Here's Chapter 9 for the 5th time. I think I violated some rules that's why it keeps getting deleted lol. Again, Hope yall enjoy this.

As he drops his cup of iced tea, Double D is in shock of what he sees. He then asks Kevin what is going on.

"K-Kevin? What in heavens am I seeing?" Says Double D with a confused look on his face.

"Why are you dancing with Marie?" he says. Confusion then turns to fury. It is obvious from Double D's facial expression that he's hurt from what is currently happening.

Kevin and Marie stood there for a couple of seconds because they were suprised with the appearance of Double D. The two stopped dancing immediately and tried to explain the situation.

"Yo calm down, alright? This isn't what it looks like" says Kevin as he slowly lets go of Marie's hand and walked towards Double D.

Marie is still upset about the whole "Double D not coming to prom" situation but the upset feeling became guilt as time passed by. The whole situation has gotten very awkward and none of the three kids are talking. Double D looks at Kevin furiously.

"Kevin, may I ask you why were you dancing with Marie? I specifically requested you to resolve this whole ordeal!" Double D says as he breaks the silence in the hallway.

"Bro, I already did. She was just looking a little lonely so I decided that we danced. That's all." says Kevin.

Double D clenches his fist. Rarely has Double D been this pissed and Kevin managed to push the right buttons. He considered Kevin as one of his closest friends. Hell, he even thought of Kevin as one of his best friends. Double D knew that this may be some sort of a misunderstanding but he just can't think of any possible reason as to why Kevin would dance with Marie when he just asked for his help. He then looked at Marie and with a disappointed tone he said

"and by the way, I never said all of those things. It was all made up by Eddy." He says as he was still clearly bewildered with all of this.

"Eddy barricated my house. He wanted me to stop going to prom which would eventually lead to me to stop seeing you. He still doesn't approve of you. I for one think he's being rather foolish a-and..." Double D says as he bites his lower lip and tries to stop the tears from falling.

Unable to finish his sentences and also stopping his tears for much longer, he then turns his back and slowly walks away. Again, silence is seen in the halls of Peach Creek Jr. High.

Marie got a glimpse of how emotional Double D is and now the feeling of anger she had towards him was gone. She knows Eddy still hates her guts so it was clearly wrong of her to believe Eddy completely and also wrong of her to dance and flirt with Kevin.

Kevin on the other hand sighed, scratched his head, and smiled.

"Damn. What a dork. Anyway where were we?" Kevin said as he approached Marie once again and still trying to flirt with her. Marie reacted like how a kanker would've reacted. With a punch to Kevin's stomach. Obviously Kevin was agonized with pain as he grabs his stomach, layed down the floor and curved into a ball.

"What the actual fuck. What'd you do that for, blue?" Asks Kevin as he rolled on the floor.

"Are you serious right now, shovel chin?" Marie said in a disgusted tone. She then proceeds to walk away from Kevin but was immediately stopped by him. Kevin grabbed Marie's ankle before she got away from him.

"Look, I can dump Nazz. You should dump the dork too and date me instead. You're too good for him." says Kevin with a little smirk on his face but still laying on the floor.

"Your friend just cried right in front of you from a misunderstanding that YOU made and you still have the balls to flirt with me and say all this bullshit? Fuck. You." says Marie. She then pulls her ankle making Kevin lose his grip on it. Before Kevin could stand and regain his posture, Marie was already gone. After 5 painful minutes he slowly got up and brushed off the dirt on his tux.

"Damn. What a waste. That dork isn't man enough to handle you, Marie. You'll see." says Kevin as he goes back to the dance floor to meet with the other cul-de-sac kids.

The song playing on the dance floor was Trumpets by Jason Derulo and every kid was dancing and having a blast. Meanwhile, Marie was already at the dance floor to try and find Double D. As she walks past the DJ's table she saw her eldest sister hanging out at the corner of the gym. Lee saw her blue haired sister straight away and saw Marie's distrubed expression.

"Yo blue. What's wrong? Did you and Double D make up already" Says Lee as she takes a sip of her iced tea.

"Have you seen my muffin, Lee? I need to clear things up." says Marie as she grabs Lee on her shoulders. The eldest Kanker noticed that she was shaking a little bit and she couldn't help but be curious to what happened at the hallway.

"Spill it, Marie. What the hell happened there? Give me all the details" She asks. Lee tried her best to get the gist of the situation and tried to calm Marie down a bit but she couldn't contain her anger herself towards Kevin after knowing the whole story. The overprotective big sister was enraged with how Kevin messed up Marie and Double D's night. It was suppose to be her sister's chance to show off.

"HE DID WHAT?!" Exclaimed Lee. "Isn't he Nazz' boyfriend? And why did you accept the fucking dance?! Didn't you say you liked Double D?!" Lee continued to yell at Marie to the point that Marie's guilt was built up again.

"I know. I know okay?! I fucked up" Says Marie as her eyes were filled with tears. "I fucked this up for us. I just need to know where he is. Please, Lee." She said. At this point Marie is feeling shitty and weak from what happened this night. This is certainly not the night she expected. Lee looked at her with understanding and she did what any big sister would do. She gave her the realtalk.

"Look, Marie, Once you find Double D just tell him what you really feel. No bullshit. No hidden agendas. No fucking nothing." Says Lee as she hugs her sister tightly.

"And stop fucking crying, you witch. You're gonna ruin your make up." She says. Marie nodded and hugged her big sister back. She held back her tears and tried to act strong. It was at this moment that Marie knew her eldest sister always got her back.

"Thanks, Lee. I needed this" Marie says as she lets go of her sister

"No problem. Now make this night a night to remember, you bitch." Says Lee as she laughs at her sister. Marie smiled and is now full of hope. She then ran outside their school to try and find his boyfriend. She looked everywhere. Peach Creek jr High's outdoor field, Double D's house, and even the trailer park but no dice.

"Fuck. Where the hell are you. If I were him where would I be?" She muttered to herself.

It's been 30 minutes since Marie started searching but so far she hasn't had any luck finding him. It was at this point that she almost had given up but then it hit her. Marie remembered that Double D always goes to the park whenever he needs a bit of thinking. Without any hesitation, Marie ran as fast as she can to the park hoping that she'd find her boyfriend there and luckily there he is, being lighted by the lamp post and sitting at the bench. Her face was covered with sweat from running around Peach Creek and unfortunately it had ruined her make up. Her hair is a bit messed up and to top it off she's out of breathe. She then approached Double D. She gentlly tapped him at the shoulder with her shaking hand. She's anxious as to what he's going to say when he sees her. Double D turns around and was surprised that Marie found him.

"M-Marie? What're you doing here? How did you find out I was here?" Double D says.

"Hiya, Muffin. *sniff* " Said Marie as she tears up.

Eyyy chapter 9 is done. I don't know if this will be enough. I think this chapter is lacking some elements but yeah. I'll update as soon as possible! I apologize for the wait and I sure hope you enjoy this one!
