Sydney and Dewey made it to the abandoned barn. They saw from the distance, someone dressed as Ghostface walking around. That was unfortunately a popular Halloween costume, there was no proof that guy was doing anything more illegal than tresspassing, possibly here with some willing romantic partner. Sydney covertly went to the barn, tried looking inside. Amy was indeed here, tied up, clearly drugged. Dewey approached Ghostface, ordered him to surrender at gunpoint. This man held his hands up in surrender, but didn't say a word. Dewey didn't seem to notice as a second Ghostface snuck up behind him, with a knife. But then there were gunshots, Sydney put five bullets into this second Ghostface. The first Ghostface screamed in terror. Not only was his friend dead, but he lost any chance of escaping arrest. Dewey unmasked this one, it was his own deputy Johnny. Sydney unmasked the dead one, it was deputy Hanson. Dewey was horrified, two of his own deputies had drugged and likely raped a 16 year old girl. As Sydney went inside to make sure Amy was okay she saw something else, skeletons, real ones. It was clear that Amy was not the first girl they raped, but she might be the first one who survived.
