Hello everyone. Been a while. We decided to continue this story. We will try to update more often. Darkangel338 and I hope you can forgive us for the disappearance. Life kinda got in the way. But we have always had an idea of where this story is going to go. It will not fully follow the movie universe past the first Avengers movie. If your still reading this, let us know! Tai was lounging on a couch near the balcony watching Loki. She grabs one of the two coffee cups in front of her and says "so what are you doing again besides pacing?"
Loke replies "I am NOT pacing. I am waiting for beginning of the end of your human world"
"Could you sound more dramatic? 'Beginning of the end' is such a cliche bad dude thing. But you keep pacing I guess, I'm gunna go find some clothes to borrow cause this gown is really going to be annoying to fight in"
"Sit down!" Loki yells. But Tai ignores him in favor of walking towards what she hopes is a bedroom. "You do not need to fight. You only need to sit there and be quiet" he says through clenched teeth as he follows her.
Still ignoring him Tai manages to find some female clothes in the numerous dawyers. She takes a tank top and jeans, laying them on the bed. Loki approaches to scold her before spinning on his heels when she begins to pull the gown over her head.
"Aww aren't you gentlemanly. Killing innocent people, doesn't bat an eye. Girl in her undies? Turns bright blue" She says as she pulls on the clothes.
"I am not BLUE! I have no idea what that means and I was merely raised to respect a female's modesty. Though it seems like you have no regard for such a thing"
She rolls her eyes " Bras and panties are basically Bikini pieces. In fact I think Ani has worn less material in a Bikini." She returns to the couch and downs the rest of her coffee. She gazes at the cup sadly before looking out the balcony. "Oh you have a visitor! TONY DID YOU BRING COFFEE?!" she yells at the end as she sees him land on the edge of what looks like a runway. Said runway comes to life and starts taking his suit off.
Tony and Loki glare at each other as Tony walks in.
"Please tell me that you are going to appeal to my humanity" Loki chuckles
"Ah actually I'm planning to threaten you" Tony says calmly
"Oh I wish I had popcorn" Tai sighs. Loki glares at her
"You should have left your armor on for that" Loki says to Tony
"Yea. Its got a bit of mileage on and you got the glow stick of destiny" Tony
Tai starts cracking up. Loki raises an eyebrow toward her. " He called it a glow stick!...Why didn't I think of that before" she laughs then pouts. Loki gave her an unamused look.
"Stalling won't change anything" Loki snaps at Tony.
'Loki keep up, he is threatening...and headed to the bar! Pour me some whiskey Tony please!" Tai says as she hops up to head over. Loki blocks her path.
"They are coming. Nothing will change that" He says and slowly advances toward Tony, keeping Tai's path blocked. "What have I to fear?"
"Ani" Tai says the same time Tony says "The Avengers."
Tony smirks at Tai and continues "Its what we call ourselves. Sort of like a team. Earth's mightiest heroes and everything."
"Yes, I've met them" Loki chuckles
"Takes us a while to get any traction. I'll give you that one. But let's do a head count here. Your brother the demigod. A super soldier who kinda lives up to the legend. A man with breathtaking anger management issues. A couple of master assassins and you big fella managed to piss off every single one of them."
"That was the plan," Loki says.
"That was a stupid plan. You haven't been evil very long have you" Tai laughs. Tony nods in agreement.
"When they come" Tony starts
"And they will come," Tai pipes in.
"They will come for you"
"I have an army"
"We have a hulk" Tony starts advancing to Loki
"I thought the beast had wandered off"
"Yea no. You have me. Hulk is with Ani. They are probably already here." Tai said, crossing her arms.
"You are missing the point. There is no throne. There is no version of this where you come out on top."
"He has got a point. Hell they named themselves Avengers. The name is a giveaway. You should stop and let's go to a movie!" Tai says with a smile.
Loki looks at her and steps closer to Tony. "How will your friends have time for me, if they are so busy fighting you?" He asks as he lifts the scepter to touch Tony's chest. Nothing Happens. He tries again.
"Performance issues. Not uncommon. One out of.." Tony starts to say before Loki grabs his throat and throws him toward the window.
"Loki stop" Tai says as she begins to advance.
"Jarvis anytime now" Tony says.
Loki grabs his throat again. "You will all fall before me"
"Loki don't!" Tai says before Loki throws Tony out the window. Tai goes to jump after him but Loki grabs her waist. "Let me go you asshole! I can still save him!" Suddenly Loki pulls her to the ground as a hunk of metal goes flying over their heads towards tony. Tai watches as it reaches him just in time. Turning to Loki she says "Will ruling a world that hates you actually make you happy? Ani has tried it. Ask her. It gets boring real fast."
She pushes herself away from him and goes to the bar. Just as Tony floats back to the window. "There is one more person you pissed off. Her name is Ani!" Suddenly Loki flies backwards from the force of the shot. Tony looks to Tai. "Go on." She says. "I'll keep an eye on him." Tony nods before flying off.
Tai pours two shots of whiskey. "Men never listen"
Ani and Bruce arrive in New York as aliens descend from a portal in the sky. Ani jumps off the motorcycle just as they stop. People are running and screaming, the rest of the team is fighting, and Ani is just standing still.
"So this all looks horrible." Bruces says as the other avengers join them. The team is talking around Ani as she is trying to think of where Loki would keep Tai.
The sound of Natasha saying "I don't see how that is a party," brings Ani back to the moment just in time to see a large flying alien following Tony towards them.
"That's my secret captain, I'm always angry." Bruce says as he turns into the Hulk just in time to smash the oncoming alien. Ani thinks he is being a little dramatic with that statement but does not have time to call him on it as the alien starts to fall towards them. Tony shoots at it as Ani jumps for the creature with claws and elongated teeth bared to tear it apart wherever she can reach.
After the creature is dealt with Ani has an idea of where Tai might be. "I'll be back, I am going to where a narcissist would be." Ani yells while sprinting to Stark Tower. She thinks she hears Steve yelling about having to protect the people but she does not give it much thought.
Her face twists in disgust as a group of four of the smaller aliens block her path. They take a threatening step towards her. "Are you morons or just suicidal?" she asks as her fingers transform into her claws again. One of the aliens jumps at her, but she easily knocks the weapon to the side. Grabbing it by the throat she lifts it and aims at another one. Hitting her mark they both go flying into the window of a nearby shop. The next two try to pounce at once, but she dodges by sliding between them. She jumps back to her feet and spins before driving her claws into one of their throats. The last alien snarls at her, raising the weapon once more.
Suddenly, it is crushed beneath another. Following the trajectory, Ani spots hulk hanging off the side of a building. He grunted in acknowledgement before jumping towards another group of hostiles. Ani relaxed her hands and continued on her sprint.
When she gets to the tower Ani briefly thinks about how to get to the top. After a second she decides climbing will make the best entrance. With that Ani proceeds to unsheath her claws and use them to scale the tower and break glass to get to the top.
When she gets there the first thing she sees is 2 cups of coffee from Crzy Cups. "You got coffee without me? And to think I came all this way to get you so we can still go to Germany." Ani says all of this while wiping her bloody hands onto her shirt.
"Please, like I would get some without grabbing you a cup." Tai says gesturing to the full one on the table. "Did you have to be so dramatic? There is an elevator you know."
With a smirk firmly in place, as if she did not just fight her way through a dozen aliens, she says, "But, where is the fun in that?" Just as the words leave her mouth a stray shot from an alien gun hits her in the shoulder and the force pushes her to the ground.
