Kiki's phone alarm rang with her favorite song's notes filling the air. Today was the morning! She was gonna be on the news as a guest to discuss everything that had happen this past week and a half. She was so happy that she greeted her companion "Good morning!" as she got up out of bed!

She went in the shower, did her hair carefully into a neat ponytail, picked out a really cute outfit, and went to the the breakfast bar in her kitchen to eat breakfast. She plopper the little guy on a bar stool next to him and patted him as she sat down, smiled, and had her breakfast. Next, she got a cute bag out and placed him in it and put her socks and shoes on, making sure to lock the door when she left her apartment. She took the elevator as she usually did and got a coffee from the coffee bar and was on her way. She had already got directions to the place, so she got into her car and drove there. She even placed little Wheats in the passenger seat so he could see everything. They soon got to the place. Kiki exited the car and locked her door with her key fob. She was in disbelief for a minute. This was the place!

"Hello!" A man greeted her. His name was Jerry, and he was going to show her the room she had to go into for the show, but she had to wait nearby and wait for her cue. Jerry was a short guy with red hair, glasses, and a red- and white-striped shirt. He seemed very enthusiastic. After Anthony was done doing the weather report, the news anchors said, "Thanks, Anthony! Now, for a top story today, a young woman named Kiki Freeman found a little core named Wheatley and we will be talking to her. Here she is!"

Kiki smiled to give a good impression and said "Hello! It's a pleasure to be on TV today!"

"Well, hello!" Ellie said, motioning to an empty chair for Kiki to sit down in. Nearby was Jerry, who was smiling widely.

"Can you tell us what happened that night?" Jerry asked.

"Well, you see, I was walking home from my job as a radio DJ, when I sat down to look at the stars. I noticed the blue one which I always saw looked as if it would fall, but soon I heard what sounded like... a man screaming! I paced and looked for whoever it was, but nobody was hurt or anything. I was startled when something hit my head and I looked down to see who it was. This little robot, or what you would call a core, was right there. I soon found out his past and everything. His name is Wheatley."

"Wow! That is interesting!" Ellie exclaimed. "Do you happen to have brought this Wheatley with you."

"Yup!"

Ellie and Jerry were astonished when Kiki showed her companion on live TV. He too was excited to talk.

"So, you must be her friend, I presume?" Jerry asked nicely.

"Yup! It all happened when I was up in space. I, uhhh, got into an asteroid belt, and, uhhhh, the asteroid got me! Knocked me out of orbit! Fell to earth! And that's how I met her. She fixed me up, good as new!"

"Wow! You seem to be an interesting little guy! Well, thank you, Kiki and Wheatley, for stopping by today. We normally do not do this, but we have decided to compensate you for your time!"

Kiki left the studio with her companion, feeling so proud of herself deep inside. She and her friend came back home soon.

Later, at the news studio, Ellie and Jerry got permission to get a news team into Aperture Science for an interview with REEaH, GLaDOS, and Dunstan.

Ellie announced, "Well, if you thought Kiki's story was interesting enough, we're here with more people involved in the series of events. Meet REEaH, GLaDOS, and Dunstan! Kiki supposedly went here when Wheatley was stolen from her last week!"

"Hello!" The three of them said from the chamber.

"Hey there!" Jerry said.

"We're just chilling here. I'm Dunstan! I'm a huge fan and I came down here to stay with them. REEaH and GLaDOS are the best couple EVER!" He said with enthusiasm.

Ellie let out an "Awwwwww" as she saw them all. REEaH blushed from Dunsey's comment.

They talked for a while and then Jerry and Ellie wished them a good day. That was fun.

Kiki was having a good day with Wheatley. She felt happy to be around him, but she noticed the more she spent time with him, the more she realized how much she related to him. She became fast friends with him, but she realized she might be in love with him. She wondered how he would react. She wanted to confess her feelings for him. As she lay on her bed with him while she was on her laptop, she began to talk.

"You know, this might be a surprise to you, but there is something I really need to tell you."

"Uhhhh, what is it?"

"I've realized I've been... developing... feelings for you. I love you. You are the cutest thing to ever exist and you are way better than some other people I tried to start a relationship with. You are just so relatable and we are so similar."

Although he was a little confused at first, she did explain to him, and he started to agree that he might have feelings for her too. Years ago, people always made fun of him and nobody wanted to be his friend, let alone fall in love with him romantically!

Kiki then kissed him right on the side. This felt so good. She didn't care if anyone would make fun of her if she found out. She loved him and she would always love him. Besides, she would put anyone who tried to make fun of her in their place.

"I-I... uhhhh... I love you too!"

She hugged him so tightly. This was the best day of her life. She found someone she could love and he could love her back.
