Hey ya'll! Back with chapter 21, I hope you enjoy! I wrote a good 6 chapters yesterday lol.

Monday, November 29th

(Julie is 20 weeks pregnant)

Julie pulled into her normal parking spot a little earlier than usual for a Monday morning. She had somehow wound up on the Winter Formal organizing committee for the second year in a row. The same formal that forced her to come clean to her mom about her relationship with Tim. How did I wind up on this committee again? I don't even want to go! The only reason she had gone the year before was because she was a member of the planning committee. This year she had tried to avoid being roped into helping but somehow ended up on it again. I probably can't even find a dress that would fit, gosh I hate dances...

She wandered into the cafeteria where they were supposed to be meeting, and she was the first one there. One by one the girls slowly showed up, and by the time they were all there they had no time to begin organizing the formal; they would have to push it back to their next available hour - lunch. Just great! Tim and I were supposed to go downtown for lunch today, and now I have to plan this stupid dance that I won't even be going to.

"Hey Tim, the other girls didn't show up on time this morning, so I've gotta plan the stupid Winter Formal during lunch and can't go with you..." Julie told him when she spotted him in the hallway. "I'm really sorry!"

"We can go tomorrow, do what you've gotta do," Tim responded with a reassuring smile.

"So what are we thinking for the theme?" Lois - Julie's former friend - asked. Lois happened to also be on the Winter Formal planning committee, they had been friends when Julie was Freshman but drifted apart as they got older - and the drift worsened when word came out about Julie's pregnancy.

The other girls threw out some theme ideas, and complimented or criticized the others ideas. Julie remained tight lipped and distant from the conversation, still upset she had to miss her lunch with Tim.

"Julie do you have any thoughts on the theme? You've been pretty quiet," One of the girls stated after noticing how distant Julie had become from the conversation.

"They're all really good ideas, I like all of them," Julie simply replied. I'll go with any theme to get out of this meeting early! She thought to herself.

"Are you even going to be able to come?" Lois rudely questioned.

"Why wouldn't I be able to?" Julie retorted, knowing exactly where Lois was headed with her question.

"Well I just thought since, well, you know your-"

"Lois quit!" The girl sitting beside Lois mumbled, elbowing her in the ribs.

"Ow! What was that for?" Lois squealed, oblivious to how rude she was coming off as.

"What? You thought because I'm pregnant that I can't come to the Winter Formal?" Julie responded with a demanding look. Lois, you picked the wrong person to piss off.

"No, she didn't mean it like that," The girl sitting beside Lois stated, trying to diffuse the situation.

"I know exactly what she meant," Julie retorted. "And no, I'm not going. But it has nothing to do with me being pregnant, it's because I don't want to go to the stupid formal." Julie stood up, now fuming. The two other girls were completely shocked, this took a real turn... they both thought.

"You think you can handle planning it without me?" Julie asked. The two other girls nodded and Lois just rolled her eyes. "Good because I quit." Julie walked off, dumping her tray in the nearest trashcan.

"Nice one Lois," One of the other girls muttered as Julie walked off. Julie easily spotted Tim sitting with a small group of football players, and sat in the empty seat next to him.

"Hey Jules," Tim greeted. "How'd the formal planning go?"

"Amazing," Julie sarcastically replied.

"Wow, that good?" Tim jokingly asked, sensing her extreme sarcasm.

"I quit, and told them I wasn't coming to the stupid dance anyways so it made no sense for me to help plan it."

"Very Tim Riggins thing to do," Tim joked. Julie was still fuming from her encounter with Lois and shot him a viscous glare. "My bad," Tim quickly apologized. "So what happened?"

"Freaking Lois had to open her stupid mouth and ask if I was even coming because I'm pregnant," Julis answered.

"How dumb do you have to be to ask that?" Landry Clark, who was sitting across from Tim asked. "just my two-cents."

"I'm sorry Jules..." Tim apologized for the encounter she had just had with Lois, he wrapped his large arm around her small frame and pulled her into him.

Julie walked into the house after school that day and hing her keys on the hook. She slung her backpack off her shoulder with a loud sigh. Shelley, who had been folding some laundry turned towards her niece.

"How was your day?" Shelley asked. Julie dramatically threw herself onto the couch.

"Just great!" Julie sarcastically answered running her hands through her long blonde hair. "My ex-best friend had to be a real pain today,"

"Do you want to talk about it?" Shelley cautiously inquired.

"Yeah sure, mom mom says I need to 'talk about my feelings'" Julie replied with air quotes. "Well this girl, that used to be my friend but isn't anymore assumed I wasn't going to this stupid dance that I got roped into helping with because I'm pregnant. Like what gives you the nerve to assume that, and then ask?" Julie vented.

"I'm sorry Jules," Shelley apologized.

"Why can't they just treat me the way they did before I was pregnant?" Julie asked with tears beginning to form in her eyes. Shelley moved to sit next to her niece and wrapped her in a hug.

"I don't know Jules, I wish I had the answer, and I wish that they didn't think of of treat you differently." Shelley tried to comfort Julie.

*sniffles* That chapter turned out wayy better than I expected, I hope ya'll enjoyed this!
