INT. Prentiss, JJ and Taylor Great's parents - DAY(Scene 3.4)
JJ, Prentiss, and the parents of victim Taylor Great are in an interview room. The police department here in French Lick was small, so the interview room is also the interrogation room. It's cold- both physically (Emily put her jacket back on) and emotionally
JJ: Did you know your daughter was HIV positive?
Mr. Great: Yes, she was diagnosed in high school
Prentiss: Was there anyone she would have told, or did she keep it a secret, her diagnosis?
Mr. Great: She was shy and embarrassed about it. I don't know anyone she would have told
JJ: Ok, thank you.
JJ and Prentiss exit the room. They walk into the hallway and JJ leans against the wall. Prentiss sits in the chair across from her. She buries her face in her hands
Prentiss: Ok so all three girls with HIV were private about it. How would the unsub know?
JJ: Maybe he had some way to access their medical files?
Prentiss looks up and presses her lips together before speaking.
Prentiss: But we profiled that he's a janitor. Maybe he's got some sort of tech background, he hacked them?
JJ: you know, some places haven't gone digital yet.
Prentiss nods.
Prentiss: If he's a janitor, he cleans up after everyone is gone, so if there was a file room at some sort of medical facility- he'd be able to check files. But-
Morgan interrupts
Morgan: Guys, there's another body.
JJ and Prentiss sigh and the two get up from their spots (JJ on the wall and Prentiss in the chair). They (Morgan included) turn and the camera follows them walking back to the conference room and the camera pans through the window where Reid is visible, seamlessly beginning Scene 3.5
