After crying over her death, they both come back to their senses and go back up to the statue and defeat Vulture once and for all. But before they do, Vulture throws bombs at them but they miss. They make it up to the top to fight Vulture one last time.
"Shows over Toomes!" Spider-Man yells. "And this time you will get a defeat that will send you straight to hell" Black Cat says. Black Cat throws her cat frisbee at Vulture as he is approaching to her and he falls. Spider-Man tackles him badly and then Black Cat kicks him in the face. "This is for the murder of the great Gwen Stacy!" Black Cat yells. Vulture gets back up but Spider-Man and Black Cat move away. He flies up so he can attack them but Spider-Man uses his web and Black Cat uses her cat grapple to wrap him up leaving him to fall. Black Cat destroys his wings for good leaving his ability to fly gone. Vulture tries to get out but the web combined with the cat grapple leaves him no choice but to remain stuck. "Say goodbye to your powers and the rest of the world" Black Cat says. "What are you gonna do to me?" Vulture asks. "Sending you to the bottom of the ocean as bait food for the sharks. Enjoy it down there and remember the cat always wins against the bird" Black Cat says. She drops him all the way down to the ocean where he automatically dies upon entering.
"Well that's the end for him" Black Cat says. "Even though I don't agree with you dropping him to the ocean to die, I'm relieved that my struggle to defeat him is over now" Spider-Man says. "But are we still gonna be partners?" Black Cat asks. "Of course cat. But as long as you remain a hero, vigilante, whatever you call yourself as long as you don't go back to your thievery ways" Spider-Man says. "Deal" Black Cat says before giving him a high five. A helicopter comes by the statue to tell them about the Lizard terrorizing Columbia University. "Spider-Man! Black Cat! We got terrible news! The Lizard is currently terrorizing Columbia University and we need you two there now!" Policeman says. "We're on it guy!" Spider-Man tells him. The helicopter takes off with he other ones as they go to the university to stop the lizard. "What are you waiting for Peter? Lets go" Black Cat says. They then take off on their next battle.
