We are here again, with the year almost over our sudirian Friends are Celebrating an American Celebrations of Thanksgiving. This year they have much to be thankful for. While our visitors from the Mainland are unaware of the celebrations with the exceptions of Merlin Theo and Lexi. Want to see how most of our friends managed a wonderful night without any uneasy feelings from their resort Visitors? Let us pay a visit and find out for ourselves, Shall we?

I do not own any part of Thomas the tank engine & Friends, my little pony friendship is magic, nor that of Tugs the television series. They are owned by their respective companies while other Characters were created by Pinkninjaprime, BGW4life, and blackboard26.

A Thanksgiving to remember.

The Day started out when the ladies of the homestead gathered in the Dining hall discussing the dishes each of them plan to make including Ashima and Gina from the International boarding house. The humanized ponies are also present with the exception of Fluttershy to help prepare the meal with their friends. Rosie and Emily plan to prepare the main focuse of the meal with are the turkeys, while Thomas and the boys plan to help by smoking up their chosen Salmon for those who rather have it light. Plus, some of the smoked salmon Rosie hopes to make a snack spread for when people cannot wait for the dinner to be over with.

Thomas. "Good day ladies, and hello to you my Rosie rose." He said as he came close to give his girl a loving kiss before taking part in preparing the meal for their guests.

Rosie. "Hello handsome, getting the salmons ready for tonight?"

Thomas. "That is right, I know I need to make enough for the guests we hope can make it over this year."

Rarity. "Whatever you mean Thomas Darling?'

Thomas. "We were hoping for the Gresley brothers and Spencer to make an appearance to the homestead since they loved it as much as we did."

Emily. "Plus, both he and Gordon want to compete each other in prepping food for the masses."

Applejack. "Planning another big event like last year Thomas?"

Thomas. "To tell you the truth Applejack, we could only bring in a minimal amount of people over this year. The engine crews are spending their usual night at home without the turkey and trimmings, the Hats however could not say no to a celebrations feast that usually occurred on the other side of the world than here. Plus, it gives them an excuse on seeing how everyone had done since the last time he was here."

Pinkie Pie. "That is almost every chance he comes here, and it may or may not be involving the railway."

This is when James came in to say hello to Molly and help give Thomas a hand around his smoker. "That is because even when we were still the engines he considered us an extension of his family, even more so since we grow closer in becoming independent grownups that he hopes can contribute to the railway. Whether we return to work on it or do things he hopes will bring in more passengers to the Island."

Thomas. "Things have been really different this year, I know our crews will feel disappointed in joining in on this year's Billington / Vulcan Thanksgiving we have celebrated since owning the homestead."

Molly. "Some things cannot be helped since the beginning of this year; the pandemic is causing many events this year to cancel due to the nature of the virus."

Rainbow Dash. "I mean can anyone tell that this virus going around is so bad that it makes perfect sense to listen to the science behind it?"

This is when Edward came in to join in on the conversations. "Not all of humanity take these circumstances seriously, I remember a few Illnesses where mankind should have seen the warning signs, far too often you will hear of those who defile the orders for Foolish resistance."

Twilight. "I have read all about these events that had the world under its knees when people cannot find reason for the troubles their times were under."

Thomas. "Thank goodness for Modern medicine when the science can help explain the natures of the bacteria and viruses of our word in order to prepare to fight off. Even when we did not realize we are under attack of things you find under some powerful microscopes."

James. "Well enough about the virus, let us get that salmon ready for the smoker."

Holly. "Thank you James, the sooner the salmon is ready from the smoker, the sooner we get the spreadable smoked salmon cheese spread for our guests who we hope can make it."

Wyatt. "Not to worry cousin, I am sure we are going to have a wonderful time tonight with the guests tonight."

Then the boys had ventured out to the outdoor kitchen and started their smoking cabinet that Thomas had built for the homestead. After finding the container that held their salmon and brine solution after allowing the smoker to come to the right temperature, they place the salmon on the hooks and allow for them to hang and absorb all that wonderful smoke.

It was about this time when the Gresley brothers had arrived, Gordon hopes he did not miss Thomas placed his salmon into the Smoker.

Gordon. "Hey Thomas, you could have waited for me?"

Thomas. "Sorry Gordon, but we need to get the salmon in the smoker so we can get it out of the way for everyone else who is preparing tonight's meal."

Spencer. "Hello there Thomas, I see you had beaten Gordon to the smoker already."

Thomas. "You by chance had not delayed him on his journey here Spencer?"

Scott. "He was taking his time on the movies he wanted to share tonight Thomas, even the one where you met lady for the first time."

Thomas. "Actually, it was a very long time since I have seen lady on the rails after Garth as Diesel 10 chased her to crash after a nasty accident she was involved in."

Polly came up behind the Greasley brothers to announce her input on the film. "I would find it best not to show that film tonight Spencer."

Spencer. "Why not I think it would bring in a good conversation for tonight."

Polly. "Because I had invited Garth since he hardly comes over for any celebrations, since the hostage situation we hope he has done well from that incident,"

Thomas. "I suggest not to show that to prevent old demons from emerging from old wounds."

Spencer. "Well then, what film should we watch tonight then?"

Then Holly Mikado had arrived to offer a film that showed her old form in the film. "How about the film that inspired my form to be a part of. It is called the Polar Express, it is a movie based on how one young man learn how to believe in what Christmas is all about."

Percy. "I am going to like that movie."

Cutie Mark crusaders. "Us too." The crusaders just laughed about watching something else that was inspired by a story time book on a railway engine from the states.

Sweetie Bell. "That way we can also learn about the real magic that the holidays are all about."

Scoot a Loo. "Not to mention all the thrills the movie presented, far more daring than what the controller would allow on his railway."

Apple Bloom. "During which we can help prepare the meal with our sisters and be a big help this year, right Big Mac?"

Big Mac. "Yup, It is the family that does things together that makes any time of the year very special."

Granny Smith. "You got that right young ins, It is the best when family is together for such occasions."

Down in the big Biliington bay cabin Lexi and Theo are being entertained by Merlin after learning how to perform magical tricks of illusions. He has started to perform magical rabbits from the hat, turning ripped up papers into papers that seemed like new again. Along with other tricks he hopes to share with homesteaders after the kind invitation only three of them received during their stay. Hurricane and Frankie never learned about the Thanksgiving celebrations on the homestead and just took this time to venture to other parts of the Island for inspirations for the affections on their targeted interest

Merlin. "How was that my fellow humanized friends of the mainland steelworks?"

Theo. "That is very good Merlin, plan of using that for entertaining our host tonight?"

Merlin. "It is indeed Theo, after the invitations form our hosts, we feel it would be best to show our talents we managed to gain after our own humanizations."

Lexi. "Oh yes, I am sure that our friends like to see what we managed to find out about ourselves since we began walking from our engine sides."

Theo. "I just hope they liked what I had managed to bring along with me, I only used what was in my heart at the time when I was working on it." Theo was referring to a painting of himself and his friends including Thomas and James as human along their engine sides as a means of friendship.

Merlin. "I am sure they will be impressed with the talent you had managed to find from within Theo my boy."

Lexi. "You should show it to them, I am sure they will love it."

Theo. "You think so?"

Merlin. "If we are impressed with this painting you made with our hosts, then I am sure they will love it too."

This brightened Theo up and is ready to show their friends his painting to them.

Later Thomas and the boys had finished the salmon just as the humanized tugs came up to join in on the festivities.

Trent Dimes. (Ten Cents) "Oi, Thomas!"

Percy. "Hello everyone."

Then the parties joined up before entering the Dining hall.

Oscar Jones. (O. J.) "I have been smelling that smoked salmon all the way from the general store."

Zeb Eddie. '(Zebedee) "It smell so good we cannot wait to have a taste of your special spread."

Edward. "We just got the fish out of the smoker and now our ladies are going to make that special spread you all liked."

Shawn Brightly. (Sunshine) "I am more interested in the birds once they come out of the ovens. I especially loved how you kept them in a special brine overnight and made that special injection."

Thomas. 'that is what makes my turkeys special, it is best to work the turkey a night before placing them in to the ovens when placing them in your brine solution, and then make an herb and garlic injections to make the birds pop out with flavor."

Trent. "Pease stop you are making me hungry enough to eat the whole birds with guilt."

Oscar. "Just keep you guard up Trent, keep your mind off the meal for much of the time it has been worked on, and we will have a wonderful feast for everyone to enjoy."

Then the friends came inside and allowed the ladies make their magic on the newly smoked salmon for their guests.

Later it was time for the first of the guests to arrive, The Hats are the first to arrive, just behind him were the former Rulers of Equestria Celestia and Luna.

Twilight had seen them and decided to greet them at the doors. "Celestia, Luna and my family as well, I am so glad everyone here had made it this thanksgiving night."

Celestia. "Twilight I would not miss any special events with you, not even our retirement could keep us away from you and your friends."

Luna. "Indeed, these celebrations are a way to express what we are also thankful for."

Ariel had joined up with her brother as he and his friends have greeted Merlin and his company, just after learning what each of them are capable of now they are waling about. They were amazed of the painting Theo had made. both Thomas and James were amazed of the portrait of themselves with their friends from the Steelworks.

James. "Oh wow, Theo that is really good."

Theo. "You think so James?"

James. "Think so, I know so. you have captured my likeness like no other with everyone present in this painting you made."

Thomas. "This is very good work Theo."

STH. "Yes, Theo you have captured the very essence of my humanized engines with their engine sides quite well."

Theo. "Thank you sir."

Ariel. "What can you do Lexi?"

Lexi had brought with her some handheld wooden puppets that she managed to voice them in an art of Ventriloquism. "I had managed to find the time to train myself in ventriloquism." Then her puppet went. "Yeah imagine going around with a dummy in you behind."

Lexi played along as the residents just laughed from the dramatics. "Now that was not a polite way to say hello." Then she looked up. "I am sorry, but this is Alan, I had ordered him to be in my act."

Alan. "You can see how that is going well. I had to learn the major things while she picks up the slack."

The friends cannot help but to laugh at that even Pinkie pie came in to listen into the puppet master and her puppet.

Lexi to Alan. "What do you mean you had to learn the major things in our act? I was the one who had brought you into our lives and you should be grateful in finding a place were friends are around you."

Alan. "Friends, all I see is a bunch stranger who I barely know and wonder if they are wood eaters or not."

Thomas. "Well you will be the first to know Alan we are a group of friends who are more than glad to invite you to our Thanksgiving celebrations tonight."

Alan. "Ah, well now I know what I am thankful for?"

Lexi. "And what will that be Alan?"

Alan. "That I am not surrounded by beavers."

Everyone laughed just as the ladies came out to announce that dinner was ready.

Rosie. "Well come on everyone it is time for dinner so everyone come over and find a seat with around the dining table and begin our dinner."

Everyone had come over and started to collect around the dinning tables just as Oliver Duck and the twin came in from gathering the firewood for the fireplace just as Rosie and the girls managed to bring the meal to everyone else. Thomas is with one of the turkey to help serve the people closest to his table while Gordon, Rebecca had sat down at the other long table, Twilight sparkle and Flash decided to help serve the food on their table.

Everyone sat with their loved ones just as the food is being passed around, just as everyone got a piece of the meal on their plates, Thomas decided that it was time to say grace before the meal.

Thomas. "Everyone may I have your attention please?" Everyone stopped and observed Thomas as he stood up gained everyone's attention. "I would like to start by saying grace as we are about to enjoy this feast tonight." Everyone became quiet and allowed for Thomas to start as everyone just folded their hands so no one can follow the safe guidelines for this year. "Heavenly father, we gathered here to give you thanks and we praise you in our time of uncertainty. This year has been a trying year, not one of us could ever remember a time of such unrest since the ending of the second world war in our lifetimes as the engines on sodor, Nor have we ever witnessed such unrest of everyone on earth who continue to ask for your hand in healing this awful time we are under. However, we are most grateful for you to keep us safe, alive and aware of what we needed to do under these times. We have each other, we have our health, and we are all still here to be part of this special feast tonight. WE pray we can find the solution and find ways of returning your world the way you had made it. Amen."

Everyone else. "Amen."

Merlin. "Well I am grateful for our time with our friends here on the island of sodor, and very much glad that Thomas found out where we could go after learning about us from that siding on the mainland."

Trent. "My friends and I like to say we are thankful for being part of this homestead, we know we can be a great asset for this place when we welcome our guests down by the Billington bay Docks."

Twilight Sparkle. "I think to speak for the rest of my family and friends of our world, that we are most Thankful for still being able to come back to this place after the announcement of the virus going around. This Island seems to prove to be at its best during the worst the rest of the world is facing. We are all thankful for all the friends we made during our own times in school here too."

Applejack. "Amen to that twilight."

Rainbow Dash. "Rock on."

Rarity. "You know it Twilight Darling."

Pinkie Pie. "Yay."

Fluttershy. "Woo, hoo."

Celestia. 'Well said my formal pupil."

STH. "Thomas let me say it has always been an honor of having you a part of my railway either as the engine or as the driver. I am very thankful for your efforts on the rails and even more now as the owner of this homestead and Resort. I am very thankful for having you all play a part over the years and even more so as you are now. "

Thomas. "Thank you, sir. I would like to say what I am most grateful for this Thanksgiving night. That I am most thankful that all my friends and family are alive and well even through these difficult times. I can only be more hopeful that next year will be more productive once the antivirus has been found and distributed so on one can fear the loss of a loved one once the threat had lifted in our lives."

Gordon. "We all feel the same way Thomas, we all do."

Henry. "Here here."

Edward. "Indeed."

After the prayer everyone had started passing around their share of the meal with everyone on their tables and begin the meal.

Thomas, Twilight, and Trent decided to break away from the tables for the moment to speak to the rest of us.

Thomas. "To everyone who are celebrating this Thanksgiving night, we want to take this time to say."

Trent. "From the bottom of our hearts to wish each of you and your family."

Twilight Sparkle. "An incredibly happy and safe Thanksgiving, by staying home with those you live with. keep washing your hand and remember to wear your face mask. It is not just a saying; it will help save your life as well the people in your household."

Thomas, Trent, and Twilight Sparkle. "Happy Thanksgiving everyone and be safe and aware of your surroundings." then the friends returned to their seating to rejoin their friends on this special Thanksgiving on the homestead.
