Yatsuhashi: I've heard of your bunch.
Ike: Oh? Then tell me.
Yatsuhashi: People don't trust the Greils, and yet they always appear optimistic.
Ike: We are. It's like a pandemic in our camp.
Yatsuhashi: It's odd given the bad rep your group gets whenever you come trudging into a town.
Ike: That's why we send errand boys to get the goods. Literal errand boys.
Yatsuhashi: Was this…how you trained in the early days?
Ike: No, but I love to explore well within the safety of my father's men. I was just…quite easy to provoke as a child.
Yatsuhashi: Provoke?
Ike: I was dared to do things a lot. Most of these dares were impossible for any other child to perform, but I was told that I wasn't just any child, and that pride, instead of crushing me…*lifts Ragnell*
Yatsuhashi: Awakened your Semblance.
Ike: Perhaps, but I was content with having Aura that day.
Yatsuhashi: Aura?
Ike: I unlocked my Semblance shortly after my eleventh birthday. Once I grasped its workings, I commissioned a sword. A sword only I could wield.
Yatsuhashi: So Ragnell...
Ike: Can't be lifted by anyone other than myself. To wield it was deftly as I do requires manual strength such as yours, bolstered by a Semblance, which is turn fueled by a prodigious amount of Aura. Miss one of those and all you can manage is a probable budge.
Yatsuhashi: A specific set of conditions that are nigh-impossible to replicate.
Ike: *nods* Still, you exceed me by a different calibre. Your restraint.
Yatsuhashi: I grew up in calm halls and was raised by gentle hands.
Ike: Surrounded by stern voices and wise reflections. But then there was a ripple in that pool of happiness. One that you caused. As the Hunstman's way molded you, the memory stayed as a scar. Faded, yet easy to touch upon. A fulcrum.
Yatsuhashi: Y-Yes. How could you tell?
Ike: *points to himself* Mercenary. We see people in shades deeper than complexion.
Yatsuhashi: It was an honor to spar with you Ike.
Ike: The feeling is mutual.
Yatsuhashi: But seriously, don't do that again. It's really creepy.
Well, so apparently Marth is aware of this big guy + big guy = bromance moment. Oh well, it's not like he mapped it out on a chalkboard. All Ike said was that his Semblance helps him hold Ragnell so easily, so technically Yatsu merely has an idea of how the unnerving Ike applies his Semblance, meaning that only Team KEIM and Ozpin have the exact rundown of it. Oh well. That will all change in a couple of days.
But then, if you've been reading RWBY literary media, you'll know that Yatsu's team knows a lot more than they let on. And the rest of Team CFVY has been involved with Team KEIM. In fact, Marth remembers asking a certain rabbit Faunus to help him with some upgrades to Falchion.
