As Cody was the one that Sahl had confided in Obi-wan decided to take him with them when they went to the Temple. This was unusual because the clones weren't normally at the Temple 24/7 like Cody was going to be. They were only there for shifts or reporting to/ with their Jedi.

One look at how Sahl seemed to lean towards Cody as an untested authority figure made it so that no one said anything. He was just assigned to quarters next to Obi-wans with only Sahls in between then so there was a continuance of the normality established on the Negotiator. Sahl seemed less likely to freak out with both of them there, if only slightly. Even the strictest Master the relaxed the rule about not allowing others into the Temple when they felt Sahls fear levels lessen when she looked at Cody as if checking he was still there.

So the search for answers began with the trio, but there was a side mission when the reached the Creche. Because when they entered it Sahl started looking around it and began to remember before tugging on Cody's arm, "Commander, look at this!" She was excited for the first time, and they abandoned Obi-wan to Crechemaster Luna as they explored what Sahl remembered.

As Obi-wan learned that Sahls Crechemaster (whose name is Karyme) was found unconscious and without any memory of what had happened, Sahl joined into the simple games the children were playing. Cody started out watching, but was soon pulled into them as well. Smiling at the fun his Padawan and Commander were having Obi-wan left then alone and went with Crechemaster Luna as they went to find Crechemaster Karyme.

The game had changed by time they had returned into tag and all chased after each other. Obi-wan and the Crechemasters smiled as the Force sang with the simple joy of its children. Then T'welek Crechemaster Karyme saw the Norrian teen, stopped in her tracks and spoke, "Sahl?"

Instantly turning at the sound of her name the teen looked at her former Crechemaster and stopped suddenly. All joy left her as she stood at attention and made the bow as she did to all of the Jedi older than her. After straightening she opened her mouth to say something, closed it again, then fled. "Sahl!" Cody ran after her leaving Obi-wan and the Crechelasters to tend to the now crying children.

Shal had reached the roof by the time Cody caught up with her. Leaning on the wall keeping them form going off of it she was watching the traffic rush by below. Not turning around Sahl spoke, "She let it happen."

"The Dark Woman?" usually 'she' was the Dark Woman.

Shaking her head Sahl turned to him, "That Crechemaster." Looking at her legs as she slid down the wall and slumped at the base of it, "She let the Dark Woman take me."

Cody moved to sit down next to the slumped frame, "So you know why?" The kid shook her head, "Then you can ask the Creche Master."

Her head shot up at that, "What?"

Cody was watching the kids face, "You can ask the Creche Master what happened." Putting out a hand slowly as her eyes focused on him. Gently laying it on her shoulder like the brothers do, "I know what it's like to not understand why you were taken." A swallow as he put his hand back on his knees with the other, "But you have the chance to know more."

"And if…" she choked and swallowed hard before trying again. "If I can't get the questions out?"

He surprised both of them by unclasping the armor on his left forearm before motioning to that spot, "The squeeze my arm and I'll ask her for you." Looking at her carefully he caught a glimpse of the internal war, "But you don't have to do it today or tomorrow if you aren't ready. I'll be here to help anytime you want to do it."

She reached out and squeezed his arm with a slight smile of acknowledgement. And together they watched a few ships passing by overhead.
