Tony opened the door

he froze-

his eyes landed on Peter.The boy was sitting up right in his hospital bed. Talking to Bruce. He even had a smile on his face.

"what? " He gasped for air while holding his eyes directly on his son

Peter turned his head. He hadnt realised Tony opened the door. He also froze. His mentor. His father. Tony was standing in that door. After being so desperate to see him for such a long time...he was there now.

he tried to get up but fell down from the pain and squeezed his eyes shot.

"woah take it easy pete" Tony came rushing to help Peter.

They both looked at each other.

"so" Tony began "you good?"

peter tilted his head a bit

"well.." But he couldnt finish his sentence. He got interrupted by Tony throwing his arms around him. He held him tight. Not letting go and burrying his head in peters shoulder. "god I was so worried pete"

Peter hugged him even tighter. "I know. I'm so sorry" he wispered into tony's ear

Tony let go.

"what? are you serious?"

Peter tried to explain confused over the man's reaction."I'm sorry. for being so stupid again and getting-"

"let me stop you right there young man. -Tony pointed his finger at Peter.- You aint sorry for nothin. Why would you say that? it wasnt ANYTHING near your fault okay? why would you apologize for getting kidnapped? "

"I mean.. Peter began- It was my fault that they got me right? i could have faught better or could have-" And again, he didnt get to finish that sentence.

"Peter Benjamin Parker Stark! I didnt raise you to be like that! I cant believe you right now! remember my words: YOU didnt do anything wrong! YOU were the victim! YOU did all you could! YOU will not apologize for not fighting good enough to not get yourself kidnapped! cause thats just stupid! And you are NOT stupid!"

"uhm.okay? i guess? " Peter was impressed by Tony's reaction

"good." Tony lowered his voice

"but before i forget. I mean, sure you should have called for help..."

Peter looked at the floor, avoiding eye contact to which Tony just put his hand underneath peter's chin and tilted his head upwards to look his son in the eyes

"but I know you're not that kinda man to call for help when you need it... And I'm sure everybody in this tower knows that neither am I" He smiled at Peter

"thanks dad" Peter smiled back. He was so happy to have tony as his father. And he had missed him so much!

Bruce had already left the room when he saw tony getting inside at the beginning without one of them noticing. he thought it was good to give them both some time with each other .

So he took the elevator and entered the living room. The others were there as well.

When they realised bruce was there they got excited.

"BRUCE!WHATS WITH PETER!" Steve was first to ask

"WE HEARED THAT YOU CALLED FOR TONY. IS EVERYTHING FINE? DID SOMETHING HAPPEN?" Natasha was quick to add

" yes- Bruce began to explain- something did happen"

They're eyes got big. looking scared after bruce's statement.

"peter woke up"

They all gasped for air when he finished the sentence.

"WHAT?!AND YOU'RE TELLING US THAT NOW?!" Clint was furious

"I'm gonna go down there and see for myself!" Bucky said turning around.But bruce grabbed his shoulder.

"no. Tony is with him right now.Give them some time" He looked Bucky in the eyes. begging him to listen.

"ughhhhhh fine" Bucky stated .

"thank you" Bruce let go of his shoulder and turned to the others again.

"he seems to be fine for now. He can only just sit up at the moment. But other than that ,movement is still hard for him. Too much will give him a bad headache and I just got him off of that with some pain killers. So please, when you get to see him be careful"

"Yeah. of course" Wanda agreed, just being overly relieved that the boy is okay now.

"whats with his other wounds?" Sam asked being curious

Bruce tried to think of a way to explain it the best. "well, some of them are as good as healed. The others will take a lot more time. Its just like Nat or Clint here would get hurt. They dont have anything supernatural in them that helps them with the healing process. Its gonna be pretty painful for the kid but he'll do it, he's a strong boy. Also, i still could not find anything abnormal with the cut so we'll assume they didnt do anything to it yet and its just a cut. Got that?"

"indeed. thank you Bruce" Steve said, giving him an appreciating nod.

The others joined.

Pepper put an arm around bruce.

"thank you for saving my Son Bruce. I dont know what we would have done without you" Bruce gave her a shy smile.

"yeah smartass, you're the best we have" Clint commented and made everyone laugh.

"I'm gonna go down there and look after my boys now" Pepper said, took a deep breath and headed for the elevator.

Pepper entered the room. Her eyes locked on his Son laying in bed. Tony sitting next to him on the bed.

She smiled. Finally, her two favorite boys reunited. She loved this family. And it was so hard without Peter. He held this family together. They could never lose him again.

"what are you two up to?" She asked,giving them her 'i know exactly what you're up to' face .

They loved that face.

"Mum!" Peter had a big smile on his face.

Tony smiled too. He moved his hand, gesturing her to join them.

She gave Peter a hug and a kiss on the forehead. "you scared the hell out of me!"

tony cleared his throat.

"you scared the hell out of us" she corrected herself.

"i know. i know, I'm -" Peter gave an apologetic look but was cut off mid- sentence .

"na-uh- Pepper cut him off- you're not sorry. I'm sure your father already told you that. Its not your fault okay? dont you apologize. "

Peter laughed a little.

"you two are unbelievable"
