YEAR 2 AUGUST, SLOW RECOVERY & FORGOTTEN MEMORIES…
PART 4
Tuesday Sep. 7th one month later in the Empire Comets
Medical Bay.
Shadow was once again in the Medical Bay checking in on Eris, ever since the run in with Princess Trinity in there a month ago, he had been in there guarding her every chance he got. There was a new nurse this time around after Shadow had his way with the last one because of Trinity stunt. As he was watching over Eris something catches his eye and he looks at the pods monitors. He taps a few buttons then runs over to the main control panels and shoves the nurse aside harshly as he pulls up Eris charts. Gasping out he turns to the nurse and yells at them in Black Arms.
"HURRY NOW! GO GET BLACK VOID! SHE'S WAKING UP!"
Without needing to be told again, they run out of the room to go find Black Void. As Shadow watches there comes a fast beeping as he looks over to her pod as it lights up. After a few moments, the pod hisses open allowing cold steam to fall out and to the floor. It covers the floor as if a cold damp fog had settled in. Once it was open Eris bolts up right and gaps out for air as she starts to crawl out of the side of her pod. Shadow rushes over to her just as she falls out and catches her, kneeling as she does.
Easy Princess.
So….so cold…
Eris says through chattering teeth as she holds onto whoever it was that had a hold of her. Quickly taking off his cape, Shadow drapes it over Eris naked body and wraps it around her as he takes hold of her trying to warm her up. As he was doing this Black Void comes in.
"SHADOW?! IS SHE?!
She just woke up my Lordship, but she's freezing.
Quickly take hold of her and follow me at once!
Right way."
Taking hold of Eris in the bridle style, he holds her close as she clings to him and the cape that was around her. She weakly looks up through bleary eyes and blinks a few times, softly calling out.
Sh-Sha...dow?…
Shadow looks down at hearing his name and she could see for a fleeting moment the old Shadow from five years ago. He speaks to her as she reaches up to cling to his shirt.
Hold on a bit longer Princess, will get you warm soon.
Sh-Shad...ow?….
Eris passes back out after that as Black Void and him make it to her room he had prepared for Eris when she came to see him. Unbeknownst, from around a dark corner Trinity had seen everything and a smile crossed her face as she hovered a foot off the floor.
Hmm… so she's finally awoken now hmm? Well it looks like things will be fun from here on out. I best go tell father of this news right away.
With that said she flies off to go tell her father. Meanwhile Black Void, Shadow, and a few Black Arms lower class females run in behind them after getting word from them, to help with Eris.
"QUICKLY! GET A HOT BATH GOING FOR HER NOW! WE NEED TO GET HER WARMED UP BEFORE SHE FREEZES TO DEATH!"
They hurry and start a bath right away for her as Shadow runs behind them. It doesn't take long to fill the oversized tub up as Shadow kicks his shoes off and gets in the tub while still holding Eris in his arms. He holds her close as the hot water washes over them as it soaks them both. He keeps his capes over her for the time being as he yells at the maids.
"LEAVE NOW! GO GET HER SOMETHING TO WEAR RIGHT AWAY!"
Nodding they run out of the bathroom and back into the bedroom. Black Void floats in to check on him and Eris.
"Shadow, is she?
She's fine my Lord. I can feel her starting to warm up now, so she should be fine. She just needs some rest right now, soon as those blasted maids come back to tend to her.
Yes… right, right… just as long as she's alright that's all that matters."
Black Void stays where he is at and watches on as Shadow holds onto Eris. After about 10 minutes Eris starts to come to as the maids come back with a nightgown for her to wear. They speak to Shadow in Black Arms and he nods at them. He starts to get out of the tub when he feels Eris grab a hold of him. He looks down at her for a moment at her.
D-don't go...please...Shadow….
He looks down at her then up at Black Void wondering what to do.
"Eris...Eris my beloved?
Gran...daddy? Grand...daddy Void? I-i-is that you?
Yes my sweet one.
W-w-whats going on?
My sweet one, you need to let Shadow go for a bit so the chambermaids can wash you up.
B-b-but..Sha...dow…
Do not worry, he won't go far I promise."
Void looks to Shadow and nods to him. Taking the hint he speaks to Eris.
He's right. I won't go far. But you need to let go so they can finish helping you.

Shadow didn't know what to do at that moment. He knew if it was just him and the maids he could yell at her, but with Black Void there with them he knew it wouldn't be a good idea. But yet, at the same time, he felt drawn to her and the need to stay with her and protect her. Her, someone he didn't know or remember. Heaving a heavy sigh he nods to Void.
"Are you sure Shadow?
Right now it's the only way. At least till we can get her to settle down enough and put her to bed. Unless you wish I do it the hard way and possibly traumatize her?
Good point. Very well I'll wait in her room till you're both done. Maids stay with them both and do as Shadow tells you to."
They answer and Void leaves the bathroom as they set to work. After about five minutes Shadow finally comes out of the bathroom dripping wet and in nothing more than a towel wraps around his lower half.
"Shadow?!
I finally got her to trust me enough so I could get out to go change. Has the maid I set to my room came back yet?"
Just as he asked that the maid he sent out for some dry clothing came back and she heads over to shadow handing him his dry clothing and heads back to help with Eris. After a few moments Shadow gets dressed and tosses the towel on the back of a chair to wait till Eris is finished. After 30 minutes the maids come out escorting Eris out of her bathroom. Shadow walks over and takes hold of her dismissing the maids and he picks her up once more in the bridle style position and takes her to her bed and lays her down on it covering her up. The moment her head hits the pillow she was out like a light.
"I had thought for sure she would sleep for another month.
As did I my Lordship. But what now? Now that she is awake I mean?
She will still need to recover. We only put her into a state of coma to help heal her internal wounds with your blood. But I guess giving her your blood every few days must have sped up the processes up faster than I thought. But nevertheless I wish to keep doing what we have been if that is alright with you?
It is my Lord. I am after all here to help you as your Black Knight, in any shape or form if it is not beyond my power. Even if it is to help the next Heir to the Black Arms Empire.
Right. Come now let's let her rest for now.
If it is alright with you Sir. I would like to stay and watch over her for a bit. I don't know why, but I feel even more drawn to her then ever before, and it...INTRIGUES ME.. if you would.

With that Black Void leaves as Shadow takes the cushion chair from her Vanity Table and sits on it as he watches over Eris as she rests.
MEANWHILE IN ANOTHER PART OF THE EMPIRE COMET…
Trinity was on a video call with her father Black Fog…
That's right daddy. She's woken up already. Sooner then Black Void had originally thought she would.
"Did you follow them to find out more?"
No I didn't. I thought it would be too risky, and I didn't want to deal with the question that would come with it, should I slip up.
"Smart thinking child. Keep me informed of anything new."
As you wish father. Till then I'll talk with you later. It seems I have a guest that needs my special care.
"But of course my dear. Enjoy your fun my child. But remember."
Yes, Yes I know, I know. But even if it was to happen he is the third royal line, just as powerful and strong as Shadow almost. So I don't know why I need to hook up with him.
"Because with Shadows power, strength and healing abilities we would be unstoppable, as would the next generation of Black Arms offspring. There would be no one who could oppose us should you and Shadow end up breeding with one another."
Very well father, I'll speak with you later.
Before Black Fog could say anything more she ends the call and looks over to Eclipse sighing.
This is just PATHETIC if you ask me?

"At least he nor Black Void has found out about our true plans for everything yet."
A dark figure floats in the shadow's of Trinity's room and comes into the light.
But are you sure this is a good idea father? I mean if Black Void finds out what's been going on?
"Yes I know my son. But it was Black Dooms idea from day one. He already had a feeling that Black Fog was up to something, when he retrieved Shadow five years ago was when things were set into motion, and we found out the truth."
So your saying only me, Trinity and Black Doom and you know what is truly going on?
"That is right Eclipse."
They were all silent for a time till Trinity stood up slamming her hands on her Vanity Table and screamed out annoyed causing Eclipse to rear back in surprise.
"Do not worry both of you, when that time is right this will all end. We just need to keep playing this little deadly game of cat and mouse for a bit longer. For the time being I will leave you two alone."
With that Black Oak vanishes leaving Eclipse and Trinity alone together. Trinity looks to the window at her room and out at space.
I just wish we could just bare our own offspring here and now Ecie, and be done with it all. I'm tired of living under the tyrannical rule of my father.

They stay as they are for a long time as he walks over to Trinity holding her as she holds onto him as they stare out the window as Mobius comes into view.
So what now Trinity? I mean it's your call after all.
We keep doing as we have been doing. Eris will go down as planned but in my own way.
Trinity what are you going to do?
Study her, watch her, get to know her strong and weak points. Then finish her when no one is looking.
But Trinity?!
She looks at him shaking her head as he looks back to watching the stars as a plane of her own forms in her head.
FOUR DAYS LATER…
Sep.11th 6am…
It had been four days since Eris had awoken from her forced coma so her body could heal, but shortly after she ended up falling into a deep sleep after Shadow and her grandfather got her to her room to get her into a hot bath and warm her up and washed up. Ever since then Shadow had been staying next to her side not once leaving it. For the past four days he had been trying to figure out why it was he was so drawn to her, why yet at the same time why it felt like he knew her as well when he had never met her before. This all confused him greatly. As he sat there watching her, Eris began to stir from her four day slumber. This startles Shadow as he looks to the maid and tells her to go get Black Void at once. She does as she is told as Eris slowly opens her eyes as she calls out to her father.
D-d-daddy?
Shadow looks at her slightly tilting his head wondering what he should do.
D-Daddy? D-d-daddy what's going on? Why do I hurt all over?
She tries to sit up but winces in pain and cries out. Shadow stands up and helps her lay back down speaking to her softly.
Easy Princess, you've been asleep for the last four days after being forced into a coma to heal from your injuries.
I-I-Injuries? What...injuries?
Do not remember?
N-n-no...W-W-who are you? Why is it so dark in here? Where am I!?
Eris starts to panic as she bolts up right trying to put everything into place. She grabs her blanket that's around her holding it close to her as she starts to yell.
WHAT IS GOING ON!? WHERE AM I!? WHO ARE YOU, AND WHY ARE YOU IN MY ROOM!? WHERES MY FATHER AT!? DADDY! DADDY WHERE ARE YOU!?
Eris gets out of bed fast and stands up looking around the room as she starts to run out of it but the moment she does a wave of dizziness hits her and she starts to stumble about. Shadow rushes over to her and catches her before she falls bringing her down to the floor where he kneels there with her in his arms.
I told you to take it EASY your Highness.
Eris leans into him as he holds her. She holds onto his right arm as she rests her head against his chest listening to his heart beat. Her eyes begin to get heavy once more as she takes a deep breath in as she says in a deep tired voice as she reaches up with her left hand to grab hold of his shirt clinging to it.
It's so soothing….and nice…
She yawns out as Shadow looks down at her.
What is Princess?
Your...heart beat…. It's...so...so...othing….
Before too long Eris had passed out once more, falling into a deep sleep yet again. Shadow gently picks her up and walks her back to her bed and places the covers over her just as Black Void comes in.
"Shadow I was told Eris had awoken?!
Yes, for a little bit anyway. But she ended up falling back asleep.
What happened?
She ended up getting scared and tried to make a run for it, but she ended up getting a dizzy spell and she fell. I caught her in time and she passed out just before you floated in here.
I see. At least for now she is alright. I'll have to Inform Maxwell soon of this. I do hope next time she won't be so delirious, and scared. It is the last thing I want for her.
Indeed. What shall I do my Lordship?
Keep watching over her and send the maid to find me if there are any more developments with Eris.
As you wish my Lordship."
What that Black Void leaves to go contact Maxwell and let him know what happened. As Eris door closes Shadow dismisses the maid for the time being and he takes his seat once more as she leaves. Once again Shadow watches over Eris closely as she rests.
8 hours later, 2pm Sep. 11th…..
Shadow had dozed off some and was partly out of it when he heard something. He opens his eyes and looks to Eris as she begins to wake once more. Unlike last time she takes her time waking up still fully out of it, keeping her eyes closed.
W-W-What's going on?
Princess are you awake?
I-I-I don't know yet...everything….still...so fuzzy...Who...a-are you? Can y-you tell me where… I am… I don't r-r-remember much… of anything…..
Shadow speaks in a calm quiet gentle tone to her so as not to scare her.
You're on the Empire Comet. You've been on here for over a month now, recovering.
R-R-Recovering, from...what? Ooh my head is killing me…. W-W-Where's my grandfather?
Would you like me to go get him for you?
P-P-Please.
Wait here and rest Princess, I'll go fetch him now.
Shadow leaves to go get Black Void leaving Eris alone. She lays in her bed for a bit till she finally and slowly sits up and opens her eyes. She sits there trying to figure out what that person meant by her recovering. Recovering from WHAT? Why was she up here to start with? She had so many questions running through her mind that they were making her head hurt. As she places a hand on her head, the door to her room hisses open and Shadow and her Grandfather come in.
"Eris?! Eris are you alright my dear?
I-I-I think so? But my head is killing me. What's going on grandfather? Why am I up on the Empire Comet for? What HAPPEN to me? That last thing I remember is….is….invoking the prayer of power and help...than nothing….
Just take it easy my sweet one. I promise you in time I will tell you everything, but for now you need to rest more. You're still very weak and you have yet to fully heal. I'll have the medical Arms come and take a look at you and to see if you will still need a blood transfusion or not.
Blood...transfusion? Why would I need that for?
I promise you I will tell you in due time. But please Eris my dear rest.
But?…
Princess PLEASE listen to your grandfather. He has been worried about you for over a month now. So please just rest for a bit longer."
Sighing Eris nods at them as she speaks regularly.
Fine, I'll rest for now. But I want answers later, and no sugar coating it either Grandfather you know I'll just ask daddy later.
I promise I'll tell you everything. Now rest.
Sighing she nods and lays back down and rolls over as she pulls the blanket over her feeling as if another dark heavy cloud was coming over her. Sighing, she closes her eyes when something dawns on her and she bolts upright in surprise.

SEP. 14TH 12PM, Raze City Hospital ROOM 206…
How are you feeling Knux?
I guess I'm alright. Least for now.
Lara-Le sits next Knuckles in a chair as she holds his hand gently squeezing it. Knuckles had been out of the ICU for a few weeks now and was making a full recovery now, he laid in his bed looking out the window over the city. The doctors wished for him to stay till they made sure he was able to do some things on his own. Today would be the day they found out if he would be able to go home today or not.
Listen Knuckles sweetie, I have been doing some thinking of late, and well… I think you should come back home to Angel Island.
Knuckles looks at her in surprise as she talks to him.
But mom?!
Knuckles PLEASE, after what happened to you that day I was worried sick about you. I know you're strong and everything but you do have a duty as well.

Lara-Le looks to him as tears start to form in her eyes just as the Doctor comes in.

Both of them looked over at the Doctor and he could see something had happened.

No, no nothing at all. But I wanted to let you know that after looking over everything your Son is now free to go whenever he wishes to. I just need to get him some crutches and have him sign some papers and he can go.

Sitting up Knuckles throws the covers off him just as a nurse comes in with Crutches.
When you're dressed and ready to leave just head down to the front desk and sign yourself out. I'll write up a pain medication for you to take home, make sure you pick it up on your way out as well and go see your pharmacist to have it filled. Just take it easy for the next few days for now and try not to come back here too soon. Come back in a month and half to have your leg x-ray again to see how the bones are. if they look good then we can remove the cast then.

Knuckles tells him as he grabs his bag his mother brought him as he heads into the bathroom to get dressed. After a few minutes he comes back out with the bag and tosses it on the bed heading out.
Knuckles wait…
Growling he looks over to his mother.
I said leave me alone Lara-Le. Now if you don't mind I have some friends to go see.

You WHAT!? I told you to leave me alone! I'm sick of what you've been putting me through, everyday you've been here and now that I'm free to come and go as I please. I'm going and I'm NOT looking BACK. So just go back to the Island and tell Mace to come see me when he gets a chance. Either that or I'll come see him myself when I can. Right now I need to get a hold of everyone and find out what's been going on.
With that said Knuckles leaves the room, his crutches making a tap, tap, tap…. Sound on the floor as he left leaving Lara-Le standing there crying. Knuckles heads down to room 407 and once there he knocks on the door and a green hedgehog looks over to the door and smiles a sharp toothy grin.
Well if it isn't the red MUTT. HA! Good to see you up and moving around Knuckles.

Yeah, a few times they have. They have been keeping me posted on things. Have you heard of anything of Eris?
Not much no, but I'm worried nonetheless. Last I heard her grandfather took her to the Empire Comet to force her into com so she could recover fully. But other than that nothing. Sonic and the others have been keeping me posted on things since everything happened. Not to say me and my fucking mother just got into it yet AGAIN about Eris and how she blames her and more. Trying to convince me to go back to the Island.

Been doing alright. Though sadly, even though I pretty much made a full recovery my powers are another story. I love using Anarchy Beryl but MAN does it take forever to recover one's powers from using it. But least it's not half bad here really. I mean I got two very sexy looking nurses that come to see me every hour, one during the day and a nice looking male that takes care of me at night he he he he... not to say the foods not half bad either.

They leave and head on out. They walk down the hallway to the elevators. As they were waiting they heard a voice call out to them.
Knuckles, Rouge wait up.
They look over and see Greta rushing over to them.

Yeah sorry if I'm late traffic was hell.
Always is with the lunch rush. I was just on my way to see Vector and Espio, wanna come?

Rouge waves bye and leaves as the elevator dings and Knuckles and Greta get on it and head up to see Vector and Espio.

It's not bad. It's nice and roomy and very cozy. I want to thank you again for helping me out like you did. I promise soon as I can get on my own feet and my life going I'll pay you back.
Knuckles holds up a hand shaking his head.
Think nothing of it Greta. Besides you'll be helping me out now anyway why I'm home. Besides, you've been a big help over the last few months. I hope my place is clean when I get there.
It is, it's another reason I was late. I was finishing cleaning it before I came down here. OH, I forgot your landlord wanted me to remind you your rent is due and you're going to owe double this time because you missed last month.

As you three can see we finished putting up the walls and have started painting. Were in the process of putting in new light fixtures and electrical as well. As shown in the blue prints we are even adding in the DJ booth as well now. Even though this place was old it was still in good condition. So we just updated most everything. Fix the walls you name it. Now as we head up stairs we have started on the apartments for the Crew members. Every place is super big and spacious for three people. Every place will have a working kitchen, bathroom and more. It will be like an apartment complex almost.
If we go into this one here I'll show you how everything's looking.
They follow Merck inside one of the apartments and look around. The walls were up and workers were working on the electrical and plumbing. Somewhere walking about taking measurements for things and others were working on putting in cabinets.
As you can see here the walls are up now in this one. By the end of the day as long as nothing goes wrong it should be ready to be painted tomorrow and then furnished. But furnishing won't happen till everything else is done of course.

Birch was in his lounge room relaxing after just getting back from an Air Blade Race. He had just taken off his shoes and sat down and grabbed one of his XBOX ONE controllers and turned on his XBOX to some Black Ops. Just as he was about to load up his game his phone goes off. He takes it out and looks at the caller ID and sees it was Charmy calling him. He puts down his controller and answers it.

Charmy just got back to everyone just as Birch walked into the room and right at that moment he could tell something was up. Folding his arms he looks at everyone nun, happy by the vibes in the room.

Espio holds out the copies of the files to him as he walks further into the room and takes them and looks at them for a moment. After a moment he lets out a growl and he shows left fang as his eyes narrow.

He knew she meant well, and was trying to be realistic right now since there hadn't been any word from Maxwell of Eris and how she was doing. He never once thought how the others were doing or in this case how Amy WAS doing since she saw the full of how Eris looked that day, so he had been told. Sighing and feeling like shit for yelling at her he pulls over to the side of the road and stops the car. This surprised Amy as she looked at him for a moment, but before she could ask what was wrong he unbuckles her and him both and pulls her into a tight hug. For a moment Amy didn't know what was going on, but after a moment she hugged him back and cried another soul wrenching cry for what it seemed like the millionth time in a month.

Eris my dear maybe you should calm down for now my little starlight? You've been in quite the traumatic state for a time now and you're not fully recovered yet. You only just woken up when you should have been in a coma for at least another month.

Eris stairs at him in shock, as if she was seeing a whole different hedgehog right now.
I DEMAND that you LOOK me in the eyes and tell me the truth right now Shadow. Tell me everything I said is a lie! That you truly don't remember me or our friends at all and our childhood.

I SAID FUCKING DO IT RIGHT NOW SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG AND TELL ME EVERYTHING LEADING UP TO THIS DAY WAS A LIE! THAT YOU TRULY DON'T REMEMBER ANYTHING AT ALL?!"
Shadow was lost for words as he looked to Black Void for help.
"Do as she asks of your Shadow, then maybe it will help her rest. She is too stressed out as is and this will only weaken her more.

Shadow goes over to Eris and he looks down on her and she up at him. She slowly sits up on her knees to get a better look at his eyes, and he tells her the truth without even blinking once as he does…
"Everything you told me just now, I truly do not remember. Maybe for you they were sweet memories and not lies. But to me they are, for I do not remember everything you asked of me. I only remember my life here, on the Empire Comet and nothing more. I never once left the Comet till over a month ago to help bring you here, and these PEOPLE you speak of and claim I was FRIENDS with I never met them before so therefore I do not know, nor remember them at all. I am truly sorry Princess."
Eris looks at him for a long time as he stands there not moving a muscle or even blinking as she looks him in his Crimson red eyes. She saw it. He was telling the truth. He didn't remember her, their life together or their friends back home. He truly WAS a different hedgehog right now. One she didn't recognize at all. With a shaky breath she asks him one last question.
"W-w-who is...who is your father?
Black Doom."
She softly gaps out as tears start to form. He looks at her a bit worried as she frozen on the spot saying only two words barely audible.
"Get….Out….
Princess?
I said get… out now….Y-y-you and...my grandfather….now.
But Princess?
Eris my little one...
I SAID GET OUT NOW! BOTH OF YOU! I DON'T WANT TO LOOK AT EITHER OF YOU RIGHT NOW! GET OUT, GET OUT, GET OUT RIGHT NOW!"
As she was yelling at them power had built up within her without her or anyone knowing it and she had gone and unleashed a Chaos Crystal Blast in her room sending Shadow and her Grandfather flying backwards. Shadow hits a wall why her grandfather was sent flying into her door, breaking it, and into the hallway. Shadow falls to the floor with a grunt why her grandfather hits the floors outside her room with a thud. Shadow groans out, placing a hand on his forehead shaking it. Looking around trying to figure out what happened he sees Black Void on the ground outside her room as the doors start to fix themselves. Shadow runs out of Eris room to make sure he is alright.
"Lord Void are you alright sir?
Y-yes I t-think so. But HOW did she DO that? Her powers? The effects of the Anarchy Beryl?
I don't know sir but she did.
Where is she now?"
Shadow helps him up and he looks around and goes right back to her room to check on Eris. The doors open for him as he and Black Void walk and float in and they find her on the floor passed out.
"ERIS?!
ERIS?!"
They both yell at once. Shadow runs over to her to check her and finds she's alright, just passed out from using her abilities. Black Void looks around her room and sighs as he calls some of the maids to her room to clean it up and fix it and have everything replaced. For everything in her room was pretty much destroyed from her Chaos Crystal Blast.
"My Lord what should we do?
I have a cleaning crew coming in here to fix her room up. For now see if there is something for her to wear since her nightgown is ruined, and take her to your quarters to rest till it is finished.
As you wish my Lordship."
Shadow gets to work and soon finds something for her to wear. He puts it on her and carries her to his room to rest so the cleaning crew could fix Eris' room up.
End flashback present day…
She looks over at him as he stands off to the side of his room watching over her as her Grandfather had instructed him to do.
If I don't let them know I am well things can and WILL go south for me and my Crew. I have a HUGE reputation and GRATE respect down there by so many. Grandfather has allowed me to do this. I need to see my friends. You would understand if you were your real self and not some FAKER walking around in the body of the guy I once knew and loved. At least HE would understand. Not whatever you ARE.
Shadow narrows his eyes at her growling at her. She copies him and does it back. Needless to say the last few days they had been at odds with one another. She was still having a hard time believing that this was the same Shadow from her childhood. Why Shadow was getting annoyed by her venom at him for something he couldn't help.
Listen PRINCESS I told you whatever happened between us in the past I don't remember at all, and you ATTACKING me every chance you get is REALLY getting annoying.
Yeah well, deal with it.
Eris huffs folding her arms looking away from him. If truth be told it was when he told her who his father was that she remembered what she was told all though years ago by Doom himself. She was having a hard time coming to terms with it all. But something deep within her kept telling her something was off. Shadow looks at her standing his ground till he sighs out rubbing his forehead. They remain quiet for a long time till Eris sighs out a near shaky breath, Shadow catches this and looks over at her slightly tilting his head.
Princess?
I-I'm sorry Shadow. I-it's just…. *Sighs*…
Eris lets her arms fall to her side as she folds her legs up onto her chair wrapping her arms around them as she rests her legs on her chin looking at the red and black flames that were in the fireplace keeping her room warm.
Princess?
It's just I know it's you. The one from my childhood. Your father told me years ago you would more than likely forget everything during your training, but….

I don't know?
She sighs out as Shadow comes closer to her and stands near her. She sees him doing so out the corner of her eye and she looks up at him as she looks down at her. They stare at one another, Crimson looking at two tone eyes. Two tone eyes looking at Crimson. She stands up and Shadow backs up a bit as she looks at him, their eyes not once looking away from one another for a moment. She slowly reaches up to place her hand on his left cheek and he reaches up and places his hand over hers. For a time more they stay like that till Eris says something very softly.
It's really true isn't it?
She says this as more of a statement then a question. He looks back into her beautiful two tone eyes and answers her.
Yes it's true Princess. I'm sorry.
Hear ears fall as she looks at him sighing sadly. She removes her hand from his cheek and turns around and walks away over to the window and looks down at Mobius and holds herself. Shadow watches her for a moment till he sees her shaking. Believing she was cold he takes the blanket from her chair and walks over to her and places it over her shoulders. She looks at him smiling sadly as he wraps it around her. She holds the front of it closed as she places a hand on the window resting her forehead on it.
I-i know you don't remember me Shady, o-or of our past together. But…. Know I really missed you. More than you could know. I don't know what happened to you to make you forget me, but know we once did have a life as friends together. We loved one another a lot. You and me both were very close to one another, to the point we thought nearly the same things at the same time. We would know what the other was thinking without having to say anything at all. We just knew. More than anything you used to know what was bothering me WHEN it was bothering me and you would always find some way to make me feel better.

Shadow looks at her, then out the window and sighs. She glances as she sees him place his hands behind his back. She places her hand on his shoulder and he looks at her and sees her smiling softly at him.
If it's alright with you Shadow, I would like to get to know the new you please. That's if you'll allow me to that is, and you can get to know me as well at the same time, and who knows maybe you'll see that we're meant to be. So what do you say? We start anew and make new memories?
He looks at her for a moment till he reaches up with his left hand and takes her hand in his and he nods smiling softly back.
I know it's been hard on you these last few days, and you're still recovering and stressed out from it all. But for you, I'd like to try as well.
Why still holding her hand he looks out the window.
I don't know why, but part of me believes what you say is true.
And the other part?
I'm still unsure about it all. But the bigger part of me believes you for some reason. About us once having a life together and more growing up. I may not remember any of it, but if what you say is true. Then I would like it very much if we could get to know one another as well and make new memories together. Eris rolls her eyes shaking her head at him.

Eris rubs her temple shaking her head as Shadow chuckles at her.

She glares at him through narrowed eyes growling.

She cocks an eyebrow at him as she folds her arms.

Shadow couldn't help but chuckle at her and her expression right now. She was being pretty cute if he had to admit it.

Eris looks at him growling low and deadly as she drops her arms and clenches her hands into fists.

She yells at him clearly annoyed now. Shadow looks at her giving a slight smirk while enjoying how she was wigging out right now. She really did look pretty cute when she was worked up, and he was kind of enjoying tormenting her. A wicked idea crossed his mind and he thought he would see how far he could pusher her for the fun of it.
You do know BELLADONNA…. I can't be killed so easily right?

Eris gives a smug little grin at him as she literally gets in his face and points a finger at him.

She stops and looks at him in shock surprised and looks round.

He folds his arm, cocking an eyebrow at her giving her a smug look.

Eris throws her arms up in the air in defeat making her blanket fall off to the floor as she storms off in a huff. But as she was doing so, she wasn't paying mind to where she was walking and she trips over the rug and starts to fall. Shadow sees this and he runs over to her and catches her in time before she did. He holds her close as she rests her hands on his chest as she looks at him in surprise. For a long moment they look at one another blushing softly as they slowly move in without truly knowing it and where about to kiss when something comes over Shadow first and he shakes his head as he realizes what was about to happen. At the same time Eris realizes this as well and turns her head and folds her ears back in shame as she blushes a deeper red that covers her cheeks and tips of her ears as she coughs into her hand as he holds her.
Princess...Eris I mean…. Eris...I ah….Are you...alright?
Shadow asks her, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly looking away blushing.
Y-Y-Yeah… I ah...am...Yes...thank you….for c-catching me Shadow.
Anytime Belladonna.
Eris eyes widen as she turns her head at him growling as her eyes narrow.
I told you not to call me that.
He chuckles softly looking at her giving her a smug look.
Sorry I couldn't resist doing it one last time. You really are cute when you are annoyed or mad you know.
She looks at him with a look of….REALLY… written across her face.

She giggles shaking her head at him.

He places his other arm back around her holding her close still making her blush yet again as he gives her a debonair smile.

He lets out a hardy chuckle at her making her smile softly at him. As he is chuckling, Eris lets out a big yawn as she rests her head on his shoulder sighing softly. Shadow catches this and looks down at her.
You all right Eris?
She nods trying her best to hold back another yawn but fails. Her eyes start to feel heavy and she slowly lets them fall.
I think it's time to put you back in bed to rest for a bit before your call with your friends.
No…they will all be... at Reggie's soon….. It won't take them ….long to get there.
Eris you need your rest. You're still recovering from everything that has happened to you. Not to say you still need blood transfusion every few days. You're still really weak.

Shadow picks her up bridal style and walks over to her bed and lays her down on it. He takes the top comforter at the foot of her bed and pulls it over her and tucks her in.
What of my friends though? I don't want to miss our call together.
She asks him in a sleepy daze.
If you try and get some sleep, I'll see about getting something set up in here so you can talk with them during your blood transfusion. Alright?
You'd do that for me?

Smiling she nods sleepy as she closes her eyes and rolls over curling up under the blanket. Smiling, Shadow walks over to where the one blanket was on the floor and places it back on the chair and walks out of her room quietly. Before leaving he looks back at her as her lights turn off and he stands there in the door's dim light grinning a sly smile. Now that Eris was awake he could put his own plan into motion. He would get to know her as he promised Black Void, why at the same time he would get to know Trinity as well. But just from the few moments he and Eris spent together just now, he already liked her, and really wanted to get to know her more. But he wasn't going to be some TROPHY for either of them like Black Void wanted. He would do it his way and ultimately in the end he would decide who he wanted to be with even if it went against Black Voids wishes.
He walks out of her room as he does the doors close behind him with a hiss, and he walks down the hallway with his arms behind his back. As he turns corning he sees Trinity not too far off and he calls out to her.
Princess Trinity hold up a moment if you would.
Trinity looks behind her and when she does she Shadow walking over to her. She smiles and waits for him.
Shadow hello.
Hello Princess Trinity.
Shadow takes hold of her hand and kisses the top of it smiling at her. She blushes a bright red giggling.
