Just cause I love you guys, here a few little slaps in the face. Some of you may have seen this coming. If you have a good "radar", then you definitely did. Sorry it's short. To help put the sizes in perspective, Alexandru is taller than most lynxes, but still, much shorter compared to a bear. Alexandru comes up to about Borya's shoulders. Centered perfectly, the top of Alexandrus head would hit Borya's chin, while Alexandrus feet came to pants length on Borya's legs.
This chapter is for my brother. Never be afraid to be who you are. I love you, bro.

Alexandru took the towel off his shoulder and laid it on the handle of the stove. The clock flashed 12:00, and Alexandru smiled. Finally, he was on break. Alexandru walked out of the house and down the driveway. He opened the hidden door in the wall and stepped out. He changed into a vampire so he could move silently and began creeping up on the guard booth. He could hear a movie playing on the bear's laptop. The door to the booth was open
Alexandru crept inside and stood behind the bear, who was lounging in his chair, eyes fixed on the screen. Alexandru raised his hands and quickly cupped them over the bear's eyes. He leaned in close and whispered in his ear.
"Guess who!" He said.
"Hello, Alex." The bear said. The bear pun around in his chair and grabbed Alexandru, bring him into the chair with him. Just as quickly, he turned back and propped his feet up next to the laptop again. Alexandru fit into his fame. The bear laid his head between Alexandru's ears. Alexandru propped up his own legs, laying them across the bear's thick legs. The bear closed his arms around Alexandru.
"Miss me, Borya?" Alexandru said, tilting his head back. The bear looked down into Alex's eyes.
"Always, my love." The bear bent down, stealing a quick kiss. They pulled back and Alexandru looked at the laptop.
"So, what are we watching today?" He asked, still snuggled into the bear's frame.
"I was thinking The Birdcage," Borya said.
"Hmm, how about the original, La Cage aux Folles, instead?" Alexandru asked, once again looking up.
The bear looked up ap as well.
"Look down." Alexandru teased, reaching up and scratching the bear's chin.
"No, I don't think I will." The bear said, still staring up.
"Come on..."
"Nope."
"Look at me."
"Not happening."
"Please?"
Finally, the bear looked down instantly regretting it. Alexandru had completely filled his pupils, flashing him the "begging kitty" look.
The bear sighed and grabbed the laptop. He found the movie and began to play it.
"I hate it when you do that," Borya grumbled.
Alexandru had a look of contentment plastered on his face.
"Shut up and watch the movie," he said.
The bear kissed the top of his head and laid back. He put one arm behind his head and kept the other on Alexandru, holding the lynx to his chest.
Doina looked out of her window, where she could see the bear and lynx watching a movie together.
There they go again. She thought. She had seen them take these moments for years. They had never realized her window was in the perfect position for her to see right into the guard booth. But she had sworn herself to secrecy. She had a feeling Alexandru would not like it if she went around telling everybody he was not only gay but in a relationship with a bear as well. So she kept her mouth shut. But oh it had been so hard!. She wanted to tell someone so badly. She had thought about telling Judy, but just because Judy was okay with an interspecies relationship didn't mean she was supportive of the other kinds.
Doina just wished they would come out to everyone already. The fact that only Borya was allowed to call Alexandru, Alex, was definitely a clue, but otherwise, Alexandru kept it well hidden.
You know what? I'm going to confront Alexandru about it. He deserves to know that I know. Doina moved away from the window, plans already running through her head.
