite a bit," he said, "However, playtime is over. It's time to get serious!"
He manipulated more flesh and made a giant hand. He controlled it and used it to try and squash Katsuki. Kirishima pushed him out of the way, and then hardened himself to soften the blow. Camie grabbed her staff and was ready to brawl.
"Its not really fresh of me to fight my homies, but in this exam, I would totes make an exception," Camie said.
She started swinging at Seiji who simply countered using his flesh weapons. He used a few pieces of flesh like projectiles and launched them at Camie. She decided to use a technique that Momo taught her. She spun her staff around deflecting the flesh away from her and the others. Bakugo had an idea.
"Camie, you think you can keep him busy?" he asked, "I think I got a plan."
"Sure," Camie said.
"Just do whatever it takes, and wait for my signal," Katsuki said as he climbed upwards.
"You know, I'm a year older than you," Camie told him.
In the main area, Kenshi, Momo, Jirou and Tsu were running into a building. Two other students spotted them attempting to escape. Kenshi used his scouter and spotted them. He then tried out his new Ultimate Move. He thought back to what Melissa told him.
"This new suit should be able to let you use the 'glitch energy' to level up your weapons and give them a punch in power, especially the ranged ones."
He then pulled out a Bowcaster from the Battlefront franchise. He started firing at the balls protecting himself and the others as they made their way inside. Jirou approached him.
"Hey can I try that?" she asked.
Kenshi gave it to her. Jirou had an idea. She took the two balls that were next to her. She fired a blast at the two students knocking them down and hitting their weak points. Needless to say she was impressed by the firepower.
"I like this," she said.
Aizawa was observing the action. He was certain that his students would pass this exam. Primarily, his 6 'favorite students'.
Three other students were watching them. Rin was among the three other students. He remembered giving them a binder that told them about each of their quirks and abilities. He was determined to make Kenshi fail in front of the entire world.
"Begin phase 1….." he said.
