Prologue
My name is April O' Neil, one of the human allies of my amazing friends, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles. As you can see, when I was younger, before I met the Squirtles and before I became a reporter for UBC Channel 6 News, I somehow ended up in serious danger. Sometimes, people take risks when they're trying to save the ones they loved. Even though I only had this Vulpix I have in my arms right now, for a few days, I've grown attached to her to the point that I would risk life and limb to save her and some other Pokémon from those villains chasing after me. But it seems their actions have angered that big, white Pokémon you see behind us. And it looks like it intends to burn this building to the ground and everybody with it!

Episode 9: The Story of April & Ninetailes
(Insert "Celadon City" from Pokémon)
It was a beautiful morning at Celadon City. April O'Neil and Misty Waterflower were on a shopping trip at the Celadon City Department Store, with the TMNS, Splinter and Casey Jones tagging along. Once again, the TMNS and Splinter were not wearing their ninja gear to blend in with the other Pokémon. Primarina and Ninetales were also out of their Pokéballs. Currently, April, Misty, Primarina and Ninetales were trying on different dresses. They each wanted to wear a fancy dress for Ash's upcoming birthday due to everybody else planning to dress up formal as well.
Primarina was currently trying on a beautiful off-the-shoulder pink & white gown with a white brim on the sweetheart neckline, which showed her breast cleavage. The dress also had long sleeves, and a peplum, white underskirt. "What do you think, Michael darling?" asked Primarina. She giggled as she did a skirt twirl. "Well. You look pretty in pink. You like you're ready to perform on stage," said Leonardo. Primarina began to blush as pink as the dress. "Thank you. I think this one's a keeper," said Primarina.
April was trying on a red dress with a court neckline. "How do I look Casey?" asked April. "Red definitely suits you, April. I think you should go for this one," said Casey. "Okay," said April. Misty was trying on a beautiful blue dress. The skirt was long & flowing and was the basic shade of blue. The panniers and the shirt area were a lighter shade of blue. There was also a shoulder strap on Misty's right shoulder that had a sapphire on it. The shirt also had a sapphire with a gold border. The one she wanted an opinion from was Donatello. "So, does the dress suit me, Sam?" asked Misty. "It definitely does. The dress' blue color does show your love for Water Pokémon," said Donatello. "Thanks," said Misty. Finally, Ninetales emerged from the dressing room in a dress she was trying on. It was orange and had a skirt with red & yellow flame patterns. "So, Frank. Do I look pretty?" asked Ninetales. "You look wonderful, Ninetales," said Raphael. "Thanks," said Ninetales.

After their shopping trip, April & co. went to eat at a restaurant. The TMNS, Ninetales and Primarina were having pizza as usual. Casey was having a dish of ravioli. April and Misty were having salads. Splinter was having rice. As Misty was eating, she had a troubled look on her face. "Something bothering you, Misty? You haven't been eating at your usual pace," said Splinter. Misty sighed. "It's Golduck. I'm not happy that he's starting to disobey me," said Misty. "Sometimes, a Pokémon's obedience is influenced by the way you treat them," said April. "How did you treat him back when it was a Psyduck?" asked Casey.
"The truth is, I caught Psyduck by accident. I didn't really want him to begin with," said Misty. "Really," said Michelangelo. "Yes. I first got Psyduck when Ash, Brock and I went to HopHopHop Town. Several children went missing and some Pokémon felt their energy getting drained. Back then, the Psyduck was under the care of the Nurse Joy who ran that town's Pokémon Center. The Officer Jenny who lived there used a sleep wave detector and traced the source to a Hypno, which belonged to the Pokémon Lovers Club. They were using the Hypno to help them sleep better. But in turn, it was causing the Pokémon to get fatigued. It also hypnotized the children into thinking they were Pokémon themselves. Eventually, we used their Drowzee to cure everybody. Brock was originally going to take care of Psyduck, but one of my Pokéballs fell and Psyduck went into it, therefore, making it mine," said Misty.
"So, how did you treat it?" asked Donatello. "Like garbage, unfortunately. When I wanted to call upon one of other Pokémon, Psyduck pops out of his Pokéball instead. It frustrated me. And he could only use psychic attacks if its headaches get intense. Ash didn't like the way I treated Psyduck. He always tried to encourage me to train Psyduck, but I never listened to him," said Misty.
"Hmm. Judging by how you're telling us about your treatment toward Golduck when it was a Psyduck, I think I've come up with a conclusion about why he's disobeying you," said Splinter. "And what is your verdict?" asked Misty. "Golduck must be taking out his bottled up anger caused by your mistreatment on you," said Splinter. "He is?" asked Misty. "Yes. It makes perfect sense. A Pokémon's attitude changes when it evolves. So upon evolution, Golduck is no longer dimwitted," said Splinter. "But what do I do? How can I regain his trust again?" asked Misty. "Well. You can start by showing him kindness to make up for your mistreatment toward him," said April. Misty sighed. "I wish Ash were here to help me," said Misty.
Just then, Misty saw someone familiar at a table next to them. It was a girl with blue hair and green eyes. She wore a red headband, a green & white dress with a red bow and a pair of red shoes. She was having white pizza topped with broccoli. "Oh my goodness. That's Erika," said Misty. "Who?" asked Casey. "Erika, the Celadon City Gym Leader. She also runs a perfume shop," said Misty. She then began to call out to Erika. "Hey! Erika!" called Misty. Erika turned around and saw Misty waving at her. "Misty is that really you?" asked Erika. "Yep," said Misty. "Misty, it's been a while! How've you been?" asked Erika. "I've been doing great. I finally got my sisters to take their Gym duties seriously. And now that they are, I can finally travel around as a Pokémon Trainer again," said Misty.
"You're not traveling with Ash and Brock anymore?" asked Erika. "When I left Ash and Brock after Ash won the Johto League Silver Conference, I had to go back to the Gym to take care of it while my sisters went on a global trip. But as you can see, I'm traveling with some new friends. This is April O'Neil, a famous news reporter from New Tork City. She's on vacation right now. Right here is her friend, Casey Jones. And right over there are April and Casey's Pokémon. Those are April's four Squirtles; Michael, Sam, Frank & Wayne. That is Casey's Raticate; Dareen. And those two over there are April's Ninetales and her newest Pokémon, Primarina," said Misty. "Hello," said Primarina.
"How did your Squirtles and Raticate get so big?" asked Erikia, scratching her head about how big they were. "They were exposed to some mutagenic ooze accidentally dumped into a sewer by T.C.R.I.," said Casey. "I see," said April. "You say you met Ash, Misty and Brock before?" asked April. "Yes. It was five years ago when Ash, Misty and Brock first arrived to the city. They helped stop a robbery at my perfume shop," said Erika. And she began to tell how it happened.
Five Years Ago . . .
Ash, Pikachu, Misty and Brock were entering the Celadon City after Ash caught a very angry Primeape along the way. After healing up his Pokémon, Ash & co. began to explore the city. "Ash, there's a stop I want to go to first," said Misty. "And what would that be?" asked Ash. "I hear that's a wonderful perfume shop on the way to the gym. I'd like to buy some," said Misty. "Okay. Even though I'm not much of a fan of perfume, I'm coming anyway. My mom's birthday is coming up in a week. I'll buy some and have it mailed to her," said Ash. "Forget the perfume. It's the girls that peak my interest!" said Brock, blushing madly, thinking about meeting the girls who worked there. "Oh brother," said both Ash & Misty rolling their eyes. "Pikachu," said Pikachu.
(Insert "A Huge Free-for-all" from Pokémon)
Just then, they heard a frantic voice. "Stop! Thieves! Stop thieves!" cried Erika. Ash & co. turned and saw a group of three thieves dressed in black, carrying a bottle. They were being chased by Erika and some of her assistants. "That bottle belongs to me!" cried Erika. "Not anymore!" said Thief #1. "This bottle now belongs to us now!" said Thief #2. "With it, we'll make our own perfume and we'll run you out of business!" said Thief #3.
"I don't think so!" said Ash, taking out a Pokéball. "Bulbasaur, reclaim that bottle from those three! But be careful!" said Ash, throwing the ball. The Pokéball opened and Bulbasaur came out. Bulbasaur was a small, quadruped Pokémon that has blue-green skin with darker green patches. It had red eyes with white pupils and scleras and pointed, ear-like structures on top of its head. Its snout was short and blunt, and it has a wide mouth. A pair of small, pointed teeth were visible in the upper jaw when its mouth was open. Each of its thick legs ends with three sharp claws. On its back was a green plant bulb, which is grown from a seed planted there at birth. The bulb provided it with energy through photosynthesis as well as from the nutrient-rich seeds contained within. "Bulbasaur!" said Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur then summoned some vines and he snatched the bottle away from the three thieves and handed it to Ash. "Hey!" cried the thieves.
"Now, use Razor Leaf to shred their disguises and reveal who they really are!" said Ash. "Bulba!" said Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur then began to hurl razor sharp leaves at the three thieves. The razor leaves sliced at the three thieves' disguises. Suddenly, their black clothes fell apart into tiny pieces, revealing they were actually Team Rocket. "It's Team Rocket!" cried Ash, Misty & Brock. "Pi Pikachu!" said Pikachu. "I knew you steal Pokémon, but why are stealing secret ingredients to perfume?!" asked Misty. "Why else? Money!" said James. "It was my idea to do so," bragged Jessie.

(Insert "Team Rocket Motto, Kanto-Johto Version" from Pokémon)
Then, Team Rocket began to recite their idiotic motto. "Prepare for trouble!" said Jessie. "Make it double trouble!" said James. "To protect the world from . . . ," said Jessie.
(Record Scratch)
Seconds later, their Team Rocket uniforms fell into pieces too, leaving them in their underwear! Even Meowth's fur was shredded, leaving him with bare skin. But he still had his whiskers though. The razor leaves cut at them too when they shredded their disguises. Half of Jessie's hair also fell off too! " . . . your underwear!" joked Ash, finishing Jessie's line. Bulbasaur did a wolf whistle before chuckling. Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, Erika, Bulbasaur and her assistants began to laugh at the sight of Team Rocket in their undergarments. And then, everybody else began to laugh at Team Rocket. Celadon City roared with laughter until you can actually hear the laugh from the top of hill outside of the city. Team Rocket's faces turned red in total embarrassment. Team Pansies then began to run off, to find a place to hide. "Look's like Team Rocket's running off in their underwear!" cried Team Rocket. And they disappeared out of sight. "That'll teach you not to steal from girls!" said Ash. "Bulbasaur!" said Bulbasaur.
"Oh thank you! Thank you!" cried Erika, running up to Bulbasaur. She proceeded to scoop up Bulbasaur in her arms and began to give him a big hug. She was also rubbing cheeks with the little Grass & Poison-type Pokémon. "I've always loved Grass Pokémon. But you, you were so brave to stand up to thieves and humiliate them by stripping them to their underwear," said Erika. Bulbasaur was feeling a bit uncomfortable due to being hugged by Erika. "Bulba," groaned Bulbasaur. Erika then gave Bulbasaur a big kiss on his forehead. Bulbasaur was grossed out by the kiss. "Bleah!" groaned Bulbasaur. "Aww. What's the matter? Too manly for kisses?" asked Erika. She then giggled. "I wish I were in that girl's arms and not Bulbasaur," said Brock, looking jealous. Misty proceeded to give Brock a dope slap. "Ow!" cried Brock. "Pervert," said Misty.
"Oh, by the way. Here's your bottle," said Ash, handing the bottle to Erika. Erika took the bottle. "Thank you, young man. You trained your Bulbasaur real well," said Erika. "Thanks. I'm Ash Ketchum by the way. And over there is my Pikachu and my two traveling companions, Misty and Brock," said Ash. "I'm Erika. I'm the manager of the perfume shop and the Celadon City Gym Leader," said Erika. "What a coincidence, we were on our way to the shop before heading to the Gym," said Ash. Some of Erika's assistants began to have dreamy looks as they stared at Ash. "Oh my. He's so handsome for a boy his age," said Assistant #1. "If he's single, then I'm available," said Assistant #2. "Get in line! I saw him first!" said Assistant #1. "Says who?!" asked Assistant #2. "Says me!" said Assistant #1. "Girls, girls. Please. Your embarrassing yourselves in front of our shop's saviors," said Erika.
Erika and her assistants led Ash & co. to her perfume shop. "So what was in that bottle that they stole?" asked Ash. "It was the key ingredient to my perfumes. A sample of my Gloom's smell. They wanted to steal it so that they can make their own perfumes," said Erika. "Hmph. People like them are too lazy to use their own ingredients. So they seek to steal off other people's successes," said Ash. "Lazy is the word," said Erika.
"By the way. Do you have any recommendations of perfumes to purchase. My mother's birthday is coming in a week and I want to buy something special for her," said Ash. "Well. There is one I think you're mother will love. It's been recently imported from the Alola Region by one of my cousins. Perfume making runs in the family," said Erika. She got out a pinkish-purple bottle of perfume. She opened it so that everybody could smell it. "Wow. That smells wonderful. What is it?" asked Ash. "It's a perfume made from the Poison & Fire-type Pokémon Salazzle. It's poisonous gases has pheromones that can be dulled to make luscious perfumes such as this," said Erika. She then closed the bottle. "In that case, I think I'll buy a bottle of that perfume along with some brands that she likes. I know my mom's gonna love it," said Ash. "Okay. And once you make your purchase, I presume you want to challenge me to a battle for the Rainbow Badge?" asked Erika. "Yep," said Ash. "I accept your challenge," said Erika.
Present Time . . .
"Ash was indeed a strong opponent. He knew exactly what Pokémon to use. He used his Charmander, Pidgeotto and Bulbasaur against my Grass Pokémon," said Erika. "Casey and I along with our Pokémon have met Ash when he visited New Tork," said April. "Where is he now?" asked Erika. "He's exploring the Decolore Islands before heading home," said Casey. "By the way. Ash's birthday is coming up in a few weeks. Are you available on that day to visit?" asked Misty. "Yes. I would love to come. I'd like to see how his Bulbasaur's doing. I remember how strong it was when it fought my Gloom," said Erika.
She then noticed April's Ninetales. "That's a beautiful Ninetales you got there," said Erika. "Thanks, I've had her since she was a little Vulpix," said April as she stroked her Ninetales. "Nine," said Ninetales. "Come to think of it. You never told us about how you first got her," said Casey. "We'd like to hear about it," said Raphael. "Okay. If you want to here about, I'll tell you. It happened at least two years after I thought I lost my Squirtles to the sewers," said April.
Thirteen Years Ago . . .
April O'Neil was ten years old back then. She was still traumatized about how she thought she lost her four Squirtles forever two years ago, unaware that she would meet them again, thirteen years later. Team Plasma had sent fear in the hearts of almost everybody in Unova with their goal of liberating Pokémon. Some were so scared that they gave up their Pokémon. It took the bravest of all people to refuse to give in to Team Plasma's threats and hold on to their Pokémon. And during this time, the Pokémon Hills Nature Park was closed to the public. The international police were determined to take them down so that everybody could hold onto their Pokémon.
One particular day, young April had come back from school and entered her apartment through her father's antique store. She then walked up the stairs to her family's apartment room. She opened the door and entered her room. "I'm home," said April. Her parents were waiting for her. Her father, Kirby O'Neil was a man with red hair with a beard & blue eyes. Her mother was Elizabeth O'Neil and she had brown hair and green eyes. "Hello, April," said Mrs. O'Neil. "How was school?" asked Mr. O'Neil. "The same as usual," said April.
"April, your father and I have been talking. We decided to welcome a new member to the family," said Mrs. O'Neil. "Really? As in a little brother or sister?" asked April. "Actually. The newest member of the family . . . ," said Mr. O'Neil. He took out a pet carrier bag. He unzipped it and out walked a baby Vulpix. " . . . is a new Pokémon for a you. A Vulpix," said Mr. O'Neil. "Vulpix," said Vulpix.
April stared at Vulpix, and Vulpix stared back. "I don't know, mom. You know how Team Plasma have been trying to force people to release their Pokémon. I already lost four Pokémon two years ago. I don't want to lose this one too," said April sadly. "Don't worry, April. You won't as long as Team Plasma don't know you even have one. We'll keep her here in the confines of our apartment until the International Police lock away every Team Plasma scum," said Mr. O'Neil. April smiled a bit. "Okay," said April. Vulpix jumped into April's arms. "Vul," said Vulpix as she nuzzled against April's shoulder. "Don't worry, Vulpix. I'll take good care of you," said April.
Over the course of the week, April O'Neil was taking good care of her new baby Vulpix. She made sure to feed it three times a day. April also played with it and groomed her beautiful fur. And most importantly, she made sure that Vulpix stayed inside the apartment so that Team Plasma will not know that she has a Pokémon. Unfortunately, what April didn't count on was that Team Plasma had started to figure out that the people of New Tork would have some way of hiding their Pokémon from them. So, they had Golbat scouts look around the city. On one particular day, a Golbat scout was flying around in New Tork City when it looked through one of the windows of April's apartment from a distance. It saw April grooming Vulpix. Vulpix cooed as it was getting groomed. It also had a spy cam attached to its head. The Golbat then flew to alert its masters.
Golbat arrived to an abandoned warehouse where a couple of Team Plasma grunts were hiding out at. With them was Dr. Baxter Stockman. Back then, he had a different hairstyle and had a mustache. "Golbat has returned," said Grunt #1. The Team Plasma Grunt removed the spy cam and began to play the videos it recorded. It showed people hiding their Pokémon, including April with her Vulpix. "So, the people of New Tork City think that they can hide their Pokémon from us. Well, we'll show them what happens to those who defy Lord Ghetsis," said Baxter. "What shall we do, Dr. Stockman?" asked Grunt #2. "We'll break into their houses tomorrow and take every single Pokémon in New Tork City. Once we do, Ghetsis wants us to take them all to the castle," said Baxter. He began to chuckle.
The next day, Team Plasma began to execute their evil plan. They began breaking into people's houses and stealing their Pokémon. April was coming home from school when she heard a racket coming from her apartment. She looked from behind a hiding place and could see her parents & Vulpix and two Team Plasma grunts that broke into the apartment. They had a Liepard and a Golbat. "Give us the Vulpix or we'll wreck this place to the point that no insurance company will be able to cover up all the damage we caused!" said Grunt #1. "No!" said Mrs. O'Neil. "Our daughter already lost four Pokémon, we won't allow her to lose another one!" said Mr. O'Neil. April was hearing the conversation. "Guess we'll have to take it by force," said Grunt #2.
"Liepard, use Night Slash!" said Grunt #2. Liepard charged and its claws began to glow black. It slashed at Mr. & Mrs. O'Neil knocking them down. They're weren't that hurt, but they were stunned. "Vulpix, run!" said Mrs. O'Neil. Vulpix began to make a run for it. "Golbat, use Mean Look on the Vulpix!" said Grunt #1. Golbat's eyes began to glow purple. Vulpix was paralyzed by the attack. April gasped. The two Team Plasma Grunts grabbed Vulpix and shoved her into a fireproof cage. "You're coming with us!" said Grunt #1. Vulpix began to let out squeals of help. The two Team Plasma Grunts and their Pokémon began to leave with the caged Vulpix. "Vulpix!" cried April.
The Team Plasma Grunts that were in New Tork City gathered at an extraction point where several helicopters were waiting for them. "We grabbed as many Pokémon as we could," said Grunt #3, showing a cage containing an Eevee and a Starly. "I grabbed as many as could before the police arrived," said Grunt #4, showing several cages containing some Pokémon. "Once Lord Ghetsis does the Awakening Ceremony, the rest of the world will have no choice but to release their Pokémon," said Grunt #1. As the grunts were loading the caged Pokémon into the helicopter, April had stealthily arrived to where they were. She saw that the grunts were also loading some crates containing some supplies. This gave April an idea.
Very soon, all the Team Plasma grunts loaded everything in the helicopters. The helicopters began to take off for the Team Plasma castle. April had successfully managed to hide in an empty crate. Hold on, Vulpix. I'll save you, thought April.
Present Time . . .
"Wow. Even though you were ten, you had the need to put yourself in danger to do the right thing," said Casey. "The way you're determined to save your Vulpix, despite the danger, you remind of Ash. He'll risk life and limb to save Pokémon from evil people like Team Rocket and Lawrence III," said Misty. "What happened next?" asked Erika. "Well," said April.
Thirteen Years Ago . . .
It was approximately sunset when the helicopters arrived to the Team Plasma Castle. Lord Ghetsis and six other leaders were waiting. N, Anthea and Concordia were waiting too. Ghetsis and his fellow leaders made up the Seven Sages. Back then, Ghetsis' robes were different from the ones he wore during the White Ruins affair. He had two additional locks of hair, which slid down to his shoulders. He wore a white robe, like his fellow Seven Sages, with an elaborately designed brown piece with blue rectangles above it, holding a two-toned cloak with eye patterns above his robe; the left side of his cloak was purple while the right was yellow. He wore brown loafers. The Team Plasma crest laid right below the collar of his cloak. The other sages' names were Zinzolin, Ryoku, Giallo, Rood, Bronius and Gorm. Back then, N wore white robes instead of the clothes he wore today. Anthea and Concordia's appearances were also different from how they appear in present time. Anthea wore a white dress with yellow panniers and golden bracelets. Concordia's hair was dyed a hot pink and she wore a white dress with a pink sash and silver bracelets.
"So, how did the raid on New Tork City go?" asked Ghetsis. "We freed the Pokémon from the abusive people who lived in the city," said Grunt #1. "Is the entire population of New Tork abusive toward Pokémon?" asked N. "Yes. Once we summon Reshiram, the rest of the abusive people all over the world will be put in their place. And you will fulfill your destiny, N," said Ghetsis. April could hear the conversation from inside the crate she was in. I was never abusive toward my Vulpix. Their views are totally corrupted, thought April.
Two Team Plasma grunts began to carry the crate where April was hiding. "Man, this thing's heavy. I thought this was supposed to be empty," said Grunt #2. "Maybe we should see what's inside of it once we bring it to the storage room," said Grunt #1. Oh no. If those two see me in this crate, then I'm a goner, thought April. The two grunts brought the crate into the storage room. Before they could open it, they heard a voice from Baxter Stockman. "Excuse me you two. Would you mind helping me get this equipment to my laboratory?" asked Baxter. "Sure thing, Dr. Stockman," said Grunt #1. The two grunts began to leave with Baxter Stockman. Whew, that was close, thought April.
After the two grunts and Baxter Stockman left, it was now safe for April to come out of the crate. "I've got to find where they're keeping Vulpix," said April. She tried to open the door to exit out of the storage room, but it was locked. "Locked in. If I stay here to wait for it to be unlocked, I'm going to going to get caught," said April. April then looked up and saw an air vent cover. "An air vent. That's it," said April.
It wasn't long before April climbed into the air vents and began to crawl through them, looking for the room where all the captive Pokémon were at. After crawling for about half an hour, she saw some light up ahead. She saw the light was coming from the room below. And in the room, were the cages containing the stolen Pokémon, including her Vulpix. She saw that there were two guards standing near the cages. April began to think of a plan to try to get the guards away from the cages. April crawled ahead and saw that outside the room was a hallway. Outside was some canisters full of gasoline. April got an idea. She got out a box of matches. "I know I'm not supposed to play with matches. But this is one time where I have to make an exception," said April.
The two guards were standing near the cages when they heard an explosion, followed by a fire alarm. "What was that?!" asked Guard #1. "Sounds like the fire alarm!" said Guard #2. The two guards ran out of the room to try to put out the fire. April then ran into the room and began to close the door. "What the?!" asked Guard #1. He ran back toward the door, but was too late to prevent it from being closed and locked out. While Guard #2 was trying to put out the fire, Guard #1 was trying to open the door. "Open this door, you little brat!" yelled Guard #1.
April ran to the cage containing her Vulpix and took out a paper clip. She used the paper clip as a makeshift key to open Vulpix's cage. "Vulpix!" cried Vulpix happily. She jumped into April's arms. "Oh Vulpix! I was afraid I was going to lose you!" said April, hugging her Vulpix. "Vul!" cried Vulpix. "We have to free these other Pokémon too," said April. April began to unlock the cages of the other Pokémon.
That night, Ghetsis, N, the six other sages, Anthea, Concordia, Baxter Stockman and some other grunts were gathered at the balcony of the castle. They were going doing sort of ceremony. Suddenly, everybody saw what appeared to be a fireball coming toward them and they gasped. "What's that?!" asked Giallo. Then, appearing before everybody was Reshiram. Ghetsis grinned. "Welcome Reshiram. We've been expecting you," said Ghetsis. Reshiram remained silent. Ghetsis turned to N. N stepped forward. "Reshiram. Ghetsis and I have summoned you because the people of the world have abused Pokémon. We need your help to save the Pokémon," said N.
Just then, everybody heard an explosion. Two Team Plasma Grunts were sent flying, screaming. "What the?!" asked Ghetsis. The explosion was caused by April, her Vulpix and all the Pokémon that she freed. "Hey! How'd you get here?!" asked Baxter. "I hitched a ride on one of your helicopters!" said April. "Reshiram! This girl here is one of the abusive humans. She's trying to steal the Pokémon we've liberated! She must be punished for her crimes!" said Ghetsis. Reshiram turned to face April. "Don't listen to him! I've only had this Vulpix for about a week and I've never shown any abuse toward her! Team Plasma are the real thieves! Not me!" said April.
"Silence!" said Gorm, punching April, knocking her down. This caused her to drop her Vulpix. This made Vulpix mad. She fired a flamethrower attack at Gorm, burning at part of his robe. Gorm yelped and cast his robe onto the ground. He stomped on it to put out the flames. Then, two grunts pointed net missile launchers at Vulpix.
Reshiram had been seeing everything. And seeing Team Plasma hurt April and threatening to hurt Vulpix made it mad. Very mad! Reshiram let out an angry roar. The first thing it did was fire a Flamethrower attack at the two grunts that were about to fire on Vulpix. The two grunts screamed as they felt themselves get incinerated by the white dragon's fire attack. Ghetsis gasped. "But why?! Reshiram!" cried Ghetsis. Reshiram just roared and started to fire more flames, which started to set the castle on fire. It also burned any unlucky member of Team Plasma who were caught in the path of its attacks. Among some of the people who got incinerated by Reshiram were Zinzolin, Ryoku, Giallo, Rood, Bronius and Gorm. They screamed as they felt their bodies being burned to ash. N, Anthea and Concordia were horrified at the sight of Reshiram's destruction. What is it that you deem unworthy?! What more do you want from us?!, thought Ghetsis.
April, her Vulpix and the other Pokémon had noticed that the flames were starting to surround them all. April and the Pokémon gasped. Ghetsis turned toward April and growled at her. "You! You ruined everything!" said Ghetsis. "You'll pay for this!" said Baxter. The two began to charge at April. Suddenly, Reshiram fired a fireball that exploded near Ghetsis and Baxter. The two screamed as they were sent flying off of the balcony. The two villains survived the fall, but were humiliated.
April and the Pokémon noticed they were completely surrounded. "Help! Somebody, please help!" cried April. She began to cough due to the smoke. April and Vulpix started to lost consciousness. But as April was passing out, she noticed Reshiram coming toward her. Reshiram went near April and the Pokémon. It could sense the purity in April's heart. Reshiram then scooped up April and the Pokémon and carried them to safety. N was watching everything. But suddenly, some flames exploded near N and he was knocked out.
When the flames died down, Team Plasma's castle was burned to the ground. N survived the fire and was being taken to safety by Anthea and Concordia. "It was a trick. Everything Ghetsis told us was a lie!" said Anthea. "The idea he would bring about Reshiram like that," said Concordia. "What will we do now?" asked Anthea. "It means we have no other choice. We have to protect N. Ghetsis must never use him again," said Concordia. Anthea nodded in agreement. The three then began to leave. Reshiram flew, carrying the Pokémon in its talons and on his back. After flying for a while, it reached the outskirts of New Tork City. It gently put April and the Pokémon down. Reshiram put Vulpix near April. Reshiram then began to fly away.
Hours later, April started to wake up, she found herself staring at her parents and Vulpix. "April, thank goodness you're awake!" said Mr. O'Neil. "Mom, dad. Where am I?" asked April. "You're back home," said Mrs. O'Neil. "How did I get here?" asked April. "We found you, Vulpix and the other Pokémon that were stolen by Team Plasma on the outskirts of the city," said Mrs. O'Neil. "But how did I get back to the city? The last thing I remembered before losing consciousness was Reshiram setting Team Plasma's castle on fire," said April. "Reshiram?" asked Mr. O'Neil. "I know it sounds crazy. But I did come face to face with the Legendary Pokémon. Although it incinerated most of Team Plasma, I think it may have saved my life along with the Pokémon's," said April. Vulpix went to April and began to lick her face. "Vulpix! I'm so glad you're okay!" said April. She began to hug her Vulpix. "The other Pokémon have been returned to their rightful owners," said Mr. O'Neil. "That's good, And I hope the world has seen the last of Team Plasma," said April.
Present Time . . .
"And ever since then, Vulpix and I grew close and I evolved her a little later," said April. "But we did encounter Team Plasma at the White Ruins. After that battle, that was the last the world's seen the last of Team Plasma, courtesy of the Foot Clan," said Casey. "That's quite a story," said Erika. April nodded. "How about you show you all my perfume shop?" asked Erika. "Sure. We not just have to look our best on the day of Ash's birthday, but smell our best too," said April. Erika then began to lead April, Casey, Misty, the Squirtles, Splinter, Primarina and Ninetales to her perfume.
The Squirtles, Splinter, Casey Jones and the others learned a great deal about April and Ninetales' past. Tune in next time, as the adventures of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles continues!

There you have it folks. The story of how April and her Ninetales (Or Vulpix back then) formed their bond. And now we know why Golduck is disobeying Misty. Misty will regain Golduck's trust toward the end of the Unova Saga. This fanfic shows that Erika's much nicer than in the anime. Erika's portrayal depends on my fanfics.
