(3rd person P.O.V of Edward)

Edward opened his eyes and sat up violently, breathing heavily. He looked around and noticed it was still night. His room being illuminated by a single lantern that burned with a bright green flame called, 'Greek Fire'. Edward grabbed the lantern and scrambled over to the mirror in his room. He looked perfectly fine. Other than the fear and confusion that were clearly visible in his eyes. He put a hand over his lips and shut his eyes. He started to get his breathing back under control. He looked at himself in the mirror. He could almost see his doppelgänger from his nightmare. With the dark swirls over his face. He shuddered and put the lantern back on the nightstand as he sat back down on his bed.

"I don't see how I can go back to sleep after that," Edward said to himself. "That was... truly disturbing."

Edward looked down at himself, he was back to wearing pajama pants and a tank-top. That dream was the worst one he's ever had in his life. He held his head and sighed as he heard a knock on the door.

"It's open." He said just loud enough for the person to hear.

Edward looked up as the door slowly opened. It was Alithia.

"Alithia? What are you doing up so late?" Edward asked.

"I had a nightmare." She said quietly. "And I didn't want to wake Alex up."

Alithia walked over to Edward's bed. She had a messy bed-head and was wearing pajamas that had all the Olympians on it, who looked like cartoon characters.

"And when I got to your door," She continued. "I heard you making noise and talking. Did you also have a nightmare?"

Edward sighed and nodded. "Yes. I did. It was very bad. And very scary, even for me."

"Oh.. well..do you think I could sleep in here with you?" She asked.

Edward smiled some. He scooted over and patted the spot next to him. Alithia smiled and jumped up onto his bed and layed down, with her back facing him.

"...Edward?.." Alithia said quietly.

"Yes, Alithia?" He said, laying back down.

"Can you tell me about my dad?" She asked.

"Well. I haven't met him like some of the others, but," He said, looking over at her. "I, at least know that your father, Apollo, is the God of the Sun."

"He makes the sunlight?" She said.

"No, but he rides the Sun Chariot, bringing the Sun out into the sky everyday." He told her. "And he's also the God of Archery and the God of Music."

"Really?" She smiled.

"Yeah. He's a really talented God. You should be happy to have a father like him." Edward said.

She flipped over and looked at him.

"Who's your dad?" She asked.

"I don't know. I'm not gonna know until we get to Camp Half-Blood." He told her.

Edward noticed that she just nodded slowly and kept still. He looked down at her. She fell asleep. Edward smiled down at her and closed his eyes, eventually falling asleep himself as Alithia gently cuddled against him.

When he opened his eyes, he wasn't in his bed again. But he wasn't in the field of grass from his nightmare either. He was standing on a sidewalk. He looked around. In the distance he saw a hill that had huge letters that said, 'Hollywood'. As in Hollywood, California. He looked over and saw the World's most fierce looking limousine driver. He had scars all of his face, short black hair that looked like it was cut with a butcher's knife. He wore an outfit similar to Edward's usual clothes. Combat boots, black jeans, a leather duster, a red muscle shirt, and a bulletproof vest. He also wore wraparound sunglasses. Edward noticed a light coming from the other side of the glasses, like his eyes were lit up. The guy was a bit taller than Edward. Maybe 6'4, 6'5.

"Who are you?" Edward growled.

Edward didn't know why he felt angry. There was just something about the guy that really pissed him off. The guy smirked and chuckled.

"Relax, Edward." The guy said. "This isn't another nightmare, promise."

"That doesn't answer my question." Edward said.

The guy walked over to him. Every step made Edward feel more angry.

"I would think you'd know your own family when you see them." He said.

"What? What do you mean?" Edward asked.

The guy smirked. "I'm your Great-Grandfather."

Edward's eyes widened. "What?!"

The guy took his glasses off. He didn't have eyes. Instead of normal eyeballs, this guy literally had fire in his eyes. Two pure, blood red flames filled his eye sockets.

"Y-You're Ares, aren't you?" Edward said. "The God of War."

Ares bellowed a rather infectious laugh and grinned at Edward. "Smart kid. Most of the time I'd have to slowly explain it to you Demigods. But I guess my appearance gave it away. What? Too intimidating?"

"And you're my Great-Grandfather?" Edward continued.

"Also correct." Ares nodded. "You know how you've been able to go up against skilled fighters like Percy Jackson, Reyna, and even that dog Lycaon? That's because you got some of me in your blood."

Edward looked at him. "Well... Uh... Great-Grandfather...? Ares, I'll just say Ares. Is there a reason you have me here? I assume it's something more than just telling me you're my Great-Grandfather."

Ares looked at him and sighed. He turned around and walked over to the limousine, putting a hand on the side of it.

"Yeah, there was another reason I brought you here." He said.

"What?"

Ares looked back at him. "You might be new to this whole 'Demigod' thing. But, you have a very important role to play in what's to come in the future."

Edward, confused, walked up next to Ares and looked at him.

"What are you talking about?" Edward said. "What's coming in the future?"

Ares rolled his fireball eyes and growled. "I can't tell you everything! Plus I don't even know what's going to happen completely."

Ares looked back at Edward. His fireball eyes glowing with violence and destruction.

"I can really only tell you two things." Ares said. "One, the future is bad. Even us Gods are worried about it. And two, one day, you're gonna need my help, if you're gonna play your role."

"Why don't you just help me now?" Edward asked.

"That's not how it works Edward." Ares told him. "You'll know when that day is when it comes."

Edward was gonna ask another question, when the door of the building they were in front of opened. Out walked the most beautiful woman Edward had ever seen. Edward didn't need any help in figuring out that she was Piper's mother, Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love. She was gorgeous. Her entire appearance kept changing, and every change was just as perfect as the last.

Ares looked at him. "Looks Like our time is up, Edward. It was nice to finally talk to you."

Edward looked at Ares.

"Oh." Ares said. "By the way, kid. You know Nike, right? Goddess of Victory? She's your Grandmother."

"Wait, What?!" Edward said, his eyes widened. "You can't just drop that on me and make me leave!"

"Well, I am." He laughed. "That's why you're so damn stubborn when it comes to fighting!"

And with that, Ares tapped Edward on the forehead and woke him up.

Edward sat up in his bed and looked around. Alithia was gone, probably to breakfast. And sunlight shined through his window. Edward sighed as he got up and got dressed. Thanks to his nightmare and Ares, Edward felt like he got basically no sleep what's so ever. He dragged himself out of his room and to the dining room, where Leo was handing out breakfast. Fun fact about Leo, he was an exceptional cook. Edward walked over and sat in between Piper and Alithia. He yawned and put his face in his hands. He felt Piper put a hand on his arm gently.

"Did you get any sleep, Edward?" She asked softly.

"Does it look like it?" Edward groaned.

Leo handed him a plate of bacon and pancakes. Edward grabbed his glass and, he assumed a Wind Spirit, filled it with one of his favorite drinks. A 'Vanilla Mint Milkshake'. He always loved drinking some on Saint Patrick's Day. He still felt tired, but it did help him some.

"Let's just say, last night wasn't very fun," Edward said. "I had this... uafásach (terrible) nightmare. Really disturbing."

Jason looked up at him as Edward started to eat his breakfast. "What happened?" He asked. "It's normal for Demigods to have nightmares, but sometimes there's something important."

Edward looked down at his drink. He didn't really want to remember that dream. Seeing Octavian again. Seeing everyone with those horrifying spirals that replaced their eyes & mouth. His mother... Grover must've sensed how he was feeling. The Satyr stopped eating his silverware and he stood up and walked over to Edward, giving him a light hug. Grover was always good of sensing when Edward was upset about something. Edward gently pushed him off and sighed.

"It's hard to describe it," Edward said. "I was in a field of grass. It was all dark and stormy. I saw Lycaon and Octavian. But, they had these dark, inward swirls instead of eyes and a mouth."

Leo coughed up his food and looked at him. "Wait, What?? Dark swirls? Instead of eyes or a mouth?"

Edward nodded, "Yeah. They said stuff like, 'the path I walk is futile', that I was gonna die, and that I'm gonna fail to protect the people I care about."

Piper put her hand on his arm gently. "Was there anything else?" She asked softly.

"Yeah," Edward said, hesitating. "... You guys showed up, looking like Octavian & Lycaon, with the dark swirls. And the voice said that even the Gods feared the power he has."

Jason frowned. "Power that even the Gods fear?"

"I just thought of Typhon," Grover said, shuddering as he said the name. "But he was defeated and sent down to Tartarus."

"Was there anything else?" Jason asked, looking at Edward.

"Nothing really," Edward said. "Nothing that would help us figure it out."

Edward heard the intercom turn on. And, of course, instead of an actual person talking. It was Festus on the intercom, making a series of squeaks and whirring sounds. Just senseless noise to Edward. But, apparently to someone like Leo, that was actually an intelligible sentence. Leo stood up and stretched.

"Festus said we're just about 15 minutes away from Camp." He said. "Grab all your stuff and prepare to get off."

Edward walked up on to the deck as the ship descended into the Camp. Edward had his weapons and his sword sheathe with his sword's broken pieces. Edward went over to the others and looked out over the Camp. It looked like a rural version of Camp Jupiter. There was a large field of strawberries, a big amphitheater, and... tennis courts? Not really something Edward was expecting, but whatever. There was also a monstrous climbing wall, an open-air mess hall, and a multitude of different cabins that made a giant misshapen 'U'. The ship landed and Leo threw down the ladder that stiffened as soon as it hit the ground. The others climbed down first, then Edward started down, being followed by Alex & Alithia. Edward got to the ground and helped the kids down. He turned and saw the crowd that were surrounding them. Fortunately, it was other Demigods & Satyr's, not monsters. The others were busy greeting other Demigods while Edward and the kids stood there kinda awkwardly. The crowd parted and a Centaur trotted up to them.

"Chiron, these three are our new Demigods." Grover said. "The small two are Alexander & Alithia Miller, children of Apollo."

The two kids walked over to Chiron and looked up at him. The Centaur looked down at the two and smiled.

"Why do you have a horse body?" Alithia asked.

Chiron chuckled. "I was born this way, Little Alithia." His voice was powerful & deep. "I am a Centaur. I am half-man, half-horse."

The kids just stared at him in awe, which made him smile. Chiron looked up at Edward. His eyes shined with age & intelligence.

"And who's this, Mr. Underwood?" Chiron asked.

Grover smiled. "This is Edward Moore. We still don't know who his father is. But we can at least say it's one of the Male Gods."

Edward stepped up to Chiron and looked him over. He towered over Edward, which was saying something. He was probably around 6'10. 8 inches taller than Edward. He had a thinning brown hair, bushy eyebrows, brown eyes, and a scraggly beard. His lower half was the body was that of a white stallion with pure white hair. Like fresh snow. Edward assumed that he was the same Chiron who had trained all of the great Ancient Greek Heroes, Like Achilles & Perseus. Edward looked up at Chiron and smiled, holding out his hand.

"It's an honor to meet you, Chiron." Edward said.

Chiron smiles back and grabbed his hand firmly. "Pleasure's all mine, Mr. Moore. Hopefully you'll be claimed during dinner."

Chiron let go and turned towards everyone else.

"Alright everyone!" He said. "Back to your activities, go on!"

The crowd dispersed, murmuring, and Chiron trotted off. Edward looked back at Grover.

"What does being, 'claimed', mean?" He asked.

"Basically your Godly parent acknowledging to everyone that you're their child." Grover told him.

Edward nodded as he looked over and saw Leo walking to him with a muscular girl who Edward assumed was one of Leo's siblings since she was wearing a blacksmithing apron.

"Edward, this is my sister, Nyssa Barrera." Leo said.

"Leo told me that you have a sword you want us to repair." She said.

He took his sword sheathe off and handed it to her. She grabbed the hilt and pulled out the broken blade and looked at it.

"Well, we should be able to fix it." She said, putting the sword back in the sheathe.

Edward smiled. "Thank you, Nyssa."

She simply nodded to him and walked back over to the forge with Leo. Edward looked back at Grover.

"So, What now?" He asked.

"I'll show you around Camp untill dinner." Grover said.

"Is there enough time?" Edward wondered.

"Yeah, should be just enough time to look around." Grover smiled.

Edward smiled and the two walked off.

Grover showed Edward everywhere. The strawberry fields, The Big House, The cabins, everywhere. Edward stood by what he said earlier about it looking like a more rural Camp Jupiter. Edward was kinda disappointed when he noticed that Camp Half-Blood had regular showers instead of a Bath House like at Camp Jupiter. He really enjoyed the Bath House, it was really relaxing.

After awhile, a horn blew in the distance for dinner. Grover led Edward down to the open-air mess hall. Campers from all the cabins were getting into their designated tables. The only cabin that wasn't present were the kids of Hypnos. Grover said that they were probably just sleeping. Grover led Edward to the front table, where Chiron, who had compressed his horse-half into a wheelchair was sitting. Edward sat at the table and looked around. Jason was alone at a pure white table. Leo was at a table that looked like it was about to reveal itself to be a Transformer. Piper was with a bunch of people who were eyeing themselves in their own mirrors. And the two kids were at a bright yellow table, laughing with their new siblings, which made Edward smile. It was nice to see them two so happy. Edward looked at his plate. He was pretty hungry. He kinda had the craving for a nice steak. Then, boom, a delicious-looking 12 ounce steak appeared. He looked at his drink and a dark liquid filled the glass. He picked it up and took a sip of it. It was Coca-Cola. A very popular soda in Ireland.

Edward noticed everyone standing up. He looked back at Grover.

"Uh... Grover? What's happening?" He asked quietly.

"Before we eat, everyone goes up to the brazier and they make an offering to the Gods." Grover explained.

Edward nodded slowly. He cut some of his steak and stood. Everyone went over to the brazier and one by one, everyone put some of their food into the fire. Eventually, Edward finally got up to the brazier. He looked down into fire.

Whoever you are father, He thought. I hope you like steak.

Edward picked up his knife and scraped some of the steak into the fire. He was expecting the smell of the steak burning. But, instead, it was like, freshly made muffins. Weird.

Edward went back and sat at the table and started to eat his food. The steak was exactly how Edward liked his steaks. He preferred well-done over the other types.

A little bit after he got done eating, Edward noticed Chiron lifting himself out of the wheelchair, his White Stallion half emerging from out of nowhere. Chiron trotted up on to the stage in front of everyone and he stomped his hooves. Everyone stopped eating and looked up at the Centaur.

"I hope everyone has enjoyed their dinner." His voice boomed. "But we're gonna have get this going, since we have some new Campers!"

Edward sighed. It was gonna be just like how it was over at Camp Jupiter. Extremely awkward. Grover pushed Edward some.

"Alright! I'm going!" Edward whispered to Grover, pushing him back gently.

Edward looked over and saw one of the Apollo kids telling Alex & Alithia to go up. The two looked over and saw Edward standing and went to him. The three climbed up onto the stage and looked out. Alex & Alithia were wearing new sneakers, cargo shorts, and a bright orange Camp Half-Blood tee. While Edward was still wearing his usual black attire. The twins were kinda shy, which was a bit obvious because they were more or less, trying to hide behind Edward.

"First, the twins." Chiron said.

Edward looked down at them. They didn't look like they wanted to speak out loud. They were too shy. Edward guessed it was up to him. He sighed.

"I'm sorry," he said, seeing some of the Campers getting a confused look on their face. "These two are a bit shy."

Edward patted the two on the head and continued, "These two's names are Alexander & Alithia Miller. Their father is Ap-"

Everyone gasped as a light shined brightly off the twins. Edward moved them in front of him and he looked down at the two. Their eyes, that were normally sky blue, now burned gold. Like two miniature suns replaced their eyes. It only lasted a couple seconds, then it went away. Edward looked up and saw what everyone was looking at originally. A small sun blazed above them, with a image of a lyre.

"Hail," Chiron said. "Alexander & Alithia Miller. The twins of Apollo."

Chiron and the other bowed respectfully to the twins, then they looked up at him.

"Your turn." Chiron said to him.

Edward hesitated, not knowing how to feel after what he saw with the twins. "Uh... My name is Edward Moore."

Edward said his name. But nothing shined above him. No light came from his eyes. Nothing.

"Hm... I guess you're father prefer's a more dramatic reveal." Chiron said. "Worry not, Edward. Your father will reveal himself soon enough."

Edward sighed and walked back down to his table with the twins. He sat down next to Grover, who patted him on the back gently.

"It's ok, Edward." Grover assured him. "Your father will claim you soon."

Edward just gently shrugged Grover's hand off. He looked up at Chiron, who was now standing in the middle of the stage.

"Now then," He said. "If you all are done eating, go off and prepare to play Capture the Flag!"

Most of the Campers cheered and rushed out. Edward looked back at Grover.

"Really? Capture the Flag?" Edward said.

Grover nodded and smiled. "Yep. Don't worry, you'll like it!"

Edward was wearing bronze, Ancient Greek Armor, that was actually, more comfortable than what Edward thought it was gonna be. Edward also wore a bronze helmet which had a blue plume going down the middle of it. He was walking through the woods that were next to the Camp, following a guy named, Will Solace. He was the Head Counselor of the Apollo cabin. So, he was one of Alex & Alithia's new brothers. Will led Edward between the trees. Edward moved by one and he looked up. There was a small, clear, shallow river that snakes along the ground. And in front of that stood a pole with a blue flag on it. It was probably about, 7 feet long.

"You're gonna be guarding the flag." Will said, looking back at Edward.

"Uh... by myself?" Edward asked.

Will nodded. "I'm confident in your abilities. If what I've heard from Jason and the others is true that is."

Edward felt hesitant. He didn't know who was on the other team. Or what they're capable of. Apparently, Edward's inner thoughts were clear to Will.

"Don't worry Edward. You're job is more to distract whoever comes, rather than just guarding the flag." Will said, which didn't really make Edward feel any better.

And before Edward could ask something else, Will ran into the woods and a horn blew. Edward sighed. The last time he played a Camp Game, he got both of arms cut. Hopefully, he'd actually be able to actually take on whoever it is that comes to him.

Then, as if on cue, the bushes on the other side of the river rustled. Edward looked over and withdrew his new celestial bronze sword from the sheathe. He heard some snickers as 5 figures emerged. The most intimidating of them was the big, bulky girl in the middle of the group, who was standing at eye level with Edward. They were on the opposite team. Made obvious by the fact that instead of a blue plume. They wore helmets with a red plume sprouting out.

"Well," The Girl growled in a chuckle. "New blood."

They were wearing armor with a red, lackadaisically drawn boar head on the front. A symbol of Ares. So, it's safe to assume that they were efficient with their weapons. The girl in the middle had a sword; but, she was brandishing a spear almost as tall as she was. She looked indifferently at Edward.

"So," Edward said. "Are you gonna fight me? Or what?"

She snickered. "Me? No. You're not worth my effort. Billy, get 'em."

The first guy to her right stepped. He had shaggy, brown hair that hung down in his eyes. His eyes were brown and beady. Edward felt a bit awkward being stared down by this guy. Billy yelled and charged Edward. He brought his sword down on Edward in the most predictable way, so Edward was able to block it. Billy looked young, so, he must be inexperienced when it came to fighting. Edward was also inexperienced, but he's probably been in more real fights already than him.

Edward grabbed the wrist of Billy's sword hand, and he pulled on it, knocking the sword out of his hand. He kneed Billy in the stomach and pushed him into the river.

The girl looked down at him. "Are you serious, Billy?!"

Billy sat up slowly. "I'm sorry, Clarisse.."

The big girl, Clarisse, rolled her eyes and looked over at the first guy to her left. "John, get this guy."

John walked up. He looked about Edward's age. He didn't look like the others. He looked like he actually cared about his personal hygiene. He had a buzz-cut hairstyle, and dark brown eyes. Overall, he just looked clean.

John looked up at Edward. "You're new. I have experience over you. So, I'll give you a chance to back down."

Edward chuckled. "Thanks, But, I've already been in my fair share of battles to the death. So, I'll take my chances."

John smiled some and readied his sword. Edward lunged at John and their swords clashed, water splashing up into the air. Billy had already gotten out of the water, so Edward didn't have to worry about him. The two slashed, parried, & side-stepped each other, they were fighting a stalemate. Edward knew he could easily win if he decided to use his Blessing; but, he wanted to keep that in his back pocket as a last resort strategy. He was sure he'd have to fight that big girl, Clarisse, at some point. And Edward has a feeling that she was the strongest of all the Ares Cabin. John must've noticed Edward's mind had drifted away from the fight. John tried a slash, and Edward just barely managed to jump away from him before his sword connected. He went into a kneeling position in the water.

"Better keep your focus on the fight," John said, waving his sword. "If not, I'll end the fight."

Edward chuckled and rose to his feet. "Well then," He said, looking over at John. "I guess it's about time I started to fight seriously."

Flickers of Hellfire danced across Edward fingertips. He rose his hand up and a torrent of black flames shot out, rocketing towards John, who managed to dodge it. Edward knew he was gonna dodge. No way John was gonna be stupid enough to take his Hellfire head on. Edward quickly lunged at John, grabbed his neck, and planted him down into the river. The river was really shallow. John's ear were barely in the water. Edward stood up straight and looked at the others.

"Anybody else?" He said.

Clarisse snickered. "Well, I guess I underestimated you, somewhat. Fine, you're fighting me now."

Clarisse gripped her spear and got into a battle ready stance. Then she appeared in front of Edward and started her assault on him. Edward managed to dodge her. Her speed was incredible. It reminded Edward of Lycaon's speed. That was the only reason Edward wasn't a Demigod Kebab yet. He had already battled someone with roughly the same speed. She faked Edward out with a jab and she turned and kicked him with her long legs. Edward flew out of the water; fortunately, he managed a roll and popped back into his feet. He held his chest and looked over at Clarisse. It felt like someone just slammed a 30-pound brick into his chest. Fast & really strong. Just like Lycaon. Clarisse tapped a watch she had on her wrist and a big shield sprung out. The shield was made of celestial bronze, with a nicely done boar image on it.

"Good luck using that fire." She said. "After I had the Hephaestus kids make me this shield, I had the Hecate kids enchant it for me. The shield is incredibly resistant to fire. Greek Fire can melt it, but, it'd take a long time."

Edward just smiled. "Well then. It's a good thing I don't use Greek Fire."

Edward rose his hand up and blasted the shield with his Hellfire. He noticed that for a moment, Clarisse was smirking. The smirk didn't last long when she realized that his fire was burning through her shield fast. Her eyes widened and she threw it down in the water, where the shield continued to burn.

"You'll pay for that!" She yelled.

She appeared in front of Edward and jabbed at him. Edward caught the spear, as the familiar purple steam curled off Edward's skin. Edward pushed the end of the spear in Clarisse's stomach and pushed her back. Clarisse looked up at him and hesitated.

"You can use a Blessing?" She said. "Hm. That makes things a bit more difficult."

"Now what are you gonna do?" Edward wondered.

Clarisse's smirk came back. Red steam started to curl off his skin.

"You think you're the only Demigod who could use Blessings?" She snarked. "This is the Blessing from my father, Ares!"

She planted her spear into the ground, pulled out her sword, and rushed Edward. She was moving even faster than Lycaon did. But, luckily, Edward had his Blessing too. So, he was able to block her attack and fight against her.

(P.O.V switch to Chiron)

Chiron looked down at the fight, as Edward's & Clarisse's swords clashed together again. Grover walked up next to him and looked at the fight.

"T-They're sure going pretty hard, Chiron." Grover stammered.

"Indeed. Both of them decided to use their own Godly Blessings." Chiron said.

"Are you sure this is the best way Edward is gonna get claimed?" Grover asked.

"Of course," Chiron smiles. "You should know how dramatic the Gods like to be, Mr. Underwood."

"If you say so, Sir." Grover said, looking back down at the fight.

Edward and Clarisse clashed swords again. Edward used his Hellfire and made Clarisse back up. But that didn't dissuade her from the fight. She just charged him again and the two started clashing once again.

"They seem to be evenly matched." Grover though aloud.

Chiron chuckled. "It would seem like that to some."

"Are they not?" Grover asked.

"Well, thanks to the Blessing being from Edward's Father, it makes Edward stronger & faster than Clarisse. But, normally, Clarisse is stronger & faster than him, and her Father's Blessing boosts her abilities, but not as much as Edward's Blessing." Chiron explained.

"Oh.." Grover said quietly.

"But, you must also remember that Clarisse's Father is Ares, God of War. And Ares's Godly Blessing comes with the ability to use that Berserker Rage Mode; Which increases her strength & speed even more." Chiron told him.

"And she still hasn't use it." Grover noticed.

"She has not." Chiron said. "And I'm curious to see what Edward does when she does use it."

(P.O.V switch back to Edward)

Edward knew all he had to do was to keep Clarisse's attention on him, and not the flag. He knocked Clarisse back into the water. Clarisse slowly got back up as Edward brandished his sword. She growled and glared back at Edward.

"Fine!" She growled. "No more playing nice!"

The steam coming off her body started to blaze with ferocity. Edward recoiled when it happened. It felt like a huge burst of wind shot off of her. Edward looked up to see her, but she wasn't there anymore. Edward eyes widened. She was behind him. He felt a sharp pain spread across his back as he rolled into the water. He turned quickly and popped up to his feet just in time for him to see Clarisse appear in front of him and slap him in the chest with the flat of her sword. Edward splashed down into the water. He held his back and brought his head up and looked at Clarisse.

"Come on, Edward." She snarked. "I'm not done with you yet."

Edward grunted and labored up to his feet. He looked down at the water and noticed some of it ran red with his blood. He was starting to wonder why his Blessing wasn't healing him, then he realized that he wasn't using his Blessing anymore. She literally hit him so hard, he stopped using his Blessing.

"Did you really think you'd be able to beat me?" Clarisse barked at him. "Please, you don't even know who your father is. You don't even know who you are!"

Edward growled and grunted. "C-Clúite suas! Tá a fhios agam go díreach cé hé!"

"What?" Clarisse asked.

Edward glared at her as his Blessing started to reappear around him. "I said, 'Shut up! I know exactly who I am!'."

Energy blazed, awakened, in Edward's eyes as he rushed Clarisse. He managed to get in close to her. Clarisse jumped and swung a big left-hook at him. He wrapped his arm around her's. He brought his knee up and planted it into her stomach. Edward dropped his sword and gripped Clarisse's neck, throwing her left arm over his right and lifting her high into the air. Edward spun to add momentum as he made her crash-land into the Earth. He stood up straight and looked down at her.

"I am Edward Moore!" He said as a purple light burned to life above him, and the words came to him. "And I am the Son of Hades!"

Edward looked above him and in the light was an image of a black, Ancient Greek helmet that was enveloped in neon green flames. The Helm of Darkness. A symbol for the Lord of the Underworld, Hades. So, his father was pretty much the Devil. Fun.

Edward looked back at Clarisse, who was pushing herself back on to her feet.

"I don't care who your Dad is!" She growled, looking at him. "You're dead!"

She lunged at him and their sword their swords crashed into each other. Sparks flew off their swords and the air grew full of intensity. Edward looked up at Clarisse. Her eyes brimming with violence & anger. Edward attempted to push her back, but she got under his sword and was close to cutting him. Edward barely managed to side-step the attack. If he had taken that strike, he was pretty sure there was a decent-sized chance that he would've died. Clarisse wasn't playing anymore. It was a real fight now.

Fortunately, Edward didn't have to fight Clarisse anymore. The horn blew and Will ran out from the trees, carrying the Red Team's Flag.

"The Blue Team Wins!" Everyone heard Chiron bellow across the woods.

Clarisse growled in frustration. She threw her sword down and stormed into the woods as others walked out. Chiron walked out and kneeled in front of Edward. Everyone else followed suite.

"Hail, Edward Moore." Chiron said. "Son of Hades."

Edward was just leaving as he heard Will call over to him. Edward looked over and saw Will walking up to him, dragging someone with him. The guy had black hair and pale skin, like Edward. He wasn't quite as tall as Edward though. He wore dark-colored clothes. He wore an aviator jacket which hung loosely on him. The guy looked as though he was starved, like he hadn't eaten anything in days. The guy looked up at Edward. He had dark brown eyes. Edward could sense immense sadness coming from the guy.

"Edward," Will said. "I have someone you need to meet."

Edward saw where this was heading. "I guess this is my new Half-Brother?"

The guy smiled some and chuckled lightly. "I told you he'd see it coming, Will."

Will crossed his arms. "Whatever."

"My name is Nico Di Angelo." He said.

Edward eyes widened when he said that. This was the guy that Lycaon and Vincent were talking about. Now Edward understood why they said that Edward & Nico looked alike. Nico is his Half-Brother!

"What?" Nico said.

"Uh, nothing." Edward said. "Just, things now make sense. No need to worry about it. My name is Edward Moore."

Nico just nodded like he understood what Edward meant. Edward was about to ask something until Will cut him off.

"Well anyway Edward. You cabin is over there." He said, pointing. "It's the Black Cabin with the Greek Fire Torches. Nico will be along in a bit."

Edward just looked at Nico, who also looked surprised. Edward smiled and chuckled.

"Well ok? See you tomorrow, Will." Edward said, stepping away slowly.

Edward walked over to the cabin Will pointed at. He looked back and saw Will dragging Nico somewhere. Weird. Nevertheless, Edward looked back at the cabin, climbed the steps, and walked inside. He looked around. The cabin was pretty spacious. Only two beds. One of them looked brand new, so, that one was probably Edward's. Both beds also had a nightstand. Edward walked over to Nico's bed. The bed itself was kinda messy, but that's not what Edward focused on. It was his nightstand. First thing that caught Edward's attention was a card that said, "Mythomagic", on it. On the other side of it was a drawing of the Minotaur. Nico also had a small figurine that resembled drawings Edward had seen of his father, Hades. Along with those two things, Nico had a couple pictures sprawled across the top of the table. One had Nico with Percy & Annabeth. One with, Edward realized his now Half-Sister, Hazel. One with Reyna, which brought some butterflies to Edward's stomach. Reyna was really beautiful. Edward managed to peel his eyes away and look at the two pictures that say in frames. One was Nico with Percy, Annabeth, Hazel, Frank, Jason, Leo, Piper, & Reyna; all on the Argo II. And the other was a picture of Nico and Will. Nico's cheeks were laced with red as Will hugged him. He guessed they must've had a pretty strong friendship. Nico doesn't really seem to be hug-loving person. But, for the most part, he seemed completely fine with Will hugging him like that. Edward smiled some and went over to his bed and looked in the dresser that stood behind it. Clothes, obviously, but they were clothes that could fit Edward. Orange Camp Half-Blood shirts, black tank-tops, etc. And, apparently, a full sized celestial bronze sword inside the drawer where his new boxers were. Makes sense.

Edward layed down in his new bed. He had put his weapons on the nightstand and had changed into a tank-top and pajama pants. He was about to fall asleep when noticed Nico materialize from the shadows in the corner. Edward sat up.

"Nico?? How did you do that?" Edward asked.

"I guess you wouldn't know inherently know how to Shadow-Travel." Nico said. "Don't worry, I'll teach you later."

Traveling through shadows? Edward kinda wished he had learned the truth about his father sooner now.

Nico changed into similar pajamas and got into his bed.

"Hey Nico." Edward called over, quietly.

"Yeah?" Nico responded.

"Don't take this the wrong way, I was just curious. You and Will. Are you two...?" Edward asked, awkwardly.

Nico nodded. "Yeah. Will's my boyfriend."

"Oh." Edward said, feeling really awkward now.

"Problem?" Nico asked.

Edward shook his head quickly. "No! Of course not! Just wasn't really expecting it. Plus, I haven't really been around homosexual people in my life. I was raised in Ireland, which is a pretty religious country. Most of the people are some kind of Christian."

"Well, Yes. I'm gay, and Will's my boyfriend." Nico told him.

Edward nodded. He was happy for Nico for being able to be so open about his personal stuff.

"Nico?" Edward called.

"Yeah, Edward?" Nico said.

"Have... Have you actually met our father?" Edward asked.

"Hades? Yeah. Why?" Nico wondered.

"What's he like?" Edward felt weird asking that question.

He felt like he was Alex & Alithia asking him about their father, Apollo.

"Well. None of the Olympians are really star parents. But, they do actually care about us. Even Hades. He isn't the best at showing his emotions, because he's a God. Especially because he's the Lord of the Underworld." Nico said. "But, he is a caring parent."

Edward nodded and smiled some. He was gonna ask Nico another question, until he looked over and saw that he had fallen asleep. Edward layed back in his bed and looked outside, through the window next to his bed. His life has changed so much in a very short amount of time. Just last week he was a normal 18 year old British guy, living in Ireland. Now he was an 18 year old British guy who had to leave his home and move to New York in America because he found his father is an Ancient Greek God. Not really the reason Edward was expecting for going to America for the first time. Now he has a new Half-Brother & Half-Sister in Nico & Hazel. So, overall. Edward was happy. Edward started to think about his mother. And that nightmare he had came back to him. He shuddered. He didn't want to remember that nightmare. He promised his mother that he'd come visit her. And Edward was gonna keep that promise. Sooner or later, he'd go back to Ireland.

Edward pushed that thought aside and closes his eyes. He smiled a little as he fell asleep for the first time at Camp Half-Blood.
